Tag Hunt 12

Mission:

Moving through the hallway, Ren couldn't help but feel as if this was all way to easy. Especially compared to before, when he had first entered and went to remove tags there was always something waiting to spring out at him, yet the last tag had no defense whatsoever. He had thought the castle would become more challenging now that more of its tags had been removed, but it seems that he might have been wrong. As this thought crossed his mind he felt his foot sink and heard the grinding of stone, he didn't have to look down to know that he had stepped onto a pressure plate. The was a brief second where he heard a small hissing sound before fire erupted behind him, the flames cutting off the path behind him and pushing him forward or risk being incinerated. Running down the hall as fast as he could, Ren would move through an open doorway at the end of the hall, as soon as he was in the room the wall would move and block the door that he had come through. While it protected him from the fire that now engulfed the hallway, it also plunged Ren into complete darkness. It was an extreme change from the brightly lit hallway and took his eyes a few seconds to adjust, luckily though his sensing technique was still active and did not sense anything else in the room. Before his eyes could fully adjust, the was a rumble as he felt the floor shaking beneath his feet. Not wanting to risk falling down it the floor gave way, Ren would activate the light weight rock technique allowing him to float above the floor. When his eyes finally adjusted, he would see that the floor had indeed collapsed and below was a floor full of spikes ready to skewer those unfortunate enough to enter the room. It took a little time searching be helpful would eventually find a tag seal hidden behind a piece of fake wall, removing it the floor returned and a new section of wal would. Open revealing a new path forward.
