Having finally arrived within the strange village of Menzagakure, Gyo had toodled around a bit before finally it came to entering the actual structure, the huge castle which seemed to have appeared out of thin air and, apparently, overnight. What a strange phenomenon, but Gyo could not contain his natural curiosity. However, he could not think of an effective way of studying the event beyond exploring directly himself, something which he did not normally partake in. Still, something in him told him that he needed to know, and thus he would walk up to and enter the building, finding in fact that the door appeared to slide upon of its own accord. Creepy.

Entering, he was immediately thrust into a confounding maze of hallways at tatami mats and sliding screen doors. He carted with him a copy of one of his Momo puppets on a small cart he pulled behind him, the lifeless body laying within the confines of the wagon. A very important cape, as always, donned on his shoulders. At first, he simply wandered the hallways, attempting to build a bit of a map within his mind. He considered attempting to break through some of the thin walls, but for now he would simply explore more naturally, though he kept his guard up the entire time. For the first time in a long time, the rainbow eyes of his would alite and shift, the swirling kaleidoscope revealing hidden truths to the lovely man. Almost immediately he noticed a rather low-grade but clever illusions, one which hid a single tag behind a false wall. He walked up to it and began to exam, careful at first not to touch it. This wasn’t so bad at all!

Disaster struck. At first, the examination of the tag proved fruitless; it seemed to contain trace amounts of chakra but otherwise was largely unremarkable. He looked all around it and pulled out a small pad of paper to quickly sketch the route he’d taken before ultimately deciding to attempt to peal off the stupid thing, seeing nothing else of informational value around. The hallways were all empty and he had encountered the same, endlessly repeating blank screen walls. So he reached forwarded, clawed hands ready to twitch to strike at any moment, and touched the tag.

Almost instantly the world shifted as if a watercolor painting had been soaked, the visual running like ink as everything melted and Osho felt himself falling and falling as if into an abyss. His eyes, wonderous as always, clocked the shifting colors and the chakra which suffused the area. He had not fully noticed the energy pervading the system previously, but the sudden shifts and changes made it much more clear that something more profoundly mysterious was currently taking place in this strange mansion. One moment falling, the next standing, simply, in a kind of Victorian, Gothic-chic maze of hallways, quite similar to the last one. He retraced his steps, having not gotten so far from the door, to confirm his suspicion: the door was gone. Returning once again to the tag, he would mentally clock this location as well. He could not be totally certain, but it appeared this one may in fact be separate from the first he had touched and found.

Did he need to locate further tags to continue to progress? Was this a maze at all which had an escape, or had he been unwittingly trapped for all of time in a twisting home designed to kill him. Gyo did not suspect the latter, or at least reserved his right to panic until later. He had only spent a short time thus far exploring, and he was a rather intelligent person. It would take some time for him to further discover the secrets of this place. If it truly were a huge, singular illusion it was so powerful as to make it nearly impossible to believe. More likely, if the tales were true, this was a collection of many, many layers of separate illusory techniques which worked together to fool the senses. Should this prove true, it would require some time for him to take them apart piece by piece.

His eyes continued to work overtime and this floor seemed even more run through with this strange chakra energy that the previous he was on. In fact, he didn’t even know what floor he was on for that matter, though he continued to wander the halls. Were someone to watch, they may find his methods disorganized and chaotic, but in fact he was carefully trying to cover as much ground as possible and to make his way to a window. He was beginning to learn too that the rooms seemed not to make logical sense, but he did eventually find and edge wall an was able to look outside, finding that he was some seven stories up. Strange. Looking up to the eave, he noticed yet another tag. He instantly reached out to touch this one, but found that nothing interesting happened.

