It is mainly a protection based fighting style and doesn’t rely on evasion. A skilled user with the shield can defend a small group of people from projectiles and ward off most physical attacks.

    Boosts Strength by +1 tier.
    Weaknesses:
    It is physically impossible to protect themselves against attacks that are meant to target areas. So if someone launches a Fireball for example at the user, sure the user can allow the shield to take the immediate impact, but because it is such an large attack the flames would just go around the shield and at the user.

Often this attack is used as a counter to achieve maximum effect, but otherwise this is to cause the opponent to stagger away. Creates some distance for you and gives you a breather from someone who has been hurling one too many attacks on you. Boosts your Strength by +1 tier.
    Weaknesses:
    Obviously if the opponent steps back outside of your reach then you’re out of luck. Proceeding to step forward when the opponent is expecting it would be overextending yourself and can leave yourself vulnerable to a nasty counter.

    A strong defense technique that tampers on the ninjutsu field. You pick a target within 15 meters of you or you can pick yourself as the target. A wall of multiple shields materialize within 5 meters around the target. It means to cover all sides including covering the view to the sky. The shields are copies of the true shield you possess, and they have a natural hardness of B rank. If the true shield holds a stronger grade, then this technique tries to duplicate that hardness by +1 advantage per tier higher than B.

    The number of shields that are able to be produced from this technique is at maximum of 5. One in front, one in left side, one in right side, one in rear side, and finally one above you.

    When these shields are struck it triggers an additional function. The attacked area releases a strong blast of air with mini sickle wind blades in the mix. Capable of warding projectiles and techniques at B rank or lower. At the same time, the sickles cuts into whoever or whatever struck it. This function exists due to the chakra judging the amount of damage it is taking. This function can be altered to where it only goes off when sustaining up to B rank attacks. Because this requires one hand on the shield, for those who are not already suffering from the 1 handed seal ability you will take a -1 tier Coordination. If you already have the UA then this won’t stack. For the select few who have the UA without the drawback then you won’t take this penalty.
    Weaknesses:
    The manifested shields are obviously made up of chakra, and despite the hardness if the wind blasts trigger then that shield(s) will dissipate. It doesn’t end the technique from one lost shield, but if triggered enough times either from multiple attacks or even AOE the shield wall will shatter. This dome of shields is not exactly impenetrable either. There are still small gaps usually where it is just big enough for a kunai or arrow to slip through. Granted this still requires a precise shot of not only it going through this small gap, but to also land a solid hit. Finally, once this function has been set when the Half Bird is formed it cannot be changed.

    For the most part this is pretty good.

    I think it would be a good idea to have a defined limit to how many shields it can generate when casted. Prehaps 5 since you said it can cover all sides and the area above you.

    It also needs an upkeep cost, but that can scale to the amount of shields that are actually active. Say 1 chakra per shield in play.

    Also keep in mind elmental affinity will still be in play for how well it can or can't block other attacks.

    That is correct. Bulwark Wall is actually meant to ward off physical attacks and other stuff that is not ninjutsu. But if someone launches a fireball technique at one of these shields then because of affinity even that would overpower these shields.

    The Akiha Ken was an infamous technique used by the Tohsaka as they previously achieved the infamous sword technique. Where if the opponent blocks the sword yet still somehow getting cuts along the cheek or clothes torn from seemingly nothing. On a greater scale the environment seems to be sundered and split apart by unseen forces.

    The truth of the matter is that the practitioner makes a strong variant of Chakra Flow by applying Fuuton Chakra along the blade. Due to the Fuuton properties there won’t be any physical changes on the weapon unlike the base form of Chakra Flow. At least not to most eyes since those who pay enough attention will see the chakra. Coating along the medium are many tiny-sized Fuuton sickles thus increasing the cutting edge of the weapon. When the user clashes and/or attacks with the medium it’ll release a few sickles of Fuuton in whatever direction the medium was moving. In an arc the sickles will spread out in that direction, but the most in terms of usage is 5 attacks per post since by the next post if it is still up the practitioner will have to ‘recharge’ the medium with more chakra. Hence the upkeep cost. Luckily the user has the option to not launch the nearly invisible sickles.
    Weaknesses:
    Must have a medium of some sort to channel into. As it is probably noticed, the amount of chakra put into the medium is what is keeping the sickles’ ability to function. So if launching the Fuuton chakra 5 times will result in no more chakra on the medium. Additionally there’s the element weakness as Fuuton is known to aid many other elements.

