Diana had never properly visited Desert's End, but when she had heard of reports of an attack near the border after delivering the Daimyo's daughter back to Tsuchigaito, she had immediately made her way over. As small as the chance & connection may be, Chen might have been involved with it and she would not have a second incident happen again. If the attack on Suna was any indication, it took several days, so she felt as if she could conserve some chakra by not using mayfly this time. Hopefully her gut was right and this was just an unrelated incident.
As she arrived at the settlement, she was glad to see that the attack didn't completely destroy the village. As she walked around to inspect the damage, she'd speak to some of the locals to learn about the attack. As they explained the attack to her, she was relieved that it likely was not instigated by Chen, but instead it appeared to have been attacked by more random bandits. More. Goddamn. Bandits. Letting out a grown of frustration upon learning that more of these raiders were plaguing her land, she'd take a moment to plan out her attack. The bandits didn't appear to be the smartest and left a clear trail showing where they had gone, and Diana would make sure to punish them for this mistake.
Following the trail of travesty, it would take her an hour or so to find the bandits as the farther away from the town they got the smarter they were in hiding their tracks. Unfortunately for them they did not hide their horses well enough as they camped out under a large rock near the border. Perhaps they were going to try and cross over to Suna to escape punishment, but that wouldn't matter given the Land of Wind was under her watch. Sneaking up to the camp and climbing up the rock, she'd jump off from the top of it and transform mid-fall into Nue, using her large size and increased strength to destroy the camp in one swift blow. Two of the bandits were lucky and managed to be standing right outside of the drop zone, but two swipes of her paws and they to were dead. Seeing as her work was done. she'd revert and dispose of the bodies before moving on, using mayfly to go to Tatsudashi no Kuni.
