Beat Down [Iko & Taiga] Empty Beat Down [Iko & Taiga]

Mission Name: Beat up the Delinquents
    Mission Type: Guard
    Mission Rank: C
Mission Goal: Beat up the Delinquents
Description: A group of juvenile delinquents have been going around at night tagging various shops with graffiti. The owners of these shops are getting fed up with it and have decided to finally do something about it. They are looking to hire a Shinobi to stake out the market district at night and wait for the delinquents to show up and then teach them a lesson. Beat the delinquents or install fear into them to get them to stop their evil ways.
    Payment: 15,000 Ryo
    Requirements: Genin +

It seemed that Kirigakure had a problem with delinquents. Enough so that they felt the need to put up missions that had the job of going around and beating them up just to put them back in line. Apparently hiring foreigners for this was an appropriate measure as well. Ikomiki had gone on a number of interesting missions while in this village. Exterminating rats, defending against bandits, catching fish… This one though was the strangest to her. Still, money was money. Ikomiki wasn’t the type to turn down an easy meal or paycheck.

The outfit she wore was a far cry from the elegant, yet beat up dress she had previously had been seen in. Nothing pretty that would be dirtied up by some blood. She wore a pair of black boots, raising up to just under her knees, while the rests of her legs remained bare. A pair of shorts would be around her hips, but the similarly black hoodie she wore traveled down a bit past her waist and was a bit too big for her. Her tail stuck out behind her, through a hole punctured in the shorts to let them out, snaking below the draping hoodie to reach air. Much more casual than before. With the hood of her hoodie pulled up over her head the two cat ears she had were nearly obscured, and were just barely visible if someone peered up into her hood and hair.

She would stand waiting at the meeting point, hands in the pockets of her hoodie.

Beat Down [Iko & Taiga] Empty Re: Beat Down [Iko & Taiga]

Taiga had fully recovered after her shameful defeat during the Chuunin Exam, but didn't let her defeat control her life. Through some unknown reason she blacked out during her assault on her opponent. She questioned if it was Genjutsu at work, or the air poisoned when they entered the scene. The trap was so obvious she could only blame herself for becoming too eager. Time has passed since she left the hospital and she was feeling like her old self again. Packing her gear and equipping herself with all of her necessary tools. Like any other day she wore her black sandals, black pants, and t-shirt. Under her t-shirt she wore another shirt, however this one had steel chain mail over the top serving as a means of secondary protection if all else failed. She trusted her armor in preserving her life in the most dire of circumstances. On her legs she wore leather shin guards which were lightweight and padded to not only decrease impact force, but protect her from some bladed attacks. These were paired with faulds which covered her waist and down the laterals of her thighs made of the same standards with her shin guards. Over her shirt she wore a basic leather vest which wasn't anything special being dark brown in color like the rest of her leather armor, but it helped add layers of protection to her clothes and mail shirt making her torso an undesirable target. She even had spaulders which covered her upper arms, and arm guards which covered her backhand up to her elbows.

Taiga wore a belt with her combat outfit which carried her four holsters, two on the left side of her belt and two on the right side. They were both blue, attempting to give some color diversity as green would match her hair. Around the front side of her belt she carried a tanto in a metal holster with leather safety strips tying the handle and holster together. Since it was the only weapon she carried up front it was at risk of being stolen from an enemy. That is she prepared ahead of time by securing it with a knot. She also carried a pouch on the back side of her belt where she kept the rest of her small weapons. She brought a medkit which was placed next to her hip pouch on her belt. Behind the pouch and medkit pouch she carried two sickles, one of them having a small chain attached to the base with a metal weight on the end. The chain and weight were wrapped up around the handle so it wouldn't get in the way when not being used. She wore her wooden staff along her back using a leather strap. It was her primary weapon since it gave her reach and it was easy enough to use and not a bad defensive weapon too.

On both hands she wore two iron rings, one on the middle finger and one of the ring finger. They were kakute, each being identical in having two pointy spike. They were facing outwards as Taiga fully intended to use a variety of weapons and she didn't want to risk poking herself. The spikes of each kakute were covered in a metallic green color suggesting they were coated with a deterrent. Even though they were hunting bad kids she never wanted to caught unprepared. After the Chuunin Exams she gained enough real combat experience to know a threat can be at any time of day, especially when you least expect it.

"I'm Taiga. You are my associate, Ikomiki, I presume?" It was a rhetorical question more than anything. She had a good feeling who she was. Taiga just wanted confirmation.

Beat Down [Iko & Taiga] Empty Re: Beat Down [Iko & Taiga]

Her partner would eventually arrive. Taiga, another Konoha shinobi. Or, perhaps not. Who knew who had loyalties to Konohagakure anymore after all the chaos that it had been through. The last Hokage had apparently been insane, and with the civil war that had nearly broken out and general insanity it was hard to imagine there being many shinobi left who were totally loyal to the village even with the new regime. Ikomiki could hardly say she had even the slightest bit of loyalty to the village herself, so she couldn’t judge others if she wished to go their own way. For now though they were just a couple of Genin in Kirigakure who had failed the Chunin Exams though, and so there was little they could both do about world events.

Her eyes would flash down to the kakute rings on Taiga’s fingers. It was a curious choice. Her choice of dress for this mission was in general much more professional than Ikomiki’s overly casual outfit. Taiga was much more prepared, and clearly took this mission more seriously than Ikomiki was. Perhaps that was for the best.

“I am Ikomiki.” She would confirm the question, her voice a monotone. “We’ve met before, back at the hospital. It was during Kureji’s recovery. Although we never spoke then.” She could vaguely remember Taiga from back then, although the memory was faint. Neither had introduced themselves then and it was only for a brief period of time so it would be understandable if Taiga had forgotten.

“You look like the serious type. Do you plan on using all that weaponry on these children?”
She would ask, eyes again returning to the kakute.
