Yoru Catches Some God Damn Fish [Mission]

What was up with all these fish missions lately?

First catching Octopodes and now this? When Yoru had been given the slip detailing his tasks, he had been a tad dismayed. Sure he was desperate for money, and any odd job helped pay the exuberant cost of puppet materials- but surely there was a limit he was willing to sink to, right? There had to be some point where the amount of money he could get wouldn't matter? So far, Yoru had held his nose and jumped feet-first into all the opportunities he could find. He had gotten some odd jobs, yet no stinkers. Hell, with how much he wanted cash, he'd be a goddamn courtesean for a day. He was like a tired french whore who has never truly been satisfied but still yearns for the hope of feeling it.

These thoughts and more swirled as Yoru arrived at the Hozuki Fisheries, the same place he'd been at the day prior floundering about in search of Octopodes. He walked up to the fishery foreman, explaining he was there to help out. It was typical Genin work, the kind of stuff that was really just for grunts. Yoru piled into a small boat that was being manned by some of the locals and headed out to the usual fishing grounds. He managed to make some small talk here and there, but didn't really learn much about his comrades in ocean'y arms. Instead, the group fell into a routine of the day, gruffly instructing the landlubber Yoru in how to properly use a large net to fish along the open sea.

Yoru heaved out with the other men, throwing the net wide and watching it sink. He pulled hard, pulling it, and the fish tangled in it, back toward the boat. The thing was a lot heavier than he had first realized! It quickly made him break a sweat that, when combined with the sun and lack of shade, tired him out quickly. The rest of the day was spent like this, with Yoru throwing out nets and pulling them back in to pack up the haul of fish in iced coolers. Once the storage baskets were full, the group began sailing back in to shore.

Upon arriving, Yoru would spend the rest of the day sorting through the caught fish (not to mention fantasizing about a shower right hen), helping categorize them all and prepare them to be sent to market and the other clients of the fishery. It was a lot of clerical work, a deceptively large amount! Once it was all done, though, Yoru left feeling utterly exhausted. This was by far the hardest task he'd done, and even though he was ultimately paid the mission reward by the Mizukage's office, he was left hoping to not deal with such a physical task again!
