High Performance Genin Empty High Performance Genin

Post by Hana Kaguya Thu Jan 09, 2020 10:07 pm

    Appearance:

Hana was astonished to see the progress of Kirigakure's Genin following the entrance ceremony from the ninja in the neighboring lands. It was astounding to see that just a week ago Calis, an already capable Genin from their last mission, make incredible strides to honing his bloodline technique. Arisu still remained a mystery to her, but meditating for so long in the jungle outside of Kirigakure led Hana to believe she unlocked some true potential. Hana vaguely remembers her doujutsu that was flashed before her. Arisu had purple eyes with black spirals. It was a trait Hana has never seen before and she was curious to know what it was capable of doing. Hana knew Arisu was not fond of cheek touching after that day.

She ordered Arisu and Calis to meet her at the training field immediately to test their mettle. It would be a waste of time to let such potential be sifted through the exam process taking months to reveal something already apparent on paper. But before Hana could make any hasty decisions she wanted to test the potential herself. Sometimes records failed to prove. Strapped with her gear she entered the training field numbered forty-four. It was by far the largest Kirigakure had to offer which she imagined the group would utilize all corners given their Ninjutsu potential. She was already aware of Calis' potential with his sand technique, and Arisu while not completely known personally, showed a lot of great promise. And of course Hana being the Mizukage had access to some of the more powerful water Ninjutsu Kirigakure had to offer.

The air was chilly despite being the afternoon with overcast skies blocking most of the sunlight. The grass was kept trimmed providing an easy surface to tread. A small lake was situated one-hundred meters near Hana. The body of water was a couple hundred meters across and several dozen meters deep. The land Hana stood on the was apart of a clearing in the jungle that expanded three-hundred meters in all directions besides the lake before running into the dense jungle. Hana waited patiently for the Genin to arrive, left hand resting on Kurosawa's pommel maintaining awareness of her surroundings.

Post by Peragus Sat Jan 11, 2020 10:18 pm

The summons came in the early afternoon. Calis had spent all of last night training with three other shinobi. Who had agreed to help him make some of his technique ideas become reality. They had succeeded and he was supposed to take them to dinner that night in thanks. He had stopped by the market on his way home and purchased 10 lbs of ebon dust, which he kept in a simple pouch tied at his waist. He still wore his shihakusho and haori, however this time. He inverted the colours. So he wore a white Shihakusho and a Black Haori. The symbol of Kirigakure was proudly displayed upon the back of the Haori, in lieu of the headband most carried instead. Black combat boots rounded out the look with the exception of two white bandaids on his cheeks. Small cuts that had been souvenirs of the training from last night. Kunai nicks he had obtained while practicing one of his new techniques. Cheek cuts bled annoyingly and he needed the bandaids to ensure they didn’t continue doing so. He had slept a bit since the training, hell, he had been asleep when the summons came. However the Mizukage was not someone you told to ‘Wait until later’ so despite his desire to sleep more before taking his friends to dinner, he came immediately after showering and dressing. In order to ensure his presentability.

He had almost forgotten the pouch of ebon dust, which he needed if she intended to ‘test his mettle’. He knew he had done well for a genin in their last spar. This time, she would be looking for ‘more’. He needed to show it, although he didn’t rightly know what she was testing his mettle for. Was she nervous about letting him participate in the exams? Did she want to ensure he could hack it and if he couldn’t, would she keep him from entering so as not to embarrass Kirigakure? He hoped not, and he’d unload everything he could at her to prove that not only was he capable of representing Kirigakure, but that he’d tear the competition apart if she allowed him to enter.

Arriving at training ground forty four, he would see Hana waiting decked out in full combat gear with her hand resting upon the hilt of what was probably the most magnificently crafted weapon Calis had ever seen. ‘Lord, I hope I can earn the right to carry a blade like that one day.’ He would think to himself as he moved to meet her. He intended to focus his time and effort to that of the sword when he was confident in his abilities with his bloodline, and ninjutsu as a whole. He wanted to make sure he had a fall back ability to use if he needed to in a tough situation. That way if he couldn’t hack it with his blade, he could at least fall back upon his ninjutsu to handle situations.

Arriving at Hana’s location, Calis would give a polite bow. “Good afternoon Hana.” He would say, remembering that she disliked the honorifics that naturally came with her title. “I hope I didn’t make you wait too long.” He would say as he came back up to his full height. He was a full half a foot taller than her, although anyone who thought that truly mattered would be an idiot. His eyes took in the armored form, noting the metal plates, and rivets adorning her attire. If he was honest. Hana was a striking woman, with white hair, pale features, and yellow eyes. Calis didn’t know her particularly well, but the only reason he didn’t truly try to flirt with her was because of the fact that she was his boss. It simply wasn’t proper, however that was beside the point. He had been summoned, and he had arrived as promptly as he could manage. Now the ball was firmly in her court.

High Performance Genin Empty Re: High Performance Genin

Post by Arisu Sun Jan 12, 2020 2:41 am

Arisu had signed in for the exams and had been on her way to the room she was assigned when she was given instructions to go to the training grounds instead. Arisu wasn't quite sure what it was that Hana wanted from her, but she wasn't one to be against instructions when it came to that sort of thing, so she just got up and left the room she'd been in and headed to the training grounds instead.

The Otsutsuki woman wore a simple black jumpsuit and plain headband that doubled as an eyepatch as well as covered her forehead. She didn't really use ninja tools or gear all that much, and she'd been at the exam room, so she didn't actually have anything on her apart from that, which was still plenty fine for her. Arisu's item usage was usually generated rather than pre-bought, and she was a ninjutsu specialist more than anything else anyhow.

Standing at 5'8", Arisu was tall for a woman, and incredibly pale, much like a Kaguya would be, so most Kiri-nin assumed she was one. Paired with her white hair, it was a common assumption for most people to make that she was simply a Kaguya, but Hana would know quite well that she wasn't one. Perhaps that was the reason Hana had pulled Arisu from the exams, not wanting Arisu to use her Rinnegan during the exams. Perhaps she didn't want her to do the exams at all.

Arisu wouldn't really make any assumptions about it though. If this was just a test of Arisu's skills, then she'd comply to the best of her abilities, and see what happened from there. There was no point in worrying about it. She'd either impress or she wouldn't. Worrying about it helped absolutely nothing. Still, fighting a Kaguya, and the Kage on top of that, wouldn't be easy. Under no stretch of the imagination was Arisu under the impression that she stood a chance at actually winning.