    Description:
    A bubble of deafening wind surrounds the user. The Fuuton Chakra makes the produced wind heavy and visible as light grey masses. Any physical and projectile flying at the bubble will be caught in the swirling winds. Causing these objects to be strongly wrenched from their trajectory and suddenly being carried by the shell in a spinning motion around the user. The more shurikens, kunai, etc. the better for the user for the final effect. At the end of the technique the rushing wind will expand outward in violent speeds that is equivalent to a force field of sorts. Sending any weaponry caught in the bubble flying in all directions at random as well as possibly slamming nearby opponents into objects or at least push them away. The range of the expansion is 10 meters.

    In terms of mechanics Wind’s Shell effectively renders most weaponry useless and catches any projectiles being thrown at the user. Projectiles moving at B-tier and below are rendered useless by the wind and thus warded off. Projectiles moving equivalent to B+ and higher will have difficulty on reaching its mark as the wind lowers the weapon by -2 tiers. Weapons that are being held on the other hand suffer -1 Tier in Coordination and if the wielder has below B-tier in Strength the winds will free the weapon from them. Effectively disarming them. Against Taijutsu on the other hand the -1 Coordination is converted to -1 Tier in Strength, but the opponent doesn’t suffer the risk of losing their weapon since it is literally their body.

    Additional Note: If the technique Akiha Ken is active on the turn Fuuton’s Shell is activated the activation cost is immediately halved. The cause is the Fuuton Chakra already molded onto the medium serves as a catalyst and thus it can quickly activate this defensive technique. Doing so however loses any benefit from the Akiha Ken after the technique takes place.
    Weaknesses:
    As this is meant to ward off weaponry and taijutsu practitioners it is not exactly help against most Ninjutsu. Fire will convert this shell into a bubble of fire that virtually incinerates the user while Lightning simply pierces through the shell. Then there’s the case of scenario where that one kunai or two had an explosive tag on it. Which could explode and effectively spread fire everywhere as the shell risks being engulfed in flame.

    Description:
    For aesthetic effect the blade will have a shine along the edge when the practitioner starts this technique. To put it simple the user steps close to the target within 5 meters. Within sword’s reach the practitioner slashes at the target twice. The first slash can be anything from horizontal, vertical, diagonal, etc. to even a thrust. The second attack however the position of the weapon is always swung upward to where the sword is pointing skyward. From there the secondary aesthetic effect occurs as it looks like the moon/sun is shining a sliver of its light through it.

    Simultaneous of the skyward arc of the weapon, the practitioner will slam a strong fist into the target’s stomach region. Potentially causing the target to double over or at least stagger from the force. Buying the practitioner enough time to initiate Amakurassha as s/he brings down their blade to deliver a devastating attack.

    Boosts Strength by 2 advantages and Coordination by 1 advantage.
    Weaknesses:
    Must pay the activation cost if the practitioner uses the Amakurassha.

    Description:
    Though no seals are required for this particular technique, the user still needs to say a little phrase that is more of a call-out phrase as the practitioner traces his/her finger along the medium. Virtually tracing the kanji Lion of Flames on the medium. The phrase is as follows, and yes the user must say these exact words.

    “I call upon the inner depths of my soul to this sacred treasure. Forge yourself into my image as you become reality and carve our paths together. Lion of Flames.”

    The medium that the user is holding will erupt in raging fire yet it does not harm the user or the environment. Emerging from this fire is, what can be referred to, a claymore that has the face of a calm lion with a pair of blue sapphires for eyes where the basket-hilted is located on the weapon. The weapon constantly emits a glow effectively lighting up dark locations into dim lighting within 5 meters. Shishi no Hono has the same hardness as Steel, yet to the user it doesn’t hold any weight to it other than what the medium had. The large blade extends 50 inches long and 2 inches wide. When the user wishes to dismiss the weapon he/she can will it to disappear and the medium will be back in view unharmed by this technique.
    Weaknesses:
    If disarmed or somehow the weapon is not in the user’s hands will result to automatic dismissal. Shishi no Hono must always be in the user’s hands to stay active. The weapon also follows the Hardness system so it is capable of being ‘broken’. Doing so however also results in automatic dismissal.

    Description:
    A bubble of deafening wind surrounds the user. The Fuuton Chakra makes the produced wind heavy and visible as light grey masses. Any physical and projectile flying at the bubble will be caught in the swirling winds. Causing these objects to be strongly wrenched from their trajectory and suddenly being carried by the shell in a spinning motion around the user. The more shurikens, kunai, etc. the better for the user for the final effect. At the end of the technique the rushing wind will expand outward in violent speeds that is equivalent to a force field of sorts. Sending any weaponry caught in the bubble flying in all directions at random as well as possibly slamming nearby opponents into objects or at least push them away. The range of the expansion is 10 meters.

