Do Your Goddamn Duty

When news of the Black Death's conquest of the Land of Hot Springs reached Shimiko, she was understandably pissed. This wasn't what she had in mind. She had half a mind to send the Tetsudashi his daughter's finger as punishment. Instead, she came to realize she could not fight a war on two fronts. Provoking Ken would only make an additional enemy that she didn't wish to content with. He also knew too much and if she took the time out of her busy schedule to silence him forever then she'd lose momentum on other key areas.

It appeared that Ken had no interest in subterfuge and infiltration. The man was a born conqueror. He could have easily been lying about his intentions but Shimiko figured it was also possible that he was trying to gain the Society's attention the only way he knew how. Honiko wasn't likely to take the bait and even if she was, such a heavy handed approach was not the hallmark of a good spy. He'd be found out and executed before he could be of any use to Kumo ANBU. Shimiko decided to change tactics. She penned a letter to him and sent it to the Land of Hot Springs.

Ken was sitting in his house when a bird appeared to arrive for him, this was naturally interesting as he had no clue anyone knew he was here. He did not exactly make a quiet entrance in this land however so it made sense. It was that spicy lass he had met the Jashinist, so now he just had to take over the land of rice. This was easy enough, he knew they had no chance to stop his attack and any attempt to resist would be futile. He did not mind this option, this was much more to his liking, he was not a subtle person he was much more of a conquerer and this was a much better mission for someone like him. He would take out a piece of paper and begin to write the young lass a letter, he wondered how much she really hated him he was sure a lot.

Letter to Shimiko:

Ken would exit his house as he would talk to the village elder and give Shimikos description as he was now going to be on his way to the land of rice. This was going to be fun and he hoped he could get word to Toonami to arrive there as well. He did not know why but she was his special person and he really did think fondly of her, maybe he was just ready to settle down and she was his most recent conquest. Either way, he figured she was perfect for someone like him, she didn't care about his past and he did not care about hers.