Arriving at the fields, Arisu saw Hana as expected, but also another. Perhaps Arisu had misinterpreted and that it was supposed to be a test against someone else. Bowing to them as she approached, Arisu lazily watched the two of them. Her blue eye was shown, the other one hidden by the patch, and she hadn't deigned to activate her Rinnegan, keeping that under wraps for the moment. It was an ace in the hole, after all. "Good afternoon. Is he my opponent?" Arisu asked, gesturing to Calis. Why waste words and time? It was easier to get to the point quickly.

High Performance Genin Empty Re: High Performance Genin

Post by Hana Kaguya Sun Jan 12, 2020 3:33 am

The two Genin would flock in almost one after another. Hana would become less upset after having them both here instead of having to wait longer. Calis introduced himself as Arisu was still making her way across the large open field. "Not at all. I was enjoying the dull, gray sky." Hana spoke passive aggressively not being amused by their tardiness, despite how minuscule it was. But there was not a whole lot Hana could do to entertain herself by being raised in the modern lifestyle following Kirigakure's transformation over the years. Undoubtedly she was spoiled by the luxuries a modern age technological society offered. But shortly after Arisu would join the two and she could get down to business.

"Haha, you wish!" Hana spouted following Arisu's question. "No, today you both will be tested. Like a skills test. You both have proven to be fairly exceptional. Part of me wishes to see what you both are capable of in a real battle scenario outside of the rubric the department of education designed for the Chuunin Exams. Another part doesn't want either of you to expose your abilities in a tournament. The Water Empire isn't the most popular given our history. So I feel it may be the best to keep any highly unique abilities in secrecy until then. You both are still going to be considered for Chuunin. And that's why you are both here. You two will be trying to defeat me in an open combat scenario. Every dirty trick you have, use them. There is nothing to hide here."

Hana would take her hand off the hilt of her sword letting her arms hang freely at her side. "But likewise, I will be trying to defeat you. I'm not going to go ham and try to kill you both. But know that I won't hold back much and you could potentially suffer serious injuries. So cover each other's weaknesses and come at me with everything you got. I don't want to waste time with 'you have any questions' because it's pretty self explanatory. So the fighting will start NOW."

Bending her knees Hana kicked back while both of her hands reached into her hip pouch. She stuffed a kunai handle between each gap between her fingers arming herself with eight kunai in total. As she dashed away from the two Genin she'd bring her arms around forward unleashing the volley of kunai at the ten meter mark. Both Calis and Arisu would have to negotiate four kunai aimed centermass lest they choose to try and tank them. The kunai served as a distraction to stunt their actions as Hana opted to get distance between her opponents, which generally meant something big was to come given Hana's known close-quarters combat focus.

And big comes was correct. Hana's hands come together forming four hand signs in quick succession after she threw her kunai as she landed fifteen meters away from the two. Her stomach filled with water and mouth opened as a powerful torrent of water escaped between her lips. The water torrent was a meter wide in diameter as it expanded after leaving her mouth. She'd start at Calis and turn her head to the side sweeping the water torrent to Arisu in attempts to blast both of them with the fast moving water hose. Despite how temporary the contact would be it carried enough stopping power to put either of them on their burgers.

High Performance Genin Empty Re: High Performance Genin

Calis would listen carefully as Hana spoke, mild disappointment on his features as he wanted to show to the world how powerful he really was. However, she had a point. Some of abilities weren’t well known, and giving potential enemies valuable information about him. He knew absolutely nothing about his partner in this. Not even her name, since no one had been polite enough to friggin say it. Although he supposed he was guilty of not introducing himself to her too. But he arrived first damnit, most people introduced themselves immediately as a matter of course. What was she? Some type of alien? ‘Suuure Calis, and you keep deciding to blame rudeness to people being from outer space and people will expect you to put on a tin foil hat.’ He thought to himself as he gathered his chakra. This fight would be fast and dirty, Hana had literally requested it be that way. Calis wasn’t one to disappoint a ladies request.

The moment she said fight multiple things would occur. First, he’d flip through a quick seal with one hand as he moved them together, this limited his speed with them but it was still fairly quick (B). Immediately upon doing so four tons of Ebon Dust would explode from his pouch  and he’d immediately activate his Shield of Sand technique. The majority of the dust would move to the side, providing a large mass to attack from. Some of it however would move to circle around Arisu and Calis, protecting them from attacks that couldn’t outpace their B rank speed outright or break through their A++ defense. Due to the close proximity of the ebon dust when Calis activated the technique it would have no trouble surrounding both Arisu and Calis, who were standing only a few feet away from each other. The dust would reach around easily and catch the eight kunai thrown from ten meters away by Hana. Dropping them at Arisu’s feet in case she wanted to use them.

Once the Shield of Sand technique had been activated, Calis would activate his Iron Sand Drizzle technique, forming his hand into the half ram seal. Using the mass of ebon dust to his left, with Arisu on his right, to fire multiple machine like rounds at Hana, ensuring that none of the attacks would hit him or Arisu. The bullets would fire off right after Hana had thrown the eight Kunai and should reach her as she reached the fifteen meter mark and in the middle of her hand seals, if she continued to perform them. Just in case, the shield of Sand would stay moving around Calis and Arisu, not impairing their vision of their opponent in the slightest but ready to move to defend from any attacks that might come their way. So that if she chose to complete those seals, it would move to defend against the water bullet. Not only that, but with his sand now replaced by Ebon Dust, it no longer absorbed water jutsu. Meaning the usual benefits of water techniques against his clan’s jutsu were now useless.

High Performance Genin Empty Re: High Performance Genin

Post by Arisu Tue Jan 14, 2020 2:41 am

Hana denied that Calis would be her opponent, stating that the test was going to be the two of them against her. Two genin vs a Kage. She seemed confident enough that she could hold back against the two of them, while also having the two of them pull any tactics they could, dirty or not. Arisu looked her over, unsure that she really wanted to fight Arisu's full offensive capabilities, so for now she'd just settle on being as good of a fighter as she could be. Relying on her ninjutsu would have to do for now, using her full Doujutsu abilities wouldn't be quite... appropriate.

