He doubted she had made her own shopping just yet, and though the rule of his clan was to "only use what you made yourself", there were exceptions to the rule. If you created things and sold them for currency, as long as they would be used properly, that money could then be used outside the clan to cover for your own weaknesses. As long as your own effort was being put in, that was the only rule that had to be supported.
