Ninja Techniques | Ninjutsu 忍術
The most famous and practical of the Ninja Arts, Ninjutsu is founded upon the principles brought about by the Sage of the Six Paths and focuses upon the use of Chakra to accomplish a variety of tasks. As the most prominent of the three main Ninja Arts, Ninjutsu is widely practiced among the shinobi and as such comes more easily than other fields, allowing any shinobi to learn up to C-Rank without the Skill, while having the actual Skill represents time and dedication invested into this, beyond the already hefty amount of training that any academy student would devote, granting access to all ranks. Investing in Ninjutsu allows the character to choose one element or non-element they have an affinity towards which applies a one rank reduction in cost for those technique. This does not stack with UAs or enchantments.

Body Techniques | Taijutsu 体術
The most basic and fundamental skill of a Shinobi is hand to hand combat. All know of it at least to some degree, affording the capacity to train D and lower ranking techniques, but only the dedicated can master this field to an art form as well as benefit from a one rank reduction in cost (does not stack with UAs.) While many will consider a punch to only be a punch, a Taijutsu user sees it as an expression of the self, a dance of sorts performed by two equals on a field where the only thing that matters is the fight. Taijutsu covers the broad range of physical combat, ranging from specific styles to special techniques and everything in between. It's a worthwhile Skill for any that find themselves in the heart of danger constantly, as so many factors go into determining one's power; other Skills are dependent upon one or two Stats, but Taijutsu uses them all, making for endless combinations of fighters that aren't proven better or worse until pitted against each other in every possible situation.

Illusionary Techniques | Genjutsu 幻術
The shinobi art of deception by means of assaulting the cerebral nervous system to alter the flow of energy in the brain, causing a myriad of effects controlled by the user that include, but are not limited to: hallucinations, manipulation, pain, and psychosis. Genjutsu most often involve some kind of trigger and can be more deadly based on the user's Intelligence, or more easily broken based on the target's Perception. More information on those Stats and their relevance to Genjutsu can be found here. Breaking a Genjutsu often occurs with a standard Genjutsu Kai or similar Technique, as well as pain or a Kai performed by someone touching the one affected; the method of breaking, as well as the trigger, often varies by each individual Genjutsu. As one of the three basic Ninja Arts, all shinobi are capable of performing D-Rank and lower Genjutsu.

Weapon Techniques | Bukijutsu 武器術
Like the fluid art of Taijutsu is Bukijutsu, a similar field different only is that its focus is on the use of many weapons. Bukijutsu users may sometimes choose a unique weapon or use many, but no matter their preference, what they wield is as much a form of heart as hand to hand combat is for a Taijutsu user. They can fight toe to toe with the most experience warriors and hold the advantage not just by the edges of their tools, but by the innumerous options available to them, for each weapon is unique in its own way, and only a Bukijutsu user can master them all. Unlike Taijutsu, Bukijutsu is not one of the three main Ninja Arts, establishing its uniqueness in the world. A Bukijutsu user is able to learn all Techniques of its branch as described in the opening paragraph, and even create Custom Techniques based on it; and while they can learn Kenjutsu technique, they cannot create Techniques of their own for those branches nor do they benefit from the one rank cost reduction. Normally, wielding multiple weapons is difficult, and will reduce a person's Coordination by a tier, but with enough natural Coordination, a Bukijutsu user will not suffer the penalty. This starts at C-Tier with two weapons, and increases by a weapon per Tier -there are certain techniques and styles and that can circumvent this drawback.

Sword Techniques | Kenjutsu 剣術
The art of the sword is one more complex and simply too great to not hold a field of its own. Even the most experienced Bukijutsu master, while no doubt skilled in the blade, will never be as good with a sword as one that devotes their life to it. Kenjutsu users use just this one class of weapon to the same effects as a Bukijutsu user uses their entire arsenal, with such skill and proficiency that more than makes up for a lack of versatility. Like the physical arts before it, Kenjutsu is based upon the user's body as a whole, and is never at a set advantage or disadvantage no matter the statistics, for every situation is different, and every combat situation ever-evolving. Like Bukijutsu, Kenjutsu users can wield multiple weapons without the one Tier loss to Coordination. They, too, start at C-Tier with two weapons, and progress one weapon for every additional tier. Again, certain techniques and styles can work around that flaw. Kenjutsu users may learn Bukijutsu technique, though do not benefit from the one rank reduction in cost without investing in the skill.

