Description: An assassin has been rumoured to be in the darkest parts of the forest. She’s a tall woman, who wears a rabbit mask and utilizes throwing axes with deadly efficiency. When she’s near you can hear a haunting lullaby being sung throughout the trees without a point of reference. Survive the assassin, and eliminate her.
Payment: 25,000
Requirements: C-Class or 2 D-Class.
The axe almost clipped her.
This was not what Akari had expected when she took the mission to take out an assassin that was plaguing this part of the forest. She had expected a knife in the dark, poison using, dark clothes wearing individual who was fast, dextrous, and smart. Not some overly tall and muscular chick wearing a fucking rabbit mask and singing a lullaby. The worst part is that due to how the sound carried in the forest the lullaby sounded like it was coming from everywhere. She could get a good idea of how far away she was based on the volume sure. However she also seemed to be unnaturally good at throwing those axes of hers too.
It was a royal pain in the ass.
As she considered that her instincts forms an ice cold pit in her stomach and she didn’t hesitate, she dropped her head down and an axe impacted the tree she thought she’d been hiding behind with a heavy sounding ‘thunk’. Akari had had just about enough of this mess now. With an annoyed grimace her sharingan would blaze to life as the assassin threw another axe. This time Akari avoided it with minimal effort, just moving her body enough to cause the axe to sail by harmlessly. Then she would be on the woman, who’d been circling the area while singing about twenty meters away. Her sword would flash from her sheathe at her side and within an instant the murderers throat would be cut, and her now cooling corpse falling to the earth in a haphazard heap. That was that then, she was going home.
