Background & Belligerents
The War in Heaven is a unique Theater of War that chronicles a dark conspiracy surrounding the technological wonder that is the Heavenly Emporium. Unlike other Theaters of War which contain discrete missions which can be taken in any order, this ToW will have its missions released on a rolling basis with the first being a standalone mission. Once completed, the rest will be released.
This Theater of War pits the allied shinobi forces of the world as well as the Heavenly Emporium's supporters and protectors against the sinister forces that seek to bring it down. This Theater of War thus evokes the imagery of Lucifer's attempt to bring down the throne of God and usurp it for himself.

Description: Lead Engineer and Kumogakure Chuunin Rini Nakamura has been murdered. The Emporium's bureaucrats wish to keep the matter secret and have dedicated a large contingent of their security force to solving the mystery. Even those of low rank who ordinarily would not be privy to such a mystery have been tapped to provide insight on niche subjects. It is vital that this mystery be solved lest the perpetrators continue to undermine the Emporium and its people.

Description: The Heavenly Emporium is being attacked by the Enlightened Society of Rebirth and Reordering! A distress signal has been sent out to and all available shinobi are to assist in its defense in whatever capacity is possible. Terrorists and Xeno-beasts are running rampant. Evacuate the civilians, fight off the enemies, and do whatever you can to liberate the city from this attack. This is a free-form mission with no explicit win or fail conditions. Feel free to roleplay what your character is doing during the attack and have fun!

This is a beast meant to destroy nations and it must be stopped.
