It was noon when Kanara woke up. After all, her last night had been pretty... chaotic, and the massive headache she had was a reminder, of what too much cheap sake and sushi would do with someone, if they werent careful. Slowly sitting up in her bed, the headache got worse. Gradding herself out of her bed she went towards the kitchen, ripping open a bag of milk before pouring it inside a glass and drowning 2 3 spoons of cacao powder inside it. Not too healthy, but being a shinobi by profession wasnt too healthy either so it wouldnt make much of a difference she figured. As she sat down, Kanara began to list all the things that happened last evening. Her friend Zarah came over, like they agreed to do. They made sushi together and ate it while talking about the ususal. Uchiha stuff, city rumors, and shinobi stuff. However the evening took an unexpected turn, once Zarah pulled out some bottles of sake. While the two were at it each of them must have downed something around like 2 bottles, their chatter getting louder and more explicit every sip they took. The climax of the evening however was when they were blatantly talking about the uchiha next door and the things Zarah wanted to do to him if she had the chance. This alound wouldnt be a problem, if it werent for Kanaras balcony door that was wide open and said person sitting behind his house in the garden with his family, having an barbeque. Needless to say, the his reaction came unexpected, weres he shorthandedly came over and actually took the completely surprised and shocked Zarah on a date. Normaly she wouldnt accept this as she allready was appointed with Kanara, but Kanara on her side understood and teold her explicitly to go with him if she wanted. After all, Kanara and Zarah intended to wingman each other, not c***block each other, and she knew for a fact that Zarah had a crush on him. This however left the now alone Kanara with 2 more bottles of sake.

Shaking her head she snaped out of her memories. She allready wasted enough time of the day, now it was time to become active. Preparing another chocklate milk and packaging the sushi that survived the last night she made her way out of the uchiha district into the direction of the senju woods. An ideal training ground. Lots of inanimate targets, much space and no bystanders of any sort, ususally. Halfway through her journey she stopped at Zarahs house. Not even bothering with knocking she took a dull kunai, attached a note to it and gently threw it onto her windowboard before continuing her way.

Once she reached the senju wood she sought out a small group of seperated trees near the river. She had trained a few times before there, ususally because the water drasticly lowered the chance of collateral damage when training her water jutsus. Picking a cool spot near the river she put her backpack down before putting the bottle with chocklate milk into the cool river water, so it could stay cool. Warm mild was something that kanara that kanara learned to hate. Approaching the trees she stretched as she planned her training for today.

The early morning sun beamed down onto her closed eyes. Dahlia slowly shifted her previously limp arm to block the sun as she slowly woke up. The cold air brushed against her already chilled skin. She must have fallen asleep in the forest again after some late night training. She needed to avoid doing so in the forest until the warmer seasons started to return. She might end up getting herself sick at this rate. She slowly climbed down from the tree grabbing her back pack on the way down.

It was about early morning at this point given how far the sun was in the sky. Most of the world would be asleep right now or going to work. Good. She didn’t want to deal with the staring. Her Imaginary friend Yasu appeared next to her in her usual dark clothed outfit, black hair, and green piercing eyes. She was holding her other imaginary friend Dove. Dove had on chand sewn odd clothing that looked fashionable despite being clear patch jobs. Her long sky blue hair draped over her back as her icey blue eyes were hidden by her eyelids as she napped.

Yasu kept up the piggy back ride but used one hand to wave to Oliver Dahlia’s younger cousin as Dahlia waved to him as he raced by to go to the academy. He wanted to be a ninja too…. Dahlia had even given him her old notes to help with his personal training. She had been proud of him for the longest time… she still was. It just was a thought that hit me differently now that she knew what faced the boy in the future.  16 or not. Whenever he’d see real battle it would change his life forever. Sadly not in a way that would likely be for the better.

‘No child soldiers… yet they still recruit at such a young age.’ Yasu said simply in Dahlia’s head as they walked.

‘I agree. However there’s nothing we can do about it.’ Dahlia replied back in her head as the two continued silently on towards her house.

Once there she watched the imaginary Yasu head up to Dahlia’s tent on the roof. Her eyes then moved to her aunt looking though her mail. She wanted to ask if there had been any word from their family. However she knew from her aunt's expression alone that there still wasn’t any. So instead she offered her a kind smile… or the best she could manage only to get a half hearted one back in return. She then made her way inside. She had been trying to go in the main door more often now that she was able to bear through being inside buildings for longer without getting too panicky. She then got a shower and changed into new clothes before lingering at her mother’s bedroom door.

Flashes of the memories of her fight with her mother, and the day she talked with her aunt about her mother’s journals. As well as how her mother had been afraid of her for over 8 years. Her brows frowned a bit before she went upstairs to the roof to shuffle through her things. Thanks to it being early afternoon by now it was much warmer than before. She stretched sitting down in her tent pulling out her notebooks as well as some scrolls on Medical Ninjutsu. She figured she could stay home and read a bit before heading back out so she had some more time to warm back up from the night prior and to eat.

In other words, it was back to the old grind now that she was home. Study, train, work, and try to plot out what exactly to do next. She had before thought she could just try and go to find her family but now with it only being the 3 of them here she couldn’t just leave them on their own to look for her mother and the others. It felt like she was trapped even more so than usual.  Not too long into her reading she started to get antsy so she decided to grab some food and head out to her usual spot where she usually trained and camped out in the forest.

One her way to her spot she took in the scents of the forest. She had noticed after her return from the battle at Heavenly emporium she had gotten significantly better at her coordination, as well as perception. The second one only got better whenever she was in forested areas. It felt like she could track almost anything at this point with how well it was working. What she wasn’t happy to find was the scent of another person in the area as she approached a lake area not too far from her usual camping spot. She sighed seeing someone else setting up their things there.