The prior tag had proven uneventful and disappointed him a bit. He had no clue what was going on here at this point, but the experience had proven quite interesting thus far. He’d hoped for another trippy experience, and the concepts here got his creative juices flowing, though not regarding puppets, which was much more likely what he should be thinking about. Regardless, he could not help but marvel at the place and the intricate architecture of the location. Despite his initial observations, the halls appeared to not be simply cheap repeats of the same areas over and over, but instead had small but notable unique variations. The candles had burned to different heights, some of the paintings and decorations had changed, and the carpets had occasional, subtle differences in the patters. The sheer processing power would be immense to maintain such an illusion, if it were that at all, and it seemed more likely this may in fact be real. Time space manipulation to get people to and from alternate locations perhaps? He’d need to look around more.

He came to what appeared to be a grand staircase going down and, having found no other way to progress, he began the slow process of descending stairs. Slow because of the wheeled cart, which was not well suited to this, but he didn’t want to waste energy and show his hand. So he drug the cart down, only to find what seemed to be a dead end. Turning around, the stairs were gone, but he was looking at a slanted barrier that looked to be the side of the stairs, though he couldn’t see over the banister any longer. A small door stood before him, almost too small to walk through, and it had another tag on it. He touched it but found it did nothing. Noting its location as well, he opened the door and moved on through.

Through the door was… outside? He seemed to have entered what appeared to be some kind of beaucolic garden in the middle of a bamboo forest. The walls of the house, for he could tell he had not actually exited the building, seemed to have been altered to show the nature of bamboo walls and clusters through which he could not see. The wind had not risen, and he could not smell any difference in the area. Some small clusters of bushes and flowers were visible, but he could not smell them, and the few cases he could smell were overly notable. A rose bush smell so strongly from perhaps 10 meters away smelled stronger than if it were in his nose. Still, he explored around, seeing lovely water features and a small zen garden.

The garden was made of jet black sand, a strange choice, but looked quite lovely in the moonlight, despite the fact that Gyo had entered at roughly ten AM. The patterns seemed odd, and his devilish eye picked up a few peculiar traits. It looked perhaps like a fuinjutsu trap of some sort? He could not make out its meaning, despite his intelligence, and he did not have any real expertise in the matter. Flashing out a hand, he extended some lightly sharpened chakra threads to slice open the central stone, noting as he did that a single tag seemed… buried inside of the stone? As a chemical wizard, he supposed it could have been made of concrete, but his senses all screamed that the garden was filled with obsidian. It couldn’t be possible to put paper inside of it, yet the tag flittered down to the sand. He attempted to tug it towards him, but it seemed inert. With nothing else to do an not wanting to risk a trap, he would note this location as with the others and continue meandering through the gardens.

Gyo had wondered for what felt like multiple days through the black sand garden of the night, lit by the pale light of the moon. Something was certainly not correct but he was unable to tell if the seemingly infinite repeat of the bamboo walls was him repeating the same path over and over or if the palace truly contained some kind of odd pocket dimension. As he wandered, he did eventually find some tell tale signs of repetition, especially in some of the sand patterns. At first, he almost could not believe that he had even noticed such a minute different in the space, but then he realized it was once more due to his devilish and wonderful eyes which almost told him where he should look, as if indicating that all was not as it seemed.

He continued to wander for a short while, taking full stock of the environment and making further observations, noticing now the increased amount of chakra in the environment and where it seemed to gather and pool, where it lingered. While it took longer than he would have liked, he slowly realized that this may in fact be the Sly Mind technique and he was able to dispel it without further issue in the form of his genjutsu kai. Immediately the world straightened back out and he was able to locate another tag.

Well actually, to say that the world straightened and he had a firmer grasp on the situation was… not entirely accurate. It had become more normalized in the context of the strange atmosphere of the palace. He still found himself in some kind of hellish zen garden full of black sand and obsidian shards and the moon still full huge and full. In fact, the more he observed the floating body, the more he noticed that it was actually far, far too large, dominating nearly a full quarter of the sky. And, unlike the normally creamy white, it shone with a pale, dull light like a blueish metal, shrouded in mystery. He could have sworn he saw a face in it, but he shook his head.

