Icy Get-Together (Yuki)

An open invite for members of the Yuki clan to Kiri's training grounds? What was this all about? Either someone had some sort of grudge or bad decision making when it came to get-togethers. Either way, Kazumi was too curious not to check it out at the very least. Whatever the case may be, she decided to go with her gear. If it was a desperate trap, wouldn't be unarmed. If it turned out to be the weirdest family gathering, it wouldn't matter too much still. Yuki clansmen walked around with their equipment all the time, waiting for the chance to jump into any action that might break out.

She made her way out to the training grounds, spotting the male. Though, perhaps he'd notice her first rather than the reverse. She made no attempt to hide, strolling up to the brunette, her right hand resting on the end of her ninjatō's hilt. She'd stop two arm's lengths away from him unless spoken to before or otherwise stopped. Either way, she'd look at him with a slight tilt of her head.

"Sir?"

Our Kekkei Genkai? This man must be a Yuki as well, Kazumi thought. Still, this seemed like a weird way to set up a family reunion, and an ineffective one at that, seeing as she was the only one to show up. On that note, the girl's head turned to scan the training grounds. Was she really the only other one to come? The clan wasn't dead, she knew that for sure. But was there really no one else even slightly curious about what was going on? Why someone would ask for as many Yuki that wanted to to gather in one spot? It made the girl scratch her head, but she supposed she had her answer. Just her.

"I guess everyone's just busy today..." Kazumi looked back to the brunette, trying to excuse so many of her family's collective absence. Though, as he'd bring up his intentions behind inviting her as well as many others out here, she'd give a nod as her answer before holding up a hand at about chest level. In her palm, air would distort ever so slightly, a spiraling breeze, unable to be felt, but seen by a keen eye.

"Wind."

Kazumi watched the male perform his examples with a thoughtful expression, her hand gingerly gripping the tip of her chin with a curled finger and a thumb. This guy…was kind of weird, she thought. Without introducing himself, she took it upon himself to train a girl who he had just met. All she knew about him was that he might be another Yuki. He spoke as if he was, but she couldn’t quite recall seeing him around the compound. The two hadn’t even exchanged names and yet the brunette was taking it upon himself to teach her techniques to expand her arsenal.

Well, perhaps she could work out those formalities and questions later. For now, the male wanted her to repeat what he had just done with the technique. Normally, she tried to get a technique’s pattern of handseals before actually attempting it. But she felt that the brunette probably wouldn’t like waiting around for her to do that. She’d simply repeat the seals he made, albeit somewhat slowly as she dug through her memory for exactly which ones he made. After doing so, she’d clap her hands together in front of her chest and hold them together.

She’d focus her chakra into her stomach, holding it there as she gathered more and more, kneading it into a light and fluffy form. Once she felt that she had gathered enough, she’d let the energy flow through her body and dropping her hands as she prepared to take off in a sprint. Once she felt it spread throughout her person from head to toe, she’d allow it to release in a burst, suddenly darting towards the Kage. It felt like someone or something was right behind her, pushing her forward as she ran. She felt so fast! Almost too fast even, as she found herself having to desperately stop herself, skidding across the dirt by the soles of her shoes. Despite her effort, she’d still slide into where the male stood, bumping into him unless he were to move.

“Ah, sorry!” she’d quickly exclaim. It wouldn’t be a harsh crash, at most, like bumping shoulders with someone walking towards you in a hallway. Nonetheless, Kazumi would anxiously return to the exercise. She’d turn away from the brunette and look towards a tree. That should work just fine, she thought. Once again, the Yuki formed the hand seals for the technique, clapping her hands together for a brief moment before reaching down to her right thigh with her right hand. She slipped her fingers into the pouch strapped to her outer thigh and pull from it three senbon that she held in between her fingers. She’d throw the projectiles towards the trunk of the tree, the senbon traveling painfully slow as she would. Meanwhile, she’d gather chakra in her stomach once more and knead it into the light and fluffy form once more before allowing it to travel upwards.

The girl’s chest puffed outward before she’d forcibly exhale a gust of wind that followed the same path as the senbon. The current would pick up the needles, carrying them with it towards the tree’s trunk and subsequently increasing their lackluster speed to match its own. The gust of wind would hit the tree with a dull thud, the needles being driven into its wood at the same time. With her display finished, she’d look up towards the other Yuki, taking deep and exhausted breathes as she’d speak.

“How was that?” she’d ask. She was feeling somewhat tired already. Just how much chakra did she dump into doing just two of those? She wasn’t sure she could do much more of that without taking a pill or two. She really didn’t want to have to eat another one of those pills. They literally tasted like dirt and sand, and she only brought so many of them with her anyway.

Takeo peers at the female in silence as she demonstrates the speed-enhancing variation of the Gale Palm technique. He extends his hand out to press upon her shoulder -- mostly just to slow her down at that point in time. From that point he watches her demonstration of the more offensive version of the technique. For the most part, she had a good grasp on the element overall, so that was impressive to see, especially as she utilizes it for the senbon. He mostly observes her reservoir, making sure that she didn't burn out too soon for him to continue training her at that point in time.

Once she's done and inquires about how she did, he offers a curt nod. "Perfect." He states, before extending his arm out before his frame at that point in time. Wind chakra channels into his palm and in a single swing, he manifests numerous blades of wind from that single wind-infused swing. They culminate in the form of one potent blade of whistling wind, careening forward at incredible speeds to slice right through the tree like butter.

"I'll leave you with that technique. It's as simple as infusing your hand with wind and swinging it to form the blades of wind. Try not to incapacitate yourself -- you've only got about six shots at doing this as it stands with your reserves." He remarks, still actively sensing her reservoir. It's at that point that he turns on his heel and begins to walk away in silence, taking it easy as he exits the vicinity and leaves her to her own devices.

"Feel free to seek me out if you want more training."