‘Wow the forest really seems to just get more popular every day huh?’ Dove said in Dahlia’s head leaning back with her hands behind her head.

‘Agreed….’ Yasu started with crossed arms and a sigh in her head.

“At least it’s not some creepy old man claiming it's not creepy that he’s lurking around cause he was Hokage once this time…” Dahlia muttered out loud to the other girls shifting her backpack a bit on her back.

Kanara didnt notice the new arrival. Not only because she still was focused on her on stretching and lost in her mind, planning todays exercises and what she would do after, but also becasue her hearing was normal at best. After all hearing didnt really benefit her while she was at full speed anyways, so she had to rely on the thing that was faster then sound. That being light, or rather sight to be more precise. It was almost frigtening how good ones sight became with the sharinggan, the uchihas sacret kekkei genkai, which on top of being restricted to her clan, only awakened in specific situations, making its appearance rare to a certain extend. Speaking of it, Kanara decided that now was a time as good as ever to use this special sight of hers for her training. Closing her eyes, she channeled her chakra and opened them again, revealing a single tomoe on her now completely red iris. Pulling out a scroll with detailed instructions and example drawings for various taijutsu combat techniques special to the hidden leaf she let her eyes fly over it. Another advantage of the sharinggan. Reading at laughably high speeds, compared to normal people. Folding the instuctions neatly again before storing them inside her pocket, she decided it was time to start, as she was getting cold from only standing around.

Turning her attention towards a lower hanging branch of a nearby tree she thought about the instruction she just read. Approach the target at high speed... designate a weak spot on it to not injure your foot... make yourself smaller while approaching... stop at once and convert the power of your momentum into the strike... stand up quickly again, like a spring, to use every bit of power you can get... follow up with further attacks if wished. Breathing in slowly Kanra sighed. She wast too hapy about the fact that nearly every attack with the strong fist style utilised the feet, but she couldnt deny this techniques strength. Charging into the direction of the tree brach kanara did as the instructions said, finishing with her foot connection with the branch, braking it off and setting it fly a few meters.

Kanara, now jumping out of the way of the branch, as it came crashing down on the spot she stood before, after finishing her technique, spotted something inside the wood. Seeing it through the redish "filter" her sight had, it appeared to be a girl. Waving her hand slightly she tightened up a bit. After all not many people were up so early in the morning, and if they were, they had a good reason for it usually. Still unsure about the new arrivals intentions she decided to aproach her. Once she got cloer to her, she gretted her:

"Hey there and good morning! Are you here to train too?"

Dahlia watched her a bit before noticing her eyes. An Uchiha.

‘Woooow the leaf really is littered with those guys aren’t they?’ Dove said with her nose stuck up in the air a bit.

‘So it seems' Yasu replied with a shrug.

Dahlia eyed her as she moved. She herself wasn’t big on Taijutsu but she had learned enough in her studies to at least know the style. Strong Fist. It utilized the legs no doubt due to the fact that the human legs usually could pack a stronger hit then the arms given many kicks could add in the weight of the user into each attack. Which means every new muscle not only made you naturally stronger but added more weight to each blow for every muscle fiber you grew further.

‘Wow she really showed that tree not to steal her lunch money.’ Dove said with a nod before giggling.

‘I mean trees are pretty durable so I could imagine how much that’d hurt to take a blow like that…’ Dahlia thought back to Dove shrugging as she looked off a bit. #EA5E13‘Come on let’s go somewhere else…’[/color]

‘Too late.’ Yasu said, pointing to the waving girl. ‘This Uchiha is a friendly one.’

Dahlia sunk into her shoulders a bit looking fully back over to realize the girl in fact was on her way over. But subconsciously she already knew that given her perception picking up all the girls movements and growing scent. Dahlia wasn’t too keen on socializing. She was getting better at it but it had been a while since she had done so…. A few weeks to be more specific given Heavenly Emporium was actually more battle tactic talking than socializing.

‘Don’t worry. It’s not your job to be liked. That’s my job. If you mess up, nothing is lost.’ Yasu whispered to her in her head.

‘Yeah what Yasu said!’ Dove exclaimed as she split off to start dancing among the fallen leaves in the corner of Dahlia’s vision all while Dahlia did her best to keep her eyes on the girl in front of her, and not the other two in her head. ‘Also you’ve been silently staring at her like a chore for like 15 seconds now so you should probably say something if you're just gonna keep scowling at her.’

“Oh um…” Dahlia started out loud blinking as she focused on the girl in front of her more now; that was the other issue… her friends were more prevalent now so it also made it harder for her to socially focus while looking normal… it’s part of why she hadn’t seen Tengoku again yet. She didn’t need him suspecting there was something wrong… “Yeah. I was going to work on a new jutsu I’ve been making… Didn’t mean to interrupt your training. I figured no one would be out here.”

Post 2

The new arrivals behavior both relaxed and surprised Kanara. After all, from what i looked like now, the girl in front of her was either confused or didnt expect to meet anybody out here. Also she also didnt seem to eager to talk to her, more surprised or annoyed that Kanara actually went over and greeted her, so it semed unlikely that she followed her. Answering her kanara responed:

"Well its ok! You werent interupting me, i just started anyways." Letting out a shy laughter she continued: "My name is Kanara Uchiha, and we can train together if you want, after all there is more then enough space for both of us here and maybe we can even teach each other something!" Saying this she pulled off her jacket, giving the otehr girl a glance at the long sleeved pullover that had a large uchiha fan on the back of it.

