Gravity Matrix: Flashpoint

This behemoth of a device is located in the center of the Indaina Kujira's chin. It is a bulging piece of flesh that is responsible for the Indaina Kujira's gravity defying abilities. The matrix, however, is incomplete. While the Indaina Kujira can float and fly, its far slower than it ought to be. For all their genius, its creators failed to construct a central control mechanism capable of producing limitless zero-G. Fortunately, someone else was. The power that gives the Heavenly Emporium its ability to float has been coopted by the Society and assimilated into the Indaina Kujira's framework. The gravity natural bends and shifts attacks away from it, making it impossible to hit with a direct attack. Instead, one must infiltrate the matrix with a technique that defies the concept of unidirectionality.

Objective: Utilize a free-form manipulation technique or a small enough summon (Kikaichu beetles/bees) to infiltrate the matrix and stall the assimilation process.

It had already been a long day.

Katsumi had just gotten released from her three year imprisonment within that damn Jutsu, reunited with her long lost sister, and now this absolutely massive beast was attacking a place called the Heavenly Emporium. It had to be stopped, that was absolutely without a doubt, and that was why she had insisted that her sister, Kitsuke, not leave her behind when she had opted to go help. Already she had been here for some time, probing for weaknesses and taking out the little minions that the creature had sent to try to stop her, which were a convenient form of biomass and chakra both, and were doing a measure to help bring her back up to a healthy level of sustained after being literally starved for three years. It would certainly be helpful considering that the more satiated she was before she went back to the village, the better off she would be around the chakra dense ninjas that were there without the temptation from Rei. He may have sworn to only eat those that Katsumi said were alright to consume, but that did not mean that the instincts to do so were completely gone.

Besides, this thing that was attacking the Heavenly Emporium just needed to die. Pure and Simple.

According to the analysis that Rei had been doing based on what she was eating, the thing was trying to absorb some kind of Gravity Matrix in this thing’s chin. The sheer size of this creature was absolutely staggering, but she couldn’t stall and stare at anything; she had a job to do. Whatever this Gravity Matrix thing was, it was assimilating this Matrix and that would enable this creature to fly great distances at tremendous speeds, and would make it almost impossible to stop from getting to the one place on this planet that she truly cared about across the sea. She didn’t thing that Kirigakure would have anything that this creature could want, but on that same note, she didn’t know what it might want. If it was after population density rich environments where there was a lot of chakra, it absolutely could target Kiri and there wouldn’t be a damn thing she could do about it. So she had to focus, and do what she could.

And that meant getting inside this damn thing and stopping it from absorbing that Gravity Matrix one way or a god damn other. Dressed in her normal outfit, she was about as ready as she could be.

Kaida was excited that some crazy monster appeared and for the first time she would get to show her true strength to the world. No one had a clue at all how strong she was but after this they would certainly be scared or respect her power. She made her way toward the location and boy there was quite a mess as she was heading to a particular location given in a report, to take out the gravity machine it had meant this thing would drop like a rock. She would arrive to spot another woman, she smiled as she was sure she was part of Kiri as well. She would suddenly throw her strings out as she would grip various rocks and began to propel her toward the top of the beast. She was quickly making progress as her skills showed avoiding smaller rocks and narrowly sliding through various debris before she would launch above the best with her hand gripping its back and pulling her body forward landing next to the woman.

“Well well, if it isn't a friendly face, I assume you are after the same thing as myself, the name is Yuki Kaida and I will make sure you never forget it. What is your plan to get the gravity machine out of service? I have a way but it's gonna be a hell of a ride if you want to latch on to me, I am a little different from most shinobi and have some unique skills.”

Kaida would wait for her answer one thing was certain: Kaida had an aura of confidence about her and she had an easy way to take out this thing. She could either form ice and manipulate it freely or she could use her EFG. Either way it would be a simple task for her, this woman would just be there for the ride.