He roamed a bit more before coming to what appeared to be a dead end. By all accounts, the side of the house he came too should have been an entrace to the building, a kind of garden path, but instead it was simply another tag. He touched it, though it did nothing, and he detected basically no chakra at all from it. Removing it to add to his collection, he supposed he would need to return the way he came, though the path seemed all to be singularly direction and the only way back would be to the same Victorian location as before, which seemed counter productive. Turning, the moon hung heavy over him again, and had it in fact gotten bigger? It was growing.

Even as he stared it seemed as if the great and looming celestial body grew and grew before his very eyes. He’d never, not on any plane of existence, seen a moon look like this before, so great but also of such a mysterious color shrouded in gun metal mystery. He could not look away, could not remove his eyes from the location, and still it grew to fill up the entire field of view. He’d never read a book that described this color. He could not avert his gaze, could not move, could hardly think. He wondered if the moon would crush the palace, the earth, the towers that Okane San had built. The gravity of the body should be destroying him and nearly everything else, but he simply stood there, waiting for whatever this was.

And what were these tags?

In his sudden lapse of attention, he snapped back too to an earie looking landscape, as if he were in a blue white desert. As far as the eye could see he could note nearly nothing of interest, a featureless waste of expanse nearly the complete opposite of the prior environment in which he had found himself. He still had Momo with him, which he supposed he could call a win, but he had no idea what was going on. He set of walking, cresting a kind of dune of sand, before stumbling upon a… small desk, completely out of place for the location. On top of it, entirely unobscured, was another tag. He moved to pick this one up too.

So strange. He had, of course, deduced that he was on the moon, or at least some kind of approximate clone of the huge body which hung in the night sky. The affect of the color scheme here intrigued him, the pale white blue so beautiful and lovely. When he picked up the tag, he noticed small shifts all around, bits of what he had previously thought were sand had moved and shifted under his watchful gaze. A pair of ears perked up, followed by a veritable sea of stone black eyes, each shining like little beetles and they shook of small bits of sand and such. They had blended in perfectly with their fur on the landscape, and remaining utterly still had allowed them to avoid notice and detection all together. Gyo noticed he could not smell anything, and he looked now toward the sky.

Above him, another moon hung, this one completely stark white and glowing brightly, beautiful and almost inviting like the moon normally was. Nothing like this cold, mystic expanse upon which he now stood and across which he now trod. Next to the moon, something which he vaguely understood to be earth, comprised more of blue for the seas than any kind of land mass or anything else. He could not really make out details, but the colors also seemed strangely muted and wrong, as if he looked at it through a filter of some sort. Something rubbed his leg and he looked down, seeing a rabbit with a tag on its back, rearing up as it to present it to him. I allowed him to pull it off, seemingly happily even.

Upon acquiring his most recent tag, he noted that every rabbit, for they were in deed small, strange rabbit which permeated the area, contained tags on their backs. Had they been laying down before on their backs so as to obscure them, or had they simply not been present prior to his observation. What exactly was going on in this place. His dream like state and fugue like knowledge of the place seemed to indicate he would receive no answers any time soon, so he would instead press onward. Seeing the sea of sand and slate coloration, he would continue forward, searching for… something. The featureless landscape put the earthly zen garden to shame, but it also had no vegetation of any sort that he could find. The rabbits did keep him nice company though, following behind and forging ahead as he went, sometimes almost seeming as if they were leading the way.

He began moving upward, against the current so to speak, toward the top of the lip of what seemed to be a huge basin of sorts, though devoid of water. A crater perhaps of a kind, though again nothing in the middle except for him and his rabbits. He crested the lip after some time, finding it rather difficult to cart his puppet and the wheeled dolly it was on through the sand. He shook his head, attaching a string to Momo and making him carry the thing and in shorter order made it to the top. He saw a huge oak tree in a green field which seemed to have been simply created on top of the featureless sand. The rabbits ran up to it and he followed, finding yet another tag directly upon the side of the trunk.

