He has long white hair that is usually tied back into a ponytail and his left eye is yellow while his right eye is gray and glossy, covered by an eye patch.. He wears traditional style ronin garbs, similar to the rest of his former clan's, his colors being red on top and white on bottom with the clan's symbol sewn onto the back, and replaced the traditional style sandals with the more modern blue shinobi sandals. He also has a belt with pouches on the back, for shuriken other ninja tools, along with a latch for any scrolls he might need as well.
History: Seigi's story is unusual, partially due to being from an alternate reality. Seigi was born into the prestigious Douchiwa clan, a clan that held the power of the powerful Fuuingan, a doujutsu capable of using Fuuinjutsu from a distance, and served under the Raikage in Kumogakure, forever in competition with the Takoyaiba clan. His mother's name was Akira Ikazuchi and his father's was Kazuya Douchiwa. The youngest of three boys, who's names were Tetsuo (second eldest) and Daitaro (eldest), although, Seigi looks nothing like his family. He had very difficult birth, which resulted in his mother dying due to unforseen complications. He was a bit of a rambunctious child, always exploring and finding new ways out of his crib and always wanting to get out of his house, even at an early age. His father and brother showed little emotion towards Seigi though, causing him to feel lonely, even at a young age, and causing him to become introverted and quiet. .
Joining the academy at the age of 7, Seigi really dedicated his time towards learning and studying, avoiding his brothers (One of which had recently graduated, becoming a genin, while the other was a few years ahead of him) and trying to please his father, who despite no matter how hard Seigi tried, was never satisfied with his youngest son. Seigi felt as if he was living in the shadows on his two older brothers, both of which had already awoken their Fuuingan and were prominent ninja, while he was always lacking compared to them, despite being near, if not the top of his class, his motivation to succeed them driving him, even as an academy student.
When Seigi was 11, tragedy seemed to strike the Douchiwa clan, when his father grew sickly, losing a considerable amount of weight, and then his eldest brother, Daitaro, was killed while on a mission in Kirigakure. It wasn't long until their father passed as well, leaving only Tetsuo and Seigi alive. Neither of the boys took these events well, and because neither of them had a good relationship with each other, Tetsuo only saw Seigi as dead weight, and decided to leave the village, leaving his youngest brother, who despite how cruel he acted towards him, still loved him.
Seigi turned his clan's desperation and tragedy into motivation, and dedicated his time and energy into becoming a proficient shinobi, graduating from the academy at the age of 14, becoming a full fledged genin, only looking to become even more powerful. His time consisted of nothing but training and missions, participating and meeting many different shinobi in his travels across the lands. He quickly befriended Kagome and Kitsune, both of Kumogakure as well, helping Kitsune in a fight with against his father. During this fight, Seigi unlocked his Fuuingan, the powerful doujutsu of his clan. Using it's abilities and his own new found determination to protect his friends, he and Kitsune fended him off, completing the mission. It wasn't long after that, that Seigi was then noticed by Kira, the Raikage of the village. The Raikage, who also used a Fuuingan, began training and teaching Seigi.
Shortly after Seigi turned 15, The Raikage began giving him more assignments, including operations not officially on the Kumogakure board. Seigi didn't quite agree with what the Raikage was telling him, and in turn, instead of robbing a genin for money, he attempted to negotiate with a group known as the Stone Four and their sensei, Skia. After negotiations quickly failed, Seigi was forced to fight the group, disabling them and talking to Skia, who granted him the money that he was wanting.
Returning to the village, Seigi then was granted a few day leave to Konoha, where he encountered the Raikage and had his first run in with Shinji Uchiha, the most powerful shinobi in the world at that given time.The experience itself woke a fear in Seigi, giving him perspective on just how much he had to strive for. Given a new assignment while at the gates, he was told to enter Konoha and extract his cell leader, Tasha. Quickly heeding the Raikage's orders, Seigi entered the village undetected, using his abilities to track Tasha, eventually finding her in the sewers, being attacked by a mysterious foe. Fending off the attacker, Seigi partially destroyed part of Konoha's sewer system in the process. But while down there, Tasha told Seigi of the unspeakable acts that Kumogakure was participating in. The bombing of Tanzaku town, the attempted kidnap of Mei Nagasaki, not to mention the murder of Konoha jounin, all to protect the secrecy of the Cloud Conspiracy. Seigi returned to Kumogakure to confront the Raikage, but he was still gone, missing from his office, and Seigi was then assigned to participate in the Chunin exams, mainly for recon.
