Uzumaki and Kaguya walk into a training ground[Hana]

Yui had been told after her long years of service she could learn one of the villages exclusives the issue was for the longest time they were all Suiton techniques and she was not someone that used ninjutsu like that. Finally, she had been given the word the new kage had learned of her plight and had offered her a hand in learning a new technique, she was not sure what this was but she as excited none the less. She had accepted this invitation and sent a letter to the kage asking for her to meet her at the training grounds. Obviously them training in the village would be a bad idea and Yui had not had any good combat in a while. The Kaguya were tough ones so her unstoppable chains would hit an unmovable object and this by itself was exciting.

"I know of Hana can't believe shes the kage now, I guess when you have been alive as long as I have you expect anything to happen. Our nation has intense threats all around so I guess training up their Jounin is a good idea in case something bigger happens."

Yui would wait patiently for Hana to arrive, this was an exciting day to train with someone so full of youth. She often wondered if people that actually knew her age thought she was a monster. Her appearance clearly looked very young so very few people would believe she was sixty-four. Hana had the information however and know she was in fact this age despite appearances.

Since she internalized her place as Mizukage she realized she was now considered Kirigakure's primary defense. She was expected to make appearances during large scale attacks and act as some sort of hero or role model. Hana didn't really care to live up to any sort of expectation. She tried to not let the new position consume her with new standards and a different way of life. The last thing she needed was to become like one of the previous Mizukage.

One thing was certain, though. She needed to stop messing around when it came to her training. For the past three years she had significantly been slacking. She was a Kaguya but lacked in the weapon's department of things. She generally preferred Taijutsu and its technique over weaponry. However, Kirigakure was a nation built on Kenjutsu. From the upper class as a sport to the lower class as a self-defense technique the nation was built on swordsmanship. This was solidified through the possession of several legendary swords, one which Hana possessed currently.

She scheduled a training with one of Kirigakure's newer Jounin. Yui was apart of the Uzumaki clan from the Whirlpool nation, one of the only nations Kirigakure secured diplomatically versus conquest. Hana arrived in the designated training area just a kilometer away from the entrance. The training area was pretty standard with a good bit of forestry and medium jungle at the lower parts. This training area was specifically chosen due to its reservoir of water. A small lake was situated near the training area a couple hundred meters across and several dozen meters deep.

Hana dashed through the treeline dropping just a few meters away from Yui in her point of view. "Look who made it. I hope you brought your thinking cap, because I have something neat to show you. Watch this." Hana skipped back until she was standing on the surface of the lake a few meters in. She stood just twelve meters from Yui when she prepared her chakra. When her charge was complete she'd step on the water's surface causing a splash to rise from beneath her foot and into her point of view. Extending her arm she released the built up energy as the force escaped her fingertips and reduced the water into a fine mist. "This ability allows you to unleash your chakra into a powerful shockwave. It learned it can also be used defensively, though be wary that some of the more powerful technique can still overpower. Best of all, it can be unleashed at any point of your body. So dealing with two or more opponents becomes a much easier task. Give it a try."

Yui felt the presence of someone she could only assume was the kage as she turned her head and smiled. It was indeed Hana Kaguya, a proud woman from a strong clan unlike her own clan both had a lot of power and both had some amazing defensive abilities as well as offensively. She would watch as the young woman moved over to the pond and stood on it before mentioning she was going to show her something powerful. Yui watched her intently as she would focus on the technique itself it was pure chakra being used, not of an element but a pure force of chakra. This was not something she had seen before even in her military days but it was quite impressive as it blasted the water into a fine mist and caused Yui to laugh a bit. This was perfect for the type of fighting she did, her most ideal way to fight was to wear down the opponents and a technique such as this was perfect for her.

"You know this has similar aspects to chakra enhanced strength but instead of needing the direct impact this is a push out of your chakra and shoves them with the our force of the chakra released I can see how this could be useful."

Yui would focus for a moment also jumping onto the water and taking a deep breath as she would remember exactly what she saw before she would move her index finger alone back and suddenly open her eyes firing off a rapid compressed amount of chakra down into the pond causing the water to splash massively and turn into mist. It appeared it could come from any body part even a finger making her smile.

