Appearance:
Kizmaru is five foot, eleven tall, brown skinned male weighing around two hundred, eleven pounds. His normal attire consists normally of a navy blue coat that's seemingly always open over a yellow button down shirt that's tucked into his pants. Sometimes, he wears a black tie to go with his formal attire. For his lower attire, he wears black pants and black ninja tabi. Some other traits he sports is a some scars he has om his face from his researching and testing things on his own body. Lastly, he has gills located at the lower part of his neck some where close to his shoulders.


History:
Kizmaru Hoshigaki started out in the Academy at a young age. He had initially wanted to become a doctor of some sort as he had always had a fascination of learning the medical arts as well as how to make, or break, the human body. Learning about basic medicine and going to a normal medical school wasn't enough for him so he figured the fastest way to getting as much knowledge as possible. Studying at the academy, he eventually became a full fledged genin but never pursued a shinobi life actively. Instead, he used it to try and get into more prestigious learning centers for the medical arts. Since he didn't really have too much of an interest in climbing ranks, he had neglected doing shinobi duties after being assigned to a squad until he was eventually dismissed from it when his original partners moved up in rank.

This was fine with him as he no longer felt any obligation to do anything related to shinobi duties and only did odd jobs to live a decent lifestyle, keeping himself from going hungry. Eventually, he had became a licensed practitioner of the medical arts and his life was going as intended. For many years, he had enjoyed his work and even delved into research to furthering the evolution of humanity. One day however, he had a job in order to oversee an important surgical operation all was going well but unknowingly to Kizmaru this important figure was also the target of an assassination plot made to look like an accident. When all was said and done, the assassination had taken place by an assassin posing as one of the doctors and all of the blame was placed on Kizmaru causing him to lose his medical license.

Afterwards, Kizmaru couldn't find work anywhere causing him to do the only path left available to him, which was working as a shinobi. If people thought it was his fault for a death that wasn't on his hands, he may as well just meet their expectations and start his shinobi life, even though it wasn't at his hands. Hopefully he could start over and at least live a comfortable life.

Personality:
Kizmaru Hoshigaki is a cautious young man that only speaks freely when he is comfortable around people he is familiar with. He doesn't go out of his way to socialize with other people unless its necessary or if somebody goes out of their way to speak to him first. Overall, Kizmaru's base personality is lukewarm, heavily influenced by the crowd he hangs out with at the time in order to gauge what is acceptable in whatever community he's in at the time. By himself however, he'd enjoy his alone time daydreaming rather than going out to seek comfort in numbers as he tends to dislike large unknown or unfamiliar groups. He will only select a few people he considers friends and primarily use people who are useful that has obvious ulterior motives.