Archery Techniques | Kyūjutsu 弓術
The art of the bow is a rarity among ninja; most would prefer their shuriken and kunai over any real long-range projectiles. Those that actually take the time to practice using the bow and arrow find themselves unlocking the potential to win a battle before the enemy can reach them -or even realize their presence. Archers use Strength to determine the might of their bows and the piercing power of their shots, as well as Coordination for rapid shooting and especially for accuracy. Those of higher Speed are often difficult to shoot and can overwhelm the archer's Coordination to an extent that proper aiming cannot take place. Archers with A-Tier Perception can see with incredible accuracy, affording an ability commonly referred to as Eagle Vision. Their eyesight does not diminish with distance, blocked only by obstructions and the natural curving of the Earth itself.

Puppet Techniques | Kugutsu 傀儡
The art of puppetry was made famous long ago by the Village Hidden in the Sand, where famed users such as Sasori of the Red Sand and Kankuro would utilize the Chakra Threads technique to master the Puppet Technique, which can control a number of inanimate objects based on the user's Coordination. Not only does this Skill allow one to learn the Puppet Technique, it affords a basic knowledge of poisons and weaponry, so that puppet users can create their own mechanized monstrosities and the lethal edge coatings that often go with them. These both are limited to Level C and less. If a Puppeteer wishes to make puppets greater than C-Rank then they must take either: Weapons Crafting, Armour Crafting, or Engineer in addition to having the Kugutsu Skill.

Sealing Techniques | Fūinjutsu 封印術
The Ninja Art of sealing. Fuuinjutsu's specialized and complex abilities are involving the use of chakra-laced inscriptions to store things away in a separate dimensional space or even to seal living entities inside of other living entities. The most common application allows for mass storage of many items in a small and convenient scroll or markings on the body, while the more complex can create such legendary powers as Jinchuuriki. The complexity of the seal is created by the user's own cunning mind, allowing for virtually limitless versaility and creativity, making each person's seals slightly different from everyone else's. Intelligence is the key factor here, both for securing one's sealing formulas and for cracking another's. It will generally take no time at all to decipher and undo a seal with the appropriate unsealing technique if your intelligence is higher than the seal creator, but as that advantage wanes, it may take additional time and effort. Equal Intelligence often takes two posts, one Tier lower takes four; two tiers lower: seven; three tiers lower: ten. An Intelligence difference of more than three tiers is simply too great to overcome, no matter how much time is invested into the seal. As this, like many Skills on this list, is not on the three main Ninja Arts, Fuuinjutsu is not inherently known and generally requires a Skill Point placed into to it to learn techniques under its category.

Medical Techniques | Iryōjutsu 医療
Medics are invaluable on and off the battlefield. They keep soldiers fighting in the heat of battle and patch up warriors returning home. They are a necessity and those skilled in the art can accomplish such impressive tasks as implanting a Kekkei Genkai to bring a person into a whole new world of power. Medics are also capable of diagnosing illnesses and requesting or creating for themselves medicine or poisons. Intelligence for the required level of knowledge and control, Perception for the ability to assess, categorize, and organize needs on the battlefield or in the hospital, Coordination for the fine motor control demanded of intricate and delicate surgical procedures, and Stamina for the endurance to heal many grievous wounds are what determine a Medic's effectiveness. Medics have an intrinsic understanding of hazardous chemicals as it relates to the human body. This allows them to create up to B-Grade poisons and medicines. The creation of higher grade poisons and medicines would require the Chemistry skill.

Sensory Techniques | Kanchijutsu 感知
One of the more utility-based Skills, Sensory attunes ones senses to the presence of chakra throughout the world around them. Many are incapable of this feat, while some actively seek to learn it for its incredible usefulness. A sixth sense can afford sight where none could be had, in areas of low to no visibility and even through villages and the like. Knowing this Skill grants access to the Sensing Technique, the foundation for all sensors. The power of a sensor is largely determined by their Perception, which is the attunement to all of their senses, as well as the world around them. Some sensors have even found or developed unique techniques that further extend their range to levels that rival even the Byakugan, while a rare few are so adept that such a level is natural to them. Chakra levels, locations, intent, and chakra nature can all be detected from a distance.

