He shrugged. “I guess that’d work.” He said, before frowning and shaking his head. “I’ll probably just ruined it.” he grumbled. Walking over and following Satori. The trees were getting a little bit thicker now, since they were leaving the coastline. He glanced at the water as he gave an explanation to the netting. He didn’t want it TOO far, or else the arrows might get snagged on something else and he’ll lose some anyway. “So… A couple of dozen meters from the spot, or something? What if the fish that aren’t dead try to bit through it?”

He sighed, then reached into his pouch. He rummaged around, then pulled out a lump of wire. It was a little bit tangled form him putting it in carelessly. He huffed, then strung up his bow and put it over his shoulder, and began to untangle the wire. “I guess that’s a good idea. And any that miss I can just pull out.” he said. That way, he’s even more unlikely to lose an arrow.

“This should be interesting, at least.”

As they came to a halt near the calmer areas of the water, Satori let out a low hum of approval at Tin's assessment. The comment on the fish trying to bite through it caused Satori to shake his head.

"If that's what happens I'll just deal with the fish manually. I doubt it will, though. They won't try to dart downstream they'll take cover more likely if you miss or ping off their armor," As he explained this he then glanced over at Tin as he sighed. Chuckling softly, so that was a yes but he'd probably just shoved it somewhere. Stretching, he glanced around himself for a moment before grasping the net and leaning down. Binding it to a large log carefully before shoving the bottom end into the water and grabbing a rock to hold it down there as well.

From there he began to carefully unwind it, crossing across the water casually as he walked on the surface until the net spanned the entire river. Securing it on the opposite side before walking out to stand on the surface of the waters center as he glanced up at Tin while the teen prepared. Waiting for him to tell him when he was ready.

“Right.” Tin said, glancing down the river as he said his plan. He shrugs at them. “I guess they’re supposed to be smart, for fish.” He reached over and took one of his arrows, then began to tie one end of the wire just under the broadhead of one of his arrows. He pauses, then puts them at the very end, only to find the feathers are in the way. He grumbles to himself as he puts it back underneath the broadhead part. He then ties the other end to his bow. “This should work.” He mutters, inspecting it.

He watched as Satori set up the net, fidgeting with his bow and arrow. He had to loop the wire over himself in order to keep it from tripping over his feet, or getting tangled again. At least it was lightweight, it wouldn’t mess with his aim too much. Once he was ready, he’d unloop the wire and get ready to shoot armoured Angry Fish.

“Okay, I’m ready.” he said, nocking the bow and pulling on it gently, getting a feel for the string. He’d then walk along, just away from the river’s edge, keeping an eye out for any particular fishy shapes that may be around.

Post by Satori Ryuutei Sun Apr 14, 2019 4:33 pm

Once Tin gave the go-ahead, Satori suddenly disappeared into the water. Falling through the surface as if he was sucked up by some foreign sinkhole. A few moments later, suddenly an explosion would ripple across the surface of the water and fish, turtles, ducks and more would panick. Flying in all directions as Satori burst out of the water to land lightly on the shore. Idly brushing the water from his face.

"They'll be panicking for a bit, but once the surface of the water calms keep a close eye out for it," Satori stated simply as he flicked the droplets of water from the tips of his fingers. Glancing back at the ripples as they began to slowly calm.

The goal had been to shake up the petri dish, as it were. To force the fish into activity due to the sudden influx of panicking prey floating in every direction. A predator wouldn't miss the opportunity, and sure enough, Satori spotted the movement. It was difficult to make out, but the silver-plates on its back gave it away despite the brown-blue coloration of the rest of its body.

"Tin," he stated simply, pointing at the area and from there, leaving it to the teen. Perhaps he'd even begin finding them on his own as well, the improvement would be significant if so.

Tin actually felt a little stab of panic as Satori disappeared into the rapids, though he let out a small grunt as he reappeared after an explosion. He rose an eyebrow as Satori explained to him about the fish and turtles and so forth. So he was just rustling up the inhabitants? He shrugged, and moved ahead, keeping an eye out for angry looking shadows in the water.