It was pretty understandable that Hana wouldn't want to show all of her best and most unique fighter's capabilities. Still, she hadn't pulled everyone, and Arisu wasn't a supremely skilled fighter. Her power came from her bloodline and chakra reserves, not her fighting prowess. Still, her ninjutsu would probably be enough to showcase her as a capable fighter. She'd provide the back up support for Calis, if that was the case, and cover his weaknesses. The problem was, she had no clue what his skills were, and hadn't had time to actually discuss with him before hand, so she was going into it more or less blind.

Hana jumped back to try and gain some distance, and launched some kunai at them that Calis's 'sand' blocked. Arisu activated her Rinnegan, since the fight was on, and her eyes turned into a full purple with 1 additional ring to what there should have been visible. The white and black portions of her eyes completely vanished, although she didn't lift the portion of the mask covering her eyes, keeping the one hidden for the time being. It was a small attempt at insurance that someone wouldn't take both of her eyes if they ever did, thinking that she may have already lost one.

However, with her Rinnegan active, Arisu was ready for combat at this point in time. Holding up a hand at Hana, Arisu's palm faced towards her and she channeled her chakra into her palm. Some setup was required, so if Hana wanted them to fight dirty, she would. An almost black flame of dust resonated around her hand and then launched forward, turning into a barrage of needles that fired forward towards Hana, with Arisu waving her hand slightly to create a wider spread of needles at standing level. Not all would hit Hana if they did, but the point of the spread was to cover a 10 meter wide spread at torso level and perhaps land some of them.

Arisu's skill set with the Black Receivers and the Black Receiver Needles was unique in that she could take control of someone's chakra network by imposing her own chakra into them. Shutting people down like that was nice because she could actually end a fight non lethally that way, which was her preferred way of doing so. However, she wasn't sure if she'd be able to, since it largely depended on her opponent's levels of chakra as well, and Arisu wasn't quite at her peak yet.

Her opening was very simple, but she wanted to observe for now, and Calis seemed to have her covered for a defense currently. "I'm a mid to long range ninjutsu specialist. Katon and my needles and rods are my primary attacks. You?" Arisu gave a quick rundown summary of her skills so that he knew what she was comfortable with. Best thing was to first establish skill sets so that they didn't impede each other's actions. Firing Katon at an enemy would be much more difficult if the ally was a Taijutsu specialist for instance. But it was nice having someone provide a defense. It let her worry more about the attack, which meant that they could both attack and defend and Hana would be forced to do one or the other.

High Performance Genin Empty Re: High Performance Genin

Post by Hana Kaguya Tue Jan 14, 2020 3:55 am

When Hana started the fight she noticed not a single sign of hesitation between her opponents as their hands moved to form hand signs while the kunai targeted both of them. The once blond sand she was used to when fighting Calis was now black suggesting it was something tougher like iron or steel. Either that or Calis had a unique, artistic preference for volcanic sand. But if Hana wanted to bet on anything it would likely be the former. This sand rushed out from his hip pouch with the amount of sand easily being more than what he could actually fit in his pouch. It was certainly Ninjutsu at work here and a clever solution to either storage or income issues. But Hana didn't marvel at his creation for long watching Arisu materialize her own weapon and Calis' sand begin to shift. Hana dropped to one knee and placed both palms on the ground. Her palms were torn open at the breakthrough of a root-like system of bone sprouting from her own skeletal network. The moment the bone embedded itself in the soil a cluster of bone spears sprouted in front of her as more and more continued to grow making a beeline path towards the two Genin. They were tall spears standing five meters tall and plentiful.

The wall of bone spikes rose from the soil in the wake of the bone network as it pursued their location. All of the spears made a wall three meters in width meaning it would threaten both Arisu and Calis if they didn't move as it had the tenacity to skewer either of them. The technique worked in her favor as the hundreds of bone spikes that were created acted like dense foliage to their attacks. There was not a clear path for one projectile to make it clearly from one end to the other. The Ebony bullets created by Calis would cause some scuffing and scratches on the bone they impacted, but were either ricocheted from the sheer number of bone spikes, tumbled, or splattered against them directly. Arisu's needles suffered the same fate. The linear path of bone spears would extend to its full range being five meters past the both of them. Hana attempted to separate them both making the fight in her favor.

Hana was safe and concealed behind the wall of spikes. Using the momentary concealment she would merge with the root system of bone as her body seemingly melted into it. She'd use it as a highway to pursue Calis. Knowing how flexible his sand manipulation was she considered him the bigger threat of the two. With her sensory active she could pinpoint both of their locations and chakra signature. Once on the side of Calis she'd emerge fully as her body materialized out from a bone spear and lunged towards the young man. Having dashed towards Calis at full speed she'd throw a single pre-cocked punch to the side of his face.

High Performance Genin Empty Re: High Performance Genin

Post by Peragus Tue Jan 14, 2020 7:32 am

As the initial spikes of bones erupted from the ground another four tons of ebon dust would expel from the pouch he wore. The technique continuously made more of the substance so long as he kept it on his person and he would be using every scrap of it as usefully as he could. With more or less eight tons of ebon dust on the field. It would be useful to have if necessary, for it was stronger and more durable than normal sand. However that did not mean the regular stuff didn't have a use. Manipulating the ground beneath them he would create massive amounts of sand and before them an incredibly large wave of sand would form. It was an effective tidal wave of the grainy particles that shot forward toward Hana at its best speed (B+) to change the very terrain they fought upon. The tidal wave would be 40 meters wide and travel for 80 before finally settling, crushing everything in it's path with it's might (S Power).

After that was put into play, and when the erupting bone spikes had just reached the 10m point away from them. He would utilize his ebon dust around them to lift both him and Arisu into the air at his best speed (B). Once they were safely off the ground, his shield of sand would be able to protect them from attacks from that angle too. Ensuring that the spikes wouldn't be able to harm them. Once they erupted up from below, they would be intercepted by the shield of sand as they rose, and be unable to break through. "I'm also a mid to long range specialist if you couldn't tell." He would say, beginning his response to Arisu after his actions had been taken. "I can utilize wind, earth, and lightning elements. As well as utilize the forces of magnetism." He would continue, as if the latter wasn't obvious enough already. "For her part, she's a close range specialist with water ninjutsu as a back up. She has some interesting defensive techniques. The one we need to look out for the most however is a rain jutsu that seems to eat away chakra. She used it in an exhibition match against me and I couldn't fight her anymore." He would finish, giving what information he knew of Hana so that could try to utilize it to their advantage.

