    "Again."

Chika would take a step back as he took position once more. He'd been rapidly making progress on his sight capabilities, but he needed to go farther. 2 Strikes. 4 Strikes. 8 Strikes. 16 strikes. 32 strikes. 64 strikes. The training dummy fell over.

    "Too slow. Again"

Chika would pick the dummy up, making sure not to end his string techniques. After his fight with Ashitaka he knew he needed to become stronger and faster to fight whoever or whatever caused that sort of tenketsu damage. 2 Strikes. 4 Strikes. 8 Strikes. 16 strikes. 32 strikes. 64 strikes. The training dummy fell over again, the sound of something cracking could be heard.

    "Too slow. AGAIN."

He was the clan head of the Hyuga, and a rare protegy that only recently was being appreciated. while the clan wasn't a fan of his departure from taijutsu and him taking up Kugutsu, due to the war he realized he needed to combine both into a proper fighting style. He could do the 32 strikes almost flawlessly now, and the 64 strikes were just on the horizon. 2 Strikes. 4 Strikes. 8 Strikes. 16 strikes. 32 strikes. 64 strikes. The training dummy flew off it's hinges and properly cracked.

"Good enough. Now take up Yuru and preform the penultimate technique."

Chika would do so. Activating his strings Yuru's eyes would light up, her unwavering gaze lookng towards the new dummy set up. 2 Strikes. 4 Strikes. 8 Strikes. 16 strikes. 32 strikes. 64 strikes. 128 Strikes. The dummy didn't even stand a chance as it went down.

"Too much physical force. Try again."

Another dummy. Yuru was a mechanical marvel, something that was almost an ideal hyuga: String, fast, durable, and able to preform techniques not even chika could properly due yet due to his lack of speed. 2 Strikes. 4 Strikes. 8 Strikes. 16 strikes. 32 strikes. 64 strikes. 128 Strikes. The dummy stayed up this time, and the fuinjutsu on it lit up like wild.

    "Not. Fast. Enough. Again."

In order to properly learn the clan's techniques then he had one of the oldest clan members try to train his skills them, as his eyes were almost if not as good as a sharingan, allowing him to see what even his own eyes couldn't yet. 2 Strikes. 4 Strikes. 8 Strikes. 16 strikes. 32 strikes. 64 strikes. 128 Strikes. The dummy looked for a moment like it wasn't going to move, but slowly it fell apart, indicating the technique had been executed perfectly this time.

"Good enough. You get a five minute break, then we'll move on to Mountain Crusher."

Finishing his break, Chika would set Yuru to the side as he

"Next Lesson. You will practice the unique fighting style of Ijuken while simultaneously practicing Mountain Crusher. You will spar against Mako for this."

    "Understood."

Chika would take up the fighting stance of Ijuken. While the name was silly, the results of the style were effective. The harsh requirements of medical precision naturally lended itself to Juken and it's techniques, and Ijuken took advantage of that. Mako only knew of Juken, but the styles were close enough they could spar without worry. Chika and Mako would trade blows, Mako making sure to limit the amount of chakra he was releasing while Chika was forcing out as much as he could, the releases almost like small lances of chakra with every hit.

"Enemy 5 meters to your left!"

Chika would turn to the side, expelling a large amount of chakra from his palm. even without Byakugan one could see the disturbance in the air and the dummy placed to the side would fly off. He'd then duck under Mako's next attack and placed a finger on the boy's lower rib, forcing Mako to back off so he wouldn't get hurt.

Two Enemies, 10 meters to your 8 and 5!

Chika would spin on his toe, firing off two more heavy blasts of chakra at his foes, then avoided an attack from Mako. Taking advantage of the slip-up, Chika would then elbow the poor kid into his back and Mako would fall down, the lance of chakra force into him shutting enough tenketsu to keep him down for a bit.

"Final attack. Enemy right above you!"

Aiming his palm straight up, he'd expel more chakra and the dummy would explode, the pieces falling as beautiful shards of death. He'd then fire off another crusher to get rid of the shards.

"Better. You still need to improve your sight, but your accuracy has become a lot better. Now that you have a better basis for Mountain crusher, go and practice your accuracy while I go grab some more scrolls. Your training for the day isn't done yet."

Chika would nod, chakra fatigue not having caught up to him yet. instead he'd look to the hundreds of boulders within the old training field the clan used and lifted up his hands. He'd fire off one crusher, two crusher, red crusher, blue crusher. he couldn't stop his practice as his body began to ache. He had to improve, had to keep going. second by second, another boulder would be destroyed as the sheer impact of the chakra fired off blew them to bits. But he'd keep going. A rinnegan has many powers, but as long as he made sure to stay as far away from them as possible he could in theory have a chance, at least so long as he could keep the dead bodies at bay. Now that he thought about it, how could he combat that? if a body could move with no chakra system, Juken and Ijuken would be that effective. he'd need to think of how to deal with that.

