Rank Information, Duties and Salaries

Genin: Must remain within village walls at all times except when under supervision of a Chuunin or higher squad leader. In emergency situations this may be waived. Genin are to report crime and/or suspicious activity to active duty Chuunin or higher Shinobi and are encouraged not to approach any potentially hazardous situations. The safety of a Genin should be their top priority.

Chuunin: Chuunin have access to Kumogakure's Standard Issue Flak Jackets (SIF) and are encouraged to wear this as part of their daily uniform. This is a leather vest insulated with woven fabric to act as armor (C-grade quality.) Chuunin have permission to enforce law and detain suspected personnel as part of their duty. This would result in a 10,000 ryo bonus for each cited/fined person. A 25,000 ryo bonus would be rewarded for a detained player.

A Chuunin may choose to leave the village, whether it be for vacation or personal activities. They may leave the village if they have approved time off. Chuunin accumulate two weeks of time every month following standard activity. Standard Activity is defined by completing at least one mission a month, up to two missions. If a Chuunin exceeds two missions in a month they are considered High Activity Chuunin. This grants them an additional two weeks of vacation time, with an additional two weeks gained every two missions after their third mission for that month.

Chuunin, at max, may accumulate a total of three months of vacation time.

Jounin: Jounin are granted access to a single Village Exclusive of their choice, unless denied by Jounin Commander or Raikage. Jounin may also assign missions and change objectives on assigned missions at will.

Please note: Any mission assigned is under your responsibility. The outcome of the mission will be reflected under your name, and any severely negative outcome will have negative consequences.

Jounin who wish to take on Genin disciples must first speak to either the Mizukage, Jounin Commander, or Head Strategist. Accepting students naturally incurs an increased salary followed by doubled vacation time accumulation. This means naturally they develop one month of vacation time each month. Training sessions are considered missions in terms of activity.

Jounin, at max, may accumulate four months of vacation time.

ANBU: ANBU have full access to Kumo's Exclusive Armory and well as Kumo's Chemist. They are entitled to another Kumo Exclusive unless denied by the Raikage or Jounin Commander. Further accommodations may be granted as requested.

ANBU, at max, may accumulate four months of vacation time.

ANBU Captain: Captains are granted full access to Kumo's Village Exclusive library unless denied by the Raikage.

ANBU Captain, at max, may accumulate six months of vacation time.

Chuunin: 15,000 ryo - 25,000 ryo

TokuJo: 25,000 ryo - 35,000 ryo

ANBU Captain: 50,000 ryo - 100,000 ryo

Jounin Commander/Raikage: 100,000 ryo - 150,000 ryo

Note: This is your base pay which is dependent on your activity. Those that don't work don't get. If you aren't active you won't be paid period, and if you're only mildly active you'll receive the lower end of the scale while those who are very active will get the higher end.

Everyone is eligible for bonus depending on their mission activity for the month. Remember that completed missions MUST be posted At the Mission Report Desk HERE to fully count.


Aside from their regular duties, Shinobi may take up additional roles in their village such as accounting, secretary, or even serving as a major Administrative Head. Regardless of their path these supplementary jobs are paid by the village and added to their current rank pay.

Staff: Staff members generally do measly tasks the Raikage simply cannot bother doing themselves, such as sustaining the village budget, writing and delivering messages, updating protocol, book keeping inventory of the armory, and general clergy to make the Raikage's life easier. Whatever the task, these generally have light responsibility and are done within the Raikage Complex.

Administration: People of the Administration generally have a specialized role which involves having a major impact to the village's functionality. Head Strategist, Head Medic, an Ambassador, or any other important supplementary role that the Raikage deems important. These people are paid a greater deal and as a result leaves no room for error. These tasks can occur within the village or outside.


Staff: 10,000 ryo - 25,000 ryo

Administration: 25,000 ryo - 50,000 ryo

Note: This is fully dependant upon actually completing your assigned task. If you take that role on paper but don't do anything with it you won't get any extra pay.



Armory Inventory Manager: Every successful village has an armory, but a smart village has an Armory Inventory Manager. It is important to keep track of the armory's stock to ensure every ninja can receive their fair share of tools for the month so they can continue their day-to-day tasks without a hitch. Your job as manager is to ensure every ninja only takes out what is allowed per month/quarter. You will be tasked with keeping track of stock and notifying your superior when supplies run low.

Internal Delivery Carrier: Often times the Raikage is too busy or simply cannot be bothered receiving or sending deliveries themselves. This is where you come in. As an Internal Delivery Carrier you will be tasked with hand delivering messages to personnel within Kumogakure's walls and in some instances picking up items.

Chief of Medicine: Making sure patients get tended to, Kumogakure is stocked with the finest medical supply, and having organization during the undesirable tragedy of an invasion is vital for the benefit of the village. Chief of Medicine will be tasks with commanding the Medical Ninja when necessary, producing and maintaining a stock of medicine and poison, and ensuring all functions of the Hospital are maintained.

Headmaster: The Headmaster is responsible for ensuring all Kumogakure Jounin are meeting expectations when teaching their students. The Headmaster ensures this by occasionally training the Jounin Sensei the necessary technique for success to pass down onto their students. You will be tasked with creating practical technique which will be taught and implemented into Kumogakure's open technique list.

Chief Strategist Officer: Much like the Chief of Medicine, this position makes you responsible for Kirigakure's military personnel. By controlling the Scout and Counter Espionage squads you will make sure Kumogakure's lands and bordering nations are secure from threats as well as eliminating any small, potential threat which may wander within the Lightning Nation's borders. It is your responsibility to additionally gather intel when it presents itself and notifying your superior.
