Time is of the Essence

Satomi flicked the sweat daring to go into his eye by shaking his head lightly. His focus had to be absolute. There was two Anbu-Chuunins in front of him with their weapons of choice drawn. One had a simple Kunai, the other a sword. Called forth for training exercises. It was imperative that Satomi learn the arts of his village. They were to soon mount an assault, and Satomi's knowledge was lacking. Now given rights to learn Kinjutsu, there would be no clan, no village, who could stand in his way.

But first...Satomi made one seal with his hand. The two Anbu members flinched, not sure what was going to happen and how. Suddenly, there was a unanimous cackle of small 'poofs' as a hundred shadow clones burst into existence. Each of them aligned in a row to face the Anbu. They were understandably shocked. Never having seen so many Shadow Clones at once. The technique itself was common, but not on a scale like this.

The real Satomi stepped forward and said, "You accepted the challenge of facing the Anbu Captain. Lets see if you have what it takes." They both nodded understanding the large mountain in front of them, but it was supposed to be conquerable. The two attacked by charging Sato and the clone company.

Sato only sent ten to fight them. Keeping his concentration focused he willed his clones to dodge and to fight the Anbu Chuunin's without dealing them major damage. The Sato clones deflected their initial attacks and proceeded to beat them down. Throwing punches and kicks to their abdomen. They managed to destroy three of his clones before succumbing to the rest. After both receiving a hard kick to the stomach they went flying backwards into the training grounds.

The Uchiha only looked at them, "That was without Sharingan. Lets try this again."


[Learned Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu – Multiple Shadow Clone Technique - 310/250]

"That was some technique Satomi-sensei." They were shocked at his technique but unfazed by the results of Satomi's kinjutsu. The arts of the village were his to train.

"Maybe its our turn to show you something."

Satomi's eyebrow raised. "Oh really?" At that moment the Captain released the hold on all of the shadow clones. A simultaneous poof could be seen as they all disappeared. Which just left Sato and the two Anbu ninja. He folded his arms in amusement. He would have to put their skills to the test as well.

"Send me two A rank Katon jutsus into the sky. Show me you have the power to do it. And I will show you something amazing."

They both nodded. "Yes Satomi-sensei."

The two of them in unison began to perform a series of handsigns, they were fast however the sequence itself was long. They both stopped their handsigns and were both holding to the tiger sign. They kneaded their chakra into flames and held a hand to their mouth to funnel it. "Fire Dragon Flame Bullet!" There was a swirl of chakra that burst into flames, and it took on the shape and ferocity of a dragon. It was genuine looking in every aspect, both dragons were directed to point upwards. The double dragons reared its heads and blasted off heading towards the sky.

They moved at an even pace so it was very noticeable to see going into the sky. They torched the sky was they both exploded, blowing the clouds away and creating large ball of fire to spread out. The effects were something to look at and admire. But to those who faced it would be facing fear.

Satomi waited for a few before he could see the smoke from the fire jutsus explosion dissipate. The clouds began to come back, more fierce and much bigger than before. There was a lightning bolt that shot across the sky after they heard the thunder. The two attacks had created a thunderstorm. The Anbu shinobi were even impressed with their own handy work. But none saw Satomi raise his hand into the air.

Concentrating his own chakra as a conduit or rod. There was a bolt of lightning great attracted to it and instead of shooting off to wherever it would usually go. It was now being controlled and directed by Satomi. The bolt of lighning shot forward and began to take on a form of something monstrous. The two Anbu members before him were watching now and could not fathom exactly what they were looking at.

Satomi brought his hand down directing the beast in the form of Kirin to the ground 100 meters away. The Kirin lightning bolt shot past in the blink of an eye. There was no way either one of them would able to spot the bolt. It hit the ground and caused an explosion that rocked the very foundation of the training grounds. The explosion spread almost thirty meters in diameter. Covering a wide radius of pure destruction. Easily able to destroy an entire building an the surrounding block. Then a human would be disintegrated. Satomi turned back around to say, "Told you I'd show you something."

Learned Kirin (413/350)

"You both are now dismissed." Begrudgingly the two ninjas actually now wanted to stay. To see more displays of the Captains strength. But this next part of his training did not require them. Also they were already judged on their performance. He would see to it that they were vetted to be considered Jounin. With that level of mastery over the Fire release technique was something to be looked into. When the two left, it was Satomi who was alone to concentrate on his thoughts. He knew he would eventually need to learn the jutsus handed down to be in his care to protect the village. He was most interested in the handling of the bijuu.

Their neighboring villages were no doubt getting their hands on them as well. In his approach to furthering the power of the village, he needed to be able to capture bijuu. He would of course accept the power for himself. The Uchiha were fit to control such power. The irony of that statement would haunt him later. He raised his right hand to and looked at his open palm. He remembered the seal formations after looking at the Kinjutsu scroll. His access allowed him to see all kinjutsu techniques. Some were to horrible to learn, but he knew that he must. For the sake of the village they were there for its protection and secrecy.

Satomi flashed a large amount of chakra into his hand. It began to glow and a seal formed on it. The Four Symbols seal, it was powerful enough to displace a bijuu or some other dangerous spirit into a place of his choosing. He had now learned how to seal a bijuu. This power came with him being a prodigy but not he had earned this right through skill alone. Now he would be able to face a bijuu if it needed to be.