"Good enough with the boulders. Now stop and practice this. The byakugan has limits, but that won't stop us, nor will it stop your puppets."

He'd look at the scroll in surprise. Silent Fist and Tenketsu Blocking Strikes. Sure he knew of them, but these were techniques he had been debating on using because the latter could in theory work with his puppets, especially Yuru. Taking the scroll he'd give it several looks, before trying it himself. He'd close his eyes, focusing only with the Byakugan as he slowly emmited chakra. the first fue tries were complete flukes, as he preformed body blow or an incomplete rotation, but he'd continue at it. Eventually though he'd grasp the fundamentals and he'd release a small amount of chakra from his body. taking several steps forward he was glad to notice that his steps were muffled, and while he was lighting up like a beacon in his own eyes, this would give him a better edge in combat. Taking the stance properly now and with Mako recovered, they'd go at it again. On several occasions Mako missed, not used to fighting someone who wasn't giving off sound, though their chakra sight still let them see what Chika was planning on a few occasions. Shortly after though chika would deal a decent blow forcing Mako to back off. Now it was time to start the Tenketsu Blocking Strikes.

Turning off his eyes he'd look to Mako and recalled where tenketsu were most often located. He'd then make the signature 2-finger pointer and jammed it into the boy'd body. it hurt Chika, like a lot, but Mako reacted in an even more surprised manner as he had kept his eyes of Chika's the entire time. Even without his eyes on he knew his strike landed true and the Boy fell over, putting a hand on the area as he passed out.

"Enough. It seems that you have a good enough grasp on the technique that practicing against Mako won't be enough. Use the technique against me."

Nodding, chia would take a stance and try to strike the elder, who shifted slightly and took the hit, but no tenketsu was sealed. Chika would try again and again, but to no avail. frustrated he'd restring up yuru and have her try it, this time forcing the elder to bring his A-game and block several of the strikes, but one still got through and the man was forced to back off.

"Good. I know the last of your training you wish to do alone, but I like to stay and see how our clan leader will fair against six of our men. Is that Okay?"

Chika would nod. "That is fine. have them come at me eyes opened and hearts ready. I will defeat them all."

The six men came, and Chika has his puppets at the ready. The plan was for him to try and push them back as far as he could, even outside the fighting area if possible. The area was cleared out except for them. Activating his eyes once more Chika would string up his puppets and immediately keep track of the six major opponents as well as his puppets. It was something he'd been working on, a way to keep up with his mechanical marvels while not loosing sight of his opponents while on combat. it wasn't perfect, but every small part counted. Moving his puppets in he'd be able to see his opponents more clearly as they tried to move in, but he wouldn't let them. While Loyal wasn't being used as he'd need to sit on to of the 'pupper', the rest were fair game. Faithful was fighting a smaller but nimble man, Dutiful a larger man who wasn't doing well with his small fear of spiders, Loving and Mocking fighting a Duo who kept switching places, Uptight fighing an average fighter, and Yuru was keeping at bay the Elder, probably the only puppet that could fight a man as skilled as he was.

However, Chika was slowly making progress and he strated to thin his strings while putting more chakra into the attack. It has been something he'd been working on to try and fight the strange Rinnegan user as while dead bodies were fine and all, they had a limit. And if he could force the limit maybe the mystery puppeteer would have to give him space to fight. Eventually the fighters would retreate out of Chika's normal range of 60m, but he was ready for that. He'd make it seem like he couldn't go any farther, but then he'd have all the puppets make a quick strike outwards, surprising all but the Elder, which was better progress then what he expected. Now his foes would have to think on their feet, as they didn't know how far he could have them go out to. He'd continue to push them back, Chika seemingly having the advantage as they got farther and farther away. And most of them went down, but the Elder was still moving, and slowly getting an upper hand of Yuru. As his greatest puppet, that couldn't be allowed to happen.

Putting more chakra into his strings, he'd have his remaining puppets make their way to the man who was starting to piece together how far Chika's Advanced range could go. But with him tripling the original range now, his puppets had moved around to ambush the older gentleman. Thinking he had it in the bag, he'd make another strike on Yuru that damaged it just enough that Chika had to pull back. The Elder chuckled, thinking that he had pulled it off when Four humanoid puppets struk him in the back. The man crumpled from the impact, and after trying to get up a few times gave up. Watching the man's lips with his Byakugan, he could see him speak.

"Congrats young Chikamatsu, you really have improved your craft with the power of the All-Seeing Eye."

Picking up each of the men with his puppets, he'd bring each of them to his location so that he could heal each and every one of them. Some of them were far enough out he'd need to keep up his range improvements, but overall the fight was done, and this gave him some practice for healing people with Yuru as well. With the elder as far as he was, it was safer just to transfer his chakra through the strings and heal the man that way through his puppet then to move him and rick further injury. But he had done it, and now he felt ready to take on whoever it was that dare challenge the Hyuga clan. The question was, would his skills be enough to take on the Rinnegan?