Not realising that her sharingan was still active, Kanara turned back to face the girl, placing her hands at her hips, while settign up a warm smile. She didnt expect to meet somebody out here after all, but the possibility of training with another shinobi was too good to not take up on it. Looking quickly at the sun she realised that she needed to eat her food soon, as it would toherwise go to waste, and she had packed too much for her alone anyways so she asked:

"Do you like sushi by any chance?" Realising how weird this question must seem without any contect she quickly followed up: "I.. I have some with me.. eh, in my backpack i mean, not on me right now, like those bags arent big enough for something like this, you know..." By the time she ended her sentence her voice almost showed a hint of the stuttering she sometimes eemed to have when she got embaressed, and the slight red on her pale cheeks seemed to underline the point that she in fact was embaressed. First from her question, but then from the way she continued with it. Like all situations, Kanara often overthought things.

Bringing her hands shyly together she waited for the girls response.

"Soo... uh..."

'Shy laughter.' Yasu stated as she paced around Kanara thoughtfully. 'I thought the Uchiha were supposed to be prideful…'

'Could be a generation thing. Yuichi was pretty shy too.' Dove called over in response.

"Dahlia Fedcon… I guess we could try… I don't usually train well with others." Dahlia said simply.

Dahlia sighed a bit before setting her backpack and vest down, tightening her ponytail she usually had her hair in. She raised a brow at her eyes, still being in the sharingan. Was her training so intense that she still needed those…? Maybe she was training them themselves. She then blinked at the sudden question. Then slowly nodded at her clarification as to why she was asking.

'Slight stammering, underline flushed cheeks…. Based on your mother's books she's probably embarrassed…. But why…?' Yasu questioned looking over the girl curiously but with a serious tone and look.

"I just ate." Dahlia said simply pulling out one of her notebooks and pens. "Feel free to eat without me."

Dahlia said simply opening up her book flipping to the latest jutsu she had been working on. Lighting Bugs and Fireflies.

"What are your elements, and skill set?" She asked simply to make some notes on the jutsu she had thought on since her last working of it.b"Mine are fire, lightning, and primary Ninjutsu, coordination, and battle planning"

Dahlia wasn't really elaborating but she figured she could see where they had similarities and where they didn't for some possible things they could work on at the same time by either teaching the other, or learning at the same time. After all, the girl was older than her so she probably knew more than Dahlia….. probably.

Hearing Dahlia, Kanaras face lightened up a bit. Appearently she didnt notice her blushing and slight stuttering, which in return made Kanara relax a bit. She havent had much contact to children when she was smaller, except a few that she called actual friends, that she could rely on. Watching as Dahlia pulled out a small notebook as she denied her question.

Thinking sharply about Dahlia's next question, it took some time for Kanara to produce a good answer. What were her skills? After all, the only thing she really had going for her was that she could use the fire element, even if she didnt train it too much, and that she was fast. Faster then most other people.

Hearing Dahlia count out her skillset kanara came to think. Coordination and battle planning seemed odd to her, but still viable. Most likely she was a ranged fighter, trying to stay away from enemies as much as she could, while planning an attack order and unleashing wrath with her elemental affinities. Now certain of her answer Kanara replied:

"Well i am pretty fast and like to approach my enemies hand to hand if possible... Aside from that i can do a few fire jutsus i learned some time ago...." Thinking further she added: "I dont really plan much ahead in a fight... i try to get close as fast as possible and maybe use a jutsu on the way thereto distract an enemy."

While it sounded pretty lame when Kanara said it, it certainly wasnt a bad strategy, although simple in both theory and praxis. Reaching an enemy would keep them occupied form using real jutsus and hurting her in return.

"Ill get my backpack quickly!"

Turning around she took off towards the river, where she stored both her bottle and her backpack, letting Dahlia stand there with her notebook, hoping to have satisfied her question. Upon reaching the backpack she let chakra flow trough her body like she did so many times before, makin gher faster, while also physicly weaker. Taking her backpack she ran back to Dahlia, now significantly faster.

Suddenly the girl was happy? What did her declaration of her have'n already eaten kill her embaressment some how? Man people were so weird sometimes. She nodded listening her her skill set.

"Id suggest learning how to take hits, or avoiding hits then. Being fast isnt useful if you don't know somethings coming, and I doubt your sharangain can cover you on that front totally." She advised. "Alternitively you could look into jutsus that could light your body a flame to make those who actually manage to land a hit physically to wish they never did as well as give yourself more power to your quick attacks."

She said in a way that came off as advice, but also as if she was thinking over her skill set and possible short comings at the same time. After all she was just mostly thinking outloud currently.

"Maybe even some ranged jutsu that you can control the tradrectory of to manipulate your oppent closer to you faster and or potenchally an attack from behind while you attack from the front…" she paused shaking her head. "You'd have to learn how to dodge your own attacks thaen at that point too so it could be risky…"

She muttered a bit thoughtfully. She then watched her leave to get her backpack before shrugging looking down to her notebook thoughtfully.

'Unless you send those into the air you can't really test them with her running around.' Yasu said thoughtfully looking down at the jutsu she had written down.

'Not unless were suuuuper careful.' Dove chimed in.

'Dove…' Yasu said sternly with and eye roll.

"No youre both right… but if I split the swarm into a half of its size I can send it up into the air at max distance before triggering them and avoid injuring her. I'd just have to warn her before hand." Dahlia muttered to them.

'It's not meant to split and divide though.' Yasu said thoughtfully.

"Doesn't mean I can't change it to be. After all I made the jutsu. Whose to say I can't change it?" Dahlia said with a shrug.