They really needed to bring her down, or impress her satisfactorily before she used that jutsu. He hadn't begun to shore up his close range combat techniques yet. He wanted to, and intended to. However he felt it best to ensure his mid to long range ninjutsu was nearly unstoppable before doing so. He felt he was more or less at that point now. But he needed to make sure before deciding to commit to something as time intensive as swordplay. That meant that if she utilizes that odd chakra eating rain jutsu again, he would be screwed. The tidal was one of his best techniques, and hopefully it would do some damage if it hit her.

High Performance Genin Empty Re: High Performance Genin

Post by Arisu Thu Jan 16, 2020 4:20 am

Arisu's needle receivers were expertly blocked by the Mizukage's bone wall, but what else could be expected against on such as she? Not only was she the Mizukage, an excellent fighter, but she was of Kaguya bloodline. Damaging one like her was going to prove to be quite troublesome. Calis, on the other hand, proved that he was an exceptionally dangerous fighter, turning the field into a veritable tidal wave of sand, and Arisu found herself appreciating his skills and talent with ninjutsu. It was best that they were on the same side, or a match between the two of them would have ended quite fast for certain.

His sand enveloped the two of them, and she found herself floating higher up in the air, out of melee range with Hana, which was perfect for the two ranged ninja. It was a shame that Arisu didn't have any bodies to use her 6 Paths of Pain on yet, or she could have provided additional sight, and combat assistance, but that would have to be discussed later. She couldn't just acquire bodies, after all. Some considered that problematic. Still,

Odd that she stood a better chance against the Mizukage currently than she would against the Kazehana, but that's just how certain match ups were. Calis explained his talents to her, and Arisu listened intently, particularly annoyed by the rain jutsu that could eat away chakra. She had, perhaps, one or two different ways to combat that, but it would limit her arsenal quite a bit if it was used. Luckily, that was probably one of those double edged things that could also affect the user, and Arisu smiled.

"Make her use the technique then." She began to form some black receiver rods, making 5 of them in total, each only about a foot long, and handed them to Calis. "I'm unsure whether your magnetism will affect these, but even if not, they blend in well with your dark sand. Scatter these for me, or if you can, pierce the Mizukage with them. Even if they aren't magnetic, if you can carry us, you can easily hide these, after all. I'll know where they are, I can project my chakra to them."

Arisu scanned the ground for Hana's form to see what she was planning, if the tidal wave hadn't managed to take her down. "Katon, Raiton, Doton, Fuuton, and your and my bloodlines. We should be able to cover any elemental interaction we need to."

For now it was the waiting game though. There was little she could do until she was reacting to Hana, but the sheer amount of sand might make it difficult to see her if she was in it. Understandably, the chakra consuming technique was a hard counter to Calis's sand attacks, and barring that, it would be excessively difficult to defeat him, so she figured it would be inevitable. If Hana had had to use it before, that meant she'd be more likely to have to use it again in a 2v1 situation, where she'd think she'd have the advantage as a martial fighter.

    - used Black Receiver rods x5 for 1 chakra spent
5 with Calis, 1 rod's worth of needles buried in the sand.

High Performance Genin Empty Re: High Performance Genin

Post by Hana Kaguya Thu Jan 16, 2020 7:07 am

Hana felt the presence of chakra swarm the battlefield around her as it rushed through the bone spears. She figured it was best to stay in the shelter of the bone wall until it was over. Although the ebony sand was powerful it would fail to completely decimate the bone spears. A lot of the bone suffered integrity damage from the sweeping pressure while several of the bones closest to Calis were partially broken off given the way the wave clashed with the length of the spears giving them more surface area to cause damage. But as the wave lost steam Hana was safe and most of her bone wall remained. She sensed her opponent's presence. They were lifted into the air by Calis no doubt. Him and his sand platform technique. Hana wasn't keen on pulling out Kirisame, as tempting as it might be to thwart their Ninjutsu and force them onto her turf. But Hana figured the moment she pulled it out was the moment she acknowledged they were superior and she lost.

From within the safety of her own bone wall she held the Seal of Confrontation as she utilized the abundant moisture from the lake and air to condense it. The howling of the wind occurred as a dense mist rolled in from the lake and covered the battlefield. They were at the heart of it making an escape in any direction a good walk (125 m.) The mist served as a means to allow Hana to advance without being targeted in the open. Normally smoke bombs would work, though those generally were preferable in smaller enclosed areas. The Mist technique covered a greater range giving her opponents little to work off of. They'd be blinded unless they could dispel the mist.

But Hana didn't want to count on a measly D-rank technique to thwart two ninja she considered Chuunin. She had to work quick and take advantage of the small lapse in planning to assault them. With her sensory active she knew exactly where they were. And from her best judgement they didn't know where she was. Hana disappeared from their point of view the moment she summoned her bone wall. After merging with them her body was nowhere to be found. And now that the mist swallowed the training area they would both be unable to find her without some special technique.

Separating herself from one of the bones she activated the Silent Killing technique, which was a practice of stealth known exclusively by Kirigakure's military. It made her movements impossible to detect by sound alone as long as she remained cautious. Hana would step out of the bone and put both feet on the ground. They both shared a platform as it hovered several meters above Hana being a few courtesy meters above the spears for safety measures. Explosives worked well against ordinary sand, but she had her doubts with what Calis was now using. Stealth was her best option. Bending her knees she'd leap from ground and to the shared platform of Calis and Arisu. She kept her jump precise practically climbing up the side given how shallow her movements were. As part of the Silent Killing technique a key was to make as little impact on the environment as possible. She stayed low stalking between the two where she felt the most room was available.

Hana created a set of sharp bone studs over her knuckles to enhance impact. She recalled Calis using some defensive technique around his body which made her numerous Taijutsu attempts futile. One encounter was forgettable, but it was the fact that Hana could sense his chakra all over his body was what jogged her memory of their previous spar. As for Arisu it was just her unlucky day to have to deal with Hana's knuckle dusters thanks to her partner in this bout. Attacking Calis first would make the most sense. If Hana were to slug Arisu that would alarm Calis and that whole platform might as well swallow her whole. By keeping Arisu with her he would have to be wary of his teammate. Confident in her stealthy approach she'd position herself for a powerful straight jab with her offhand sending her knuckles into his sternum. Calis would know nothing of her approach and only catch the sighting of her arm emerging from the fog a few centimeters before him. The added bone studs were sharp and given their quality (A/S) they'd likely serve to pierce the shield of sand given her speed and strength driving it.

