Appearance:
A 5'7" young man with a less-then-average build for his age, a rather thin figure as a result of his bloodline. He has a blue strand that goes towards the right side of his face, with the remaining entirety of his hair being long black hair which is neatly braided with two hair ties, one at the start of the braided tail which is then let loose with a smaller hair tie at the end of it. The most notable aspect about Natsu's appearance is his draconic scaling which covers the entirety of his left arm up to his shoulder, along with a few scales around his left eye, making it crimson red. This doesn't give any benefits and is purely aesthetic. Aside from this, there's nothing else to note about Natsu appearance wise.
History:
Natsu's mother came to Kirigakure, who's own history was untold but she came to Kirigakure in hopes of starting a new life, when prompted about her old life, she only said that the life she had before Kirigakure was just an entirely "bad chapter" and she did indeed find happiness in Kirigakure, finding a man she loved and they were rather happy together, getting married and bearing a son together who they named Natsu.
Natsu spent a lot of his much younger youth bedridden, as a result of his bloodline which came from his mother, but during most of his times in bed, his mother would rarely leave his side and told him many stories, even teaching him some ways of life, homeschooling Natsu in a way to be humble and kind to others.
Eventually, he grew much better and adapted to the curse of his bloodline, while it still remained, it wasn't as bad as needing to be in bed almost every day and when old enough, officially began his life by being at the academy for a few years, when he tried to make friends, it was an effort launched back at him for his different appearance and odd optimistic viewpoint. He tried to stay true to it despite being ridiculed and picked on by others, but constant years of it tended to leave a mental scar that broke away everything he believed in, especially since he didn't want to share what happened at the academy back home to his parents since he was too embarrassed to open up about it.
He learned early on to depend on himself, the treatment of others forced him to become cold and stoic early on to focus on his own studies, to overcome the weakness of his bloodline and to become a strong shinobi of Kirigakure. He decided that the luxury of friends is just a weakness, and can only gain some form of respect by getting undeniable results and achievements, this attitude of his eventually led him to graduating the academy, effectively becoming a Genin and beginning his path as a shinobi.
Personality:
Natsu is a stoic, level-headed yet bold person. He's been ridiculed and picked on for the way he looked, being isolated from having the luxury of a social life early on. He luckily grew up with loving parents and they instilled a moral compass into the young man, but being sheltered early on left him with optimistic ideals and a caring attitude that were simply too naive for the world and he learned the hard way at the academy that such views wouldn't be welcome in the world of shinobi. He never opened up about these problems with his parents and this grew trust issues of other people later on, becoming a disappointed idealist and becoming stoic as a result. He tends to treat people with a cold attitude, sometimes being outright inappropriate or selfish where he believes there's nothing wrong with the way he acts.
Even with friends and family, he might be a bit more considerate but he stills keeps his thoughts to himself, not really sharing what he feels as he doesn't consider his opinions important unless it's necessary to share them. He still has the inherent belief that people can be good and there's an untold kindness in the world, but this is more so something that lies in the back of his head and not a change that he really promotes himself, but the slightest hints of human kindness gives a smile to the boys face.
