Crave Case (Flashback)

Before heading out for lunch Hana needed a message delivered. After confirming with the front guards that Taiga Amari had entered the city she needed to conduct her business with her. Unfortunately the meeting couldn't be personal given her busy schedule so a letter and the goods would have to do. Given the sensitive nature of the delivery it would take place in the Defense Coordination Center to ensure its secrecy. Sketching the letter she'd place it in the wooden box with the one million and two-hundred fifty ryo. Closing it shut she'd place it on a wooden table which was guarded by elite Jounin waiting for Calis to pick it up.

The Letter:

Time for another delivery for the Mizukage it would seem. At least this time it would be relatively interesting as he was told to report to pick up the package from the Defense Administration Center. That meant the delivery was of a higher profile than normal. It meant that Hana had either begun to trust him more, or that she was potentially testing him. He wasn't sure which, but he had no intention of disappointing the woman. Arriving quickly after the summons, he strode into the building and quickly found the wooden box with the Elite Jounin guards. The box wasn't locked, and he decided that he should probably have more or less an idea of what might be in the box. Lest it be fragile and a mistake happen. So the long haired man opened the wooden box to find stacks of ryo and a sealed letter.

Glancing at the sealed letter he'd set it aside calmly. It was none of his business. The money though, that could quickly cause a problem if it wasn't handled properly. Like counting it to ensure no one would be able to say they got less than what was in the box. "I'm going to count the ryo before taking this. That way if this, Taiga Amari, person tries to say that it wasn't the proper amount. There will be three people able to validate the amount in the box." He would say calmly before reaching in and beginning to count the ryo. He separated them into piles of two hundred and fifty thousand. It took a bit of time, but he eventually counted out five piles evenly. Which made the total amount within the box one million and two-hundred and fifty thousand ryo. He counted aloud, so the guards could hear, in case they weren't watching directly. Then he packed it all back into the box in a neat and orderly fashion, placed the sealed envelope on top of the pile, and closed the box securely. Then he picked it up and secured it to his back with straps. That would allow him to utilize his hands without the box screwing with his ability to use them. He made sure the opening was against his back so no one could slip a hand in and take any of the money too. Without that, he strode out the door quickly and took to the rooftops to ensure delivery of the package.
