Ryuko's entrance caused a handful of heads to turn within the building. Normally as famous as she was only a few people would have recognized her and thought nothing of it, but Ryuko was one of the top shareholders in the company and was certainly someone to be viewed as an authority figure in the company despite not having real position within the company itself. The secretary's face lit up at Ryuko's presence as she mentioned the appointment she had.
Yes, of course! I will send for-"
From the rear of Ryuko echoed the sound of high heels audibly making their wearer's presence known. Her outfit was simple, and what was expected to be worn by a corporate entity. Black high heels, long transparent black stockings, a short black pencil skirt, white blouse, and a black business suit. Her hair was kept up in a ponytail, its length and volume impressive as it extended to his mid back. Her outfit was basic, yet the quality of clothing she wore, how it was fitted, and how it was neatly tailored to her body was enough to show she was wealthy and to be considered an executive within the business chain. Truth be told, Ayano did not care for the luxury and experience of being wealthy. The modest accommodations which were easily accessible were plenty enough for her. Instead, Ayano lived the way she did for social status. She knew people well and how bent they were over the little things. As a business owner if she lived anywhere less than that of an aristocrat, her and her business would be ridiculed. An inconvenience she personally did not care for, but could not afford. Reputation was important because society made it important. So here she was, wearing the best her money could buy.
But she did not let this get in the way of running her business. In fact, she still occasionally ran shifts as the head chef at her cafe when the time permitted. "Ms. Von Rose!" Ayano exclaimed, beckoning her to follow once her attention was grabbed. "Follow me to the meeting room, if you may." The clicking of her heels would resume as she paced at an almost quickened pace into the meeting room three rooms down from the hallway. Inside would be some standard accommodations. A long, mahogany rounded table was the largest feature in the room, which had several rather comfortable leather chairs on wheels. Along the longest part of the room was a whiteboard with some various colored markers on the railing, and the ever-so-important eraser. A couple decorative indoor plants rested at opposite corners of the room and an inviting yellow light lit the room, as opposed to the white lights which lit up the outside and lobby. It was a comfortable room, as it should be when guests would spends at most hours trapped inside discussing business.
At the far end of the table in front of a seat was a small stack of papers, a pitcher of iced water, and two glasses already filled with ice water. Ayano would wait for Ryuko to enter before shutting the door behind her and pacing her way to the seat with the papers before them. "Make yourself comfortable. So, what was it you wanted to discuss, Lady Ryuko?" Ayano said, taking a seat after Ryuko had. She folded her hands on the desk and looked at her directly maintaining forward eye contact, her charcoal gray eyes revealing their true value when appreciated.
