Practical Training [Solo|Training]

Arriving at the training fields, Yumi was greeted by the sight of another Genin, a male in his late teens, probably seventeen years of age, standing six feet tall. The boy wore a black mask over his entire face and a standard kiri uniform. The Genin didn't say much, just held out the request poster, most likely asking if Yumi was the requestor. With a nod, Yumi confirmed his suspicions. The male stood a few metres from yumi, standing still most likely waiting for the other Genin to start. The poster illustrated that he was going to be used as a training dummy. Without a word, Yumi got stuck into it, pulling out their little book of illusions, turning the pages to the newer section where dozens of notes were written down, with various ideas Yumi was thinking of trying. The illusionist had been practising the moulding of the techniques and even the casting but hadn't yet used them on someone so they weren't sure just how well they would go.

Clearing their throat, Yumi pocketed the book and began forming hand seals Rat, Dog, Ox, Tiger, before taking a deep breath. Chakra surged forward locking onto the other Genin and Yumi parted their lips, expelling a small fireball that shot towards him. The fireball raced towards the teenager male. whose eyes widened at the sight of it. The male jumped back as the fireball hit where he had been standing only to erupt into a giant firestorm that spread forth over twenty metres, everything in its path, tearing the ground asunder.

Yumi didn't finish them as their hands came together forming the dragon than ram seal. Breathing in starting the next illusion, before Yumi breathed out, launching a compressed tornado-like mass. The compressed projectile shot into the firestorm and erupted, creating a ten-metre range blast with powerful wind gales. The other genin raised their arms to shield themselves for the incoming blast, but when it reached there was no pain, making them pause in question. The illusion, Yumi, clapped their hands together and both the wind blast and firestorm vanished. These two techniques were apart of a new form of illusions Yumi had created, the illusion of art to mimic known Ninjutsu, in this case, the Fuuton: Atsugai and Katon: Zukokku, both were B rank techniques that used a lot of chakra, but being modified for illusions meant they required only a tenth of the chakra the actual techniques used.

The reason, Yumi was creating these kinds of techniques was to mislead the enemy. What made it even more ingenious, Yumi planned to later even learn one or two actual elemental Ninjutsu that could be hidden inside of these illusions to help increase their effectiveness. Yumi was all about misleading their enemy.

Yumi continued the assault, by launching their tiny body forward, charging towards the other Genin. The distance between them had been thirty metres but rapidly closed to fifteen. Once in a fifteen-metre range, Yumi clapped their hands together, locked onto the enemy while using chakra to enhance the sound of the clap. The clap acted as a sound-based trigger in order to cast this new illusion. At the same time, the opening of one's mouth could act as a visual trigger, using two triggers to cast this illusion to make it even stronger. Lightning began to emit itself from Yumi's mouth, the lightning was so bright it blinded the training buddy, making him raise an arm to block it out. Lightning shot forward at high speed in the shape of a deadly spear. The lightning spear raced towards the Genin with the intent to pierce through his every fibre. The Genin jumped to the side, avoiding the incoming attack. The lightning continued on seeming to crash into a nearby rock and turn it into dust, before piercing through a tree leaving a wide hole.

Yumi didn't give him any time to think as the gap between them closed again to ten metres. The illusion brought their hands together forming a snake seal, before extending them air, thrusting it forward at their training parter. The extending of the arm acted as the trigger, once seen the illusion was cast as chakra extended out into the air like an invisible web to trap the foe within its confines. Yumi's right sleeve ruffled before five large and what appeared to be venomous snakes shot out of their sleeve. The snakes were five coastal taipans that lived off the coasts of Kiri and were known for their deadly venom.

The five snakes hissed violently, as they shot through the air. Each snake was large enough to devour a small child with ease. In the male genin's eyes, it seemed as if this tiny lolita was some kind of snake summoner and it frightened him even more. The snakes crossed the boundary jaws open wide, fangs dripping with Deadly Venom. the male began to weave and duck trying to avoid the incoming snakes, but the five deadly coastal taipans overcame him, swarming the boy as they bit into his arms, chest and legs. The genin began to panic thinking he had been injected with deadly poison and now feared for his life.

With a wave of Yumi's left hand, the snakes vanished, as did their bite marks. The rock that had been blown apart reappeared as if it had never been touched and the hole in the tree no longer existed. It was all part of an illusion Yumi had crafted, mimicking the Raiton: Gian and Sen'ei Jashu Ninjutsu techniques.

Yumi brought their hands together in the shape of the dragon hand seal, quickly starting up a fifth technique. Water molecules began to gather around Yumi as the illusion took place. With the forming of the hand seal, the medic had long since locked onto the male genin trapping him in the illusion that was forming. The molecules came together forming three long drills of water that spun dangerously in the air around Yumi, catching the boy off guard. The other Genin had become aware that his opponent specialised in the art of Illusions, something he was lacking in. While he would identify he was in an illusion the boy lacked the ability to break free of it, a dangerous weakness when facing Yumi. The illusion didn't give him a chance to think as the three drills shot forward attacking over a three hundred and sixty-degree radius, one from above, one from the left and one from the right. the three spinning water drills moved on an arch towards him intending to impale the other genin.

Yumi was far from finished as hands came together forming the dragon and tiger hand seals. Breathing in Yumi activated the trigger, locking onto the boy to affect him. Yumi then exhaled launching a stream of bright red flames that came together in the shape of a giant fireball. The fireball raced forward joining the spinning drills. The male Genin avoided the incoming drills, which dispersed on impact with the groundbreaking the illusion. The fireball engulfed him but being an illusion no pain was felt. This had mimicked another two techniques the Katon: Goukakyuu and Suiton: Suigaden. Yumi, of course, wasn't done with that as they had another technique up their sleeve to try out, but first, after a long chain of hand seals, Yumi expelled another deadly wave of flames.

This was the Katon: Goukakyuu illusion version again, but instead of fired as a fireball it was released as a long stream of flames. The Goukakyuu could be used as a projectile or a flamethrower. The stream of flames spread out covering a wide area, consuming everything in their path crossing a twenty-five-metre radius. With the flames distracting, Yumi formed the Ram, Board and bird sells before slamming their palms on the ground. A summoning array spread out and a large cloud of smoke engulfed Yumi. Once cleared, two puppets stood in front of Yumi, one with a redhead wielding two katana, the other had a bluehead and wore a pair of gauntlets. The puppet play illusion to mimic a puppet user. Chakra strings shot out from Yumi's fingers attaching to the puppeets.

The two puppets charged in to attack the boy. The boy couldn't see through the illusion and didn't know if it was fake or real. With no choice he began to dodge, drawing a sword and fought back. The three clashed with the puppets gaining the upper hand. Weapons collided as a gauntlet slammed into his chest. The boy came to a halt feeling no pain. An illusion. Yumi broke the illusion and bid good day to him, leaving as they had achieved sudden enlightenment.