"That is pretty interesting and fun, I can see how this will be useful for me, and I am not too worried about using it to deflect jutsu after all you know how powerful my clan's chains are. I can be quite a pain to deal with and my style of fighting even goes to widdle down my opponent and make them just want to give up."

Repulsion Technique: 359/250 WC learned

Hana found Yui's analysis on the technique interesting. In a sense she was right. The technique was a wave of kinetic energy much like a thrown fist. It had a wider range which was always helpful and moved fairly fast. And the best part was that it was very unsuspecting since there were no visual cues as to what to expect. Someone could need to be a sensor to detect the chakra buildup. Yui had little trouble picking up on the technique as expected from a Jounin. Hana was confident that having Yui armed with such a powerful technique made her a powerful asset to Kirigakure's military might. "Looks good. So now you know the basis of the technique and have seen it in action. Lets have a little combat test to see you apply it logically in a live battle scenario."

Hana knew the technique was fairly dangerous and could take her for a ride if she wasn't careful. This meant Hana needed to stay in mid to long range combat, two fields she recently began to specialize in to cover her close quarters focus weakness. Kicking off the surface of the water she cleared a total distance of ten meters between her and Yui. In the time she cleared her jump she completed the four hand signs necessary for her technique. Harnessing great amounts of chakra from within she expelled water from her mouth which quickly grew into a large torrent ten meters in diameter rushing towards Yui at substantial speed.

Yui would watch her beginning to use hand seals, she had a pretty good idea what was coming as suddenly her chains began to form before she would aim her hand down toward the ground and rocket her into the air using her newly acquired jutsu. The massive wave would begin to rise as Yui was now more than high enough to avoid it, that was quite a large attack but she could have simply shielded herself and took no damage at all. This was more fun however as Yui would form her chains into a sort of board landing on the lake as she would begin moving along it at rapid speeds.

"That was quite an attack I can see why you became the kage, not even taking it easy on such an old lady like myself."

Yui would continue to smile as she rushed toward Hana riding her board on the water before firing several chains toward Hana attempting to grab her. These chains were quite annoying and if Hana understood anything of her clan she knew they could render her using chakra impossible by gabbing her with the chains.

Technique used: Adamantine Sealing Chains

Hana observed as Yui utilized the Repulsion Technique to rocket herself a fair distance into the sky. She was curious as to how she was capable of doing that considering the nature of what was beneath her. Hana figured the water would disperse given how powerful the blast was instead of propelling her in the air. She didn't question the physicals too much, though. She didn't have the luxury to challenge the logic behind her movements seeing as they were in a live training exercise. Yui ascended up at least a dozen meters high being just outside of Hana's water missile's range. Her evasion was a major mistake on her end making herself a vulnurable target up in the air. Hana was not keen on taking advantage of her position in air, but instead where she would inevitably fall.

The Mizukage's hands moved together to form six hand signs within a second's time as Yui descended towards the lake. The Uzumaki girl formed her chains as they fashioned into a platform to stand on, but that would become the least of her concern as the lake's water began to spiral at three separate points around Yui's designated landing zone. The small vortexes of water were a meter in diameter and spun vigorously. As Yui touched base on the water's surface the vortexes fired out fashioning into long drills made entirely of water. They would attack Yui simultaneously at full speed: one directly at the center of her back and the other two on either side of her towards the front. The water was focused at the point of the drill, though Hana intentionally scaled the strength of the drills back to cause less damage on impact.

Instead of acting like steel drills they would break against Yui's body still delivering heavy impact force but not actually maiming her or causing grievous wounds.

Yui had done what she intended the only problem was she was now a free-falling target and Hana was targetting this fact. She began to use a jutsu as the water began to swirl but Yui knew what she needed to do as she reshaped her chains and made a total ball all around her body with the chains having such strong defense she knew this would make her body fine as she could hear the clinks off the chains of the jutsu striking the chains.

She would then open a hole so she could see as she neared the water with her firing off chains off the ball rapidly at Hana. The hole was only large enough for Yui to see where Hana was to make sure she could aim and chase with her chains. Yui did not ink when she struck the water however as she began to propel toward Hana while attacking with the chains.

