Finally a task we're suited for.

The Mission:

Tadara had taken a day off without any mission notices and just taken the time to meditate and relax. Let his muscles ease up and read up on the newest medical journal to be published. For him this was how he entertained his days. A minimalist lifestyle outside of his studies. The improvement of ones knowledge was always beneficial. Still he found his interests drawn to other categories. Weapons...equipment...armor. It was dawning on him that his days in a cushioned and sanitary lab were gone. He was a soldier now even if he preferred a support role. The next morning was no exception to this thought process as another order slip was well...slipped under his door. He would open it and for once he felt like they were actually moving to his and Hitotsu's strengths. Thanks to him observing the young man with his doton scrolls in the library preparing a field for plant growth would be an extremely easy task. Well depending on the size of the field it would be harder on Hitotsu than Tadara. However with that said he would put on a pair of blue work jeans and boots before slipping into a white button up. He didn't actually intend to get dirty after all.

Now that he was a ninja, the mission slips seemed to appear underneath the door step every morning like clock work. He woke up dreary eyed, at the break of dawn, where he heard his family already churning in preparation for the day. He peered out the window and groaned as he rolled out of his bed and went through his routine. As he came outside, his father seemed to be pretty annoyed with him. His mother peered toward him and shook her head before moving closer to whisper.

"You need to start getting up earlier to check for your mission slip. Your father is angry that everyone is up before you," the mother lectured the son quietly as to help him. Hitotsu frowned and nodded in compliance. He knew that he was sleeping too late and it was something he had to do better. He grabbed the mission slip and headed outside--barely having enough time to grab his headband let alone eat breakfast. As he ran through the village, he took a look at the task that he had to do. He then looked at the other participant(s).

Tadara..

He rolled the mission slip and slid it into his satchel before he strapped his headband onto his forehead. He ran toward the farming district of the village. He looked at each of the addresses and eventually found the right one and that was when he spotted Tadara. He waved toward him and hopped the fence as he swiftly moved toward him.

Tadara would run into Hitotsu on the way and greet him. In the same dull and matter of fact way as always. His attention mostly on a weapons magazine in his hands as they walked. As they did though Tadara would explain that his bee's were good for pollinating the seeds for better crops. Faster and bigger crops. Unlike the mission before with the dogs Hitotsu would be taking the brunt of this one. His job was to use his earth Ninjutsu to dig out the small trenches and place the seeds before covering them up. Tadara would create bees to pollinate behind him as he went. What he didn't mention is he would have two bees flying overhead keeping an eye on their surroundings. They were doing something vital despite the mission rank and he didn't want any surprises. When they arrived Tadara would move to the house and introduce them before accepting some lemonade and sandwiches while Hitotsu got started. As Hitotsu worked Tadara would create about twenty bees to help spread pollen while he sat under a tree. Reading up on new weapons gaining infamy in the world. He didn't touch the sandwiches and left those for hitotsu though his bees enjoyed some lemonade. Once the chore was finished he would thank Hitotsu for his hard work and stick around for another hour spreading pollen before the mission was done. And he was on his way home as well.

Truth or not he figured that the two made a good duo. For this mission specifically, it seemed as though both of them would make the job extremely easy. He instantly came up with the eye of earth manipulation and it was confirmed by Tadara's thoughts. As for the pollination, he would have to leave that to the bee-ninja. He noticed the weapons magazine in his hand and he honed in on it for a brief moment before turning his attention toward the task-at-hand.

He focused upon his chakra. He would use the same version now as he did previously when building the fence. He performed a earth-style primary handseal which would help him imbue his chakra, after which he would slam his palm into the ground. It began slowly, as the chakra focused on a specific area which was oddly more difficult than effecting a large area as that was mostly volatile and required less accuracy. That being said, a line of disheveled rock stretched before him in a line. He performed this several times, and while he did that, Tadara's bees would get to work and do his part.

He would do this several times until the stretch of farmland was stacked with rows of dirt that was ready to be planted on and fertilized. At this point he was very tired, as the chakra consumption of the technique used so many times had him dragging across the floor by the end of it, or so he felt like he had to. He was completely drained and walked in a very fatigued fashion after doing all the work. His skin was pale and he was comically done for the day.

He waved to Tadara and groaned before walking home half-lidded. By the time he got to the house, he went straight to the bathroom to clean up before taking a nap. Another thing to make his father mad at him, but he was so tired he just gave in anyway.
