Tag Hunt 17

Mission:

Ren moved carefully through the hallway, hearing an echoing cry coming from further down the hall. The further down he would move the darker the hallway would become until it was little more than a small flicker of light, the three ghasts would move out in front of him and begin attacking, their screams echoing off the walls as they moved. They were faster than Ren was, attacking him from multiple sides. Their claws slashing his arms and torso before passing through him leaving a chill running down his spine, just as soon as they had finished with the first attack they would turn around and attack again each time leaving Ren feeling colder and colder. Ren realized by the third strike what they were doing as his teeth began chattering, the human body could only get so cold before failing and they were trying to shut his body down. Had he been smarter he might have realized it sooner, but as it was now he couldn't take another attack from the creatures. He couldn't get his body to run, now being far too cold for him to do so, even his hands would move slower than usual as he quickly formed a string of hand seals. Just before the Ghasts would reach him for a fourth time, Ren would finish the string of hand seals unleashing a powerful Katon technique from all around him. The flames lit up the hallway, incinerating the Ghasts as they touched the flames. The technique even producing enough heat to warm Ren up in the process as well as show the location of the tag seal, ripping it from the wall Ren would marvel slightly as the normal lighting would return to the hallway.
