[Undertaking the “Clean up the beach!” Mission]

Recently a bad storm had struck at the edge of Land of Water destroying a few trade ships amongst other things. It was bad enough that the storm damaged the economy and was gonna cost a small fortune to fix it. But now there’s been reports of ship parts washing ashore on Ota’s pristine beach. Unhappy about this the town council was, once the weather had calmed down enough to deal with this situation they requested to Kirigakure for someone to help clean up the wreckage on the beach. It was a simple task, for it was one even a Genin can do.

After a couple of days since the request was put up on the mission board, a lone Genin who honestly looked frail and weak decided he was to take the mission. It is a simple process of taking the paper down from the board and Asahi taking the mission over to the Mizukage. From there a stamp of approval was needed to seal the deal, and then Asahi quickly departed for Ota. It only took a matter of two days before Asahi arrived to the town. Once he arrived Asahi asked for simple directions to the town council and walked into the town hall where Asahi introduces himself as the participant of the request.

Once the formalities was over, Asahi got to business as he was shown what container the shipwrecked parts go which was on the eastern side of the beach. Asahi looked at the pieces as they varied in size. Some were large, others were small enough. So Asahi collected the torn rope that was washed onto the sand and collected pieces of the ship’s hull. Simply tying the torn rope into connected knots that is long enough to be considered as a 20 foot rope, and then more or less made a makeshift sled while using the remaining 10 foot rope to help drag it across the sand.

Asahi made quick work with the small pieces as he would collect a decent amount onto the sled, and when he accumulated enough wreckage Asahi would drag the sled over to the container and tosses the wreckage into the metal container. Asahi repeats the process until he clears the beach of the small pieces. Which takes up to 2 whole hours to complete, and then the fun part comes around. The big chunks of the hull are in the way, and sadly he’s only able to move one piece out of the beach at a time. Luckily there’s not many pieces, but still he couldn’t lift them and put it in the container so he sets them beside it. Once he was done with the large pieces Asahi lifts his makeshift sled and chucks it into the container as well and finally dust his hands off. His hands had bits of sand on them and his shoes was lightly caked in the wet sand. His aquamarine hair sticking to his brow as he took a deep breath.

After relaxing a bit, Asahi returned to the town hall and informed the council about his work. It only took 3 hours to complete, but when they inspected the beach they were strangely surprised a shrimp like him managed to get it done. Considering the mission was complete, the town council signed the paper that contained the mission’s details with their signatures to show that it is complete. Once that was done, Asahi makes another voyage towards his home village, Kirigakure, where he’ll be rewarded with the promised funds for the completion of this mission. He was tired from the physical labor, but even so the lad was pleased that he was able to prove once more that possessing knowledge is worth more than just strength.