Summoning Techniques | Kuchiyose 感知
The Ninja Art of Summoning; Kuchiyose is founded upon the principles of a single technique: the Summoning Jutsu. While any shinobi can learn this technique, only those with this Skill are able to master it to such a degree as signing a secondary contract and even creating their own custom contracts. Only the highly trained can tame even the wildest of beasts Those without this Skill are lacking in their affinity for new and unused summons, therefore limiting them to signing a single existing contract and only calling upon creatures that are C-Rank and lower. Stamina determines how big a creature can be summoned, and how many, as it takes not only a hefty toll on the user, but requires a certain caliber of shinobi to summon certain higher level creatures.

Chemistry | Kagaku 化学
A master of the elements in a much different sense is the Chemist. Chemists mix and match compounds, herbs, formulas, and pretty much anything else in existence to create boundless substances that can do just about anything desired. From lethal poisons to cure-all antidotes and explosives and acids too, Chemists are master of all. They are known to find seemingly harmless plants in the wild and create combinations that turn the tide of battle and, as such, are considered invaluable on large scale operations and especially on the home front. Chemists are those that make life saving medicines used throughout village hospitals, metal treatments used in every smithy, oils necessary for daily living, and so much more. Those without the Skill are untrained in any of this, looking at a plant as just that, while Ijutsu and Kugutsu users are slightly more advanced, however, they are no replacement for a true Chemist, the only one that can craft Level B and higher chemicals. Intelligence is the determining stat for this field, because with Intelligence comes the knowledge of herbs and their effects, the result of mixing various chemicals, and the capacity for truly complex masterpieces of science. The smarter a Chemist is, the faster he is able to reverse or even reverse-engineer effects caused by another Chemist, using the same table as Fuuinjutsu: equal Intelligence often takes two posts, one Tier lower takes four; two tiers lower: seven; three tiers lower: ten. An Intelligence difference of more than three tiers is simply too great to overcome, no matter how much time is invested. Now, unlike Fuuinjutsu, a one tier higher Intelligence will take one post, but two tiers or more will take little to no time at all.

Weapon Crafting | Kajiya 鍛冶屋
This skill allows the ability to craft the tools of war. It governs everything deemed as an offensive material including leather whips and slings, metallic swords and spears, or wooden clubs and staves. A highly desired craft in the world next to armor. Weapon smiths are sought after organizations and individuals in need of an item to suit their explicit task or training. Anybody can create an E-rank weapon, which would consist of a sharpened stick being heat treated or a tapered branch, in order to create real weapons one must invest a point into this skill. Weapon Smithing focusing heavily on Coordination in order to consistently strike the steel in the right places, and forging a keen, diamond-hard edge or point.

Armor Crafting | Nyūsatsu 入札
Being the next most profitable skill in the world, armor smithing governs everything designed to protect humans from impact which is worn on the body. This includes leather armors, metallic armors, shields, and any other unique method of protection. Although not as popular as it was back in the day, armor smithing is still a sought after craft for Samurai or Shinobi who wish to take on an extra method of defense aside from the standard issue flak jacket, or a fortified version of one. Just like Weapon Smithing, everyone has access to make an E-rank armor. This would include cured hide, a form of padded armor, or a shaved ring of wood to act as a small shield. Armor Smithing focuses on Coordination in order to get measurements and consistency when hammering steel or treating and measuring the leather.

Engineering | Enjinia エンジニア
This category of crafting covers everything that is not an armor or weapon. Players with this skill will be able to craft unique and valuable trinkets to planning a building design layout that can benefit an entire dwelling. This can also include crafting a hidden passage, a living maze, or an electric fence. An Engineer can craft whatever they set their mind to. Everyone has access to E-rank crafts, which would consist of a poorly erected shelter, pitfall or deadfall traps, or a short wooden fence. Just like Armor and Weaponry smithing, Engineering requires Coordination in order to be proficient with your measurements and ensuring your crafts function as planned.

Yin Release | Inton 陰遁
One of the two primary elements, Inton covers the spiritual energy inside of everyone that governs imagination. It is most often combined in varying ratios with Yōton to utilize basic Ninjutsu, which requires little skill to speak of, while on its own, Inton can create form out of nothing, most often in the state of the mind. Techniques that do this are called Genjutsu. Higher forms of Inton are not limited to only the mental plane, actually going so far as creating things from nothing. It is a fairly new field with much to be discovered, having very few specialists of its nature diverting from the typical Genjutsu; the Nara have an interesting use for it involving shadows. Inton is inherently neither strong nor weak against any other elements, but can often work powerfully in conjunction with its opposite, Yōton.