There was a fair amount of creatures about there. He looked at all of the shapes fluttering around, in a state of panic. He guessed there was some kind of logic to it, he just had to figure out what it was. So many other fish would make it harder for him to get the ones that he’s supposed to get. It’ll be annoying, probably.

Satori soon pointed one out to him. He squinted at it. But now he knew what to look for. It had silver plates on the back, and was brown-blue at the rest. It looked pretty angry. He shrugged, and drew the strings back, his arrow already nocked. He kept both eyes open, aiming carefully for the fish. He maneuverer his bow so it was pointed just slightly ahead of the creature.

He took breath, then loosed, sending an arrow careening toward the predator, now prey. It splashed into the water. He craned his head to see if it had hit. He had was the upside. The downside was that it didn’t particularly kill the fish. In fact, it just scraped its underbelly. He cursed, drawing back his arrow hurriedly. Once he got it back, he nocked it.

It smelt a little from the river, but that didn’t really matter. He looked for his prey again, and found it. It was easier to find, now that it was bleeding, leaving a trail for him to see. He moved to an easier spot, and drew his bow back again. He found the original position of the bow, then moved it up a little. Then let loose. This time, it thudded deep into his midsection. Second time was the charm, it seemed. He let out a breath, then tried pulling it toward him with the wire.

Fishing Trip [Private] - Page 2 Empty Re: Fishing Trip [Private]

Post by Satori Ryuutei Sun Apr 14, 2019 5:06 pm

It didn't take Tin long to locate the fish once he'd pointed it out, and Satori busied himself by wringing out his hair as the teen shot his arrow once, and nicked it. Satori grinned. That was quite a bit better than he'd anticipated in all honesty. Proud of the difference, he would shift his grip a bit and flick the last of the water away before watching him hurriedly pull it back.

As he'd expected, he had keen eyes. The moment that he focused, and truly narrowed his vision, the teen hit his target near-perfectly despite his inexperienced with the bow, hunting, dealing with water resistance and hindered view from the reflections. It was quite impressive. Satori had taken weeks of practice to get the hang of spear-fishing in the water. It was completely different from hunting on land.

Proud of the accomplishment even if Tin had no idea, Satori watched him begin to try and reel the creature in. But it was large, at least four feet long and quite beefy all things considered. It was less pulling the fish in, and more making sure it couldn't get away while slowly forcing it to bleed out. Tin would manage it, eventually with his new stamina.

But it would take a while, and the fish would take a bit to bleed out atop that. So Satori assisted. The large man stepping forward and grasping the string firmly before drawing the fish in with a long, slow pull the drug it through the water against it's desperate squirming.

Satori moved toward the shore, one hand on the steel wire as they went until it was in the shallows. It snapped at him, and long teeth caught the light. Satori ignored it, and his claws snapped downward. Driving into the beast's skull directly between the joint that connected it to the spine. The snap was loud and sudden as the fish completely halted all movements.

Grunting, he flicked the blood from his fingers and lifted the fish up. Carefully removing the arrow from the creature's side and holding it up by the gills for Tin to inspect if he wished.

"Excellent shot, especially considering your lack of expirence. You're definitely a natural with that thing."

Tin tugged and pulled with the wire. It was big. Very big. He couldn’t believe how big it was, nor that they were expected to carry it back. “We should’ve gotten a cart.” He grumbled, planting his feet as it was dragged along the river, stopped only by an arrow imbedded in it. He dragged and pulled, it was reeling in bit by bit. Centimetre by centimetre. It took a fair amount of his strength, but with Satori’s help he managed to eventually pull it onto land. He took a peer at it. It was ugly as heck, and looked just as angry as he thought it would. “Huff. Thanks.” he muttered, peering at the thing.

He flinched back visibly as it snapped at him. It was still alive? He mistook its floppiness with it being dragged by the river. Those things definitely looked tough. But Satori just slashed its neck and it was over like that. He peered at the bleeding monstrosity. He doubted it was the biggest fish ever, but to him it could feed someone for weeks. At least, before he went through training.

