In a dense and isolated part of the deep forest, Ningyo's figure moved with grace. The sunlight filtered through the foliage, casting scattered shadows on the ground as she engaged in her routine practice. Her focus unwavering, Ningyo took a breath, preparing to throw kunai at a variety of small targets in the trees. As her eyes opened her Tomoe 1 Sharingan activated.

With a nimble spin, she ascended into the air, a kunai poised between each finger. The metallic glint of the blade caught the sunlight as she effortlessly flipped, each movement made with calculated precision. The results of Ningyo's constant weapon's training could be seen, as the kunai sailed through the air, each finding its mark with unerring accuracy.

"That's mighty impressive work there." Seid said walking into her training area and gesturing to her targets. "I am Seid Otsutsuki. One of the Sages of the Sixth Paths, whom might you be?" If she answered with her name he would interject after, "You have great talent. Perhaps I can teach you something before I leave the village."

What!?!... an enemy shinobi, Ningyo had barely noticed the horned man's arrival. She spun around as he identified himself as Seid Otosuki, Sage of the Six Paths, and mentioned something about teaching her. Ningyo stayed silent. In the world of shinobi it was common for beings of great power to kill for sport. She didn't know for certain, but the person standing before her person seemed powerful, if a bit to the point. She was after all merely a Genin of Leaf, a morsel for predators in the dark ocean of a world hanging by a thread. She activated the Tomoe 2 Sharingan in her left eye, accentuating her heterochromatic nature.

She remained on the alert, prepared for all eventualities. "FIne... you want to show me something?" she raised her kunai at eye level. "You should know that I'm not a foolish shinobi, easily trusting of hoi polloi. You are a stranger with no identifying headband and strange horns protruding from your head."

Ningyo tried to anticipate the dozens of jutsu this stranger could cast. She didn't get the sense that he was going to attack, but intuition could be deceiving, in these cases paranoia saved lives. "Go ahead Sage." The words would be meant as a taunt if the stranger were foe and an invitation to commence instruction if friend. The difference, amongst the silhouettes of this forest was understandably razor thin.