Yang Release | Yōton 陽遁
Like Inton, Yōton has no inherent strengths or weaknesses, and is often combined with its opposite to form basic Ninjutsu. The only part that requires any skill is in using Yōton on its own, as the force that governs vitality, with the ability to breathe life into form. One can imagine the capabilities of combining both Yin and Yang, creating form from nothing and breathing life into it. Yōton alone, however, is as new a field as Inton, used only in minor cases as in the healing born of Ijutsu, and as the means of implementing the Akimichi Clan's sizing techniques. The Senju Clan's Mokuton is also thought to have some level of Yang Release mixed into it.

Fire Release | Katon 火遁
The element of heat and destruction, Katon begins as super-heated chakra focused in the body and released via the lungs and mouth. It is considered the least controllable element, making techniques that focus on such particularly complex and difficult. It is often associated with the Tiger hand seal and can occasionally utilize certain mediums to help with combustion, such as ash, gun powder, oil, explosive tags, chakra flow, gas, etc. Konohagakure, as the Land of Fire's shinobi village, is especially prominent in users of this element.

Water Release | Suiton 水遁
Perhaps the most versatile of the Basic Elements, Suiton can be manipulated in shape, viscosity, and even density to suit virtually any task. Induced drowning and impact-based attacks are just two of many potential uses. Like controlling Katon, creating Suiton out of nothing is particularly difficult and found only in the strongest of Suiton users. Suiton is strong against Katon via flame extinguishing and weak against Doton due to the latter's propensity for dispersing the force and power of water. Uniquely, Suiton can act as a conductor for Raiton, extending its range and destructive potential. As the shinobi village in the Land of Water, Kirigakure houses most of the world's Suiton using population.

Earth Release | Doton 土遁
Rivaling Suiton's wide range of usability is Doton's manipulation and shaping of the earth itself. Anything of earthen material can be manipulated in shape, form, density, and even weight. Doton even affords the ability to move freely through the hardest substances, perfect for escape or setting up the perfect strategic play. Doton is affiliated most often with the Snake hand seal and Iwagakure in the Land of Earth. It is strong against Suiton, but vulnerable to Raiton, which can cut through its constructs and make-up more easily than any other element. Doton can absorb water to not only nullify Suiton techniques, but also initiate mud-based attacks and can also combine with Katon for isolated heating or wide ranging explosions.

Lightning Release | Raiton 雷遁
The second least controllable and probably most difficult to master, Raiton involves the heavy vibrating of one's chakra to the point that it becomes electricity, increasing both speed and piercing capabilities. Raiton can act much like real world lightning when wielded in one's hands, but once it leaves the body, it moves far slower than would be expected, similar in speed to Katon. However, utilizing actual lightning can dramatically improve Raiton's potency. When combined with Suiton, its effects can be wide-ranging and catastrophic, but it is weak against the naturally electrical insulating Fūton. Doton can easily be cut through, however, making it weak against Raiton in particular. Kumogakure, located within the Land of Lightning, is the shinobi village most associated with Raiton.

Wind Release | Fūton 風遁
Only by concentrating one's chakra into a fine edge can Fūton be created. It uses heightened cutting power on a small scale over a wide range to inflict mass damage or simply a powerful impact. When flowed over a weapon, it has similar cutting power to Raiton, but overpowers it in raw form, while acting as fuel to Katon. This can make it the losing technique in a clash or an enhancing factor in a combination assault. The concussive power of Suiton can also be enhanced via Fūton, which is found primarily in the Land of Wind's Sunagakure.

Yin-Yang Release | Onmyōton 陰陽遁
All forms of chakra hold their base in some form of mixture between Yin and Yang, making this Advanced Element perhaps the most powerful of all. It can create form through Yin and give life through Yang, and can even nullify all other ninjutsu. Techniques of this element are of the highest caliber, while the element itself is virtually unheard of. It is currently unknown what sort of people have access to this special combination of Yōton and Inton.

Dark Release | Meiton 冥遁
Dark Release makes use of Inton and Raiton in the most basic sense, dissecting the rawest forms of chakra. Meiton users are known to drain the chakra of their foes from a distance and use it to duplicate the techniques of that foe via that same chakra. They can be like dopplegangers, turning the enemy's power against them, or like thieves, stealing away an enemy's power and using it to unleash a fury all their own. Meiton is known to reside in no particular village.

