    Clan History/Description:
    The Terumi clan is a small family that has kept to themselves over the years. While they are prominent in the land of waves, they never really had much pull when it came to politics, and liked to remain out of the conflict. They have existed for several years, being a main part of the mist village forces. The clan was founded by a small group of individuals who all belonged to the same family. They had the unique gift of combining two elemental affinities, water and fire, to create a new steam like element. To keep the bloodline in check they created the Terumi clan, which allowed the family to choose who obtained the ability. Throughout the years select families were allowed to wed into the clan, creating offspring who also had the bloodline skills. The current leader, Kagami Terumi, prefers to keep a low profile, wanting his clan to grow and remain strong, staying out of the drama between villages. While the clan focuses on tradition and honor, several members have joined the Mist village as shinobi, to better the lands with their skills and unique bloodline.

    Clan/Bloodline Traits & Characteristics:
    Although not predominant with everyone who possess the bloodline, most have been known to have very pale skin tones. The majority of members who are born with the bloodline also have very blue eyes.

    Bloodline Description & Abilities:
    Boil Release is an advanced nature transformation comprised of two elements; Fire Release and Water Release. The techniques of this nature are extremely corrosive and take on a gaseous form, often acting as a super-heated steam. It can quickly spread through an open area and, if inhaled, can destroy an opponent from both the inside and out.

    Those who posses the KKG are able to turn their chakra into steam like gas and can produce it from the pores on their bodies. Because of the hot nature of the gas, user's have a tolerance to boil release, being able to with stand all boil release techniques that is one rank lower than their own. They feel no effect from heat at a lower rank than themselves, heat at an equal rank to the user is halved in effectivness and heat at a higher rank is considered normal. They are immune to their own abilities from the boil release. Any other user of the Boil release blood line will treat effects of another user's steam at a rank lower than theirs.

    Due to exhaling and breathing in the boil element user's also have built up resistant mucus that lines the insides of their throat, lungs and other internal organs. This protects their insides not only from the gas they spew but also from other harmful things they may breath in. This gives them resistance to toxic vapors and poisons they may inhale at one rank lower than their own.

    Some can create vapor clouds with a controlled level of acidity, while others use simple heated steam to cause burning damage to those within range, or even use it as propulsion for enhanced physical combat. The water in the vapor conducts Raiton fairly easily, while being readily blocked by earth and actually being made hotter by Katon, but Fuuton is able to blow it away.

    Bloodline Limits & Drawbacks:
    Boil release, due to being a gas in its basic form, is weak against wind styles. It can be displaced, moved and even negated by wind based attacks. Even though the user of boil release is immune to their own effects, their allies are not. With gas being hard to control it is easy to afflict those who were not your target. This makes using boil release near allies or in crowded areas risky.

    The heat tolerance will need an equivalent weakness, especially with it being so poerwful. One rank resistance to other people's Futton may be acceptable, but what you have now affects Fire, Scorch, Lava, Blaze, Boil, Explosion, and possibly even Lightning and Storm. You'd have to be just as weak to as many other elements as you are strong against those. My suggestion is to drop the heat tolerance and replace it with universal Boil resistance of one rank.

    Also, be sure to note the following from the elements page. You can rewrite it as desired, so long as the information is included.
    Some create vapor clouds with a controlled level of acidity, while others use simple heated steam to cause burning damage to those within range, or even use it as propulsion for enhanced physical combat.     Are you saying they are immune to boil release techniques that are one rank lower than their ninja rank?

    I'm not sure what you mean by this.

    When you say no effect from heat, I assume you mean no effect from the heat of Boil Release techniques only and not other sources of heat such as Fire Release or Lava Release.

    Also this bloodline needs an experience amount. 500 Experience should be good enough. This means that you must pay a certain amount of experience before one can unlock and use their Boil Release bloodline.

Even though the user of boil release is immune to their own effects, their allies are not. With gas being hard to control it is easy to afflict those who were not your target. This makes using boil release near allies or in crowded areas risky. Costs 500 experience to unlock.

    Description: The user creates a cloud of mist which they release from their mouth. The mist is very acidic in nature, with the acidity of the mist being adjustable to the user's whims. This is represented by a change in the power of the technique, with costs being adjusted to the power currently chosen. The mist corrodes anything in contact with it, quickly if the user has increased the power of the technique. Anything with one tier less durability or Constitution will begin to dissolve on contact with the mist, taking 3 posts to strip all the flesh and most of the muscle from a human body and completely eat away inorganic objects. Every tier lower than that in comparison to the mist that they have reduces this post count by one post with 4 tiers lower meaning a person can be corroded to this point the post the technique is used should they get hit by it.

    This mist is powerful enough that it can even melt away chakra created defenses if the mist is acidic enough. At two tiers less in power than the defense in question, the acid will begin to eat away at the defense in question. The defense is reduced in power one tier per post it is exposed to the mist. When it is equal in power to the mist, it begins to falter and lets some of the mist through. This damages the target at the rate of 1 tier less in power than the mist currently is. At one tier less in power compared to the mist, the defense in question will melt away completely to leave the target fully exposed.


    Weaknesses: Same inherent weakness as all Boil Release techniques; strong winds. Keeping up a high power version of the technique can be very draining. Moving out of range before the mist hits you is also a good counter.

    Soo here is the notes on Boil from what me and Masuyo talked about:

    Change this "At two tiers less in power than the defense in question, the acid will begin to eat away at the defense in question." to this "At ONE TIER less in power than the defense in question, the acid will begin to eat away at the defense in question.".

    Upkeep barriers should corrode at a rate of 1 tier per two posts. The stationary/activated barriers can corrode at a rate of 1 tier per post.


    Barriers/Chakra based defenses derived from a Restricted ability corrode at a rate of 1 tier per three posts


    Boil Release Mist is not anchored to its present location and can be diffused by sufficient blowing force either generated by techniques, explosives, or other catalysts regardless of rank.

Keeping up a high power version of the technique can be very draining. Moving out of range before the mist hits you is also a good counter. There are certain chakra manifestations that Boil Release cannot dissolve (for example a fireball) while it may be able to affect certain non-solids (water and lava etc etc) it may not affect others (wind and fire etc etc). Generally manifestations that have a solid or semi-solid character such as a liquid will be dissolved but mere reactions such as fire or gas will unlikely to be dissolved by this particular Boil Release Technique.

    Weaknesses: Same inherent weakness as all Boil Release techniques; Wind Release as mentioned in the KKG drawback section.  Any catalyst of equal or greater rank than the mist being used is capable of generating forceful winds for dispersal (although the user may generate more). Keeping up a high power version of the technique can be very draining. Moving out of range before the mist hits you is also a good counter. There are certain chakra manifestations that Boil Release cannot dissolve (for example a fireball) while it may be able to affect certain non-solids (water and lava etc etc) it may not affect others (wind and fire etc etc). Generally manifestations that have a solid or semi-solid character such as a liquid will be dissolved but mere reactions such as fire or gas will unlikely to be dissolved by this particular Boil Release Technique.
