That time was over, now. With all of the paperwork caught up no later than noon, this was the perfect day to resume the mild training he'd been engaging in for the last few years. Today would not be so mild, however, for he wished to review a great many techniques he'd long since mastered, but hadn't put to proper use in a very long time. It had been years since his last serious fight, and that was just a minor dispute in the village with a very troubled Jounin. Other than that, the overall peace brought about by the village and the veritable mountain of busywork associated with his position prevented him from engaging in much physical pleasantries.
The following contains only weapon sealing and Fuuinjutsu training:
- Spoiler:
- As his calm, onyx colored eyes carefully scanned each and every weapon that lay upon the grassy field, he considered the exact use of each in a heated battle. The kunai and shuriken were easy. He would simply employ a type of Fuuinjutsu to allow them to be easily accessible through the use of the mechanisms he would secure within the sleeve of his clothing -today, that happened to be the white Hokage robes with red kanji stitched down the center of the back. So, with that in mind, Kazuya picked up the mechanisms and held up his finger. A light blue flame appeared over the tip, a unique characteristic of the Finger Carving Seal, which he used to inscribe the kanji for Blade upon the storage portion of those mechanisms. This kanji was the centerpiece for the Summoning: Lightning Flash Blade Creation technique, which called upon his knowledge of the Unsealing Technique, a jutsu he'd used just minutes ago to call forth those weapons from their seal in his scroll.
With the sealing jutsu in place, Kazuya inserted the shuriken into one mechanism and the kunai into the other, so that he would always draw only one type of weapon from each arm. With a preloaded kunai in one and a shuriken in the other, it would just take a single activation of the mechanism to call their replacements from the seal, thereby providing Kazuya with easy access to a steady flow of projectiles, so long as those mechanisms were on his person.
Next, he looked to the other small projectiles, the senbon, the flash bombs, and the smoke bombs. Those would normally go into a hip pouch, but Kazuya found such methods of storage overbearing and inconvenient. Still, his belt seemed like a good place to hold them, even if through a Fuuinjutsu. Then, a thought crossed his mind, and he remembered a pair of black, finger-less gloves that a clothing designer had brought to his desk early in the morning. They had metal plates on the back of the hand, which seemed fairly useful, but it was the glove itself that caught Kazuya's fancy at the moment.
The Hokage pulled the gloves from his belt, where he'd tucked them away with intent to try them out. He'd never worn gloves before, but with the cloth covering his palms, he'd be able to plant more sealing jutsu there to allow easier access to those other projectiles. So Kazuya slipped the gloves on and inscribed a series of seals, burned into the cloth with a Finger Carving Seal so that only destroying the material could affect the seals. There were two sets of four, each one lining up to his four fingers such that touching them to his palm would trigger the seal, and set in such a way that touching higher on the palm would trigger a different set. The first set on both hands contained his ten senbon, and the second set contained either the flash bombs or the smoke bombs, depending on the hand. The first of these seals - those four under his index fingers, contained two of their items, whereas the rest only contained one.
Kazuya next took the steel wire in hand and sealed it within the portion of the glove covering the wrist of his left arm, so that he might easily be able to attach it to kunai by use of his right hand. The opposite would also be true with explosive tags, sealed into the same spot on the right glove. Next came the larger weapons, but they were fairly easy. Kazuya inscribed a line of seals along his dark leather belt, and though the blended in perfectly with the color of the material, he quickly memorized where each one was in relation to the positioning of the buckle. A katana was sealed on each side of his hips, so that they could be swung as soon as they were drawn, much like a samurai would use waist sheaths. The bo staff and the kama were each sealed in front of those, followed by the kusarigama and manriki. The tekken was sealed along the palm-side knuckles of his right hand, so that he might covertly slip them onto his left with but a wave of the hand. The Fuuma Shuriken went into the same place as the tekken, but on the other hand, and the rope went into a seal just left of his belt buckle.
Finally, Kazuya took the pills into his hand and stared at them for a while. The holster is where they would typically go, but his scroll filled it completely, and he could only think of a few places for them to go into a seal that would be highly convenient. He could use the sides of his gloves, so that a quick tap of the thumb would pull them out, or he could do the mouth...all it would take is a tap of his tongue and they'd already be in position to chew, but he'd have to carve a seal into...yeah, he went with the gloves, but just one. Three seals were placed along the lateral part of the index finger of the right glove, easily accessible to his right thumb, and the pills were put into them, each seal containing a different type.

With all of his possessions now sealed securely about his person, Kazuya tightened his finger-less gloves and readied himself for a quick warm-up. What he intended to practice today was a mixture of Taijutsu, Bukijutsu, and Ninjutsu, so he'd need a lot of flexibility and since it had been a little while, he needed to get his muscles warmed up first. It wouldn't do to have the Hokage sidelined by mere muscle strain, after all. He performed a series of stretches with a fluidity completely inhuman, then began series of vaults, jumps, and flips to ensure that his body was ready for any movement he could possibly engage in. Then, with his Hokage robe opened in the front and held together by a small red band, Kazuya entered a stance similar to the starting position of the Gokenryu, but with his feet wider apart as though preparing to lunge forward. He had no designated target, but he was eager to perform the many techniques all the same.