During the exams, Seigi met up with Rizumu, a shinobi from Konoha, and they fought a shinobi who had induced them in a genjutsu, making him appear as different animals. After a drawn out fight, they finally dispatched the man, only to be confronted with another, masked man. Rizumu was out of commission and Seigi's arm had been broken, but he still fought the masked man, who only made Seigi's injuries worse. Impressed with the boy's abilities, the masked man revealed himself as Hokuai Uchiha, a Missing-Nin, who told Seigi of his intentions and what he wished to do. Promising Seigi the power ad strength to protect his friends, Seigi left the exams with Hokuai, defecting from Kumogakure.
After traveling with Hokuai for awhile, Seigi adopted the alias of "Baku, The Dream Eater". Being able to change his looks, he wanted the world to believe he was dead. Deciding to visit Iwagakure to check on Skia and the progress of his friend, Seigi and Hokuai appeared only to see Skia's final moments at the hands of Shinji. In his final moments though, Skia transferred the 7 tailed beast known as Chomei into Seigi, making him a Jinchuuriki for the demon.
After traveling with Hokuai for a time, the two got into a conflict, resulting in Seigi being left for dead in the Land of Iron. After wandering for a bit, making his way back into the Shinobi country, Seigi decided to make his new mission stopping Hokuai. So, in an attempt to draw the Missing-nin out, knowing he is drawn to chaos, he attacked Konoha's marketplace. He was caught by Akio Sarutobi and Tatsuya Kekk-whatever. After interrogating him and Seigi helping fund the rebuilding of the marketplace, he was set free, left to his own devices. It was after this, he would meet Makita, who would some day become the love of his life. The two traveled together, outwitting a bijuu hunter, seeing the ninja world, and ultimately growing strong together. But they would part ways, Makita leaving for her home of Kirigakure, and Seigi back to his OWN home.
Deciding it was best for him to go back to Kumogakure and turn himself in, he was escorted to the village, but not before running into Rivu Hozuki, the former Mizukage, who granted the strength of the Kaguya, implanting him with DNA. This made Seigi incredibly ill though, and he was rushed to Kumogakure. Shortly after waking up from a small coma, he was told to find Kira, who had recently gone rogue inside the village. Finding him, he attempted to diffuse the situation, ending in Kira and Seigi being captured. Seigi himself was then summoned to Otogakure to fight for Tatsuya, an agent of Otogakure who he had given a scroll that would teleport Seigi, against the foreigners, defending the village against their demons. Teaming up with the One-Tails, they bijuu bombed the foreigner's siege forces But then, Hokuai appeared once more, taking over Shukaku. This angered Seigi, who lashed out at Hokuai, and in turn Hokuai struck him down, nearly killing him.
Waking up in the hospital a week later, Seigi was given two options. Either wait a year to recover or undergo a risky surgery, but it would reduce a few years off of his total lifespan. Choosing the latter, Seigi underwent the surgery and was back on his feet a few days later, leaving for Kumogakure.
Once there, he spoke to Kitsune, telling him everything that happened with Kira, asking for forgiveness, and also help to finally fight the demon inside of him. Kitsune granted this promise, and the two traveled to the path of souls to confront Chomei. He lost, but not before the beast was resealed back into him, causing Seigi to become weaker against the demon's influence but he was alive. At the same time, Seigi's older brother and only family left was murdered, sending Seigi into a deep spiral of depression. Seigi and his best friend, Kyojin, then decided to go to Kang's, a mystical monk able to rewrite reality, where Seigi would begin his training to overcome Chomei, once and for all. Dedicating six months of his life to training with Kyojin, Seigi then fought Chomei once more with Kitsune, this time his strength and confidence bolstered. Returning to the village once more, Seigi arrived just as it became under attack from multiple Bijuu, Seigi killing the 5-Tails in a single blow, then forced to fight Makita after she transformed into Isobu and killed Kohai. Their battle was cut short, however, as a mysterious force teleported Seigi away from the fight. He would return to the village as fast as he could, but Makita was gone and the village had calmed down. While away, Kitsune was assassinated by a rogue shinobi, making Seigi the new Kage. His own reign ended quickly, however, as a cult dedicated to freeing the Bijuu staged the massacre of the Douchiwa clan while Seigi was away, pinning it to make it look like it had been him and Chomei.
