Diana supposed things could have been worse given the situation. For the past five minutes she had been recovering her breath from rescuing several nomads trapped in the Cursed Valley, she had been using Nue's form more then ever, and she was still being fueled by that spark of anger that Chen gave her. Overall her body felt like shit, and she was a Kage for Sage's sake! Still, she had a job to finish, and finish it she would. "Alright, let us get you out of here." Transforming into Nue once again, Diana picked herself up alongside putting the nomads onto her back and began to make her way through the accursed place they all found themselves in.
To Diana's surprise, she didn't encounter very many threats as she transported her wards through the zone despite how deep they had gone into the valley. Sure there was the occasional dangerous plant or animal that didn't realize that Diana-Nue was a serious threat to their health, but outside of that her several transformations into a Bijuu-level threat seemed to have taught them all in a short amount of time not to fuck around with the Yokai woman. She still had to defend the party from a few of the smaller creatures that didn't get the message yet, but overall it was a calm walk to one of the many ways out of the valley that she could see thanks to her massive height.
About halfway through a few of the nomads made some small talk with her, explaining that they had been a splinter group of the Kurama clan that managed to avoid the Epsilon war a few years back. Being reminded of the war hurt, but it explained why they seemed so calm despite the danger they fell into. Eventually though they made it to the valley entrance that Diana had personally took to get into the valley, and she would make sure that each of them safely got off of her back before she reverted to her human form. They all gave her a bow and thanked Diana for saving them before going on their way, something that Diana was perfectly okay with as she still had more to do and used Mayfly to go to the Makoto Mines.