The studs worked to shatter the integrity of the shield of sand causing a depression in his armor. This allowed her to fight using Taijutsu as normal. The armor would catch her studded fists preventing any puncturing of Calis' tissue, but the armor gave in enough to suffer Taijutsu as usual. In the events of success Calis would be thrown far off his platform. He would still be blinded due to the mist's presence making their location or where he would even land a complete mystery.

Standing upon his platform, and listening to Arisu speak as the tidal wave settled. Her desire to make the Mizukage use the very rain technique that had crippled him so easily the week prior was annoying by understandable. He didn’t know his partners capabilities and she seemed confident she could handle the jutsu if necessary. Taking the chakra rods she gave him he would wordlessly toss them into the Ebon Dust streaming out of his pouch. Another four tons was on the field and the amount would continue to increase. Now however the dust would begin to move about the field. Scattering about in masses with Arisu’s rods in the them. They were two ton masses with the last two being used to maintain their flight and shield. He had made sure to separate the chakra rods his partner had given him between them and that ensured they had the most presence possible on the field. It was important to ensure that every avenue was covered and so he would separate those five, two ton masses around them, none of which being more than 10 meters away from them and began to circulate them around.

    Then the mist came.

That was about what he’d expect. Hana would want the cover to close the distance and bring them into close quarters combat. He doubted he’d even hear her approach if she ran upon his sand given it’s loose structure in general. In speaking of sand, it now covered the field everywhere within that 80 by 50 meter area and the bone spikes had proven to be far more durable than he had expected. ‘How much damage can these damn things take?’ He would think as the mist fully formed. Wordlessly he’d activate Passing Typhoon, a wind release jutsu that dispelled the mist easily enough. Wind release wasn’t his most efficient element, usually costing him a bit more chakra than it normally would. For this reason he tended to avoid using it if he could. However this jutsu was fairly inexpensive despite that and it’s utility in this case was absolutely incalculable. The mist would be blown away from them and would reveal the field to them both once more, eliminating the cover that the Mizukage had created at the same time she jumped.

Calis’ now unimpaired vision now showed him the field and he’d see no direct sign of Hana. This would be due to her jumping from almost directly below, his own platform acting as a ‘cover’. The moment that she began to appear above the threshold of the platform however, his actions would begin immediately. Firest he’d separate a half ton platform with Arisu on it and move it away. This would cause her to no longer be protected by his shield of sand. However it would  ensure his partner wasn’t in immediate taijutsu range and giving her the option to counter attack should she gain an opening. At the same time he would  separate his own half ton and begin moving it back. At his best speed, although not letting it get further than 30m away. Finally the other ton would reach for Hana. Making to grasp her at a much greater rate of speed than she had seen in their last fight (B). The mass of ebon dust would attempt to effectively open up toward her as a large ‘maw’ and catch her like that. At the same time, he would bring in all five masses of ebon dust around to move to catch her should the initial fail. The power of the prison would be similar to the last time she had faced it. Meaning it would require strength of the highest order to brute force out.

High Performance Genin Empty Re: High Performance Genin

Post by Arisu Sat Jan 18, 2020 3:52 pm

Calis was definitely the bigger threat, but Arisu wasn't without her own abilities either. The mist obscured the area around them, and Arisu found it impossible to see through it. She heard nothing from Hana either, and everything became silent but the sounds of her own breathing and Calis's shifting sand particles. It was an eerie feeling, that left Arisu's spine tingling as the cloying moisture stuck to her. A feeling of impending doom upon her. It wasn't long to last, as Calis utilized a wind jutsu to disperse the mist.

As Hana began her attack, Calis shifted Arisu away from him, presumably to get her out of taijutsu range from Hana, as well as to give himself more room to attack her. However, this was also a moment for Arisu to initiate her own counter. Arisu lifted up a hand at Hana and channeled the power of her Rinnegan through her body, calling upon the chains of the Gedou Statue, and from the palm of her right hand, 5 chains sprouted, each one launching towards Hana from their short distance to wrap her up.

The chains themselves were extremely durable, and further restricted the power that anyone besides Arisu herself could utilize jutsu upon touching them. In short, they drastically weakened and bound anyone touching them, making it almost impossible to escape, while from there, Arisu could pierce her opponents with Black Receiver Rods and suppress their chakra with her own.

While she had some sure kill techniques, Arisu also knew that capturing an opponent and keeping them alive while also making sure they couldn't escape or be a further danger was incredibly important. If Hana was captured by Arisu's chains, then her defeat was almost assured, as she would likely be unable to escape, and her jutsu power would be drastically weakened, so a defense would prove to be difficult.

As the masses containing her chakra rods closed in towards Hana, Arisu would point her free hand at each of the masses raising her palm and channeling her chakra to each rod. She then launched them through the masses, using her Black Receiver Launch technique to attempt to pin them into Hana's body. They all fired in rapid succession, two towards the back of Hana's legs, where the knee connected. Two launched towards Hana's ankles, looking to pierce through the leather boots. The final one headed, instead, towards center mass, sliding itself through Arisu's chain links, and locking them into place.

Hana was wearing enough armor for it to be problematic for Arisu to try and find weak points, so she targets the ankle and back of the knee particularly to try and find weak points at the joints, where it would have to be something less rigid if there was any armor there, to allow for motion and flexibility. However, knowing that Hana's armor was probably strong enough to deal with the force of her Launch technique, Arisu was comfortable using a rod to keep her chains held together, to keep slack from occuring.

Arisu formed a Ram seal, making another rod in her hand, and lined up another shot, getting ready to launch another rod through the chains in case she needed to, this one a little longer, at a meter in length. Was this the match, or did Hana have something else up her sleeve?

Hana infiltrated their platform without must effort when she was greeted by a fluctuation of chakra where a sudden gust of wind followed. From what she could tell the technique was designed for clearing smoke screens given how soft the gust was. It wasn't powerful enough to cause her to budge, but just enough to push the mist aside. She was compromised as both Calis and Arisu knew exactly where she was. She didn't have time to sneak up on Calis like she had initially intended. His chakra fluctuated as a density began to form around the sand she was standing on. Whether a spike floor, geyser, or coffin was what to follow didn't matter to her. With the knowledge of his chakra fluctuation before the sand began to move her legs were ready to pounce at the boy distancing himself. Utilizing Flower Rush, a maneuverability technique she based off of her years of running track, she'd spring off the platform keeping her knees close to her chest forcing the sand to reach even higher if Calis were to try and snag her. But that wouldn't matter as Hana was sure to win because her speed is superior.