A missing-nin once more, Seigi would seek out Makita. Traveling to Kirigakure, he would reside there in secret for years, retaining his old alias as Baku. However, Makita had fallen in love with the Otokage and Seigi's rival, Tatsuya, and the two betrayed Seigi together in the Battle of Kirigakure, the battle ending with Tatsuya driving a kunai through Seigi's heart from atop one of the Otokage's bird summons. Seigi's body fell from the heavens, into the sea below, where his Fuuingan would activate one final time. Upon reaching the Samsara Fuuingan, Seigi had received an alternate ability he had not known, one only activated upon death. The Fuuingan, with it's powers over space-time, would pull from every ounce of power within Seigi, dissolving it all into one massive energy spike, and in exchange for all of his power, a portal would open, creating a bridge between worlds, sending Seigi through. The portal's energy was unstable, and on this side of things, it caused massive destruction, leveling a small forest. Once Seigi had awoken, he was in chakra cuffs in a cage in the infamous Blood Prison, unaware he was even in an alternate world.
For the first few days he was there, the guards were convinced he was crazy, asking to speak to Kage they had never heard of, also presenting himself as Baku, knowing that in his world that name drove fear into people, but it was pointless. He had lost his strength, his renown, even memories, but he didn't give up. He tried to escape over and over again, finally being put into solitary confinement, where he was kept until the the Blood Prison was attacked, and Cell Block C, where anomalous beings and creatures were stored. He used the assault to his advantage, managing to escape. From the Blood Prison, he would travel around, retaining his alias, but quickly learning that the world around him was much different than from what he knew. He was a stranger in a strange land with nowhere to go. Severely weakened from how he used to be, Seigi first tried to find remnants of his clan here in this realm, but the Douchiwa Clan was nonexistent. Even Kumogakure thought he was crazy. But in the most unlikely of places, he found a safe place.
In this world, he hadn't bombed Konohagakure and in turn, wasn't their enemy. Explaining his story to Konohagakure, they surprisingly believed him and granted him asylum, as long as he helped the village. Making him a Jounin, Seigi now resides in Konohagakure where he's unraveling the mystery of how and why he was here and how he can gain his strength back.
Personality: Over the years, Seigi's attitude has changed from introverted and shy to almost outgoing and outgoing, heavily influenced by his old teacher, Skia. Skia's attitude rubbed off on him, and in his quest to become a Sannin, he has learned to put himself out there in order to achieve what he needs to do. Seigi always strives to do the right thing, no matter how hard it may be, and despite the many tragedies that he's endured in his life, he still carries on, carrying on his mentor's words and the rules of one of his dead rivals:
1. Don't kill (Self-Defense notwithstanding)
2. Always be clever.
3. It's only a win.. when everybody lives.
4 Be a hero.

Seigi agreed to carry on Naisu's power, but not before the boy reminded him of the horrors of his past. Seigi blushed, looking away from Naisu, thinking back to that night when he and Kagome... did things. "Come on man, t-that was Chomei!" He piped up, only for a booming voice of the demon within him to reply.
"No it wasn't."
That was all.
Sighing, he brought his head back to the moment. Naisu placed his hand on Seigi's head, messing up his hair a bit, Seigi wincing slightly. At first, he felt nothing. No magical energy. No special chakra. Nothing. Seigi frowned for a moment, wondering if Naisu had messed something up. "Hey, are you sure this is-" He managed to get off, before a pillar of flame erupted around him. He felt body heat rise and the earth around him scorch and become ablaze with the fury that was Naisu. Seigi could feel the heat residing within him, an insatiable hunger that craved to feed endlessly. The power of destruction in it's purest form,
He felt the power of the Salamander.
The heat began to die down quickly, releasing Seigi from the pillar of flame. As Seigi recovered from his new ability, Naisu began to speak, telling him about the mistakes he made in life and a valuable lesson, one Seigi knew all too well. To cherish his friends and to not shoulder the weight of the world alone. He still struggled with it. He thought back to Makita, Kitsune, Kagome and his eyes rose up to meet the now missing member of their bunch, Naisu. Nodding, Seigi closed his eyes for a moment, the feeling of heat still lingering in his chest.
"As long as I hold this heat within me, I don't have to worry about shouldering anything on my own ever again." Seigi gave Naisu a toothy grin, his eyes squinting as he did. "I'll always have one of my best friends by my side." He then reached over, play hitting Naisu on the shoulder. "What did you think it'd be that easy? Idiot, I told you I'd catch up to you! We still have that little grudge match to keep. Don't think I forgot about that. You don't get any excuses, even if you're dead! I'll go all the way to the depths of hell to fight you again if that's what it takes." He took a step back from Naisu, his grin turning into a smile. "Eh, but we both know that's not where you're heading. But no, seriously. With this power you've given me, I'll do right by the world. Now I've got Skia's Dream and your Will of Fire to keep me going. With both of those, I'm gonna have my hands full. So if you ever want to drop by some time..." Seigi turned away from Naisu crossing his arms. The boy was silent, not wanting Naisu to see him get emotional. Naisu was his friend. His rival. The person he wanted to fight more than anyone else.
