On Duty

Akihiro raised an eyebrow when Masuyo showed him the items. He had developed enchantments for jewelry very much like she had requested but he had been expecting her jewelry to be something more... fancy. Instead, the titanium ring and necklaces were very simple pieces, with absolutely no ornament or engravings to it. Akihiro almost felt bad for enchanting such simple pieces because he felt he they were unworthy of his art. But alas he had already promised Masuyo he would so this and there was no going back now even in spite of Masuyo's apparent terrible taste in jewelry.

Akihiro raised his hands and placed them above the items. his palms turned down, the left one above the ring and the right one above the necklace. Afterwards, he allowed his chakra to run through his arms towards the tip of his fingers, and as it rained down on the items they began to glow. The ring began to gain purple lighting while the necklace gained a yellow one. Little by litle the light began to grow stronger and the items began to vibrate first softly but then at a stronger and stronger pace. By the time the vibrations were almost unbearable and the light too strong to look at directly, they both stopped and the items returned to normal.

"It's done. I will now go to take care of Lord Satomi's funeral arrangements." Akihiro would state, simply. Then he would turn and leave.

The jewelry she requested Akihiro to enchant was complete with the enchantment placed. Akihiro left to fulfill a funeral request for Satomi. Masuyo had more urgent matters to attend to. Getting the money secure was the first step, but word has it that a messenger bird has arrived from Iwagakure to Konoha. It wasn't long enough she sent Gin out with Konami to fulfill an errand. The status of Iwagakure will be shared through the bird.

Akihiro showed up on top of the Kage's desk. Literally, he just appeared there. It was obvious to him that the Hokage had kept his gift on a drawer... which ended up coming in handy. If the kunai had been kept on her house then Akihiro would have needed to run towards the Government Buildings. But conveniently, the Hokage had granted him access to her office in the form of a marked kunai.

Akihiro wasted no time in getting to action. He took paper and pen from the desk and began furiously writing. Despite how fast he was writing, the words came clear. He was a shinobi trained in dexterity after all. While he wrote, Akihiro listened to the video the Hokage had left on her desk. It looked important and Akihiro was a very curious boy. One cannot tell how surprised he was with the information recorded on that video. But he had no time to stop and worry. There were a lot of things he needed to do and little time to get those things done. He also made sure to take the letter that was meant for the Hokage and which had been left on her desk. Information was invaluable after all!

He raced out of the office to find a surprised office clerk. He gave them the written orders signed by none other than Konoha's Jonin Commander and Uchiha Clan Leader. "Those orders? Get them done. Immediately."

After that, he raced out of the Government Building.