The rabbits had all gathered around the tree, running around in a circle and jumping about as if dancing merrily. The location contained grass, a first that he had seen in the castle and something he had no imagined locating on the moon, but he shrugged and moved forward. The rabbits all parted as he came through, almost as if they were inviting him towards the large tree in the center. He walked up to it, but briefly found himself overcome with the desire to run around and dance and frolic with all the rabbits. Soon he and they were running at full pace in a huge ring, though of course he was not a particularly swift individual. He could feel himself rapidly tiring, and he started to lose even more track of time than normal considering how strange the entire experience of the castle had been thus far.

He slowed as he tired, and eventually  slapped himself across the face before forming a single seal and kai himself out once again. He’d run out of chakra at this point and it was becoming difficult to discern what was real and what was illusion. But he wanted to continue on and discern the mystery of the place. Mentally gathering himself he gave another once over of the area with his evil and devilish eyes before striding up to the tag. The rabbits had calmed, but still surrounded him almost lovingly. He helped himself to the tag upon the edge of the tree and by that he added yet another tag to his collection.

Upon rapidly peeling off the tag from the tree, he noticed that the general crowd of rabbits had over all decreased a notable amount with only perhaps a dozen remaining. They continued to crowd around him, shifting and jostling for space. He looked around and where there had previously been no one standing he could now see a small, slight figure as if it were perhaps a child. The creature was unnaturally pale, almost bone white on the flesh, and it wore plain and non descript shorts and a tight fighting t shirt, only perhaps a single hue lighter than its own flesh. Upon the face of the thing was a mask of perhaps a porcelain material which looked like a rabbit with a pair of long straight ears. The creature tilted its head, as if in questioning, but otherwise did not move.

Gyo paused, observing, before waving at it a small amount. The creature raise up a small hand to wave back, but said nothing. It seemed as if the sound had fallen out from the area, but he continued to watch the child like being. It held up a pair of tags in its hand offering it forward, but when he reached it retracted. He had nearly nothing on him, but he could sense a bargain when he saw it. It pointed at the tree, and he retrieved the tag from his pocket, the one from the tree. Offering it, it gave him the pair in exchange. He supposed he didn’t need to really collect all of them; quantity over quality and all.

He looked around and allowed the strange rabbit child person creature to leave his frame of reference, but when he looked again he could not see that it had disappeared. Nothing about it nor its chakra – none in fact – portrayed that it was an illusion at all. It stood idly as a few rabbits stirred quietly, otherwise seeing nothing. From around the tree emerged another creature, this one nearly identical to the first, but the ears were strangely pulled back as if it had its hair slicked back had it been a human. Or perhaps it was a person or human but simply wearing a mask. Gyo doubted this though. The inners of the ears were black in stead of pink, and it carried its self in a different way, almost dangerous and predatory. He did not fully know how he knew this or where the information came from, but his hackles were raised so to speak and his demonic natured seemed to indicate danger. He stepped back briefly and the other took the moment to pounce.

It leapt into the air quickly, but at a high angle and the height made it possible to dodge. In an inhuman move he was able to shift his body at the waist almost in an extreme act of limbo which saw the creature flying over him. His hand shot out with precision and blinding speed, sharpened threads flashing out in a deathperado maneuver and which bifurcated the thing in half directly up the middle. Gyo placed energy into it but felt nearly no resistance at all. A tag fluttered down from where the body had once been.

From behind the tree once more, the same creature emerged and looking entirely identical as before minus the fact that it seemed to move in a more normal way without the same presence of danger in its every step. It seemed almost in supplication or apology and came over to the man. He could really feel him self tiring at this point but luckily he had brought just the provision to help nourish him and his body and thus he would produce one of his very wonder bars which could provide enough nourishment for a whole day. He ate a bar, but the others goth gathered around him poking a bit with heir pale fingers. He offered a bit of the bar and both of them nodded in unison. He broke off a bit of the blue berry bar and handed some over to the both of them. They together in quite an unsettling way they put the bar into their mouths with both of their hands, placing them both deeply beneath the mask. Far too deep for there to have been any substance behind the mask. He cringed slightly.

Regardless, they sat and ate, the rabbits upon the ground gathering up small crumbs and munching on grass. The pair of them presented their hands to him then and offerd up, between the two of them, a single additional tag that laid between the four out stretched hands. He accepted it greafully but also placed the remainder of his bar as a kind of tip to the pair. They weren’t so bad, though he had no idea what was going on.