Returnig to Dahlia, Kanara thought about her advise. After all, what she said made sense and was correct and the part about igniting herself has something to it. Maybe not with her current attire but the armour she planned certainly was an option for that, as well as the materials that she researched about. After all they showed a great potential for and against fire based jutsus so learning something like this would certainly benefit her.

Reaching Dahlia once more, now with her backpack and bottle, she pulled out an notebok of her own, letting her eyes race over the drawings of the armour she was making, until coming to the page where the kunai was drawn. Looking closely at it she decided that it would be very beneficial to learn something that could utilise the special kunai she was working on.

"Do you know any technique that would allow me to enchant a weapon with the fire element? I have plans on ordering one soon." Flipping her notebook and showing Dahlia a detailed drawing with measurements of the kunai for a second she continued: "Or maybe some kind of jutsu that i can use while in close range?"

Taking a last look at the kunai she switched the pages back to her armour. If it worked as she thought it would, then it would be an amazing piece of protective equipment. Nearly every inch of the armour was designed to be protected by either thich material or sloped armour, while giving the wearer optimal mobility and excellent heat resistance. And while she wasnt particularely frightened of getting hurt, this armour would recuce the change of getting hurt greatly, alone through the materials properties.

Closing ehr notebook now and storing it inside her pocket again she opened her backpack, taking out a box full of last nights sushi, opening it and proceeding to eat a a maki roll, while waiting for Dahlia's reply.

Dahlia glanced back up to see the Kunai that the girl had sketched out. She frowned her brows a bit before blinking.

“That would be a question for the crafter…. There's no general shop that sells anything like that though. Do you have a private crafter in mind? I’d ask them about that… Also how much are you spending on that? You're putting actual silvershine and gold into it... “ She said actually doubt was founded before nodding. “Yeah I made a jutsu that sounds about what you’re talking about. Though it may not fit into your current skill range.”

Dahlia set her notebook down before taking a step back. She had done this jutsu many times by now so it didn’t require much focus for her at this point. Especially not in the forest. She performed a series of hand seals before closing her fist. Out the back end of her fist a focused stream of fire chakra came out in a refined shape that looked like a 2 ft long blade. She held it up to be seen better.

“I call It Razor Burn. It's a B Rank Jutsu that requires at least advanced skill with your focus and coordination. I sometimes even boost its power making it equal to some A Rank Jutus. It can be sustained so long as you get the chakra, and keep your fist closed. It’s limited in that way, but given I’m not trained in Kenjutsu it isn’t that much of a drawback for me.” She relaxed her hand to let it dissipate just as fast as it had formed. “A friend of mine taught me some other close range jutus’, but they’re electric based. So they also wouldn’t likely be the best for you to try to learn.”


She shrugged then walked a bit away to get into a reading stance. She might as well start practicing her new jutsu. Fire would likely be a bit dangerous in the area so lighting would be the element she would do. She took a deep breath in closing her eyes as she envisioned the hand seals in her mind. Then the chakra. Every bit of the electricity coursing through her and her mind. Then the small sparks that fell off the main bolts. Slowly each bolt turned into tiny sparks, each spark forming a ball that looked like Lighting Bugs at midnight.

Each one filled with outstanding power to be respected,and for it to respect the user that had created it. She really did appreciate what Ten had taught her to envision processes she had made up for herself when making new jutsu. She then opened her eyes as she performed the jutsu without hand seals thanks to the lighting element. She waved her non dominant hand off to the side of her and a bit behind as small orbs formed behind her forming into a 10 meter wide cloud of 1000s of these 1cm balls of light.

They all hummed with electricity around her back as she took a deep breath in keeping her focus. She slowly guided her arm forward leading the cloud around her to in front of her. She then slowly expanded out her hand dividing the cloud into 2 separate ones of 5 meters in size. She then moved her arm a little to the left then right moving the swarms in opposite directions then back towards each other. Good she was right she could divide it, but it did lessen her control a bit with it. She’d have to be careful with that in the future.

She then waved her arm upwards sending the two swarms up into the air at C+ speeds to about 30 Meters high where it couldn’t hit anything. She then clenched her fingers towards her palm as if clenching the air exploding both of the swarms into 2 15 meter wide explosions of lighting and electricity. She slowly stood up, wiping some sweat from her brow built up from the focus and slight nerves she had trying to ensure nothing got hurt in the process of using that. She had certainly come a long way from nearly hitting herself with her brown jutsu on the Hokage Rock.

Kanara listened to Dahlias explainations with great interest. Was she said was right though. There was no shop that sold kunai made like these, which meant that she needed a capable craftsman for a task like this. Not that she didnt allready look for someone that could bring Kanaras theories into shape via metal. Answering the question about the price of the kunai Kanara replied:

"More then i should spend. However if i done the maths correctly, then a weapon crafted out of it is worth it, and should be made with high quality materials. Besides, if a crafter is able to bring my plans to fruition, it will a weapon that will last me a lifetime."

Watching as Dahlia clenched her fist, suddenly carrying a long firey blade on the front of her fist, she listened to Dahlia. While it certainly sounded powerful, it wasnt really what Kanara had in mind anyways. What she ws looking for was to make a weapon maybe have a effect close to the one she saw from Dahlia's razor burn, however using her kunai as core, so she could block projectiles with it and use it instead of her hand to amplify her Katon element. After all she did the maths dozens of times at home. If the material was even nearly as sturdy as she tought it was going to be, then it would be nigh indestructible and have excellent properties for the Katon element.

Watching as she relaxed her fist and the flames flames disappearing Kanara looked Dahlia back into the face. "This jutsu of yours certainly seems powerful. Remind me to not make you angry any time soon, you know?" Letting out a small chuckle Kanara continued: "Though you are right. This technique wouldnt suit me most likely. At the moment most of my combat techniques are executed by my feet, so when i switch i will definetly need to take use of the kunai i am planning. Maybe make it super hot or something... Besides, this fire blade doesnt seem able to stop an attack, or does it?"