Dashing straight at Calis she had her studded bone knuckles prepared where she would follow through with her initial plan, this time with a lot more force behind her due to the speed of her lunge adding  that much more velocity and body weight. The chains pursued Hana though were unable to efficiently catch up or interrupt her in assaulting Calis.

Extending her arm forward she pitched her straight jab utilizing Dance of the Blossom for form and Mach Punch to execute her attack targeting the same location as she had originally planned in hopes of knocking the young man off his platform and take some heavy damage in the process. She'd use her free hand to grab Calis by the collar in the process to follow him to the ground. They would stay together with their descent to grassy field, the angle of their fall and the speed of force behind their movement avoiding the needle attack performed by Arisu. Her sensory remained active for any follow attacks from Calis or Arisu, but in the moment she had Calis she would capitalize off the moment by repeating wide, powerful hooks to the face alternating arms while doing so to increase the efficiency of the ground and pound. She kept her weight on top and legs astride his torso to lock him down. Given the repetition the bone studs backed by her power would without a doubt tear away from the sand shield eventually leading to full powered attacks against his bare face.

The mass of sand he himself stood upon would be 5 meters away from the mass Hana had stood upon when the Kaguya woman sprung off the platform directly at him. Her speed had increased quite a bit for this assault however as she left the platform his hand would flash into two seals as the sand behind her began to writhe up to attempt to reach her. It would continue to move toward her, it's speed outclassed by the Kaguya womans. Arisu would be utilizing some kind of strange chain assault upon her as well. It too however would be hopelessly unable to catch the woman as she moved to strike him. As Hana moved through the air, Calis' hands would complete the seals he needed. Dragon and hare, the hand seals that would temporarily make Calis completely immune to Hana's assault so long as she wasn't projecting long bone protrusions that would stab him outside of his techniques range. Magnetic Repulsion was a technique that applied a like magnetic force around him, just a few inches off the surface of his form. The jutsu itself would repel any metallic object that struck it. The field was so strong that it would force away those objects with the highest level of force he could think of (S).

The force field would come up just before Hana's fist, and more importantly the studded ends of her gloves. The same gloves with metal plates on the back of them. The field would react to those plates, and violently throw her back along her original path, assuming that she couldn't get enough physical strength to brute force her way through. The repelling field would throw her directly into the masses of Ebon Dust and chains that was still following along behind. Should this work the ebony particles would constrict her movement as his hands flipped through two more seals. The force of the dusts' binding upon her would be of similar strength to the shield and the particles would cover her near totally, leaving only her face uncovered.

Upon the ending his second set of seals, Bird and Snake, he would raise a hand, fore and middle finger pointed toward the Ebon Dust. Immediately, a thin bolt of lightning would fire from the tips of his fingers at blinding speed and power (S). The thin bolt would look deadly as it was. A concentrated beam of lightning chakra was rather elegant in his view. However that thin bolt would become much more the moment it struck the metallic particles of the prison restraining Hana. The power of the jutsu would spread through the particles, doing it's damage everywhere they touched all at once, rather than simply piercing a single place through and through.

As he launched that jutsu, he would manipulate all three of them down to the ground, safely avoiding the Seedling Fern spikes and landing them 20 meters away from the nearest one. He had to conserve chakra at this point, for he was reaching dangerous levels and he could only maintain his defenses for a time. He made sure he was not between Arisu and the Kaguya, making sure she had full line of sight and that he was out of the line of fire.

Post by Arisu Wed Jan 22, 2020 6:28 am

Arisu's chains would either hit or miss, depending on the way that things went. Unfortunately, there was nothing more that Arisu could do in either case. If Calis had been grabbed and taken down, then she couldn't really attack down into them without actually hitting her ally. Otherwise things would progress and they'd have captured Hana, and there was nothing more to do at that point. It largely depended on what actually happened, but Hana was faster than Arisu and any of her attacks currently, and her hands were occupied with the chains and the launched Black Receiver Rods.

However, Arisu would be ready for either case. Calis would have been running out of chakra given the scope of his jutsu for sure. Arisu was still mostly full up on her own chakra though, so even if he was eliminated, she would take her own round of combat soon. Hana wouldn't be prepared for what Arisu could do on her own. Arisu wasn't quite sure she would win, but there was more that she had in store. It was good to keep some things under wraps, but this was also a chance for a promotion, and she needed to assure that she would.

Whether Hana was captured or not, Arisu would form a seal to summon something, chains still coming from her palms. "Summoning jutsu, Gedo Mazou." Placing her hand on the floor of whatever she was on, whether the ground or the platform, a seal would appear, and from it, a massive, multi eyed, emaciated statue would crawl out of it. The eyes were covered with a cloth band, and its hands were bound by chains as a prisoner would be. A loud, menacing rumble would emanate from it, but the statue was definitely docile for the time being. Perhaps it knew Arisu wasn't in a serious death situation, and so it reacted how she wanted for the moment, simply looming over the field.

Linked as it was to Arisu's Rinnegan, it could see Hana even despite its eyes covered, and the head of the statue turned towards Hana, and the statue got on all fours behind Arisu, looming over her specifically in a protective manner. "Is this enough proof of our skill, or do you need a demonstration of its capabilities as well?" Arisu asked.

(I'll add gedou stuff later if needed.)

Post by Hana Kaguya Wed Jan 22, 2020 8:02 am

Following her linear path she was confident she would have the pleasure to landing her first hit this spar. But just as her hand moved moments from his sternum she felt immediate resistance. The back plates on her gloves were repelled almost immediately pulling her body back with it. There was such incredible polarity at work to move her around like that. He managed to completely counter her attack and send her back a great deal. This inevitably sent her back into all of the problems she was running from. She'd be 'cushioned' by the mass of black sand preventing her from falling back anymore. More threats closed in, but she was not going to be succumbed to their collaborative attacks. A sudden expulsion of chakra was emitted from Hana's back side in the form of a shockwave. This was a powerful force enough to completely disperse the black sand that was beginning to wrap around her. The scattering of the sand forced momentary loss of control causing it to fall lifelessly around her. The burst of energy would stall the chains momentarily as well, not powerful enough to destroy them but give Hana additional freedom to escape.