Finishing his little snack with the newfound friends, he got up and dusted him self off and looked around some more. There was yet another creature now again, a pale form with one ear up and one cocked to the side or slightly crumpled depending on your fancy. It did not seem hungry nor did it really indicate much of anything as it arrived. It had on black clothing though, which seemed somehow more out of place that it really should have been considering the oddity of the entire situation. It made a few strange hand motions and the first creature produced a tag, one that was slightly larger than the previous and which Gyo recognized as the one that was originally on the huge oak in the center of the field. He looked to the tree and noticed that it seemed huge by previous comparison and it felt almost as if had been stunted before. Something was altering his perspective in an odd way.

The new creature gestured between Gyo and the new tag, indicating he supposed that the tall man should accept it and thus he moved forward and did so. He took the large tag, as and he did the crumple eared rabbit creature bowed slightly and pulled its mask up its face, revealing a fleshy and featureless face. It grabbed the tree and pulled back, opening it as if it had a door and gesturing to him. Gyo stared for a moment before pocketing the tag and waving good bye to the first two creatures, the third stopped moving in a manner so complete that it seemed as if it had become paralyzed or died. The other two waved back, and he passed the threshold of the great tree, the door closing behind him.

At this point, he no longer had the slightest idea what to expect as he had been on the moon, Perhaps this door would take him inside the sphere, perhaps to some other celestial planet, it was no longer possible to say. Yet he trudged on all the same. Luckily he recalled the pathway which had brought him here to this place and was confident that should he need to he would be able to retread the same ground. He was much less confident that he would be able to actually get out though. It did not seem obvious that walking once again the same path would actually allow him to get out as he had no idea if the various teleportation spells would work backwards as well as forwards. Still, he had little choice in pressing on and he was feeling well after having eating his provision, some of which he had shared of course with the strange rabbit creatures.

The tunnel forward ws long and winding and he could barely see anything. Even when he activated his night of the hunt ability in tandem with his regular devi’s eye he was essentially unable to see anything at all. The path branched and wound and he found he had to repeat a maze of winding tunnels based almost entirely on feeling and memory. Taking a breath to steady himself, he carefully went through the place, turning back when he was turned around and eventually making what seemed to be progress. Eventually, he came to another tag, this one glowing before him. He had no way of knowing if the cave held other items.

Without the ability to confirm if the cave had any other treasures, Gyo could nearly kick himself for having not brought with him a flashlight or some kind of other light source. Even a match might have been nice. In retrospect, he could have marked his path with some senbon or something, but it barefy mattered any more at this particular point in time which was now. He had already come to something which could have been the end, and he had no special reason to suspect that the bowels of the tree contained further secrets. It was likely that they had, but again he remembered that he did not need to collect every tag that existed; he just needed one at a time to get paid. He presumed that, with a large enough amount, he would be able to barter his way into something a little nicer than money even.

He reached out and touched what he thought would be the wall behind the tag, only to find that it was apparently floating in the middle of the path. Having no idea if this signaled anything, he grabbed it and quickly pocketed it, only to once more find his vision warping slightly. If this was meant for stealth, the illusions were nothing of the sort. Some of the strange effects were painfully obvious, though he did like the flair. He turned and, as he did, found he had arrived at wherever. In this case, he was back inside the manision proper, directly inside of the very door which he had initially entered as if he were starting over.

Gyo sighed, slightly frutrstaed at the idea that he was back at the start and that he had essentially made no progress. It was not conceivable or thinkinable that he would have already transited the whole house or really mansion and in reality he found it difficult to believe that the whole building was a giant loop of teleportation circles and illusions. He did find himself having to entertain the notion that he had gone in a huge loop and that the maze presented differently for each and every individual that entered the place. That theory actually seemed to him tha tit would make a good deal of sense and in fact seemed most likely to be true. But how would he communicate with anyone else in a way that mattered? He couldn’t rightly say to be honest but he did check his bag to ensure he had all of the tags and confirmed that in fact he did have all fo them which meant that regardless of what the mystery was he would receive his cash reward, which suited him more than just fine.