Continuing to eat her sushi, Kanara watched Dahlia perform her jutsu, greatly surprised that the Kunoichi didnt seem to need to use any handseals at all. However her attention quickly got drawn to an intense swarm of small spheres of electricity that formed around Dahlia. Watching as she brought her arm up the spheres followed her command, before detonating them.

Muttering to herself she said: "Oh, i dont wanna be caught in that", before proceeding to think about her further training. While the day was still young, she came here to train after all.

Dahlia shrugged at her reply. So long as she knew the cost it was up to her if she wanted to pay that or not. Dahlia lowered her hand a bit silently. She knew the girl didn't know her history, but making her so angry she lashes out physically at others was something she was known for by now. So it was something that stung a bit to hear.

"Based on the attack it could… sorta hard to attack if I cut the arm off of the attacking person before it lands…. I probably could cut through most low grade throw weapons too if I'm fast enough to do so." She said flatly despite how graphic her first example was. "After all that blade was made to cut, not melt or block. So if you can think of a counter using cuts it should work if you physically can perform the task."

She relaxed her arm when the jutsu finished glancing over to Dove who was cheering and dancing around excitedly. Then to Yasu next to her with an approving smirk. Dahlia gave a slight smile for a moment. She was glad she had them to cheer her on. She was glad she had them at all. She stretched as she walked over back to her notebook writing in some new notes with her new addition to her jutsu. After she looked up to the other girl.

"So what's the plan? You said you wanted to train so what's your game plan?" She asked as she put her book away into her backpack

She wouldn't need it for now since her other plans to train jutsu wouldn't be something she could really train in front of others for secrecy sakes. Kanara watched as Dahlia seemed to look at something that wasnt there, or hidden to the point that not even her sharingan could register it. As one of the sharingans amazig feats was the detection of chakra of any kind, it meant that if it in fact was somebody hidden, she must have an amazing perception and the thing she looked at an equally amazing ability to hide themselfes. Deciding to not let Dahlia know that Kanara noticed some kind of strange behaviour, Kanara thought out loud as she read in her manual:

"Well, we can try to make to train together in terms of syncronity. Linking our attacks together in a way that we are efficient and dont hurt each other. After all i think we will meet maybe more often, and it is never bad to prepare fighting together with allies. Or we could try to spar a bit... Although that either seems dangerous or unfair." Elarborating further she added: "You know, if we use ninjutsus one of us could easily get hurt, and if we just use taijutsu i have the feeling that you wont be able to keep up with me speed, so either way its bad." However this wasnt the only reason she advised agaisnt sparring. While she trusted Dahlia that she wouldnt try to kill her, she made bad experiences with other uchiha before, that decided it was worth nearly killing the other, in order to preserver the slight bit of pride and honour they had. Thinking baout that made Kanaras blood boil. It was back then, during a training when she unlocked her Sharingan because of the very reason, and while some uchiha might argue that the things she gained there were worth it, Kanaras stil beat the boy that attacked her after he yielded nearly senseless. Also she really didnt want to get caught inside one of Dahlias ninjutsus. After all if something happened, the hospital was away quite a bit, so it could easily become life threatening.

Looking back at Dahlia now again she concluded: "Its your decision really, i am fine with nearly everything." Thinking shortly she added: "Well, maybe you could show me a bit about fire style ninjutsus if you know a few good ones... I kind off only know one." Scratching her head she let out a small embarressed laughter, as she waited for the other Kunoichis answer. After all it was kind of embaressing for her. An uchiha that only knew a single Katon technique was like a fish not knowing how to swim.

“There’s always risk in training as shinobi.” Dahlia said simply with a shrug. “Also I may not be as fast as some others, but I’m no pushover when it comes to close up fights. Nor would I use most of my Ninjutsu on you. I don’t have many that don’t outright maim others let alone could kill.”

‘Behold! The glorious person that is old enough to achieve Chunin! See as her mystical age suddenly makes her no longer a child and suddenly, legally alright to let die in a field over yooooou!’ Dove called out motioning to Kanara like she was a grand prize winner. ‘Seriously no offense to her but it’s kinda twisted that from a legal stand point she’d be more likely to be chosen to go fight and die when she’s concerned about simply hurting each other in a spar…. Then again it’s sorta messed up how willing others are to do that.’

Dahlia kept her eyes on Kanara as Dove skipped away.

‘She’s not wrong… if Tengoku hadn’t had his little hidden squad heal your bones we would have been down for weeks just in time to be unable to get money for the family… It’s only natural for kids our age and her age to not be struck by large rubber balls with the size and power of a bowling ball to get their ribs smashed.’ Yasu agreed as Dahlia’s mind centered on how messed up the system was.

She knew Tengoku just wanted her to be ready when the time came, but clearly not everyone was getting her kind of training… clearly a few years of age wasn’t changing much in people… and Dahlia heavily disagreed with the no child soldier thing. Not that children should go to fight adult battles… but the fact that the new law prevented child soldiers. 16 year olds in her eyes were clearly still children. All that law did was limit more capable fighters, while sending unknowing slightly older children into fights and telling them they are adults now much younger than they should be to be adults.

She appreciated the attempt but still.

“Our skills excel in different areas so were both going to out skill the other no matter where we go with things. So it’s a good thing that were not fighting for keeps. This is just training. We don't have to go all out just to compete with each other. We can just as easily refine things together.” She thought back to Tengoku and his training with her; she wasn’t as good as he was currently but she was significantly better. “How’s your chakra control? That’s something both of us need to practice no matter our skill levels as well as something that is needed in every task regarding chakra as a ninja.”