He nudged its now unmoving body with the end of his bow. “We’re supposed to catch and bring ten of these back to the fishery?” he asked, quirking a brow at Satori. “I think it weighs more than I do.” he huffed, brushing aside Satori’s compliment with a light blush. He then tried wriggling his arrow out of its body, should he be successful, he’d then inspect it. “I’m surprised it didn’t snap off.” He says, before shrugging. He’d then peer at the water for more fish, nocking the bow again.

Tin's expression at the size of the fish drew an amused rumble from Satori's chest as he arched a brow slightly. He supposed it was a large creature, all things considered. Especially if you compared it to normal fish one saw in the market and so forth. But since he was used to shark-hunting it hadn't really occurred to him.

Lifting it up by the gills, he drew out his own strand of ninja wire and strung it through the gills. Flipping the fish upside down to let the blood drain as he spoke.

"They're pretty big, but it's mostly their taste people like. The meat under the shell is some of the best fish you'll have," he explained idly before shaking the last of the blood free of it. Wrapping the fish in a single bag before strapping it by the tail and gills to the side of his backpack.

"I'll carry them don't worry," he chuckled, before nodding further up the river.

"Want to try locating the next one on your own?" He inquired curiously, brow arching. Now that Tin knew what to look for, and had a bit of understanding on their movements and strength, he thought it was a good opportunity for the teen.

Post by Tin Mon Apr 15, 2019 11:56 am

Tin’s eyebrows rose as Satori explained why people wanted them. “I guess it’s better than fish that eat mud.” he shrugs, watching him as he lifted it up by the gills and began draining it’s blood. He shrugged to himself as Satori said he’d carry them himself. No weight on his back, after all. He wondered just how much ‘delicious’ meat could be ripped off of one of the giant fishes. Then again, some of them might be bony and armoured, then again the fishery aren’t asking for much, for a gigantic village. Maybe they’re the end-all fish in general.

“Right.” he said, walking along the water’s edge. He took in a breath, then narrowed his vision. He could feel the effort from his bones drain. His brain became focused on one thing. Find fish. Find big fish. He scoured the river, walking along it. Small fish. Turtles. Maybe-not-fish. He saw them with enhanced vision.

Then he caught it. “Big fish.” he said, pointing to it. Then unfocused his eyes. He blinked, then shook his head. He found out where it was now. No need to go dumb anymore. He drew back his bow. Last time he was a little low, the other time it was just right. He let out a breath, and loosed an arrow. He could have hit it. Maybe. Had it not veered off suddenly to the left. He swore, pulling back his arrow as it zipped off.

He followed it, drawing his bow again as he aimed while running. It was a lot harder, since it was a little bit faster than him. However, he traced it, and loosed the arrow again, allowing it to thunk into its flesh. “Got it!” he called, grabbing onto the wire to reel it in. At least, he would have, had it not started dragging him along the edge of the river. It seemed a lot more angry than the other one.

Post by Satori Ryuutei Mon Apr 15, 2019 12:17 pm

Satori blinked once as the teen suddenly became what he could only describe as "incredibly focused". So much so that he couldn't even really communicate, his eyes searing into his surroundings and carefully examining every minute detail with such intensity it was surprising really. As he progressed, Satori watched quietly until he suddenly pointed it out.

A grin formed on his lips, "Well done," he stated simply before stepping forward and waiting. The air currents were stronger by the river, however, and as the arrow was fired Satori knew what was going to happen. Watching it flash through the air before thunking into the water and having to be reeled back.

The next shot was far better, and to Satori's complete surprise Tin even dashed off. Chasing it down along the shore and firing the arrow at a high speed, he even landed the shot perfectly. A slight smile formed once more. It seemed that the competition and challenge was slowly riling the teen up. Good, the more excited and seriously he took this the more he'd develop and grow.

Tin's excited call made it even more appearent--before he began to slowly be drug across the shore. Grunting, Satori leaped from where he'd been standing watch and grabbed the wire. Clenching tightly and drawing it back with narrowed eyes, his muscles bulging. This one was quite a bit bigger--and more energetic, than the last. But it was slowly bleeding out.

"Let it struggle for a bit," Satori stated simply, giving enough slack so they wouldn't be worn out, but were still holding it in place.

