Description: This technique was developed as a training tool by Nariko, in order to get those that she doesn't think ready for the full technique used to the drain of chakra created by the Lightning Release Chakra Mode. This level of the technique provides a generic boost of a + in strength, and ++ in Speed and Coordination. While this technique doesn't provide the same defense against piercing jutsu as the other versions, the Lightning Chakra still does act as a defense against other jutsu, mitigating damage taken if surpassed.
Weaknesses: While using this technique, the user cannot use any other element except for Raiton. This extends to any technique ninjutsu or otherwise that requires the use of an element other than Raiton. The user may still use non-elemental ninjutsu as well as Yin or Yang Release based techniques along with Genjutsu, Fuuninjutsu, Sensory, and Summoning. Unlike the stronger versions of this technique, the Chakra Mode doesn't provide the same defense against piercing jutsu. When the majority of the user's body is submerged in water or the ground, this technique provides no bonuses at all.

Description: The user wraps their body in a layer of lightning chakra which, instead of being used offensively, is used to electrically stimulate their nervous system. The technique speeds up neural synapses reaction time, and pushes physical prowess to the absolute limit allowing for tremendous raw speed. The technique normally has two different levels of activation each visibly depicted by the users hair which stands up when the technique is activated to the fullest, although Nariko has purposely restricted the information on the limits of this technique, only providing access to the first level of the technique. Upon learning the full technique at the Raikage's discretion [or through someone that has the full technique at their disposal], this technique is fully replaced by the complete LRCM. The first level grants a generic boost of ++ to Constitution, Strength, and a tier to Coordination and Speed. Raiton techniques that normally have a piercing effect such as Chidori Sharp Spear are ineffective against even this level of the technique.