She offered up with a shrug setting down her scroll hearing her request on fire style ninjutsu. She listened to her nervous laughter before connecting a bit. She was an Uchiha that knew little fire style, the Uchiha staple… Yuichi seemed like he was ashamed of holding no element all together… their clan must look down on those who lack skill.

“You’re heavily skilled in many ways even more so then some your age. If your clan is not pleased with your progress then I suppose they can just suck it up and leave you because you're doing your best. Family and clans should raise you up, not make you feel inadequate.” Dahlia said firmly with frowned brows, unknowingly projecting just a little with her feelings of how her mother’s books made her feel compared to how supportive the rest of her family could be. “I can show you plenty of Katon Ninjutsu.”

She crossed her arms relaxing a bit thinking of some jutsu that may be within the girls skill range.

“Focused Amplification could be good. Once trained after attuning it to a singular element you can use it alongside any jutsu of that element and make it an entire level stronger with just one additional hand seal of a Snake at the end of the new jutsu you wish to use that's Katon based in element. I could teach you my first jutus I learned, The Great Fireball Technique. I’m sure you're probably familiar with that one but if not its name explains enough. Exploding flame shot, you set your hands on fire and throw fireballs at people causing them to set aflame, or explode with a 5 meter explosion. Its range is based on how well you can throw normally so it could be more close or far range based on your skill.”

“That’s about the only ones that I think would work out well for you to learn under the Katon element. My other jutsu aren’t Katon that I think you could learn with your current skills.” She said simply. “Take your pick if it suits your fancy they’re not too rough to learn either… or at least they weren’t for me to learn.”

She had though about tossing in Phoenix Sage Fire but if the girl wasn’t skilled enough with her coordination that could make a forest fire… or worse, badly injure one of them like she had almost done to herself when she first learned it.

"Hmm, this focused amplification thing seems pretty powerful" However it wasnt the only thing that lead Kanara to choose this technique. Anything with an exploding radius was good against large groupd of enemies, however it also hindered her movement. Chances were after all that Kanara was moving faster then her ranged ninjutsus, which was problematic to say the least. After all, the thing she needed least was to get nailed by her own technique, or to have to wait until an attack like this maybe hit her enemy. However learning the exploding flame shot also seemed to be a good ability, given the fact it set once hands ablaze.

"And maybe also the exploding flame shot if you dont mind me showing." taking another maki she put the box full of sushi back into her backpack, getting ready to train. Tightening her all strings on her clothes, she checked if her boots Were sitting properly. Turning her attention back to dahlia she started talking with excitement: "So i assume you show it to me and i will follow and copy your handseals, right?" Getting the chakra inside of ehr ready she smiled happily as the warm feeling of raw energy surged within her. Stretching her fingers she moved next to Dahlia, while still keeping some distance to her. Her shiny red eyes were glued on Dahlias hands, clearly intending to learn whatever  series of handseals were to come.

"Maybe i can teach you some taijutsu later?"

“If used correctly, yes it is.” She started simply waiting for her to get ready. “Exploding and simple setting ablaze. Both aspects are important even if they don't seem like it at first.”

She eyed her when she took her position beside Dahlia Dahlia quickly noticed her only staring at her hands as she made her annoying assumption. Why did every other kid her age think jutsus worked that way!

“First up maybe however my training focus is elsewhere so Taijutsu is not my focus currently…. Secondly.” She did a series of rundown hand seals before ending them on a middle finger while the other hand with a semi jaz hand behind the middle finger. “It's not that simple.”

She stated firmly about the just copy and do. She lowered her hands with a twitching annoyed brow.

“If it was I could just say put a snake seal at the end of your jutsu you want it on and that would be that. You may be able to learn low rank jutsus now with that mindset, however the moment you try for anything higher you’re going to come to a standstill. There is a reason this jutsu requires the user to pick one element to attune it to… it requires proper training and focus on that one element. So much so you can only ever have it amplify one single element… ever.” She pinched her temples before relaxing her tone a bit. “A jutsu can not be learned by just anyone who slaps their hands together… Why is that? Think about it. It requires proper chakra control, focus, then application.”

“That however only activates the jutsu from there you need to know how to use it. Either through aiming, controlling, or simply understanding how to skillfully use it as well as knowing its shortcomings. Knowing how to fire an arrow doesn’t mean you will immediately hit your target without practice and knowing how. Additionally if you place this on a jutsu you aren't ready to control you could potentially increase the danger and hurt yourself in the process. Or even your allies. A jutsu is not an on and off switch Kanara. It's an art.”

She’d let that sink in for a moment before speaking again.

“Close your eyes please… and yes I know your Sharaingan is on but humor me.” If she did or didn’t Dahlia would continue. “Imagine your chakra flowing inside your body. How it can morph and mend into an element of your choosing. It is wild and can act on its own with or without command. If you simply force it out without caution nor do you know how you run the risk of yanking it out like a wild cat. It will claw and attack. Jutsus are in each their own right their own separate beasts. One you must learn to properly perform. However, if you do not understand your own chakra you will never learn any advanced jutsu.”

If she had her eyes closed she'd tell her to open them before holding out her hands.

“My friend explained this to me in his own way a few months ago.” Dahlia focused her chakra in the palms of her hand to make a ball of wild chakra that she slowly refined into fire in the shape of a crude lion's head. “He could make a dragon made of lighting chakra that could phase though a tree without harming it. He could mend trees with lighting just by having enough control. Never once using a single jutsu. He told me that if you understand chakra is dangerous but if you respect it it would work with you.”