The fish managed to drag him all the way to the very edge of the river before Satori managed to grab the wire. It seemed it took even him a bit of strength, as his muscles were bulging. Tin winced as he only thought of what it could do to his arrowhead. It was only wood and metal, he doubted it could hold on for much longer. Surprisingly though, it did. But where the arrow survived, the area around the fish did not, and Tin was almost knocked onto his behind as the arrow came free.

The fish did not get off easy, however. The arrow left a gaping hole where it had been, where it had managed to rip itself away. Now it was bleeding profusely into the river, now being dragged by it more than trying to swim away itself. Tin watched it slide away. He quickly tried to drag his wire back, and nock it again. “It looks half dead.” he noted. He could have left it for the net to catch, but he didn’t want his quarry to escape.

He nocked the arrow again once Satori had let go, and aimed it toward the fish. This time he managed to catch one of the gills as he loosed, and the fish’s struggles became even more meek. By the time they could drag it off into the shore, it most likely had its fishy guts hanging out of the previous wound, and was eighty to ninety percent dead.

The thing was surprisingly determined not to die. Understandable, really, but with the hole, Tin had left in it there wasn't much hope for it. As it began to profusely bleed out, Satori simply waited until Tin managed to hit it with another arrow. At this point, even Satori was impressed at their durability.

"Honestly I expected for at least one to break by now," he commented idly, glancing at the one now buried in the fish's gills as he pulled it steadily ashore before gathering it up. Gutting it on the spot and tossing them to the side. Some turtle or other creature would enjoy it, and he didn't want its guts hanging off the side of his bag.

Strapping it with the other once this was done, Satori flicked the blood from his claws and gave a low hum. That was two now, eight more at least. Though if they kept up at this pace they may manage to snag a few extras. Usually, it didn't result in more pay, but the individuals appreciated it and it earned you favors. Something that could be just as useful in the right hands.

"Let's keep going shall we?" He smiled softly, before nodding for Tin to lead. This was his training, after all. The more shots and practice he got, the better.

Tin dragged it back to shore. He glanced to Satori. “Me too, I guess.” he muttered, before pulling out the arrow and hearing a snapping sound. His eyes narrowed as the stick came, but now the arrow. “Never mind.” he huffed, untangling the wire and replacing the arrow with a new one. He wriggled the arrowhead out, trying not to look at the creepy, angry looking fish, and glanced about. Okay. Now he just needed to look for more fish to get rid of, while Satori dealt with the fish.

He nodded to Satori as he said to continue the mission. “Right.” he said, moving along the river line. This time he didn’t need to sharpen his eyes to find one. Or rather, two. They circled around as predators would when one has intruded upon their hunting grounds. Looks like Satori’s compression had riled up these two.

“Uh… I guess I’ll just shoot at one of them.” he shrugged, nocking his new arrow as he aimed for an area which he knew where one of them would end up. They were trying to ward each other away from their feasts, without the realisation that they could simply share. Tin rolled his eyes at them, before loosing his arrow as one slid into his bow’s vision. He cursed a little as he realised he shot a bit too soon, but luck was with him today. His arrow, rather than missing due to his careless shot, had managed to piece its eye and kill it instantly. Tin let out a grunt, then a yelp of alarm as the other fish shot over to start munching as its now dead rival, while Tin tried dragging it back. A tug of war would ensue.

Satori would be finishing up his work when he heard Tin grunt in surprise. Glancing up and spotting the situation his brow furrowed. He couldn't have the body too mangled, it would make it hell to butcher properly. Muttering he straightened as his chakra flowed through his feet, dashing forward suddenly. Following the thin wire before skidding along the water as his hand cut through the surface like a hot knife through butter.

The combination of his claws sharpness, his strength and the momentum from his dash combined as his claws cracked through the skull and armor of the second fish. The impact jarring the line only for a moment before Satori grunted and hauled both weakly flipping, twitching bodies out of the water. Hauling them back one in each arm as he glanced toward Tin, and then the arrow in the eyes.