    In terms of mechanics Wind’s Shell effectively renders most weaponry useless and catches any projectiles being thrown at the user. Projectiles moving at B-tier and below are rendered useless by the wind and thus warded off. Projectiles moving equivalent to B+ and higher will have difficulty on reaching its mark as the wind lowers the weapon by -2 tiers. Weapons that are being held on the other hand suffer -1 Tier in Coordination and if the wielder has below B-tier in Strength the winds will free the weapon from them. Effectively disarming them. Against Taijutsu on the other hand the -1 Coordination is converted to -1 Tier in Strength, but the opponent doesn’t suffer the risk of losing their weapon since it is literally their body.

    Additional Note: If the technique Akiha Ken is active on the turn Fuuton’s Shell is activated the activation cost is immediately halved. The cause is the Fuuton Chakra already molded onto the medium serves as a catalyst and thus it can quickly activate this defensive technique. Doing so however loses any benefit from the Akiha Ken after the technique takes place.
    Weaknesses:
    As this is meant to ward off weaponry and taijutsu practitioners it is not exactly help against most Ninjutsu. Fire will convert this shell into a bubble of fire that virtually incinerates the user while Lightning simply pierces through the shell. Then there’s the case of scenario where that one kunai or two had an explosive tag on it. Which could explode and effectively spread fire everywhere as the shell risks being engulfed in flame.

    For aesthetic effect the blade will have a shine along the edge when the practitioner starts this technique. To put it simple the user steps close to the target within 5 meters. Within sword’s reach the practitioner slashes at the target twice. The first slash can be anything from horizontal, vertical, diagonal, etc. to even a thrust. The second attack however the position of the weapon is always swung upward to where the sword is pointing skyward. From there the secondary aesthetic effect occurs as it looks like the moon/sun is shining a sliver of its light through it.

    Simultaneous of the skyward arc of the weapon, the practitioner will slam a strong fist into the target’s stomach region. Potentially causing the target to double over or at least stagger from the force. Buying the practitioner enough time to initiate Amakurassha as s/he brings down their blade to deliver a devastating attack.

    Boosts Strength by 2 advantages and Coordination by 1 advantage.

    Though no seals are required for this particular technique, the user still needs to say a little phrase that is more of a call-out phrase as the practitioner traces his/her finger along the medium. Virtually tracing the kanji Lion of Flames on the medium. The phrase is as follows, and yes the user must say these exact words.

    “I call upon the inner depths of my soul to this sacred treasure. Forge yourself into my image as you become reality and carve our paths together. Lion of Flames.”

    The medium that the user is holding will erupt in raging fire yet it does not harm the user or the environment. Emerging from this fire is, what can be referred to, a claymore that has the face of a calm lion with a pair of blue sapphires for eyes where the basket-hilted is located on the weapon. The weapon constantly emits a glow effectively lighting up dark locations into dim lighting within 5 meters. Shishi no Hono has the same hardness as Steel, yet to the user it doesn’t hold any weight to it other than what the medium had. The large blade extends 50 inches long and 2 inches wide. When the user wishes to dismiss the weapon he/she can will it to disappear and the medium will be back in view unharmed by this technique.
    Weaknesses:
    If disarmed or somehow the weapon is not in the user’s hands will result to automatic dismissal. Shishi no Hono must always be in the user’s hands to stay active. The weapon also follows the Hardness system so it is capable of being ‘broken’. Doing so however also results in automatic dismissal.

Where there is a breeze rustling the leaves is enough to seemingly fly through the air as the user rides on the current. Of course once you have caught the current the technique will carry you up to 100 meters, but once the wind slows to where it is nearly still you will start to descend. Luckily the descent is rather slow allowing 5 seconds at most for the wind pick back up and carry you off even further. It does wonders if it is raining and/or a windy day which makes traveling much easier.

    If the natural winds is traveling higher speed than 25 mph then this technique will receive a temporary + for every 5 mph over 25 mph.
    Weaknesses:
    Requires at least a 25 mph strong wind in order to work. If the user touches the ground or there isn’t enough wind to ride on then this technique won’t work and you’ll be wasting chakra.

    Isn't that because anyone with X-tier Speed wouldn't have Wind element or be using it? I mean if it is denied i'm fine with that. Just trying to create methods of using Fuuton for utility purposes.



    Edit (5/28/2018):
    My argument is that the X-tier Speed perk is done by pure physical effort traveling faster than anyone can possibly get except on special circumstances. In most cases anyone getting X-tier virtually has Mach Speed because they broke the sound barrier and hardly anyone can even perceive movement of that speed. Unless of course somebody has S-tier Perception, but even they would have difficulty on seeing that level of speed.