She let it burn away before lowering her hands.

“To learn Focused Amplification you need to understand this concept. The jutsu utilizes an additional flow of chakra to flow into another jutsu inorder to empower it. If you can not understand the flow of the two jutsu or your own by themselves, flowing one into the other will either not work, or backfire. Without putting it into another jutsu it maybe a bit hard to tell if you did it correctly. However if you allow yourself to focus on your chakra you should be able to feel the flow difference as you practice this technique. So your task is as follows.”

“Practice morphing your chakra into fire inside of yourself. Controlling its flow in a small section to small section in a continuous movement, then it coursing through your entire body. Next perform the snake hand seal and practice flowing the chakra inside of you outwards. When you think you have it perform any Katon jutsu you have with the snake hand seal at the end. Flow your additional chakra at the same time as the main chakra in the same manner to increase the strength of the jutsu… if its ranged aim for the sky…. If you set the forest on fire I will kick your ass. Questions? Comments? Concerns?”

Dahlia seemed agitiated. While in her mind she probably was rightfully so, she wasnt in Kanaras, who choose to ignore it. After all she knew the machanics of fire based ninjutsus, she just hadnt trained them yet. Caring little attetion to the warnings Dahlia spoke, Kanara focused on the important part. After all she was neither a child, nor not able to use Katon. Ninjutsu amplification. Certainly it would make her fire element stronger and more suited for her combat tactics.

Swearing Kanara stormed forward, leaving Dahlia behind, her mind deadset on rescuing the fished and putting them back to where they came from.

"Nonono no no no. Hold on you slimy things, I am coming!"

Dahlia rose a brow when the girl started on one of the jutsus she had suggested not too long ago incorporating the jutus she just tried to teach her into. Then shot the fire balls into the lake…. Then promptly threatened the population count of the local fish. Dahlia rolled ehr eyes a bit with Yasu who stood beside her with her hand on her hip. She walked over, helping a few back into the water gently while letting Kanara and her speed handle the majority. She then sat down by the water’s edge placing the last one in and watched it as it swam from her hands into the water to meet with the rest of the fish where it slowly calmed down. It was back with its family. Safe and content….

“You could have told me you already knew Exploding Flame Shot when I listed it off to you…. Also If you’re not aiming to possibly injure life in the forest don’t fire off into the forest.” Dahlia stated simply as she watched the fish.

‘Don’t you think you were a bit abrasive on your own end?’ Yasu stated as she walked over right before Dove cannon balled into the water before slowly rising up from it with a fish on her head and a silly smile on her face. ‘Perhaps this is why you only have us and Tengoku as friends?’

‘Good thing she only needs us and Tengoku then right?’ Dove called over. ‘And of course she was abrasive! She was sharing her feelings. Besides, most people in the village hate her anyway, who cares if another person does when she was just trying to give them advice.’

‘Were supposed to be helping her feel better, not perpetuating the issue, Dove.’ Yasu lectured as Dahlia slowly moved to hug her knees a bit, staring at the fish more. ‘My duty is to help her with being socially what others want her to be. Yours is to help her feel free and have fun…. Don't help her be self-destructive like you’ve been doing lately.’

‘Like she needs my help to be self destructive. She’s been doing it for 9 years before she ever met us, Yasu. It's part of why were here!’ Dove called back as the two voiced the sides of her mind that tried their best in any way to help tell Dahlia what she was doing wrong, as well as her feelings that always worked against her.

Dahlia gripped her leg a bit tighter before finally getting up.

“I don’t think you really need my help training.” Dahlia said simply walking back to her things. “Sorry or whatever…”

Dahlia tried to apologize for her behavior but still lacked the right charisma with her words that just came off standoffish.

Finally being done setting the fish back into the water, Kananra who was now dripping we turned around towards Dahlia again. She seemed agitiated. Trying to explain herself Kanara started:

"If i fire it in the air, chences are its gonna come down again. If i fire it in the water it should have done nothing, however this amplification technique of yours does its job well. It does what you said and even more. Last time i saw this technique it by far didt have so much power behind it."

And after all it was true. Last time she saw this technique used during a training against another uchiha it wasnt nearly as powerful as now. Explaining further she added:

"Also i trained some of those techniques allready... i just forgot them again, so the concept of a few of those arent new to me. The amplification however was new to me, also..." Looking at the fish that now were approaching the same position they got blown out a few minutes before she continued: "... no harm done to the wildlife here."

Either were the fish kinds learn resistant or had a memory that got close to Kanaras in terms of forgetting stuff. Walking behind Dahlia as she went back to her things, Kanara looked at the sun, only to see that it was up hig allready. The temperature dint tell, so Kanara assumed it was a generally cold day, as she asked: "Would you mind doing a break and grabbing something to eat?" As she picked up the half full box of sushi. It surely was dangerous to eat now, so she decided to trow it into the water, as a peace offering to the fish she just scared. An offering they gladly accepted.

She just let out a bit of an annoyed grunt at her explanation. She had fair points, and Dahlia had plenty of counter points. However she didn’t feel like arguing at the moment so she left it be. She let out some air from her nose at her statement about wildlife. She was right… however she only managed to voice gave Dahlia more of a reason to lash out… which was good; for both of their sakes.

She pulled on her vest before blinking as the girl took her leaving as a cue to take a break not to end the training. She looked a bit annoyed though that only turned to disturbed as she watched the girl feed the fish other fish…. Aka sushi. The fish quickly took it… she feared, and respected those little troopers… Dahlia then sighed out a bit of a grumble putting her things away before grabbing her back pack.

“Fine…. Where to…?”