"Hell of a shot," he commented idly. He didn't think it had been entirely o purpose, but it was still a damn good shot to put it anywhere near a head as small as the creatures while it was underwater and partially hidden. Especially as mobile as they had been.

"Four down," he stated as he crossed over the water to stand on the shore, carefully removing the arrow from the eye socket of the first fish before he began to work on their cleaning and binding just like their predecessors.

Satori dashed over to the two fish, following his wire. Then he slashed through the water, breaking the second fish and began to haul the two to the surface. After he placed it onto the riverbed, Tin walked over to inspect his catch.

“It was luck.” Tin shrugged as he commented on his shot. He sighed, then wretched the arrow out of its eye socket. He inspected it, before wiping the tip against the grass, cleaning the metal a little. He didn’t want smelly eyes on his arrows, nor did he want to carry it home with the smell. That would’ve been gross, even for him.

Tin let out a sigh as he said that there were four down. It wasn’t as bad as he thought, he was only down one arrow. At this rate, he’d not even have to buy another quiver, he had more than enough at the moment. He turned and walked idly down the river again, searching for prey as Satori dealt with preparing the others for transport. He hummed to himself as he moved, peering at the river.

Then, it struck. From the riverbed, one of the Angry Fish flipped up, almost managing to catch his nose before falling back into the river, it was heavy, so it couldn’t move up as much as it would’ve liked. Still, Tin let out a yelp and moved back, nocking his bow. He narrowed his eyes at the creature, who stared balefully up at him. He loosed an arrow after aiming, it swam out of the way. Tin blinked. This one seemed a little bit smart, or maybe it just had the benefit of seeing him coming first. He drew the arrow back, nocked it, and loosed again. Dodge, and bite. Tin let out a grunt of frustration as the fish actually bit through the arrow shaft.

Two arrows down. He drew a third and tied the wire to the new one. He drew the arrow back. The first few times, it always evaded to the left, so he adjusted his aim a little. He aimed for the area to the left of it, then loosed. And he hit. Unfortunately, he missed a vital area this time, and the tug of war began once again.

Satori was midway through gutting a fish when he heard the yelp. His eyes snapping up, but thankfully Tin was unharmed. In fact, the teen seemed fired up. Anger at having been caught off guard, perhaps, but it was amusing none the less. Chuckling softly to himself, Satori straightened up as he watched the ensuing clash of intellects and strategy.

Really, it was just against a fish, but considering their intellect it was good practice.

The fish was intelligent enough to dodge, and it was putting Tin to the test from what he'd learned thus far to real "combat" experience. Satori grinned as the second arrow was chomped, resting his bloody claws on the ground for a moment as the final arrow was loosed. This time, Tin managed it. The arrow thudded into the creature and began the tug of war immediately, causing Satori to lose a low rumble of amusement.

"Tell me if you need help," Satori stated simply, continuing his work. He couldn't help him with everything after all. This would be good training for him learning to use his body weight and training his muscles. Even if he wasn't going to be the strongest, he most assuredly needed to have some physical conditioning and strength if he wanted to progress properly.

“I don’t need help.” Tin grumbled, pulling at the giant fish. It was pretty strong. For a fish. A giant, four foot fish. He found himself to be slowly losing ground, so he pressed the bow to his chest, turned around and tried moving forward. What muscles he had bulged, his teeth clenched as he pressed his chest forth, trying to push the angry creature toward land. It was wriggling around a lot.

He definitely wasn’t going to be able to push nor pull it back to dry land. If he didn’t get pulled back, then the arrow will break. Or his bow. He could hear it creaking a little. It was only made of wood. He thought for a few moments. The fish seemed to hate him, so… What if he gave it what he wanted?

He let his strength ebb slowly, letting himself get dragged toward the river. His heart pumped as his feet grew ever and ever closed to the wet water. As he got closer and closer, he could see the shape of the fish looming beneath him. The moment his toes were off the edge, the fish struck. But Tin was ready for it. The fish tried to snap at him again, bititng at thin air as he fell onto his butt, kicking the fish over himself and a fair way onto dry land. “Ha!” he exclaimed.

    Stupid fish.