"If you ever wanted to stop by sometime and say hi, well then I wouldn't stop you, ya know? I know you're gonna be busy, doing it is whatever people do after they die but.. that doesn't mean you can't come visit!" Seigi was choking back tears at this point. "After all, what am I gonna tell.. What am I gonna tell Makita?" He clenched his fists. "I guess... I guess you win this one."
Seigi turned to face Naisu again, tears streaming down his cheeks. He was all over the place.
"I admit it. You officially beat me to the next part of life. And.. I'm not gonna be able to join you for awhile. I've got things I gotta do first. I gotta make sure Makita is safe. And I gotta make sure Kiri gets rebuilt! And I have to pass on your Will to the next person. I can't just let any scrub take on the task of being the next Salamander. They gotta be strong. And have an appetite. And a sense of justice." Seigi sighed for a moment, the feeling of the inevitable close that was coming.
"And they have to be my best friend."

Waking up in the hospital a week later, Seigi was given two options. Either wait a year to recover or undergo a risky surgery, but it would reduce a few years off of his total lifespan. Choosing the latter, Seigi underwent the surgery and was back on his feet a few days later, leaving for Kumogakure.
Once there, he spoke to Kitsune, telling him everything that happened with Kira, asking for forgiveness, and also help to finally fight the demon inside of him. Kitsune granted this promise, and the two traveled to the path of souls to confront Chomei. He lost, but not before the beast was resealed back into him, causing Seigi to become weaker against the demon's influence but he was alive. At the same time, Seigi's older brother and only family left was murdered, sending Seigi into a deep spiral of depression. Seigi and his best friend, Kyojin, then decided to go to Kang's, a mystical monk able to rewrite reality, where Seigi would begin his training to overcome Chomei, once and for all. Dedicating six months of his life to training with Kyojin, Seigi then fought Chomei once more with Kitsune, this time his strength and confidence bolstered. Returning to the village once more, Seigi arrived just as it became under attack from multiple Bijuu, Seigi killing the 5-Tails in a single blow, then forced to fight Makita after she transformed into Isobu and killed Kohai. Their battle was cut short, however, as a mysterious force teleported Seigi away from the fight. He would return to the village as fast as he could, but Makita was gone and the village had calmed down. While away, Kitsune was assassinated by a rogue shinobi, making Seigi the new Kage. His own reign ended quickly, however, as a cult dedicated to freeing the Bijuu staged the massacre of the Douchiwa clan while Seigi was away, pinning it to make it look like it had been him and Chomei.
A missing-nin once more, Seigi would seek out Makita. Traveling to Kirigakure, he would reside there in secret for years, retaining his old alias as Baku. However, Makita had fallen in love with the Otokage and Seigi's rival, Tatsuya, and the two betrayed Seigi together in the Battle of Kirigakure, the battle ending with Tatsuya driving a kunai through Seigi's heart from atop one of the Otokage's bird summons. Seigi's body fell from the heavens, into the sea below, where his Fuuingan would activate one final time. Upon reaching the Samsara Fuuingan, Seigi had received an alternate ability he had not known, one only activated upon death. The Fuuingan, with it's powers over space-time, would pull from every ounce of power within Seigi, dissolving it all into one massive energy spike, and in exchange for all of his power, a portal would open, creating a bridge between worlds, sending Seigi through. The portal's energy was unstable, and on this side of things, it caused massive destruction, leveling a small forest. Once Seigi had awoken, he was in chakra cuffs in a cage in the infamous Blood Prison, unaware he was even in an alternate world.
For the first few days he was there, the guards were convinced he was crazy, asking to speak to Kage they had never heard of, also presenting himself as Baku, knowing that in his world that name drove fear into people, but it was pointless. He had lost his strength, his renown, even memories, but he didn't give up. He tried to escape over and over again, finally being put into solitary confinement, where he was kept until the the Blood Prison was attacked, and Cell Block C, where anomalous beings and creatures were stored. He used the assault to his advantage, managing to escape. From the Blood Prison, he would travel around, retaining his alias, but quickly learning that the world around him was much different than from what he knew. He was a stranger in a strange land with nowhere to go. Severely weakened from how he used to be, Seigi first tried to find remnants of his clan here in this realm, but the Douchiwa Clan was nonexistent. Even Kumogakure thought he was crazy. But in the most unlikely of places, he found a safe place.