    What i'm going for is a cheaper version of Air Walking, but it does not require the amount of physical effort to achieve that effect because they're using the Fuuton chakra to support them. Additionally the people who are using this set of techs won't be moving at that speed other than their natural speed. Of course there are arguments about boosting the speed higher, but the Gentle Step follows the same mechanics as Water Surface Walking and Tree Climbing Practice. Only the user is applying Fuuton chakra as well.

    What I can do:
    Gentle Step: Increase the rank up to C and everything remains the same except for the cost as it'll be 3 on activation and 1 on upkeep.

    Gentle Descent: Increase the rank up to B and Cost changing accordingly

    Gentle Surf: Increase rank up to A and Cost changing accordingly.

    I see your point and I'm not saying the idea itself is wholesale denied just that it would need to be much stronger than D Rank. This means a C Rank activation cost and a D Rank upkeep minimum for the parent technique (which I assume is Gentle Step). There also needs to be maximum range on how far you can go. You can make it fairly long (100ish meters) but it cannot be an indefinite range.

    Gentle Surf also seems an awful lot like a flight which is another powerful ability that that requires a bit more balancing. Requiring a breeze is not a heavy condition as anyone can just specify there is a breeze enough to blow the trees to make this technique work, that in turn would give you the ability to fly 100 meters. That's too powerful. If you aren't keen on increasing the rank and its chakra cost, I'd suggest lower drastically lowering the range and height of the technique or putting a post limit on its usage.

    I did put the range on there, but it honestly varies on the user's Speed. Generally it is like a burst of movement along the air so in truth it'll last a whole second. So using Rin for example, he has a Speed of D-tier. He can only move 7 Meters within a second so he'll be able to cover that distance through the air within that second. However i will specify on the maximum range to medium range at most (50m).

    The Gentle Surf  is a bit too powerful I'll admit. When i stated breeze i honestly have no idea why i put that as a drawback. Instead i like to alter those words to where there must be strong winds present. Strong winds are generally products of storms or when there is a windy day that mostly blow strong winds. Basically in wind speed talk i'm wanting to put at least 10 MPH. Maybe 20 MPH, but i'm wanting it to be based on the wind speed hence the current which the user takes advantage of to cover more ground.

    Do this and increase the cost to C Rank activation, D Rank upkeep and it is approvable.

    Describing it as requiring 25 mph winds is good but you will have to either tone down the range or raise the rank/cost or put in some kind of post limit.

Of course once you have caught the current the technique will carry you up to 100 meters, but once the wind slows to where it is nearly still you will start to descend. Luckily the descent is rather slow allowing 5 seconds at most for the wind pick back up and carry you off even further. It does wonders if it is raining and/or a windy day which makes traveling much easier.

    If the natural winds is traveling higher speed than 25 mph then this technique will receive a temporary + for every 5 mph over 25 mph.
    Weaknesses:
    Requires at least a 25 mph strong wind in order to work. If the user touches the ground or there isn’t enough wind to ride on then this technique won’t work and you’ll be wasting chakra.

    Weaknesses:
    Cannot harm the affected targets. Rushing Gale lacks the wind power to deflect projectiles. If a fire is nearby such as a campfire or a lantern this technique ignites. In which case can inflict minor burning damage.

    Haze: A 2- debuff is a C rank in power debuff just by itself, so this tech would need to cost 5 rather than 3 in its current state. It also doesn't need anything in its Speed category since it relies on your speed rather than having its own. If you want to keep the cost the same then you'll need to put in a condition that if your Speed does not exceed your target's Perception, they will not receive the debuff. It also seems like this would be a constant upkeep type thing if you chose to use it consecutively, so please move the cost to the Upkeep category.

    Illusory Spin Kick: The illusion part of this would be regular chakra, not fuuton. This feels like two separate techniques to me honestly, one where you burst wind chakra to slow up an attack and then another where you flip over someone and leave afterimages behind you. Along with that stat boost and the debuff, there's no way you're getting this for 3. Please separate the technique into its proper halves and adjust costs for the stat booster to follow the stat boost and debuff rules here.

    Shield: This is ninjutsu. Chakra Flow is ninjutsu. Please adjust the skill needed accordingly. And it may either set your Constitution to B tier or it can give a 1 tier boost, it can't do both. Power also needs to be C tier please.

Additionally people with B Constitution equipped with armor equivalent to Steel or greater can survive from this technique with only a gash into their armor.