Her face lit up as Dahlia agreed to her offer. Grabbing her things too as she swung her backpack on herself Kanara started speaking, counting the options up on her hand:

"Well, that depends on what you like? Do you like meat? If so, wet or dry foods? I mean something like ramen or grilled meat."

By the time she finished, Kanara looked thoughful for a moment. After all what she was about to say next was risky to say at least, however she still would do it. Looking back towards the river she lifted yet another finger up as she spoke out another option:

"Or would you like fish by any chance??"

Turning back and looking at Dahlia she slowly let her hand sink down as she deactivated her sharingan. After all she would need to conserve some of her chakra for later, if she wanted to train more. Looking at Dahlia with big eyes she waited for her response, using the time to walk closer to her, so they could head back to konoha together. While walking a small smile came to her face. After all she seemed to maybe come out of this today with a new friend. Even if Dahlia didnt seem to interested now, maybe she was playing hard to approach. A game that Kanara knew well.

Dahlia eyed her when her face lit up before shrugging putting her hands in her vest pockets. Dahlia thought for a moment and went to answer only to hear the suggestion of fish. This girl was just as savage as the fish… she could respect that. She felt pressured a bit at the intense staring the girl was doing with her big eyes.

'They'd almost be cute if they weren't watching you so intensely' Dove statedly flatly before being shooed off by Yasu.

'Be nice. Dahlia stops staring at her eyes and responds you're gonna creep her out in the process if you don't' Yasu stated refocusing Dahlia who had just been staring into the other girls eyes for a long period of time.

"There's a grilled meat place next to that popular ramen shop on market street… My family goes there a lot so its probably good. We could go there." Dahlia stated before turning on her heels to walk back to the village.

'Look she's actually smiling despite your behavior!' Dove snorted with a laugh.

"Nicely done. Seema you lucked out." Yasu stated simply before the two vanished to let Dahlia focus more on her current situation with Kanara.

Going into a short sprint, Kanara closed the gap between then before positioning herself next to Dahlia. Strolling besides her she let her eyes wander around the landscape, matching Dahlias speed with ease. Putting both her hands in her pocket she occasionally took a look at Dahlia, trying to make a sense out of what seemed to bother her. In one moment she was slightly agitiated, and in the next the was normal again. Concluding that the reason that she earlier packed her things so hastily was that she likely was in need of a bathroom, Kanara assured her:

"Im sure we will be in the city soon."

WHil esetting up a comforting smile. She either wasnt good with interpreting peoples emotions or spot on, and now she had a good feeling about her skills. Picking up the pace a bit, in order to not let Dahlia feel the need that she had to be slow to let her keep up, Kanara began to hum a song she heard recently, while going through her head with what she was going to eat in th erestaurant. While she craved her favoirite seafood, she also was eager to dig into any sort of cooked or fried meat, especially cow.

Sighing about the thought of her last encounter with an especially ferocious being of this kind of animal. She was forced to flee onto the roof after all to escape the wrath of the angry male land mammal, which clearly was trying to kill her. Thinking back about this day, it was especially bothersome, considering that she even put on one of her best robes in a beautiful wine red colour that day.

Reaching the city walls with Dahlia, Kanara continued her walk towards the restaurant.

Dahlia jumped a bit at the girl’s sudden arrival at her side. Yeah her ability to notice ofast things has gotten better  but its sorta hard to notice when you’re not looking forward to them suddenly being next to you. Dahlia strode forward with a grumble but didn’t bad mouth her this time. She scrunched up her face a bit each time she was stared at before shrugging in confusion.

“Yeah cool?” She didn’t know why the rate they were approaching the city needed to be pointed out.

She even gave her a comforting smile… Why did she feel like she needed to give her one of those? Dahlia’s brows then frowned a bit at the sudden humming. Why was she humming? Man this girl was… Dahlia sighed. It was rude to call others weird… besides… the humming while walking through the forest was… not so bad actually. She couldn’t remember the last time she just relaxed while walking with someone in the forest. With no goal outside of further relaxing in mind… It was odd how nice it felt. Then again she had wanted someone to relax somewhere where she felt safe with her for so long she had stopped asking for it a long time ago.

It almost felt nostalgic in a way. Throwing her back to before she had moved to Konoha… back when her father was still alive. They went on walks every day back then. He even let her put flowers in his hair as they walked only to get yelled at later by  her mother because half of them were ones her father was actually allergic to but they both had found them so pretty they put them in his hair anyways. Those days normally ended with her relaxing in her fathers lap while she read with her mother studying advanced lessons she thought were just normal ones back then.

Things were so simple back then for her. Just wake up, kiss her parents cheeks and hug them till they woke up. Go on walks with her father before he left to hunt, study with her mother, and play with local wildlife until late into the night where they would all sing, dance and laugh around a campfire. Her mother was never scared of her, and her father alive and well…. Now she knew there were way more things going on behind the scenes that whole time but still the feeling of bliss from the memory was one she rarely had the chance to cherish anymore given how busy she was.

She missed that life… She missed that happy relaxed girl she used to beagle to be. The one Dove resembled so much… She looked over towards the humming girl once more with a very slight partly hidden smile. One that left as she saw the city in range… the city with walls that had felt like a cage for years filled with people who had learned to hate her for her outlashs she had growing up. Sadly reality had come back. Her peaceful time in the forest is gone. Replaced with the ever growing reminder of the city.

As well as the burdens, and tasks she had to do in everyday life… as well as the reminder of who everyone expected her to be and told her she had to be. Even the role she had forced herself into out of a sense of duty left behind by her father. It was hard to see why so many people loved a place like this. A place that lost air with every day threatening to suffocate you with each passing moment worse than the last breath you took a breath. But can to the city she went… she did agree to food after all….