Blaze Release | Enton 炎遁
An advanced form of Katon created with the flames of Amaterasu and manipulated with the Mangekyo Sharingan, Enton is the pinnacle of Fire Release that commands the greatest elemental ninjutsu of all time. In its bare form, Amaterasu is a mighty and uncontrollable force that can burn through anything and cause catastrophic harm, but with Enton, it can be directed and shaped in such a way that it reaches a whole new level. The Uchiha are the possessors of this element, thanks to their Mangekyo Sharingan, and its base elements are Katon and Inton. Unlike other Advanced Elements, Enton does not bear the weakness of its component; Suiton is burned just as easily as wood and rock. This may perhaps be because of its Yin component, but none can really say.

Ice Release | Hyōton 氷遁
By combining the Basic Elements Wind and Water, Hyōton encapsulates the coldest force of nature: Ice. By creating water or taking it from a preexisting source, users are able to freeze it and manipulate it as either ice or snow. The Yuki Clan are the masters of this element, and have become truly fierce with their many powerful techniques based on it. While few markings denote a Yuki, the area around them can become extremely cold -even so far as causing localized snowfall- when accessing their Kekkei Genkai. Because of its components, Hyōton is actually neutral to Raiton serving as neither insulator nor enhancer, while resisting the heat of raw flames. Solid Doton techniques are tougher than Ice is, capable of breaking even the sturdiest of Hyōton techniques.

Lava Release | Yōton 熔遁
By mixing the natures of Katon and Doton, Yōton is able to create a variety of substances based on the user's desires and preferences. Some users are known to utilize molten rock, while others use rubber, corrosive quicklime, acidic mud, or even melting flames. Yōton is one of the most potent natures out there is one of the most sporadic. No Clan can claim ownership of the bloodline as it is extremely diverse and is known to appear in many different villages. As a derivative of fire, Yōton is affected by Suiton, returning to a solid state if an equal level is applied. Raiton has no particular effect on it and Fūton is known to combust when in contact. *However, forms varying from the typical molten rock (Lava) act as other elements, in terms of strengths and weaknesses.

Storm Release | Ranton 嵐遁
By mixing lightning and water based chakra, Ranton users are able to generate dark storm clouds or even release laser-like beams of chakra energy. They can spread water far and wide, only to electrocute it with lightning for devastating area assaults. Its elements seem to act independently when facing certain other elements; wind can insulate the lightning, earth can stop the flow of water, and water can conduct the electric current. In its true, flawlessly combined state, Ranton is neutral to Doton and Katon, while weak to Fūton.

Boil Release | Futton 沸遁
An inherently wide ranging offensive element, Futton uses fire nature to heat water nature in order to create a vapor cloud with properties that vary by user. Some create vapor clouds with a controlled level of acidity, while others use simple heated steam to cause burning damage to those within range, or even use it as propulsion for enhanced physical combat. The water in the vapor conducts Raiton fairly easily, while being readily blocked by earth and actually being made hotter by Katon, but Fūton is able to blow it away. No Clan holds claim to the Futton and no village possesses a monopoly on it.

Explosion Release | Bakuton 爆遁
Easily one of the more deadly elements, Bakuton utilizes the art of explosion to harness catastrophic power that they can use to obliterate enemies or topple enormous structures. The rightly named Explosion Release combines earth and lightning type chakras into one and apply that destructive chakra into objects that wound by proxy or by implanting the stuff directly into a victim. This chakra can be rendered inert by Raiton, nullifying the explosion, though it is particularly effective against Doton. Katon can potentially set it off early, though holds little effect, while Fūton can potentially increase the power of an explosion or, if used wisely, fight against the concussive force. Suiton, surprisingly, can eliminate the burning aspect of Bakuton, but isn't as effective on the force of the explosion itself. Iwagakure's Blast Corps holds the majority of the world's Bakuton users, and though they are not isolated to one specific Clan, the genetic abnormality itself is found only in Iwagakure.

Scorch Release | Shakuton 灼遁
Shakuton, like Bakuton, is a particularly deadly element best suited for death and destruction. Scorch Release focuses Katon chakra and uses raw Fūton chakra to enhance it, combining it in a very basic state without exposing it to the air, such that it becomes unnaturally hot and, when applied to a technique, can kill with ease. Most techniques use that heat to burn a victim, though what actually kills them is the vaporization of every liquid in their bodies. This chakra is potent and deadly, not to be used lightly and most certainly to be fought with great care and caution and is even said to be able to form plasma. Shakuton is naturally weak to Suiton, but strong against Fūton and Raiton. Katon is generally ineffective. Meant to be used at range, Scorch Release fits perfectly with the long-range fighting methods of Sunagakure, and while it is prevalent in that village, it can be found anywhere.

