B.D.N. (Brilliant Dynamite Neon)

Mission:

Anzo sighs as he arrives on location for the bouncer position at the jazz bar, expecting it to be somewhat boring, if a little relaxing compared to the usual missions. He occasionally gets offered a drink, which he refuses with a smile and a wave, and sets it aside without even bothering to pretend to drink it. Inevitably, it seems to peeve off at least one patron, although he never seemed to do more than give him dirty looks every time Anzo was provided with a drink that he then denies or sets aside without even taking a sip. Meanwhile, Anzo gets to enjoy some nice jazz.

Eventually the last female singer leaves the stage for the next performer, and the man that had been giving him the stink-eye also gets up, but he explains to his friends that he's heading to the john. But Anzo watches him, and with his angle at the doorway, he's able to see the drunk patron stop at the door to the men's restroom, look about for a moment, then walk past the men's restroom to go further back, towards the backstage dressing rooms. Anzo nudges one of the other bouncers to let him know that he needs to use the restroom, and the bouncer shrugs, but wordlessly takes his spot.

Anzo quickly but calmly makes his way around the outside of the jazz club to the back hallway, passing right by the men's restroom just as there's a sudden loud clattering noise. The genin is already there to see the drunkard approaching the singer that had been on stage a few minutes ago, thankfully still clothed, but her eyes clearly wide in fear with the drunkard's back to the door of the dressing room, and his face towards the performer. Anzo rapidly extends one of his arms, using the Soft Body Manipulation fighting style he'd learned long ago to whip the man upside the head and knocking him off-balance so that he tumbles sideways. The Aburame quickly follows it up by using an improvement of the Chakra Enhanced Strength technique, a fighting style that even increased the weight that he's able to both lift and carry rather than simply being able to deliver strikes. With intense chakra control, Anzo is able to lift the man above his head and single-handedly carry the drunk right out of the back door of the jazz club, before throwing him into the slime-covered wall normally reserved for unfinished swill and uneaten bar food. The force of the throw certainly knocked him out, and probably knocked a few teeth loose.

When Anzo returns, the bouncer makes some remark about how long it took him in that bathroom, and Anzo simply responds that he had a lot of water before he got there to start his shift. The drunkard's friends, however, didn't go looking for him for the rest of the night; they probably didn't care that much for him, either.

After several hours, the night ended without any further incidents, although the performer gave him an odd look as she left, and he waved her off as she tried to thank him.

"No no, it's quite all right, ma'am. It's a very quiet night and it's just my job to keep it that way..."

As the jazz club is shutting down near the morning, Anzo accepts his pay and then skedaddles, moving on quickly to the next mission.