The propulsion kicked her off from the sand nest created by Calis and towards the ground. She'd land on both feet making a dutiful retreat away from both Calis and Arisu. She'd attempt to clear a solid twenty meters from both of them giving her plenty of time to react if they wanted to try anything special. But her sensing Calis' reserves she doubted he had much fight left in him. Arisu on the other hand was doing something bige. She caught the fluctuation of chakra as her palms touched the ground. Whatever she planned on doing she dumped a lot of energy into it forcing the ground to tremor. Emerging from the ground was a grotesque creation. Certainly a summon of some sort seeing how it had its own substantial chakra reserves. It'd take a protective stance over Arisu, the creature remaining docile for now.

"Biggie stuff. Calis has been pulling your weight during this exercise. It's nice to see you pull something like this, though I want to see how well you fair without Calis holding you the whole way." Hana performed three hand signs in quick succession forcing the dreadful Mist Rain to take over the battlefield. As the rain fell it immediately dissolved any structure of the black sand Calis created while eating any exposed Ninjutsu in the area. Hana reached to grab her hood and pulled it over her head to keep her head dry. The rain was too close to a shower. She didn't want to get smelly like a wet dog followed her neglectful shower streak. Hana wanted to test Arisu's ability to protect a weakened ally. Given her new friend she didn't expect it to be a difficult task. The creation looked solid and that it could take a beating. She questioned why she created the Mist Rain seeing how it locked her own Ninjutsu potential. Ninjutsu, being something she would probably prefer against that thing. But like all summons, the easy target was the summoner. Or in this case, their fallen ally.

Post by Peragus Sun Jan 26, 2020 2:59 am

Calis was tired, and it would be no surprise to anyone. He wasn’t made a chakra after all and it was severely draining on him to use such mass area changing jutsu while maintaining a powerful defensive presence and giving them some mobility too. However that would soon come to an end and he had to make sacrifices to keep his chakra lasting a bit longer. Upon landing, and ensuring that he and Arisu landed together, he would keep his eyes directly upon the Kaguya woman who had once again escaped what he thought was a victory by the skin of her teeth. The question he has was if she was even trying, or was she simply enjoying the damn ride. He knew ‘knew’ damnit, that if he could catch her, they could win, would win even. He had a feeling of what would be coming next. That stupid rain that ate away his chakra. Was it a crutch for her? Would she have to resort to it in every fight they had because she was afraid to otherwise? He wasn’t sure, for all he knew she didn’t have to use it at all and simply wanted to use what he’d already seen to keep her full arsenal hidden. There were simply too many factors for him to be able to guess which one it was, especially when he simply didn’t know her all that well.

Then Arisu would summon what equated to a statue of an eldritch abomination. A moving one no less. He’d look up in mild confusion at the gigantic thing and blink up at it once or twice as Arisu and Hana spoke. That was certainly impressive, he had a technique that could turn himself into a fighting form of that size but it was much too slow to keep up with Hana so he didn’t bother using it. This thing could be faster than that form though, and it made for one hell of an intimidating presence.

    And then the rain came.

‘Of course, she’d want to test Arisu now too and now she has to ‘protect me’ while fighting Her.' Now he’d used his magnetic repulsion technique to send her flying she wouldn’t fall for it a second time. She’d come in with a plan against it, meaning it probably wouldn’t be very helpful. However they were all standing upon sand at this point, remnants of his earlier tidal wave and he could potentially use that sand. But only if he gave up pretty much all of his chakra expenditure. ‘One good thing about this huge thing though, is that it makes for one hell of an umbrella.’ He would as the things body had blocked the rain from reaching either him or Arisu, effectively freeing them from that rain’s debilitating effects. Hana would have to come to them, or they would have to move with the thing. “I’m almost out of chakra, as I’m sure you could guess, and I can’t say I’d be very useful regardless with this rain up. I haven’t had practice with the more physical aspects of martial prowess yet I’m afraid.” He would say as every jutsu he had forcefully shut down. There was no point in keeping his dust generation jutsu active in this rain, for the statue could only hold so much room. The sand that was also under the statue, and thus protected from the rain, would suffice, not only that but he could always make more now that they were on the ground so long as he had the statue to protect against the process.

‘Does this rain stop earth jutsu too? If I made a giant sinkhole under her would it stop it? How would it do it if it could?’ He would think as he glanced at the rain, keeping Hana in his sight just in case and pondering it. He figured she couldn’t use her ninjutsu either, which meant she would have to close the distance to a place where he and Arisu could both act against her.

High Performance Genin Empty Re: High Performance Genin

Post by Arisu Fri Jan 31, 2020 9:49 am

"The rain will make my arsenal quite a deal smaller, but that's fine. Don't worry about it, I'll cover you. You've done enough for now. I have plenty of chakra left." Arisu said, the rain sizzling on her chains. Interestingly enough, the chains didn't disappear, although they did retract back into her hands, something she'd been wondering about. Neither did the statue. It appeared that even though the Kirisame ate chakra, it was limited to ninjutsu, and since her chains weren't quite a ninjutsu, it didn't apply to them. The sealing power of the chains against ninjutsu and chakra appeared to benefit just as well.

The Gedo statue pulled its arms apart, shattering the chains binding its hands, as the docile nature switched to attack mode. Arisu and Calis stayed under the main body of it, and it stayed over them like a giant looming umbrella. Underneath the canopy of the statue, Arisu and Calis could use ninjutsu, but anywhere else, it would be impossible. A challenge for sure, but Arisu didn't need to worry about that too much. Hana also couldn't use ninjutsu, so the playing field would be level for the time being.

Arisu moved over to stand directly next to Calis, and she formed 3 hand seals, activating the Lion's Mane technique, her hair growing at an advanced rate, wrapping around the them in a small dome. Hana had to get close to hit them, so Arisu added in a layer of protection for that eventuality. The Gedo's right hand moved over them, and would stay there, moving with them if they moved to keep the rain off of them.

The left arm of the colossal statue picked up and hammered down towards the Mizukage, and would collide with her if she didn't avoid it, smashing into the ground regardless, resulting in a massive earthquake-like force that cracked the field and distended the ground around it due to the massive amount of force behind it. The statue rivaled the Bijuu in raw power, although it was fairly slow in comparison. Being the husk of the 10 tails still provided it more than enough power to take out most opponents. From there, if Hana had dodged, the arm would sweep towards her, aiming to swat her. The power demonstration was the major thing.

