One handed Seals: Chika is able to perform one handed seals but suffers a tier drop in coordination to the hand that makes them.
Fast Tinkering: Chika has spent most of her life making, modifying, and messing with building things and plans. She may decrease the time required to craft an item by one rank, however as a result reduces her Coordination by one tier for the purposes of the craft, as she's rushing through the process.
Path of Re-Awakening
Accelerating Returns: Rest can have a compounding effect when one goes back to work. Returns that were was once diminishing now accelerate. The player receives 15% off on all experience related expenditures. This does not apply to total experience class-ups. This Perk cannot be used to discount the cost of other Perks.
In her usual form Chika has a bit of a creepy vibe due a combination of being being extremely thin and her pale complexion and the fact that she almost always seems to have one of her eyes concealed behind her long black bangs in an attempt to distract from the fact that despite being a Hyuga she still has normal pupils. She stands at 5' tall and is incredibly lightweight at only roughly 75 lbs.
She looks older then she really is, partly due to being a shape-sifting and partly because as a half-bread she matures faster then usual. Her snaggletooth fang is the only hint at her true inhuman nature as her true body is a palm size dark red coloured spider
History:
She was born as nothing more than a nameless spider among hundreds of siblings, the majority of which did not even make it past the first week. They were nothing more then the byproduct of an illicit affair between the leader of her little splinter of the Tsuchigumo brood, an entity she simply knows as Mother and a Patriarch of the Hyuga clan unaware they had even been born.
As fate would have it she had won the generic lottery getting the best of both worlds, a feature that allowed her to thrive unlike so many of her less lucky brothers and sisters. For the first few years all seemed well as she worked on spinning webs under Mother’s tender supervision but then one day it seemed like perhaps her luck had run out when the mad Hokage Tatsu-sama took power.
Reorganizing the Fire Country into the Nekoian Empire, Tatus-sama ordered the mass migration of the citizens of Konohagakure to a new capital. During the ensuing chaos The nameless Spider was left for dead and would have starved to death if not for the intervention of one Chikamatsu Momo Hyuuga, a man who just happened to have a fascination with spiders.
Perhaps it was nothing more than a passing whim, a random act of charity at first but upon discovering her human level intelligence he realized there was more to this Spider then first met the eye. Taking her under his wing Chikamatsu gave her her first name, Cerise the french word for cherry on account of her color in her spider form.
Chikamatsu quickly became like a surrogate father to Cerise and she even referred to him as Papa. Even though he was still quite young himself Chikamatsu raised Cerise with all the love and care she had never received under Mother. He taught her everything she knew about being human as well as passing on his skills to her both as a Puppeteer and as a fellow member of the Hyuga clan.
Mature for her age Cerise absorbed the knowledge Chikamatsu had to give her like a sponge and before long she began attending the ninja academy with his blessing as her guardian. For a time everything was going well until the First Shinobi World War began. As the fighting grew ever fiercer she began to worry, not so much that she too might be drafted for the call to battle but that one day her Papa would not return home.
It would not take long for her fears to come true. After the Nanadaime Hokage Nyguyen Uchiha led a failed assault on Iwa much of the blame seemed to fall unjustly on Chikamatsu’s head and he was soon branded a traitor and executed.
As a disgraced member of the military Chikamatsu’s funeral was a quiet affair attended only by the closest of family members such as his sister while the rest of the clan shunned the event not wanting to be associated with a sellout. A fact that rankled Cerise to no end since she firmly believes that someone who had given so much of himself to the clan in his life deserved more respect from them in death.
The cleverman being who he was had several back up plans in motion though including a failsafe scroll delivered to his adopted daughter just after she put the first flower on his grave. The missive trusted her with all of his custom techniques so that she would be able to protect Konohagakure in his place. Seeing this Cerise decided to inherit his resolve and legally renamed herself Chika in his honour.
Though she is physically weak Chika was recently able to graduate the academy early on account of the fact that she doesn’t need to use force to defeat an enemy when a simple tap will do. That and the fact that thanks to her amazing dexterity she can even demolish even the teachers when supplied with nothing more then one of the basic trainer puppets the school provides students with.
Personality:
As a Spider/Human hybrid Chika has a view of the world that might seem alien to the common layman. Calm mature and sharp-witted, she is rarely tricked or charmed by others. Rather she often does the tricking herself, being exceptionally good at bating her targets into reach using her frail appearance to lure them into a false sense of security.
She has a very pragmatic mindset and it is because of this pragmatism that she is able to easily forget matters that many would find concerning or even scarring. Even while her siblings were dying in droves around her, she dismissed the scenario as being typical of the laws of nature. Though that isn’t to say she’d be so quick to dismiss a grudge.
She often doesn’t speak much unless spoken to and even then prefers to use as few as possible to get her point across. To her words aren't actually all that hard, rather they are small. Words are like puny little boxes. They hide thoughts so she says less, giving the few words she does say so much more impact. While she doesn’t talk much she’s often privately thinking of others in either a happy go lucky or sarcastic manner.
Chika has a bit of a shy side to her, acting like a recluse she rarely shows her true face in public, preferring to wear the guise of one of her puppets instead. Because of this few know of her face and even fewer know of her true inhuman nature allowing her to weave webs of intrigue in service to the current Hokage Tengoku-sama with relative impunity.
While she resents Nyguyen and Satomi for their roles in Chikamatsu’s death she’s careful to maintain a mostly professional attitude around them beyond the occasional dirty look. Despite her feelings towards that pair she has nothing against the Uchiha clan in general and treats the other members as such she would anyone else in the village.
