Bored with Boars

Mission:

It was well after midnight when Ren and Kanara left the old man's farm, his arm once again wrapped around her waist as they walked together. Ren decided to take the long way back to the village as he wanted to enjoy the night with Kanara, and by long way, he directed her away from the village heading west. Considering they both knew which way the village was, it was likely Kanara would question why. Ren would reply with a simple, "just enjoy the night air and the view of the stars." His tone would be stern but not rude or bossy in any way, in truth this was all just a ploy to extend their time together. Ren enjoyed her company in more than one way, and would use just about any excuse he could think of to get that time with her.

His fingers would lightly caress her side as they walked, he knew which spots were ticklish and which spots caused other reactions with her, and he would ensure to only run his fingers along the latter of the two. Though he enjoyed her laugh, he enjoyed her leaning her head on him as they walked more, and the second ensured that she did just that. Ren would lose track of both time and distance, as he simply enjoyed holding Kanara as they walked. "You know these woods are pretty private," Ren stated raising an eyebrow with a chuckle as he looked around after a while, though fully intended as a joke he wouldn't object if the woman decided she wanted to do something other than walk.

Whether she decided on taking a 'break' or not, they would eventually make their way out of the woods. From the edge of the woods they would be able to see a village off in the distance, the flames from the towns torches whipping in the wind. Ren would look over to Kanara and just slightly shrug his shoulders, not wanting to disturb her resting her head on him if she still was, before beginning to turn around and head back to Konohagakure, as they seemed to have walked further than Ren had originally intended. As they would turn however, they would hear the sound of hooves running across the ground as well as growling and squealing. Turning towards the sound they would be greeted by a pack of seven wild boar charging towards a small field at the edge of the small village in the distance.

Ren would let out a sigh as he looked to Kanara, releasing his grip on her waist. "We should probably do something about that," Ren would state solemnly as he looked back towards the charging boars. He wasn't exactly excited at the fact that he was going to have to protect another farm rather than keeping his arm on Kanara, but he couldn't just walk away when there was a chance to do something to gain notice. But if didn't have to be a total bore, as a thought crossed his mind Ren would look back to Kanara. "What say we make a bet, whoever kills the most boars gets to decide where we go on our date tomorrow." Ren had a wide grin on his face as he made the offer, curious as to whether Kanara would accept the bet, considering he had not asked her if she was available or wanted to go out again. He stated that tomorrow they were going out and that would be that, though Kanara could refuse both the bet and the second date, Ren would speak with all the confidence that she would accept or that she didn't have a choice because he was taking her out.

After getting Kanara's answer Ren would take off after the boars determined to win the bet, forming a string of hand seals and catching one of them with relative ease, taking it down with his exploding flame shot technique before heading to take down a second. His Kunai weren't sharp enough to pierce the hide of the boars, so he had to rely on his jutsu if he was going to win this bet. Catching two more with his flaming dragon bullet technique, Ren would look to find Kanara had also dealt with three boars meaning the one who killed the last boar won. Ren would start to form hand seals but before he could finish the string, Kanara had already killed the little beast. Ren let out a sigh of disappointment before clapping and bowing playfully to Kanara, "Well, it's clear you are the winner." He stated kissing her as his hand wrapped around her, "So where will I be taking you tomorrow?"

Being next to Ren and held so tightly certainly had its benefits, Kanara thought to herself as they were walking in the moonlight, back towards the city. At least Kanara thought that until she noticed something weird. A tree she had passed many times before. A tree which was an indicator that they were going away from the village as opposed to it, back to the village. Looking at Ren, she would chuckle out: "You know that we are going away from the village, yeah?", to which ren replied about wanting to have a walk and to watch the skies. Bringing out a surprised: "Oh..." she would look slightly away, beginning to blush again, before laying her head against Ren's shoulder. He was just a bit higher than her, which was a true bliss for her. Exactly the right height difference for kisses but olso other things.

Bringing her lips up to Ren's face, she would blow a kiss onto them, before going slightly back and feeling his fingers being in a rather ticklish area of hers, making her go back to to his side right way, cuddling as well as embracing the warmth of his body in such a night. Hearing his comment about the woods being private, Kanara would finally straight up blush and mumble out: "H-here? Its cold you know... and... you know... others might hear...", missing the joke and thinking that Ren might really do naughty stuff in the senju forrest of Konohagakure, however it didnt take too long until she caught up and replied forthermore in a chuckling tone: "Oh you know... id rather do that at home after eating something... at least its warmer there..."

With her declining the offer now, ot wouldnt be long until the duo found its way out of the wilderness and back into t he direction of actual civilisation, shown by the fire of the city torches. In hindsight it was even strange that they havent encountered any patrol yet. After all, usually those were equipped with a sensory type in order to spot people going towards or away from the village, and this was no different at all. During their walk, Kanara had even closed her eyes, letting Ren lead her through the forrest, certain that he would take care for her and watch out so she wouldnt fall. Being woken out of her semi-awake slumber now, she would open her eyes and let them look around before she spotted what Ren was reffering to, that ebing a group of wild boars. Looking after them and letting out a small sigh when he brought up the fact that it wasnt much for them to intervene, she would give out: "Sure... we are already out. No reason to get anyone from inside to do it. When the prospect of a small competition came up however, she began to grin and gave him another kiss, stating: "We are having a date tomorrow? Sounds good!", before looking towars the field whre the board had been seen earlier, and taking a few steps back from Ren.

Watching him take down a boar afterwars with an exploding flame shot, she would be waiting until he took out a second boar, she would blitz off and engage the boars in melee, her fast and precise cuts taking care of the animals with ease, before rushing back to Ren, who declared her the winner. Chuckling as she said: "You let me win and used only such low scale jutsus...", before Ren connected their lips once more and kissed her, pulling her closer in a way where she couldnt resist, before the two of them headed back to the village, this time for good.
