The Bear Necessities

Mission:

Ren and Kanara would be returning from the border of the senju forest and the land of wind, though he wasn't sure about Kanara, but Ren felt weak. It could have been due to the blood loss that had been caused by his wound, despite being fully healed thanks to Kanara but Ren would not say anything out loud about it. Even weakened as he was, Ren would hold Kanara tightly with his unharmed arm, both for support to prevent from falling but also in an attempt for him to act as though everything was fine. Yes, his shoulder hurt from the blade attack, but he was going to live and that was all that was important. He hated the fact that Kanara had to save him back there, not that he wasn't thankful, but more that he had been so weak that he lost so easily. Their walk back would be peaceful, which was something that Ren needed, though without saying it out loud he doubted it would be noticeable. Kanara was able to heal the shoulder blade preventing any more loss of blood, though that mattered little in comparison with the amount of blood he had already lost before she had healed it. Doing his best to show that he was ok, and the only reason he was holding on to her was because of how much he cared for her.

Luckily for Ren there didn't seem to be any more trouble along the road and some him walking with his good arm wrapped around Kanara's waist would get them most of the way back, though at a much slower rate than when they had been on the wagon. They were almost back to the village when they would both hear a large and angry roar that would sound as if it had come from a giant. Ren would look in the direction of the Roar, or at the very least the direction he thought the roar had originated from, before looking back to Kanara. "Want me to go check it out?" Ren would ask with a smile, doubting that Kanara would allow him to simply run off on his own in his current condition. In truth they wouldn't need to split up at all as soon the ground would begin to shake slightly as the sound of loud approaching footsteps could be heard mixed in with the occasional roar or growl of the beast that the feet belonged to. Approaching from the distance charging towards the pair at a rapid pace, no doubt having sensed the blood from Ren from the distance and drawing the beast towards them. Ren would release Kanara's waist steadying himself and ensuring that he didn't fall as Kanara moved away from him. He lost track of where Kanara had gone too, but the bear was still charging towards him. If he didn't know any better, Ren would have thought Kanara had run off to save herself, leaving him there as a distraction so that she could get away. This of course was not the case and was not even something that would cross his mind, as after these past five or six days since he had met her, Ren had absolute trust in the woman. They shared a bond, and with that bond came a unique understanding of the both of them, they cared for each other, and they trusted each other, what more could he really ask for.

As the large bear continued to get closer to him, Ren would stand his ground, waiting patiently as the beast drew closer. Forming a string of hand seals, Ren would release his fire dragon flame bullet technique enhanced with his focused amplification technique at the large beast, though even with the increased power of the technique the large beast did not seem to slow much. With its fur rendered to singes, the now hairless bear continued towards Ren, who was quickly forming another string of hand seals. Out of nowhere at least from Ren's perspective, Kanara would appear delivering the final blow to the beast before walking back to Ren. 'She is such a showoff, but Goddamn is she sexy,' Ren would think to himself as he watched her approach him from the now dead remains of the Bear. He didn't think her showing off was a bad thing either as he rather liked strong women after all, which was probably why he could already feel a rise in his pants as the woman drew closer. Once Kanara had returned to arms reach, Ren would grab her with his good arm and pull her to him and give her a passionate kiss, "That is twice now you have saved me, my sweet. However, am I going to repay you?" though his words started as sincere, as he asked how he was going to repay her, his voice would become slightly more playful. Mostly due to the fact that he already knew exactly how he was going to repay her, and he was sure that she did as well. But first they needed to get his shoulder looked at and taken care of. Then he could look into repaying her or perhaps the correct term would be how to reward her for saving his life, one thing was for sure though, Ren was going to be bringing Kanara back to his house for some rest as well as fun.

Walking back to the village, her lover or boyfriend or whatever this beautiful thing they had going was, was holding her tightly with the arm that had been spared from injury earlier on. While she certainly noticed the small things about him, his breathing, the way he walked when he held her now as opposed to yesterday, the way his fingers here grabbing onto her skin and the fact that he was slightly pulling onto her, he tried hard not to show them. Chuckling slightly to herself she thought: "He wants to be strong around me... does he fear that i am stronger?", before she gave out openly: "You know that i am still stronger even if you try to hide it now, right silly?" in a loving tone before pressing a kiss onto his cheek, continuing their pace back to the village for some time.

It wasnt until they were getting close to the village that Kanara was torn out of her day, or rather evening-dreaming, when she heard a roar coming from the forrest. Thinking about it she had seen some things in the forrest not too long ago and the fact that the sound was one she was familiar with, her face darkened and she stated: "Oh well... didnt need that one...", before looking at Ren and smiling briefly at him. While a part of her wanted to tickle him inti submitting that he wasnt well, she quickly decided against it. While the life danger was gone, there was no need to agonise him by this. Instead she kieed his cheek once more and told him: "Lets check it out together, shall we?", before the sound was getting closer and Ren was releasing her side. Staring at him and then back at the bear for a few seconds, she would give out: "Or... Just give me a moment..." befor eshe blitzed off, into the forrest.

Once inside she saw that two bears where actually there and coming into the direction of her boyfriend. Forming the a quick handseal she would stare at the 3 clones that had fomred around her before nodding towards one of the bear, letting them take care of it. "Death by a thousand cuts i guess..." she thought to herself and watched the other bear, following him even as he came closer to when the trees ended and burst through the underwood, going after Ren.

Watching him forma few handselas and bring out a fire technique, she wouldnt be surprised that the bear didnt get killed by it. The fact that the bear instead still was heading towards him however impressed her. After all, Bears were wild animals and every wild animal feared lightning and fire alike. Reagardless of that, she couldnt allow the bear to take a bit out of Ren. She wanted to have all of him for her own. As such, she blitzed after the bear, eventually even going as far as to go on top of it and to stab it into its head, making the animal drop dead after a few meters and nearly throwing the Uchiha down, if she hadnt been so coordinated.

Coming back to Ren with a rather unbothered expression, she wouldnt notice the bulge in his pants before she was pulled back into his arms again and brushed over it with her hand by accident. Chuckling as he brought up the prospect of repaying her, she would give back out: "Well... i need new underwear... someone has stained mine with some weird stuff, you know?", before bursting out in in a relatively quiet laughter. Naturally Ren would know who this someone was. But for now, there were more important things to take care of, those being his shoulder for example adn the fact that he needed to get it looked at, if only to be given some meds for blood cell reproduction and pain killers. After that, she was sure that Ren would try to have more of his plans go through, even if they likely would be conducted only with one hand.