He wandered the halls lsightly as he thought about this theory and explored a touch but ultimately was not abel to find anything new though he checked in case he had forgotten anything. Realizing that he had more or less explored this floor thoruouly he returned to the very location that was where he had found his initial and rightly first tag and went back to collect it, though he already had it. Another one stood before him.

The extremely lovely and well kept man could hardly belieevb his eyes. Had someone perhaps just maybe been going around behind him reclaiming the tags and placing them back in the same locations? Or maybe they continually regrew here and the illusion or whatever other mystiacal and supernatural even that was going on kept re production them over and over again endlessly. He had honestly no idea and he went again to count the tags that he had already procured and found that he had all of them that he had counted thus far, the memories of the day quickly flashing by him. So they were not disappearing from him meaning that this one was knew thought he precise mechanism by which it was so was not entirely clear he would press on anyway to try and find out. He grabbed the tag expecting full wlell to once more be teleparoted to Victorian mansion land and… nothing. Nothing at all happened.

Gyo found he had closed his eyes temporarily in anticipation but then nothin occurred and he looked around once again shocked and in bewilderment. If he had not teleported, why was this new tag here? Did he need to expor eteh floor further? Find a stair case? He had no idea but moved abou the floor in a bit more of a rush this time, searching for some kind of answer or explanation for what was happening but not matter which nook and cranny he looked to nothing stood out ot him as useful or important and he found nor more tags nor any secret doors. Would he need to check ever panel in the pace for hidden passages? That would take eons.

Tired and rather exhausted of spirit though not really of body nor mind, Gyo made his beatufiul and blodn way back to the original entrance he had found. It coud be the simple case that if he went ot the mansion on a separate day the lay out might be different. It could move every day or shift once a day perhaps. Maybe in a better state of mind or even really at this point in a slightly better mood to be honest would allow him to see things differently. He as he was waalking slowly now he shut off his special eye technique to perceive the place normally oand a bit more dimly but noted nothing of interest and switch them the eyes back on again. This time he would examine the surroundings much more carefully and give himself time to notice even the most powerful an deven the most subtle of illusions as he moved his gate to an almost glacial crawl.

Nothing, he could see no illusions and the chakra flows going on were fairly bland all things considered. Certainly there was more ambient energy than your average location but as this was some kind of den of a chakra using being or something to that effect it seemed reasonable that residual amounts of the chakr aenery would still flow about. Plus they explained all of the teleporting and such so it did not shock him. He found his way to the main door and stopped in his tracks. A tag was there, directly in between the double doors, which had not been there previously and which could not have been there initially. Was he not at the entrance after all?

He grabbed the tag from the door before prying the twin pieces of wood open and he was just a little bit exhausted or tired but not in the physical sense. This was proving more strange but also a significant amount more tedious than he had originally anticipated which meant that this would take more time and though he was still not able to rule out the possibility of a loop kind of situation where by he was going around in an elaborate circle of fun houses he currently suspected that this may in fact not be the case and that this was a new room that was a copy of a previous. Or the same room or floor really but a which lead to different lovations and had been altered since his previous coming there. His hand hesitated a moment as to opened the twin doors as he was completely unsure of what ws going to appear before it perhaps it would be the entrance he thought he was in and perhaps it would be an enemy. Strange that he had barely had to fight anything now that he thought of it and actually in fact he probably did not actually have to it just had seemed to make sense.

He opened the door to a collection of darkness and stepped though, feeling as it gravity shfted and suddenly in front of him was down and he was falling and falling and falling but slowly somehow and for some reason. The sudden shock to his senses took a moment to process.

