Kaida jutsu training extravaganza[Open]

Raika sighs as she watches Gyo fail spectacularly at even attempting the technique, causing his wooden sword to go flying as he fell to the ground, likely getting his clothes coated with dirt. Not wanting to be caught out by Kaida using another technique too quick for her to follow, the newly minted Chuunin focuses on improving her eyesight to greater levels so she catches everything that Kaida does with this next technique as soon as she starts to move her blade, instead of learning the technique only when the stranger uses the technique slowly enough for everyone else to follow. Raphael had taught her to use just such a technique to allow her to catch sight of an opponent by focusing chakra to her eyes and ears, enhancing her ability to keep vigilance.

For this reason, and the fact that the Hazy Moon isn't being used against her, she's able to track how the technique is used, but only just. What she doesn't see, she's certain she can learn through trial and error and by focusing on what feels right while she's using the jutsu. She takes aim at a dummy right next to Kaida's own, lifting and slowly raising the axe-bladed half of Kabutowari in a circular motion, leaving behind afterimages before rapidly closing distance between herself and the dummy, using the weight and momentum of her weapon to let her cleave the dummy and its post all the way to the ground, where the post is split in half vertically. As soon as she completes the technique, Raika steps out of the way again, moving to stand next to Azrael and nodding once at him. When she speaks to her teammate, she speaks somewhat low; if others try to eavesdrop, they would hear her talk to him, but only if they were trying to listen in on them.

"Sorry. What were you hoping to learn from her? I dunno if she knows any party tricks like yours, so I think you've got her beat in that regard anyways."

The man who seemed to have no knowledge about the art of Kenjutsu attempted to join in on the training he indeed was either holding back. Or making a mockery of the training spent teaching these kinds of techniques yet he did not hesitate to go out and fall upon the earth floor. In turn causing Blitz to chuckle a little bit before ceasing. As he returned back they now were instructed upon an unusual move that seemed to happen in a flash right after she was done demonstrating the form. Another skilled technique for a well oiled killing machine he could only dream of the possibility of making it to such a height in the world. As she was done the same result was seen: the destruction of the training dummies began once more as she now passed it onto the shinobi.

Once more the young kunoichi took the lead demonstrating it was anything they could really do if they got a hang of it. Destroying the immobile object as she made her way towards the white hair menace. Minding his business he simply went back to focusing on the task at hand stepping up to the line as his target was a little more out. Compared to the last two it seemed Blitz would rather attempt to wield the mighty Samehada. Aiming for an isolated one seemed the best solution wrapping both his hands around the handle so he could only feel the weight of the blade once more weighing on him. Something he indeed had to grow accustomed to as he pointed Samehada towards the dummy and began rotating the blade in a circular motion. Blitz focused on tuning out the world around him before launching towards the training dummy leaving an afterimage trail behind him. Having Samehada shred throw the dummy as the tip of the blade was now revealed leaving half of the bandages upon it. Patting the sword before placing the beast of a weapon upon his back he could only hope he did the best he could. Making his way back he had hoped to see more of these training exercises.

Gazing over towards the male who fell earlier he hoped to see him also attempt this technique. Watching him made him wonder if the life of a shinobi isn’t good enough for him and what his motives are in life. A shinobi with no interest in combat made him wonder what else could’ve been done.

Azrael watched as the cheerful man attempted to try the technique that the woman had shown them, his head tilting slightly as the man fell though would remain silent. Wondering to himself why the man would attempt something if he wasn't sure he could do it, surely, he had to know he needed beforehand experience with weapons to do something as advanced as what Kaida was showing them. As he turned his attention back to Kaida who began explaining the next technique, Azrael would let out a quite inaudible sigh from where he was on the sideline as he watched the others, growing bored with the fact that she was showing techniques that did him no good. With the exception of his Ijutsu he did not get physical with combat, relying heavily on his Genjutsu. Azrael would idly flick his earring causing his small bell to ring, thinking about a new genjutsu as he watched Raika perform the technique the woman had shown without fail, his eyes briefly drifting to Gyo, wondering if the man was going to attempt this technique as well or sit it out as he was before looking back as Blitz performed the technique.

