Prepared for the inevitable event of his succession. It was an understatement. Seid had become one of the most powerful ninja within the village. Something he did not see coming in the slightest. But his prowess with his Doujutsu was unmatched. Though he was still mortal, so none of that mattered. He could still be killed. It was his duty to get stronger, he had a destiny to fulfill.

Which was how he found himself on the training grounds once more. His repertoire of jutsus had become extensive. However his power over the Rinnegan needed a special touch to it as well. Wearing his Jade armor, he needed to practice the feel of this technique in battle.


He had felt it in his blood for a while. This power. His eyes flashed with malice as a single iris ring floated around his pupils. The Rinnegan was yet completed. He feared he would have no choice sooner or later. Forced to complete the Rinnegan, as was his destiny intended.

There was much more for him to. He could feel the calling of dormant power within him. Different from the call he had when he figured out he was one of the Seven Paths. Willing the divine chakra in his eyes, Seid tore open a portal in front of him. It was a completely vanta black, portal opening. There seemed to be nothing on the other side, though to Seids eyes, he saw differently. To his view, he was able to many possible exits. Within his view of the next 500 meters he was able to step out at any place. And he did so. He stepped through the portal, and he appeared some 100 meters away. Almost towards the entrance to the training grounds where it leads to the other grounds.

Surprised by his newfound power, it would be an important asset in the future. It was time to start considering if he should take the lead on finding the other paths or not. A daunting task. But he was sure to find some clues at the Chuunin Exams.