In this world, he hadn't bombed Konohagakure and in turn, wasn't their enemy. Explaining his story to Konohagakure, they surprisingly believed him and granted him asylum, as long as he helped the village. Making him a Jounin, Seigi now resides in Konohagakure where he's unraveling the mystery of how and why he was here and how he can gain his strength back.
Personality: Over the years, Seigi's attitude has changed from introverted and shy to almost outgoing and outgoing, heavily influenced by his old teacher, Skia. Skia's attitude rubbed off on him, and in his quest to become a Sannin, he has learned to put himself out there in order to achieve what he needs to do. Seigi always strives to do the right thing, no matter how hard it may be, and despite the many tragedies that he's endured in his life, he still carries on, carrying on his mentor's words and the rules of one of his dead rivals:
1. Don't kill (Self-Defense notwithstanding)
2. Always be clever.
3. It's only a win.. when everybody lives.
4 Be a hero.
Roleplay Sample:
Seigi agreed to carry on Naisu's power, but not before the boy reminded him of the horrors of his past. Seigi blushed, looking away from Naisu, thinking back to that night when he and Kagome... did things. "Come on man, t-that was Chomei!" He piped up, only for a booming voice of the demon within him to reply.
"No it wasn't."
That was all.
Sighing, he brought his head back to the moment. Naisu placed his hand on Seigi's head, messing up his hair a bit, Seigi wincing slightly. At first, he felt nothing. No magical energy. No special chakra. Nothing. Seigi frowned for a moment, wondering if Naisu had messed something up. "Hey, are you sure this is-" He managed to get off, before a pillar of flame erupted around him. He felt body heat rise and the earth around him scorch and become ablaze with the fury that was Naisu. Seigi could feel the heat residing within him, an insatiable hunger that craved to feed endlessly. The power of destruction in it's purest form,
He felt the power of the Salamander.
The heat began to die down quickly, releasing Seigi from the pillar of flame. As Seigi recovered from his new ability, Naisu began to speak, telling him about the mistakes he made in life and a valuable lesson, one Seigi knew all too well. To cherish his friends and to not shoulder the weight of the world alone. He still struggled with it. He thought back to Makita, Kitsune, Kagome and his eyes rose up to meet the now missing member of their bunch, Naisu. Nodding, Seigi closed his eyes for a moment, the feeling of heat still lingering in his chest.
"As long as I hold this heat within me, I don't have to worry about shouldering anything on my own ever again." Seigi gave Naisu a toothy grin, his eyes squinting as he did. "I'll always have one of my best friends by my side." He then reached over, play hitting Naisu on the shoulder. "What did you think it'd be that easy? Idiot, I told you I'd catch up to you! We still have that little grudge match to keep. Don't think I forgot about that. You don't get any excuses, even if you're dead! I'll go all the way to the depths of hell to fight you again if that's what it takes." He took a step back from Naisu, his grin turning into a smile. "Eh, but we both know that's not where you're heading. But no, seriously. With this power you've given me, I'll do right by the world. Now I've got Skia's Dream and your Will of Fire to keep me going. With both of those, I'm gonna have my hands full. So if you ever want to drop by some time..." Seigi turned away from Naisu crossing his arms. The boy was silent, not wanting Naisu to see him get emotional. Naisu was his friend. His rival. The person he wanted to fight more than anyone else.
"If you ever wanted to stop by sometime and say hi, well then I wouldn't stop you, ya know? I know you're gonna be busy, doing it is whatever people do after they die but.. that doesn't mean you can't come visit!" Seigi was choking back tears at this point. "After all, what am I gonna tell.. What am I gonna tell Makita?" He clenched his fists. "I guess... I guess you win this one."
Seigi turned to face Naisu again, tears streaming down his cheeks. He was all over the place.
"I admit it. You officially beat me to the next part of life. And.. I'm not gonna be able to join you for awhile. I've got things I gotta do first. I gotta make sure Makita is safe. And I gotta make sure Kiri gets rebuilt! And I have to pass on your Will to the next person. I can't just let any scrub take on the task of being the next Salamander. They gotta be strong. And have an appetite. And a sense of justice." Seigi sighed for a moment, the feeling of the inevitable close that was coming.
"And they have to be my best friend."