Technique continued: Adamantine Sealing Chains

Yui prepared a solid defense against a rather tight situation many others would find themselves in. It was her quick thinking which made her Jounin followed by her flexibility in combat. She coiled herself up in her adamant chains, which given their name Hana would suspect they were neigh impossible to break. Even if she didn't hold back with her water technique Yui would suffer no drawbacks given how tight the defense was. Hana released her hands from the hand sign she held keeping her arms up in a guard. Among the loudness of the water drills impacting the chains and fine spray of water as the water attack broke apart against the girl's defense Hana noticed a small pocket open from the girl's cocoon.

The Uzumaki girl was given sight of Hana and immediately her golden chains fired out towards. She was quick to react by kneeling down and touching both hands on the ground. Assuming her Flower Rush posture she'd dart to the side at speeds exceeding that of the Adamant Chains. She'd evade them easily and more importantly pass out of the point of view Yui had of Hana. The natural flaw in her hyper-defensive state was her limited view and what Hana presumed was lack of mobility too. Reaching into her hip pouch she'd retrieve a single kunai which was already fastened with a red explosive tag using a bit of wire looped through the ring pommel. Hana would throw the kunai at Yui while lighting it in the process. It would approach Yui's right side, strike her chain barrier, then detonate. It served as a distraction to keep Yui in her defense.

Hana's hands created a single hand sign before she stopped at Yui's flank before taking a couple leaps back clearing ten meters between the two of them. Hana utilized the abundant water around them creating a dense mist. The mist was incredibly thick that both of them lost visibility except for a few centimeters from her face. With Yui being unaware of her position she didn't have to worry about those chains. This gave Hana the opportunity to strike in silence.

Hidden Mist Technique

Yui watched Hana response as expected of the kage she was wise and realized her attacks had no effect against Yui. She also realized Yui had an offensive as she leaped back avoiding her chains, Yui lost track of her but she could hear the sound of Kunai and explosive tags going off. No way Hana thought this would work she was planning something, maybe she assumed Yui was immobile but she was going to put that theory to rest. As the mist began to form Yui would aim her chains to the dry land pulling her and all her chains rapidly to the shore, while she could not see on the normal ground she had another skill she could use.

Yui would suddenly surge her body with chakra as her strength began to rapidly increase before she would slam her hand violently into the ground. All around Yui massive spikes of earth would begin to rise rapidly into the air. This was another one of Yuis talents chakra enhanced strength, also showing Yui had medical skill and clearly had fuuinjutsu skill. While she was not the best in head-on fights she could certainly do a decent enough job if forced to.

The mist helped shroud the whereabouts of both Hana and Yui. This would act as a double-edged sword making them both visually blind. But to Hana she had the tools necessary to seek out Yui in the dense mist. Hana activated her sensory ability which gave her the location of Yui. It appears she moved to the land following Hana's activation of the mist technique. The land was arguably a safer place to be over the water when fighting an elite Kirigakure ninja. But Hana was left with the one obstacle of busting Yui's bunker. The chain technique she used proved to be neigh indestructible after she didn't budge with the explosive tag or water missile. Hana figured she could potentially cause damage to the chains by getting a direct strike with Hiramekarei but that would put her at far too much risk. Hana remained motionless in the water crouched upon its surface while in deep thought. She would think and think until a decent plan emerged from her noggin.

The chains were pretty much indestructible so using any direct form of attack would be useless. But while Yui was safe from physical attacks from behind the Fuuinjutsu barrier she still had human needs, including the need to breathe. Hana knew that the girl was capable of using the chains to move so the technique she needed to use had to be expansive enough to give her little avenue of escape. Performing four hand signs she charged an enormous amount of water release chakra from within before expelling it from her mouth.

Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave had the potential to create a small sea which, on top of the currently present lake, helped flood the entire training area they were using. Although Yui would be safe from the crushing force her shelter inside the chains would rapidly fill with water cutting off her supply for fresh air. The trees were now several meters submerged and the mist mostly consumed. Hana stood atop the waters which had a low hanging ankle-deep mist which remained from the Hidden Mist technique. The water level would slowly drain given time into the ocean or natural reservoirs, but for now they lost all sign of land only giving them an open water bed to work on. Hana observed where Yui was, about a dozen or so meters deep in water where solid land used to be.