Arisu spoke, wanting to let Hana know it had capabilities she couldn't show her. "I can channel a technique through the statue that kills anything it touches, but obviously I can't show you that one." It was a small thing, but Arisu wasn't like Calis. She watched and waited, rather than blowing her whole load all at once. It was easier to react to things and pace out a fight than to overexert just to try and end it fast. When it came down to it, Arisu knew that her chakra supply would more than likely outlast anyone she fought, and while she could do more, she liked to focus on only a couple of things at a time. Running out of chakra would leave her more or less useless, so conservation was important.

High Performance Genin Empty Re: High Performance Genin

Arisu's response to the change of events was a very correct one which stopped Hana in her tracks. As long as the rain stayed active it prohibited Hana from working at full capacity. This would normally be in her favor if a giant golem wasn't her opponent. Arisu nonchalantly offered her hair as shelter as the two Genin fortified themselves from under the statue. This meant Hana had to somehow pass this creature up without Ninjutsu to get within striking distance, and even then the white furry dome Arisu created didn't look inviting. Its structure suggested it was fortified by chakra to some degree and getting pin-cushioned would be the least of her desires. Hana had methods to deal with this situation, but that would be too tryhard for what was originally a Chuunin amplitude test. And from what Hana saw before her it was clear the two Genin exceeded Chuunin in power individually. A few weak spots from either of them needed to be touched up, but they were exceptionally powerful and well on their way to Jounin rank.

Hana pounced back in response to the statue's powerful hammer fist attack with enough speed and perception to negotiate being crushed. But the shockwave proved as an equally challenging obstacle following the impact of the summon's fist. The ground cracked and upturned. Hana staggered and fell to one knee. "Time out!" She shouted, being the first words she could think of when calling the test quits. She was outside of the statue's range, but it would take nothing more than a quick shift of its body to get within striking range. Hana cancelled her rain fall technique as the precipitation stopped and the sky even began to clear up. The normal overcast was broken up to partly cloudy conditions.

She wanted to be sure the others heard as she awaited for the statue to be dispelled. Once this was done Hana approached the pair casually while inspecting her clothes and patting off any dirt that remained. "I think you've all made your point. Continuing to refer you both as 'low-ranking ninja' is an insult to your individual abilities. From here on you will both be considered Chuunin. There are a slew of benefits anybody in HR could fill you in on, including salary increase, eligibility for bonus, vacation time, and plenty of opportunity to better yourself as a ninja. But yeah. Congrats. Feel free to celebrate for a week." Hana stood before the two of them if they had any questions. The promotion was fairly direct and anticlimactic, but Hana didn't care about giving 'epic' speeches. They came here because she figured the wanted to avoid all that stuff to begin with.

Calis would listen to Arisu claim the rain would hinder her severely as well. The great statue would shatter it's bonds, that noise alone being bone jarring as the creature released itself from it's bounds. As the beast loomed over them, ready to smash and tear anything that came near it's summoner apart. Arisu would step close to him and add her own protection to the matter, forming three seals that would elongate her hair further than it naturally was and envelop them both in a defensive formation. He'd reach out and touch the barrier from the inside, curious as to it's properties to find it as hard as steel. 'Interesting technique.' He would think as the Gedo's right hand was held over them, ensuring that if they moved the rain wouldn't impede them entirely. 'This beast is incredible, does it think on it's own or does Arisu control it?' He would think, trying to figure out if he could handle the creature himself. It was possible, but not something he'd want to try to do if he could avoid it.

As these thoughts went through his head, the beasts left arm would rear to smash into the ground at Hana's location. Calis would watch the Mizukage swiftly move away from the blow before his world was covered in upturned dust and the shaking ground of an earthquake around them. Calis would cover his mouth and nose with his hand, ensuring the dust wouldn't send him into a coughing fit as he watched it all settle. There was no point in using a jutsu for this, none of them were in a particular hurry he thought and he figured it would be a waste if the stuff was clearing up anyway. He had almost began to put his mind back to the task of figuring out how to handle Hana when his chakra reserves were as low as they were when he voice called out to stop the fight.

The cloud would open and sun light would begin to stream down from between the breaks from the clouds. Hana would approach them, no combat tension about her as she moved, showing that the fight was over. When she reached them she proceed to promote them on the spot, telling them anyone from HR could answer any questions and to celebrate for a week. Calis gave a broad smile toward the woman, giving a nod before saluting respectfully. It seemed like the thing to do when your leader promoted you. "Thank you, Hana." He would say, not caring in the least that there was no 'pomp' to the promotion. He considered that stuff useless, and preferred things more direct if they could be done that way.

Once he'd performed all the expected formalities for any who might witness he would turn toward Arisu, a smile still upon his features. "It's been a pleasure working with you Arisu. I wish you well, and bid you good luck." He would say turning back to Hana. "Thank you again Hana, I promise to do you and my colleagues proud, I must bid you good day however, I need to eat, rest, and get back to my training if I'm going to cover the holes in my arsenal before they get exploited severely." He would say before bowing respectfully to both ladies and leaving, forgoing the usage of his usual cloud of sand. He had the chakra for it, but didn't want to run himself dangerously low if he could help it. 'Where to eat?' He would think as he left.

High Performance Genin Empty Re: High Performance Genin

Post by Arisu Sun Feb 16, 2020 10:51 am

The statue was about to move forward to swipe its arm when the call for time out rang out. The arm stopped mid swipe as Arisu's mental connection halted the statue. Hana seemed to be quite ready to call that one quits, a small smile broke through Arisu's normally blank expression. Her hair shield retracted as she cancelled the technique, and she released the statue back to whence it came, as the chains on its wrists reassembled and the statue dematerialized.

Hana approached them and immediately got to the point. There was no doubt that the two of them were above Genin level, and so a promotion was indeed in order. Hana was quick to get to the point, not one to mince words apparently. That was fine, Arisu wasn't really much of a talker herself. She didn't really care about the promotion, it was all about gaining more freedoms and all that sort of stuff.

Giving a slight bow, Arisu turned to Calis and affirmed her reciprocation. "I agree. It's been a pleasure. We make a good team. I'm sure we'll work together again at some point."

Her Rinnegan deactivated, her normal blue eye returning to her. "Thank you for the test Lady Mizukage." If there was nothing further, Arisu would take her leave.

Hana sighed. It was good to let loose every so often to remind her that she was still fairly powerful. Being cooped up inside an office for most of one's day and debating political matters made her forget she was Jounin-level kunoichi. When the two Chuunin finished their last goodbyes Hana was the next to go. She'd leave the training area and head straight back home. She needed a bath and some cheap food.