The entire time he watched he would just every few seconds flick his earring to cause the bell to sound, though he was only thinking about the genjutsu that he would use as to not affect those that were training around him. The technique but a simple genjutsu that would slow his opponent down and eventually cause deafness, messing with their equilibrium to mess with their body movement and their perception. One of the few genjutsu that he had that he would be able to use to give himself an advantage against someone who was physical, of course there was also the chance that those he did use it against could figure out it was a genjutsu and break free. That was something Azrael was working on improving that situation, hoping to limit those that could resist his illusions. It was something he was doing for himself while he waited to see if Kaida was going to show them anything else that he might be able to learn from her.

Kaida would sigh clearly her students that cant use Kenjutsu was bored, one had the gall to learn Genjutsu during her lessons, but still, she did not blame them. She had some non-elemental jutsu they could possibly learn. She would smile and motion for them to all pay attention finally this would be something they could possibly learn.

"I understand some of you cant use swords so I have some non-elemental jutsu I can teach you, this jutsu and its line are called Lions Mane. So watch me as I show you how it's done and see if you can follow my actions."

She would use three hand seals before her hair would rapidly expand and grow longer as she was clearly using it defensively around herself. She would prepare one more jutsu as she showed her hands outside the hair and prepared a secondary jutsu for this jutsu. Using Ox handseal suddenly tons of needles left the hair aiming for s dummy as it began to bombard the target heavily.

"This can be quite useful for defense as well as offense, of course, you need to have a good amount of hair but its very effective."

Although Raika allows Kaida to draw her in to learn another technique, even Raika is getting a bit distracted, particularly with the odd man that had shown up in a cart with some sort of equipment that was now mimicking their movements, and although he seemed to get the movements down, she wasn't sure he'd actually be capable of performing the technique, save maybe if he were to choose to train with more focus in weaponry as Raika had needed to before she could have wielded her sword effectively. Both her and Blitz had been able to learn these techniques quite handily, and now Kaida was instructing them in some form of non-elemental jutsu, further boring Raika who was often much more focused on physical attacks. She considered it fair that these other two get to learn a technique, even if she wasn't entirely interested in it, until she heard the name of the technique was Lion's Mane. Her interest is piqued once again, and her attention is locked on Kaida with a great deal of intensity.

She watches Kaida as she goes through the handseals, showing them how her hair is turned first into a mostly defensive, protective covering for her, encasing the woman in hair that has been enhanced with chakra, before another handseal results in needle-sharp strands of hair to eject from her cloak of hair to pierce the dummy all over, surprising Raika that a simple ninjutsu could be so brutal. She's the first, and potentially the only one to try it out, as she's not sure if Azrael or Blitz have enough hair to do the initial technique effectively so she stands up and frowns as she focuses on using her chakra in such a way as to fill her hair with the stuff. Raika performs the three handseals, tightening the focus of her chakra just like Kaida had as she sends chakra all throughout her hair, causing it to become thicker and sharpen and making her raven-black hair puff outwards all around her. With one more handseal, she focuses her attention on another training dummy, blocking everything else out while sending out her hair like needles to assault the dummy from every angle, stabbing into it deeply and at intense speeds. She grunts as she releases the final handseal and lets the rest of that focused chakra go. Raika doesn't bother looking disinterested now; these techniques would certainly have their uses.

The training was simple things were being learned and a shinobi seemed to be lacking but yet he continued to stay. Blitz could only smile at his resolve to stay even if he wasn’t learning anything he did see him from time to time paying attention. Whatever his tactics were indeed he was a shinobi not showing his true skills to the rest of them yet this was his assumption. Giving out a sigh he wondered if the male came to blow off time lifting his hand up Blitz waved at the male signaling him over. During this time something shocking occurred.

Kaida herself increased her length of hair and thickness of it turning it into a mighty weapon. Blitz himself was stunned to realize this was a jutsu he heard about in stories. Such a jutsu he based his on yet it was the original not having enough hair made him wonder if he was able to even grow out his hair. He sighed not even trying to attempt this skill as he barely had hair himself. Yet the young kunoichi once more stepped up to the plate claiming another mastery of the arts such achievements were nice to see amongst his peers. All of them seemed healthy and strong regardless of how they saw him from the outside. He enjoyed seeing them grow and become stronger.