He crouched down, the arrow didn’t look lethal, but it definitely snagged, but there wasn’t much the fish could do other than flop about helplessly. He could try for a coup-de-grace, but he wasn’t really sure if he was going to butcher or ‘butcher’ it. Thus, he moved away from the edge, kicking the fish further from the river, then sat down to watch it die. He idly checked his bow for flaws as he did so.

Satori grinned as the young man began to work against the fish himself. Trying out a variety of different methods as he struggled against it, using his weight, leverage and anything he could come up with. Eventually, he impressed Satori by doing the proper thing. He made a strategy with a bit of risk in return for being far more effective.

Even releasing a cry of success once the fish landed as his grin widened in amusement. He definitely was getting more into it. The contrast from being a helpless, homeless streetrat to suddenly having the physical power to perform real jobs must have been incredibly liberating.

"Well done, again," Satori stated with a grin. He even did the smart thing and let it choke to death on the land. Keeping himself at a distance instead of risking injury due to ineptitude. Good decision making skills.

"Five more," he stated with a grin simply.

Tin tilted his head to the left, then right as Satori well done’d him. He shruggwed. It seemed like the right thing to do at the time. He then stood up, yawning a little as he tapped his bow against his shoulder. He walked over and carefully pried his arrow from the creature’s stomach, then gave it a kick to the jaw. “Stupid fish.” he growled, stalking away to look for more prey. He was a little tired from having to drag the fish, a dragging which he would’ve surely lost, had he not decided to adopt some different methods.

He let out a slight exhaustive sigh. Five more. Five more fish he had to kill. Just five. Maybe six. It was getting a little tiring now. He wearily trudged along the river. As nice as he knew now that he could survive fishing, he wasn’t really used to it. Not to mention he was only okay at catching this kind of fish, smaller ones would probably be a bit of a bigger challenge.

Then, he came across yet another unusual sight. One of the Angry Fish was gills up, floating across the riverbank. He squatted down and grabbed it. It was big, its throat even bigger than the other ones. He pulled it up. It looked dead. As he yoinked it onto dry land, the throat burst a little, and a turtle popped out. Seemed it got stuck in the fish’s throat. He shrugged. That was a free catch, at least. He dragged it over to Satori. “Uh… Here you go. Am I going to have to try and catch all of them?"

Satori eyed the fish as he drug it along toward him, the throat was ruptured but that was fine really. It was more curious about the turtle, but, it was one less fish to catch. Grunting he would grasp it by the throat, checking how fresh it was. Relatively. Likely died a few hours ago which was fine. Nodding in affirmation he glanced up at Tin as he inquired if he had to catch anymore; he looked pretty tired now. A low hum filled his chest before he would straighten and motion him over.

"Let's switch then. Here, I'll show you how to gut and clean," he stated with a slight smile before reaching down and grasping the fish firmly by the gills. He then nodded to the kunai blade at Tin's side, grasping it and pulling it free before setting it carefully at he cavity right underneath the throat itself.

"Push the tip in right here where there's nothing but some skin and tendon, see the divit?" As he showed him the area he then pushed the blade in, "About an inch inside," he stated simply, "Then just trace all the way down in a relatively straight line following the ribs that you'll feel against the blade.

He drug the blade carefully down before idly pulling the fish open, "Then just scoop it out," he stated bluntly, reaching in and cutting the connective tissues near the gills, before pulling down from there. The rest of the organs spilling out neatly in their sacks, that he then tossed into the river.

"The heart, liver, and so forth stay in this way," he clarified idly before rinsing his hands and the blade in the river, adding the fish to the set they had, and nodding to the fish he'd just found floating before offering him back the kunai.

"You try, I'll watch," he stated simply.

Tin suddenly felt a bit more energetic about catching the fish. It was too late now however, Satori had already begun telling him how to do so. He was trapped the moment he decided to walk over. Or tell him he was getting tired. Either way, now he had to deal with the fish. He wrinkled his nose as Satori began to teach him how to clean the angry fish. He still thought they looked weird, and having to look at them up close was even worse.