He found as he fell in slow motion that he had become suddenly and unexpectedly cold. Well, not really cold per se but a chill had surrounded him which was quite curious. The surorundings and the circumstances were coompeltely unclear as both him and momo tumbled and tumbled down and down although it did not feel quite as if they were actually moving downward at all really. He could tell that they were moving that much was certain, the note of motion undeniable here but at the same time to say that he was going down did not actually seem quite right the more he thought about it. He flipped his wonderous eyes through both their traditional chakra vision capabilities that they possessed and then filtered them through the combination of modes he had helped to develop which allowed for them to use the ability to perceive chakra at the same time has having perfect dark vision which was extremely useful. Even the addition of this wonderous ability and perception bonuses seemed not to have much of any effects. Having basically nothing else to do and no danger in the immediate future he simply tumbled and tumbled.

The chill eventually came over him and he thought he could tell what was happening as his body involuntarily panciked and he could feel himself struggling. He knew he should have trained his body more and he could vaguely recall coming to this material plane and choosing foolishly not to pursue the power of greater resilliancy

He had not really fainted nor passed out but he was aware that time had passed or that at least his perception of time seemed to have transpired and moved forward. He could no longer tell how long he’d spent in this castle though he did know that the more powerful of illusions were able to alter a person’s percpetiual powers over their sense of time which seemed improbably complicated even to a man of his intellect. This futher reminded him of a few genjutsu he needed to take a second and futher look into as his newest puppetry ability he felt would lend him some further insight into the affair of such matters but for now he flicked his magical eyes on once more and this time he noticed something. Flowating before him in mid air as if gravity ment nothing at all to it was yet another one of these illustrious and strange tags that they had been tasked with by a mysterious benefactor. He wondered quite idly if it were the doings of his master lord Okane who had put them up to this and not many people including villages would normally be able to front the bill for this flux of missions and the complexity of this. Certainly the poor nation of Meza would be incapable of such a thing. The moment he reached out for and grabbed the tag he found it began to emit a small bubble or globe of light around the area which also permitted him to see despite his perfect dark vision. Some strange work of chakra no doubt.

He exhaled his held breath but was quite strangely aware of the fact that there were actually no bubbled or cloud of steam or antying that escaped his mouth. He had discerened amidst the darkness the cold the falling and falling and the floating tag that he seem to have at some point he could not actually name or place but at some point he had transversed from the strange tumbling tunnel into some kind of underwater environment thogh he had experienced no splash or anything of the sort which quite alarmed him to be honest. Still the globe of light allowed him to see and he could swim and apparently breath amongst what seemed to be the bottom of the ocean juding by the temperature but also by the sand on the ground and the utter darkness it was the logical choice. Gyo could suermise between readings and some basic understanding of liquid physics that he should have been instantly crushed by the pressure of the place and yet he seemed to feel nothing. He saw another glut of light in the distance and swam to it.

He presumed this to be a trap, and he found that now after some adjustement he was able to better make out the surroundings. Before him as he got closer and the light brigher, the darkness seemed to get darker and darker and he remained cautios. He sent momo kicking forward to retrieve the tag and a huge maw revealed itself as a gigantic anglerfish attempted to eat the puppet. It found that the creatures pale green blade moved supernaturally quickly, even in the deep.

The fish emitted a splurt of blood nearly as dark as the surrounding sea upon the strike landing home and began to swim away. Gyo assumed it would die as the blade had struck along the side of its mooth an dhe judged that it had further pierced the things gills wich would naturally result in a slow and terrible death. He felt almost bad for the poor fish but also realized that the danger had not passed. The Hoshigake were increddilby resistant to blunt force trauma from what he had heard and he figured that natural sharks would likewise be resistant if not immune to the pressures of this place. Plus, he was also resistant so anything could happen. He swam up to the glowing fixture left by the fish as it flead, the bright golden color of it different from the blue green bio luminescence of the anglers rod. Another tag down as he continued, and as he gathered this second one he found that his own sphere of light expanded and he was able to see farther than he had before. A bit of a puzzle to this floor then it would seem but a somewhat enjoyable one, though of much poorer spectacle than the prior ones. He quite missed that moon facing zen garden and it filled his mind still with visions and plans for the future. But enough of that now, he had to move on.
