Time was of the essence. Simple put, Ei Kanagawa was not strong enough to be the Kazekage. That being, she wasn't strong enough to be the sole pillar that supported the village. Normally that wouldn't be necessary, but in these current times Sunagakure had little else to provide support. So she had to train, something she hadn’t done in years. Not since she was preparing for the Chunin Exams. Her ornate silk kimono, painted over by hand with blacks and reds and whites, was what she dressed herself in for this event. One of her favorites, and something that she would be easily recognizable in. The variety of pinned flowers and other hair ornaments she typically wore would be carefully arranged through her silky locks of black. It was her normal routine for when she had the time to prepare. Maybe she shouldn’t have been wearing something so fancy for the sweaty, hard work that training often was, but that was simply the sort of person that Ei Kanagawa was.
What she really needed to train was ninjutsu though. No matter what she would never really be the type to engage in close quarters taijutsu. Perhaps when some things with her puppetry situation were sorted out, but not until then. Absolutely not before then. She was so frail that she was lucky to get this far in the first place. The exclusive techniques that she had just acquired needed to all be trained, and while most of them she could pick up intuitively, there were a few that were so complex in nature that she would be forced to dedicate a significant amount of training time to them. For instance, the Fission Technique. She knew about it, having heard legends of the Iwagakure Kinjutsu that allowed you to split into perfect copies- Like a perfect shadow clone that split your chakra completely and perfectly. It could continue living even after the original died. She would focus, remembering the scroll she had memorized, and then she would get to work.
