She didn’t have much time, they had gotten word in the village that three missing shinobi of at least B class power had slipped into the forests and were immediately lost. Such individuals could easily cause problems for the populace of the Land of Fire if they weren’t taken care immediately and with lethal force. Akari had been dispatched to take care of the foes and she traveled swiftly through the forests, Sharingan long since having blazed into existence in order to track down her foes by seeing any potential movement or trail that they might have left in their wake through the forest. Her hand was constantly on the hilt of her sword, ready to draw it at a moments notice so that she could defend herself or attack an enemy.
Her eyes managed to see the trip wire, although she wasn’t sure she could’ve normally. It was set up viciously well and she had almost missed it even with her Sharingan. She managed to change her moment into a hop over it just in time as three people came out of the surrounding trees, intent of murder in their movements. Although this would prove to be a fairly bad idea for one of them. Using her Eye of Insight she was able to predict the movements of the enemies and now that she had seen the tripwire she knew to look for the traps. She could see the well placed kunai and shuriken launchers and also saw that one of the missing nin would be in the path of some of them in seconds. So she swiped her sword out and cut the wire she’d just avoided and watched as the man was peppered with kunai and shuriken, his cries echoing out as he fell to the ground, limp and unmoving. The next one would meet her eyes and suddenly she’d have an ally in this fight, even if it was against his will. The third would die swiftly to the sudden betrayal of her ally.
Then Akari simply slit the throat of the final intruder and let his cooling corpse fall upon the ground, the three enemies defeated and her home protected. She would proceed to leave, returning home to get some rest, or maybe pick up another mission.