He sighed, retrieving his own kunai blade as he watched Satori deal with the fish. He set it under his throat in a particular spot. He peered at him as he told him to push the tip into that particular spot. He was just talking about tendons and divits, he shrugged, deciding to just learn by watching him. He moved the blade in about an inch, like he said, and then dragged the blade down the fish’s.. Torso? Underside? He wrinkled his nose only further as he was told to just scoop out its innards. He suppressed the urge to say ‘ew.’

He wiggled his own kunai blade at Satori, before huffing as it was his time to do it. He peered down at the fish. He let out a sigh, then began to do as Satori showed him. He looked for a particular place over the fish’s neck, then wriggled his kunai blade in an inch or so. He squinted, then began to drag it along the fish’s body, all the way down, as straight as he could.

He looked at his hands, then at the fish’s body. This was going to be disgusting. He reached in and began scooping the fish’s organs out of its body, resisting the urge to retch. “Ew.” he grumbled, throwing the organs into the river as Satori did, shaking his head, then shuffling over to wash them. It was just so disgusting.

Satori snickered at Tin without hiding it at all.

"You get used to it. You're overthinking it as well. What are you going to do in combat with the enemies corpse? Ninja combat is brutal. You'll see people bisected and blown to bits across the battlefield." Despite these words, he straightened himself and arched a brow. He'd done one, so he figured he'd offer the option once more.

"I'll let you choose, you can keep hunting or start gutting to get used to it. The more you do it the more you'll desensitize yourself," as he stated this he then idly flicked the water droplets from his claws tips. It didn't matter which one Tin decided on, either one would help him develop after all just in different ways.

Tin huffed at Satori’s snicker and reply. He shook his head, his hands were hurting a little too, form holding the wire. He was only glad he wore gloves, otherwise his fingers would’ve been shredded by now. Still, he ached a little. He sighed again. “I guess I’ll have to get used to it.” he muttered. At least Satori could catch the fish faster, probably. He didn’t really have to aim all that much.

He then sat down more comfortably, cleaned the knife on the grass, and peered at Satori as he began to flick water from his claws. He wondered how that worked, his claw attacks. Maybe he just used really sharp nails, enhanced with chakra. Or he just had sharp nails in general. He seemed like a bestial guy. Weird.

He shrugged, and got to work on the next one, that is, if there were any to be done right now. Otherwise he’d just have to wait for Satori to bring one.

Satori nodded once as he agreed to gut, it would do him good psychologically. Turning he meandered toward the water as his claws slowly extended from his fingertips to their full length. Flexing them a few times before he walked out onto the water and took a deep breath before his chakra pulsed through his body. If Tin was done for now he may as well wrap everything up so that they could head home. Narrowing his eyes he allowed the chakra to flow through his body, he lifted his hands up and formed the dragon seal.

    Electric Jolt.

His hand was suddenly engulfed in electricity before it smashed into the surface of the water. Notably, this did nothing to the other animals. But the fish were smart, and understood that electricity could travel through the water--and so the Genjutsu effected them. The false electrical energy washed through the water, and suddenly a dozen large fish would float slowly toward the surface from the effects of the illusion electrocuting them.

Satori then casually meandered along the water, following the current to scoop the fish up, smoothly crack their necks, and toss them to shore for Tin to work with. Once they'd gathered about twelve of them total, he left the rest to breed and turned back toward the shore and Tin while the teen worked.

Tin watched him as he headed off into the water, taking a breath. He rose an eyebrow as he began to do a seal. Then his hand began to course with electricity.

    Eh?

Satori then smashed it into the water, and suddenly, loads and loads of the giant angry fish floated up to the surface. Tin stared at him, deadpan as he began to toss them into a pile in front of him. His eyebrow rose further and further as each new one flopped onto the other. And another. And another. His head traced them as they flew. He stared at the pile of fish corpses.

Then he let out a sigh, and a groan. It seemed as though Satori didn’t like doing thigns the slow way. He steeled himself and got to work. Stab. Draw down underside. Scoop. Toss. Stab. Draw down underside. Scoop. Toss. Stab. Draw down underside. Scoop. Toss.

He began to suspect that after this, he wouldn’t want to see another of these angry fish again.