Raising his hand as he skipped his turn to try such a jutsu he knew he did not meet the requirements but yet he stood still and observed the shinobi do their work. Maybe this was a skill the mysterious shinobi himself could develop. He did have more hair then the Yuki but would possess the capabilities of pushing out the technique. He could only wrap his mind around the fact that he seemed to know the women who held this teaching event. Yet the world was indeed small, maybe he knew her before she became what she is currently.

His turn was over but he was indeed happy to learn some more techniques related to swordplay. Hopefully a skill such as this would come in handy to the others when in a tight spot. Rubbing his chin he could only think of a proper introduction to meeting this stranger wondering if he was really a shinobi. Or was he here for his own fun yet there was no hostility given off from the shinobi he could only think of the possibilities that could occur.

Hearing that she was going to show a technique other than a weapon skill, Azrael would perk up slightly as he sat up to watch as Kaida demonstrated the technique. Though he would frown as she states that it required long hair to begin with, his own hair far too short to be able to use such a jutsu. If he had one in which would allow him to grow his hair out beforehand that might allow him to use such a technique but as it stood right now, he did not know of any so it would be futile for him to try to perform the techniques that she was showing them. Watching Raika perform such a technique was not surprising for him to see considering she had a fair amount of hair, however the most surprising was seeing Blitz calmly waiting for something else to try as he too had short hair. It was just surprising that the man would have the patience considering how rash he always seemed to be before, this was a mild improvement compared to the sparring against the strange fellows that were part fish. Azrael would debate on trying to do something else but instead decided to wait and watch to see if the woman was going to show other interesting things, because while he couldn't do these techniques, he found Ninjutsu as a whole quite fascinating.

Raika shrugs when it seems that Azrael and Blitz weren't really capable of following suit on the hair techniques, since they had very little hair of their own to begin with, but at least this time around the odd man with the strange wagon is capable of doing one of the techniques, though he doesn't bother following it up with the other technique, instead simply using the Lion's Mane technique to cause a great lion's face appear and open its mouth in a silent roar. She raises an eyebrow when he flips his hair over his shoulder and makes a point to the other two boys that they should grow out their hair and take better care of it, and she manages not to scoff at this statement. In any case, the training session feels over for her, and she has better things to do now, so she waves goodbye to the others before leaving the training field with the knowledge of the jutsu she's learned from the stranger. Although she does take a detour to get a bite of fried fish from a nearby delicatessen, the training had made her a bit hungry.

OOC: ATTEMPTED THREAD EXIT, it's been almost a week.

Gazing upon the male after being teased about his hair it appeared the young shinobi herself was done with the training. Blitz smiled at Gyo and Kaida before bowing his head slightly and waving as he walked away. Peeking a glance at the Red Eye Demon he could only grin at him before giving him a little wave. Heading out from the training field he felt something was accidentally accomplished during this training session.

The others would be taking their leave, and after a moment of waiting Azrael would follow them out of the Training Area. It seemed that was to be the end of this training extravaganza, he was slightly disappointed in the fact that he was not able to learn more from the strange woman, but satisfied with the fact that he learned more about the others that were there. Without a word Azrael would turn to leave the two ravens perched upon a nearby tree branch would caw as the moved to fly after the white haired male. Soon the ringing sound of his bell earring would fade into the distance as he took his leave.

Kaida would smile as her students began to leave, she was glad she was able to teach most of them something useful, unsure if Gyo learned anything but everyone else seemed to. Now it was time to prepare, who knew what she would have to do next, but one thing was certain she was strong and needed a goal. What would she do from now on, she was not sure but she wanted to crush all threats to her village this much she was certain about.

"Time to leave and find something to do, it was rather fun teaching others jutsu, I thought I would hate it but not as much as I thought."

She would exit the training field back into the village, it was time to get a nice drink and some food, she did a good deed today and at least helped Kiri grow a bit stronger.