    Description:
    Similar process of the Windmill technique except that Rin developed a method to infuse the tool with fuuton chakra instead. The fuuton chakra does not extend the reach, but when the user twirls the scythe around their body it sends multiple fuuton sickles capable of barraging everything within the radius. Projectiles are deflected by the amount of sickles being produced and objects/people that are caught in this area will experience near invisible wind blades bombarding them with many cuts as they are being pushed back. To anyone who is outside of the radius it’ll appear to be a dome of grey wind as sickles can be barely seen by the naked eye.

    Objects/People who are within range sustain total to B rank damage from multiple cuts from the fuuton blades as they are being pushed equivalent to B-Strength outside of the radius. Should the objects/people hit an obstacle such as a wall for example they sustain another B rank damage from physical trauma due to the force behind put behind them.
    Weaknesses:
    Send a Katon that way and the user including everything still in the dome will sustain heavy damage. The dome will increase the Katon’s power by +1 tier and will definitely cover the dome’s radius plus some if the size of the Katon technique is bigger.

    • Harvest ~ Dropped the debuff equivalent to 2 minus. 1 in Coord, and 1 in Speed.
    • Windmill ~ The chakra extends the actual tool itself. It mainly extends the shaft itself, but the blade does slightly extend by a couple of inches.
    • Twin Crescent Moon ~ If the scythe is enchanted then the clone does not copy that effect. As for the properties of the item it should remain the same as the clones copy everything from equipment to even their own physical form. A shadow clone copying an enchantment though is a hard no from me.
    • Typhoon ~ That was an error on my part. I made a clarification that targets can only sustain a total of B rank amount of damage from the small cuts per post. Otherwise the individual wind blades only deal C rank damage and with how many there is the affected staying in the area in a post. Also the blades will be pushing the target with B tier strength as it was their primal design and the only reason why they're cutting is because of fuuton's nature to cut. | Alas i reduced the range by 5 meters so it now covers 20 meter radius vs the original 25 meters.

    Description:
    By kneading the fuuton chakra inside of the body the user absorbs the molded chakra into their body. Gaining the ability to fly through the air as well as controlling their velocity and mobility. The user's Speed affects how fast they actually move, but they should not move more than 150 meters per post. Truthfully the main strength about this technique is the user's freedom of movement.
    Weakness:
    Be warned not to get hit by a katon technique that damages the user higher than their Constitution. Not only can this disrupt the molding process, but it can risk causing the user to combust from the inside. Most times this leads to a “blood rain”.

    Description:
    By lacing the externalized futon chakra onto the selected tools, the user lifts up the tools like threads connecting to his fingers. Then with an audible gust of wind the user launches these tools at the indicated target(s). Multiple targets can be set, but no matter how many times these tools hit the targets only take 1 A rank damage. Tools affected by this style travel with speed equivalent to A-tier and each pack enough strength to be A-tier as well. Capable of deflecting opposing projectiles and even destroying these items. The amount of tools the user can manipulate depends on the user’s base Coordination. Note that if the user wishes to wield two tomahawks for example with B tier Coordination they can only wield up to 10 projectiles. Every 1 medium tool is equivalent to 10 projectiles.

    • B-Tier: 2 Medium-sized Tools and/or 20 projectiles.
    • A-Tier: 4 Medium-sized Tools and/or 40 projectiles.
    • S-Tier: 8 Medium-sized Tools and/or 80 projectiles.

    Weakness:
    Same flaws as Skyride, but with additional weaknesses. Tools manipulated at full force will automatically break upon impact if it is market quality or higher. Even B-Grade Hardness will break after a while. Additionally, the tools have a limited range as they cannot exceed past 50 meters around the user. The instant they do the tools lose all power behind it and most likely will be rendered useless. Attempting to lace chakra onto more tools than the user is allowed will result in nothing happens and the tools remain where they are until the user frees control of another.

    Description:
    A deadly technique where the user sheathes the kenjutsu weapon and then spends a good moment pouring large amounts of wind chakra into the scabbard. Signs of this amount of chakra occurs as the wind starts to pick up around the user and the weapon is heavily coated with a veil of pure pale blue chakra. The instant the user draws the sword they release a massive arc of wind chakra that reaches up to the sky as it slices into the earth and everything in front of the user. Capable of creating a fissure and even slicing into mountains. This arc is 50 meters tall, and is only a meter width. Even being outside of the arc's path phenomenons have been known to happen such as the overhead clouds split in two for example.
    Weaknesses:
    This technique takes a whole post to charge and has quite a window to interrupt the charge. By the start of the user's next post is when it can go off.
