Search for tags pt. 1

The mission:

It was a simple matter to discover the objective for the time being. A mission posted with an artist rendition of a tag would be readily available on the mission board. As he felt no exhaustion from his travel he would not bother with starting up his own camp. Sure he could have volunteered for the medical tents but Tadara didn't really care about the others. Nor did it benefit him in many ways more than the work to be done up at the castle. His honey colored glowing eyes would shift through those present. Their expressions were filled with fear and concern. However he felt no such things. What hovered above the camp was surely intimidating to those who responded to new technology or techniques with fear before curiosity. Not for him though. He would collect a mission pamphlet and proceed beyond the camp to one of the chains holding the castle in place. His hands holding the document as he read through it repeatedly while using supernatural walking practice to casually walk up the chain. Approaching the castle plainly as he made certain he understood the objective. So it was a summoned structure filled with illusions. More physical than those typically known.

Tadara would reach the height of the chain with an understanding that the tags would be keeping the summon present in their current reality. A troublesome ability but one that would seem most useful to summon users. He would wish to study these tags and perhaps find ways to recreate them himself. Revolutionizing the art of summoning from its limitations of a heavy chakra drain. However for now his attention turned to an illusion of a Samurai standing guard in the first hallway in front of a door. Hiding crucial items like these tags was pointless if a guard was posted. Still it was good that he had a chance to experiment with these illusions. The Samurai did not react to him yet as he stood at the porthole the anchor chain was held from. Idly he would snap his fingers as the illusion did not react. So they were triggered when certain conditions were met. In this case likely stepping into the hallway. Tadara would idly do so as the Samurai sprung to life. Drawing his sword. However Tadara was already darting to him. Utilizing a hanging torch as he passed it to stab it with alarming speed into the neck of the samurai. Conserving energy for now. Luckily the Samurai faded quickly before it could fight back.

With that however it meant he would not be able to launch an offensive with collective weaponry from fallen opponents. Likely at some point he would have to turn to actively using his chakra. However he would scan both ways down the hall before opening the door. Sure enough there was a tag above an alter there. Did they wish to treat them as holy relics? Regardless Tadara would step back and hurl the lit torch at it. Watching for more defensive measures. Only to watch the tag get a portion burnt off and fall uselessly to the floor. He would wait a few seconds before collecting the remainder of the tag and placing it in a hip pouch. One tag down.
