Description: The blade of Ashes is a katana specifically designed to augment one’s fire release capabilities alongside an individual's Kenjutsu prowess. The blade length is 70 cm long and the hilt is 22 cm long. The blade itself is black with a purple and red reverse wave hardening line. It’s tsuba is in a distinctive octofoil shape with flower-like edges. The hilt is wrapped in black silk and the end caps of the hilt and sheath are golden. The sheath itself is black with red circles marked upon it. The circles themselves are divided into thirds.
The capabilities of the Blade of Ashes are specifically made to harness one's fire release chakra and to increase the users capabilities with their swordsmanship. To that end the blade, when wielded of course, will bequeath a -1 tier reduction in chakra cost to fire release techniques. This reduction will stack with other reductions for a maximum of up to -2 tiers in cost to a given technique. Furthermore Blade of Ashes gives the wielder the capability to utilize fire techniques without needing to perform hand seals. Provided the user is again, wielding the blade.
Of course thanks to the Midnight Ore encompassing it’s makeup when the Blade of Ashes interacts with any item it will interact as if the opposing item's hardness is 1 tier lower than normal.
Finally in regards to augmenting the user's Kenjutsu prowess the Blade of Ashes is masterfully crafted to give the user an advantage. The blade itself is surprisingly heavy, requiring at least C tier strength in order to wield it and B tier strength in order to do so with one hand. That said, the weight of this weapon will give an effective boost to the wielder's strength by 1 tier for any purpose that involves the blade. Be it offensive or defensive. That is not the only boost to the wielder's stats that this weapon gives to its owner however. As when the weapon was crafted steel release chakra was channeled into the weapon. This chakra reverberates back through the user to augment the user's constitution stat by 1 tier as well. Further increasing their capabilities.

In particular, the guard constitutes a thick, continuous bar perfectly right-angled to the blade, flat on all sides with a rectangular cross-section, but on each end being forked; recurved up and down like a cross moline.
Centrally along the front and back sides of the guard are rectangular grooves filled with a swirly sprig relief for detail. The groove on each side is broken in the middle where a rather large, blue cabochon is inset (topped by a smaller variant of itself); on each forked terminal of the guard, again on both sides, are more such stones of purple and green, this time in trios (from the outer to the inner ones decreasing in size). Otherwise, about 1/3 down each flat of the blade, centrally from the crossguard, are langets, edged the same as the crossarms.
The blade has a jet-black color, a mirror finish, and an extremely sharp edge. The temper is described as an "irregular double-clove pattern. In shape, the blade possesses a mild, gradual widening in profile until its top-third section, whence it tapers to a sharp point and, with its flat back, curves upward, with a distal taper toward the tip.
The capabilities of the Blade of Ashes are specifically made to harness one's fire release chakra and to increase the users capabilities with their swordsmanship. To that end the blade, when wielded with both hands, will bequeath a -1 tier reduction in chakra cost to fire release techniques. This reduction will stack with other reductions for a maximum of up to -2 tiers in cost to a given technique. Furthermore Blade of Ashes gives the wielder the capability to utilize fire techniques without needing to perform hand seals. Provided the user is again, wielding the blade with both hands upon the hilt.
Finally of course thanks to the Midnight Ore encompassing it’s makeup when the Blade of Ashes interacts with any item it will interact as if the opposing item's hardness is 1 tier lower than normal.

Description: Grand Thrust is the main purpose of the Steel Release chakra imbued within the weapon in question. As this enchant utilizes that steel release to build upon the blade and extend it at S rank speed. The length of this extension is dependent on how many charges the user uses in the activation. One charge will allow the blade to extend up to 2 meters. A cap of five charges can be utilized at any given time. The charges will only allow the blade to extend for one post. Once this has finished the extended length of the weapon will disappear in ash immediately.