Yui did not notice Hana being struck by her attacks but she did hear something else as a massive rush of water began to fill the area, this was an issue while it would not harm her she would run out of air. Well, this was game over for her, if she went to the surface for air she would just be attacked as she needed air, Yui would make an obviously surrender wave as she rose to the surface gasping for air as she would dismiss her chains and lay on top the water. That was very clever of her to cut off her source of air, certainly a smart and wise move from the kage.

"You win that was a great move, sorry if I could not entertain you forever but this old lady needs to build up her stamina more. I hope I at least surprised you and showed you things you did not expect from me."

She learned a lot about her kage as well, despite being a Kaguya she was good at all ranges of combat, in fact she was perfect in CQC she was a monster as a Kaguya. With her ninjutsu as well she was a dangerous force at all distances, Yui had flaws still and certainly needed to work on them and would in time.

Hana spotted a surrender from below as Yui resurfaced. She figured the girl was still a fresh Jounin so maybe it wasn't the best to throw out wildly advanced technique just yet. Still, she did give Hana a run for her own money and made her think outside the box. "That chain technique of yours is very valuable. You did surprise me with your usage of it. If I'm willing to give you a word of advice I'd say don't rely on it too much. I had my sensory technique active and could tell those chains required a lot of chakra. Plus, if your opponent learns about its weak point they could use it against you. But you still have a long road ahead of you and a lot can change." Hana was a bit jealous to know Yui was nearly triple her age and still looked how she did. The Uzumaki were blessed with an increased lifespan and this meant looking younger until the last few years of life. Sure the Kaguya had 'good genetics' but this took that meaning to a whole new level.

"But that's a good bit of training for today. Take it easy, Yui." Hana said giving her a passing wave goodbye before walking on the water's surface back to the outskirts of the training area. It'd be a good several hundred meters until she reached solid ground, then a kilometer until the outer barrier of the training grounds. Hana tried to enjoy the long walk back home, but she knew very well how bored she would get along the way.

Once Hana reached solid ground she would stop herself as common sense finally hit her. The massive great sword she carried on her back wasn't just for show. Hana fully intended to break it in, per se, and get some use out of it. The sword was a treasure to Kirigakure primarily due to its ability to store the user's chakra and release it at the command of a variety of technique. Hana already stored a fair bit of her own chakra into the blade but now it was time to actually learn some of its technique. Reaching back she'd grab Hiramekarei by both handles bringing the blade around to her front. By sending a bit of chakra into the blade it activated as the bandaging unraveled. The blade was coated in a blue glow of pure energy. But this was just the beginning as a blade extended from the sword itself of pure blue energy out to twenty meters, which was as far as Hana was willing to let it grow. It felt add seeing the blade basically grow in length but remain the same weight.

Chakra used in this form was practically weightless. This meant that Hana wouldn't be slowed down at all when using the technique. This was beneficial for her when engaging in fast paced fights, especially against other experienced Jounin, as speed was a main ability an elite ninja would want to have next to accuracy. Normally accuracy was the first to be considered, but accuracy meant nothing when your opponent could run circles around you before you could even move. Although accuracy was important the speed of the user allowed them to keep pressure on their opponent and if the opponent were to get distracted the user can take advantage of that and then finish them off with a well placed strike. Hana completed that version of the technique before packing it in. She didn't want to overdo herself with some training. Especially when she practically had all the time in the world now that she was Mizukage. Wrapping her sword back up Hana would continue out of the training grounds and back home.

Yui listened to the words of her kage carefully and she was right relying on those chains to much was a bad idea. She had to get her stamina higher in order to use them to their full extent and plus even using chakra enhanced strength could take a toll on her body. She was glad to have faced the kage however it showed her te kage as worthy of the title and she felt a bit better about her being in charge now. As she had left the field Yui would sit down on a nearby stone with her taking a look at her body as far as she could tell she took no damage so at least her skills in protecting herself were strong.

Yui simply knew she had to get more powerful until she did she would only be good, not great. She would stand up stretching and feeling hungry as she would leave the training grounds and make her way toward a ramen shop. She would get stronger in order to protect her village and her clan, she had to make sure it remained strong so the fate of her clans past could not be repeated.
