Mission Goal: Help out Takashi by gathering some Octopodes for his store
Description: Takashi is the owner of a small Takoyaki stall in the streets of Konoha. Lately, his business has spiked and he is running low on fresh Octopus. Takashi is unable to leave the stall and his daughter who usually helps just started school. The store owner is in need of some assistance, please head down to the Hozuki Fisheries and bring back as many Octopodes as you can. The ones Takashi is after can be found lurking close to the shore in rock pools, bring back at least 15. You may need some help so bring some friends.

10 AM. After a tedious chore on the ship, brunch felt like bliss. Kurenai needed the break and the strength returned with a hearty meal. Next on her task list was helping out a man catching octopedes. Yucky, tentacle things that didn't quite catch Kurenai's interest, imagination running wild with all the weird stuff they could do and the difficulties that followed in dealing with them. She had hoped to be given a spear so she could catch them from a distance but the man wanted them fresh - as in alive and writhing. Gross. At least she was given a net attached to a long pole. A spear net? It would have to do.

The octopedes had the size of chihuahua's, multi-arms flopping about, mean looking eyes seizing her up like they'd have none of this 'catching' thing she was supposed to do. Some were resting on the rocks, other hiding under it in the shadows or even enjoying a bath of fresh salt water, but none seemingly friendly enough to let Kurenai do her job and get over with. Catching them was not the hardest, but keeping them in the net and in the box was a different story. Their tentacles latched to just about anything they could find to get back out. Six legs in, the seventh would crawl back out. If it wasn't one, then it was the other, the multi-tasking octopedes a harder challenge than she'd have expected. Gathering fifteen of these suckers - what else would you have to call them? - a true nightmare.

But long hours finally came to an end and the box with octopedes would ultimately be dragged back to the shop. 2 PM, but Kurenai felt like napping. A much deserved power nap to restore the expenditure of all that energy dealing with shitty jobs as this. Who would have thought being a genin could be such a hard life? Takashi would thank her, beaming brightly for her help and almost instantly starting to sell the newly arrived batch to eager customers. One thing was sure, Kurenai could not understand why they'd ever like a creature such as this...
