The sun was already falling over the Western Horizon, golden hour--dusk. Standing at the gates of Sunagakure no Sato would be the young Jounin Azuma--the man standing with his arms crossed and leaned against the tall walls surrounding the entire village, awaiting for his client. His mission was simple, but risky. The person he'd be escorting tonight was a uprising Architect, a wealthy woman maybe only a year or two older then Azuma. Something like a mission to escort someone to another land may have been deemed boring by some overly eager Shinobi, but it didn't bother Azuma any. It was a simple mission, and should hopefully pose no risk. But still, they'd decided to travel under the cover of night, to not only escape the heat of the sun--but to also limit how easily they could be found by bandits or wannabe kidnappers.
It wasn't long, and the VIP herself would show up. The architect stepped to the gates of the village, a backpack on her back carrying what supplies she'd need on her time away. Azuma pushed himself off the wall and would see the woman approach him. "You my escort to the Land of Rivers? You match the description." "I am. We should probably get a move on." "Alright."--their exchange was brief, and it wasn't but a moment later the two of them would pass through the pathway leading between the walls, the defended gates of the village, before it opened up and shot them out into the Sunrise Desert.
The man, dressed in his outfit made by the fox-like female Inari, kept quiet as the two of them begun their journey into the desert. They had a fairly long way it go, it'd be a while. Luckily the person he was to escort didn't seem bothered by the stoic Shinobi. Azuma was in Mission made, keeping his eyes out--keeping his sensory up. He wanted the mission to go as smoothly as possible and would make sure that happened to the best of his ability. He was focused. A while passed, and the two traveling under the cover of night had made it a long way from the village--not even Okane's towering beacon over the village could be seen now...