Crystal Release | Shōton 晶遁
Activating Earth Release in its raw state with the electrifying energies of Lightning Release gives birth to the new element Shōton, a Crystal Release which can convert virtually all matter into crystals. As this element offers command over all crystalline structures in some way, this means that Shōton users can effectively turn one's own weapons or defenses against oneself, forcing dragons of earth or water to turn upon their master with a fury as destructive in raw force as it is brilliant in color. This includes even living creatures and people, reducing even the mightiest of warriors into harmless immobile statues. The one weakness in this advanced element is the need for matter; raw energy cannot be converted, leaving Raiton, Katon, and raw base chakra immune to its effects. Lightning especially prevails, as it holds power over the Doton aspect of Shōton, shattering crystal structures with as much ease as the powerful sound waves of Onton. Shōton is a rare bloodline with no village or clan to claim its power. Hardly any of them are ever even found.

Steel Release | Kōton 鋼遁
Manipulating the form of normal earth via the powers of Yin Release yields the potent combination termed Steel Release. Kōton utilizes much the same style as Doton, covering the body with armor, launching projectiles, manipulating and changing the terrain, etc. but with the added bonus of being much, much harder. Kōton is aptly named, for it condenses the Doton chakra and hardens it, thereby converting it into something virtually indestructible, with strength greater than any other solid based element or bloodline. As an even more durable variation of Doton, Kōton holds many of the same properties. It stands strong against the roaring waters and mighty winds, but it can be pierced by lightning and made weak by fire. Kōton is found in Iwagakure but laid claim to by no clan as of yet.

Swift Release | Jinton 迅遁
Activating Fūton chakra over the body through Yōton yields a unique sort of field over the body that can exert great control over general movement speed. That is the initial idea behind Swift Release, but it goes much beyond just speed. Jinton covers manipulation over kinetic forces. They can increase their own speed, of course, but they can also manipulate the speed of things near them to increase or decrease velocity, making them a very dangerous group. This can be a fantastic power, but it does still bear the weakness to flames, an energy beyond their control and quite lethal to even their abilities, with an uncanny knack for tracing their high speeds by means of igniting their wind-based fields. No village as yet holds claim to this bloodline, nor any clan.

Magnet Release | Jiton 磁遁
Combining the elements of Earth and Wind members of the Kazehana Clan are capable of creating magnetic fields with their chakra to manipulate many different objects. Magnet Release is one of the few advanced elements that isn't inherently offense based, generally being used for manipulation of items such as sand, dust, and weaponry. The potential for this kekkei genkai is tremendous, limited mostly to one's own creative ability. The fields can be weakened by intense electricity, but are particularly effective against metal. No clan or village owns this bloodline, as it is one of the many sporadic elements.

Wood Release | Mokuton 木遁
Belonging to the Senju Clan of the Forest, Mokuton activates both Doton and Suiton chakra with Yōton to create a source of life with their own energy. Going beyond that, Mokuton users can even manipulate pre-existing sources of life with their chakra, twisting and reforming foliage that has stood strong for centuries with but a flash of their will. As the name implies, Wood Release is based entirely around trees and all things related, with the ability to grow forests from a barren wasteland, branches from one's own fingers, and lifelike entities that move and react like an actual being, but are comprised entirely of wood. Even more so than Swift or Magnet, Mokuton is the most diverse element in existence, sought after by many for its extreme potential and legendary influence over Tailed Beasts. Konohagakure is, of course, the only village in which this powerful kekkei tota can be found, which holds only a weakness for lightning. It is resistant even to fire and the cutting power of wind, and especially the blunt force of Suiton.

Dust Release | Hoton 塵遁
Where Wood Release is diverse, Dust Release is destructive, holding as much potential for devastation as Wood Release does for creation. It is a kekkei tota comprised of Katon, Fūton, and Doton that functions much like a bomb in its ability to completely obliterate virtually anything in existence. Hoton works in three dimensional shapes, covering first a very small expanse between the user's hands while being formed and then expanding at an alarming rate to cover a vast area. Mere moments later, everything caught within is reduced to dust, crumpled and shredded into atoms. While used primarily for destruction, Hoton provides the ability to manipulate molecules, typically used to separate them in its function as the ultimate weapon on the battlefield. Hoton is the penultimate element of Iwagakure, securing its place as a world power as much as the Senju and Uchiha secure Konohagakure. It is weak to no element, and while it is not particularly strong against any, there are none able to stand on equal ground with it.
