Hideki's words got Masuyo worked up with the thrill of battle. He was confident in his efforts to avoid her, but she was guaranteed to get several hits off in this round. She wanted to beat him during his training. It was the only way he would build a tolerance for combat and a fixed mindset for battle. If pain was too much of a distraction he would be unable to execute his technique properly. When Hideki readied himself in his stance she charged right at him not allowing him to get comfortable. Given his brief display with Leaf Great Whirlwind she was certain his Lion's Combo will hurt despite her years of combat experience and enhanced body durability. It was a very powerful technique, after all, and if he was able to master it he would be leagues above Genin in his class.

She'd step within striking range as a straight fist fired off from her stance and targeted the boy's chin. Full contact would put stress on his jaw causing pain to the immediate area while rattling his brain. Her left hand followed up right after her right fist reached its destination, whether it missed him or not. Her left hand was balled just like her right with her rigid knuckles protruding through the stretched black leather of her gloves. Firing out her arm she'd place her second strike below Hideki's right rib cage targeting the liver while bringing her other arm back maintaining a solid guard. It was a natural weak spot that martial artist targeted. Inexperienced fighters struck any part of the torso not knowing its effective weak spots. Masuyo knew what parts of the body were susceptible to cause more pain or even subdue an opponent in a single hit.

Following the same procedure he arm retreated back before she'd follow up her combo with a simple roundhouse kick. It was wise to mix up your angles of attack when plausible. While Hideki was expecting upper body strikes her body suddenly changed stance as her arms dropped to her sides. And just in a blink of an eye her hips turned and right leg lifted off the earth as her shin attempted to heavily batter the side of Hideki's head. The moment she completed the kick she'd resume a stance the same as before raising both hands up into a low guard while keeping eyes fixed on the boy's location.

She was faster than before. That much was obvious in the instant she moved, unleashing just a bit more of her power upon the inexperienced genin. Her first strike was towards his jaw. He had began raising his right arm to defend himself, but he wasn't quite fast enough to dodge or block the attack in time. Her fist clipped the side of his jaw and sent pain shooting through his skull, but he had to remain focused. Adrenaline was pumping through his system. His heart was pounding.

Oxygen was flooding his brain, making him far more alert than normal. Right now he could fight harder, run faster, and jump higher than during any academy training excersize. The power of pain was great, and could be a huge asset when properly utilized. Her other fist went barreling towards his lower ribs, aimed right around his liver. He turned on his heel, raising his right leg up to stop a potential ankle twist.

Her fist would miss, but would get pulled back faster as she began turning. Her leg raised off the ground and came at him swinging, and it was aimed straight at his head. With the way he was facing it would hit him right in the face if he did nothing! Bending the one leg he was on, Hideki dropped to the ground again as Masuyos shin went right over his head just like the last roundhouse she had used on him earlier in the day.

She stepped back, taking that low defensive stance she had been using and he narrowed his eyes in thought and focus, unsure of how to continue. She was faster than him, more experienced than him. She'd be able to see any of his attacks coming. He had to think.

An idea came to his mind. He was a Shinobi. He had to be unpredictable. And so with his right hand he'd make a single seal. Dragon. And immediately a bright ball of flame would shoot at the ground between the two as Hideki closed his eyes, before the ball exploded in a blinding flash of light, though it would have no explosive force, just light. If Masuyo did not react, she would find herself completely blinded.

And if that opening presented itself Hideki would dash forwards after the light faded and opening his own eyes, aiming a solid kick at Masuyos stomach, specifically her diaphram. He hoped that he would be able to knock the wind out of her, opening her up to other techniques.