Katsumi watched as a woman landed next to her, which was yet another Kirigakure ninja. Was everyone who was dealing with this thing from her own village? This one however she didn’t recognize at all, but she would have to deal with all of that later. For the moment she was acting like she wanted to help, so that was what was important. She did log the name Yuki Kaida into her memory for later, but mentally chuckled at the fact that she said that she would never forget it. She had no idea just how true that was, since she literally had a Eidetic memory now and [i]couldn’t[i] forget anything anymore. The only time she didn’t know something was when she simply had never experienced it before, as her memories were crystal clear as far back as the first moment she had merged with Rei. The Pseudo-Bijuu was largely in charge of keeping those files nice and tidy inside her brain and pulling the information that was relevant at the time to the front of her focus as needed.

“Yea, that’s the plan. But it’s warping space around it… but you see those?” She pointed to where the Kaijuu was trying to contact the Gravity Matrix, which she could only surmise as it trying to absorb the thing straight out of the Heavenly Emporium. This thing, from what Rei was telling her, was the primary means of the Heavenly Emporium staying afloat, so they couldn’t let that happen. Even if the island was doomed to crash, it would do it a whole lot faster if that thing was removed from the infrastructure. “If we can manage it, I think we keep those tendril things off the Gravity Matrix itself, we will at least buy everyone else some time. If you can manage to do that, I’ll get inside the damn thing and root out anything that is already inside… I can fit in really weird spots, so won’t be an issue. Savvy?” She waited to see if Yuki agreed with the plan and if she did, prepared to launch. “As far as getting there, I got that covered.” She smiled confidently, just as much as Yuki had been earlier.

Kaida would smile she had many ways to deal with this pain, the ability to create an ocean and turn it into ice really helped. With that much ice, this stupid beast would be far too busy dealing with her to even prepare or deal with her new friend. Plus if needed she could assist in using her EGF to block those things trying to reach her friend.

"I am about to do something crazy but be prepared to be wet and maybe cold close after."

Kaida would take a deep breath as she would suddenly launch a massive amount of water from her mouth moving with massive speed toward the core area. Kaida would then use flash-freeze as the water would begin to instantly turn to ice. With it now ice she would begin to control and move the ice as she would begin to fill every hole it could attack from leaving a tunnel for her friend to travel through and reach the core. She would also release her EGF strings and would follow behind her friend in case she had to use the strings to deal with the gravity issues.

Stats and Jutsu:

Katsumi heard what she said and nodded, knowing that they didn't have a ton of time; the thing was already trying to drag the Gravity Matrix away from the area it was lodged in, and if it succeeded, the little time that was being bought would suddenly expire and the Heavenly Emporium would drop like a stone. Everyone on it, more than likely, would die. Katsumi then leaped towards the gravity matrix, but as she got near it, she could feel gravity begin to pull her in all sorts of directions, and her body was having a hard time trying to stay on target and balanced, and that was when a great idea struck her, and she changed her shape. Where Katsumi had been she was now a beach-ball-sized blob of bright blue slime that condensed itself into about the size of a bowling ball. Now, no matter what the G-Forces did to her body, she was going to make it.

It took some time, but eventually, she got close enough to the gravity matrix to expand a bit, and targetted the tendrils that were grabbing it specifically. She looked in awe at the water and ice combination that the Yuki used, even though she couldn't express it in this form, but then began to chew through all the tendrils and remove them from the Gravity Matrix. It was damaged, and likely to fail anyway, but damnit, it was holding strong. Whoever made this thing must have been very proud of its ability to hold strong in the face of such adversity. Once it was clean, she saw a large crack begin to form in the matrix and realized that their time was quickly expiring. Once it was clear of the tendrils trying to absorb it, she knew it was time to leave.

Leaping back towards Kaida, she transformed back once she was out of the debris field, except this time she had a large pair of bat-like blue wings on her back, enabling her to fly. "We gotta go!!! Grab on!!!" she said, reaching down to grab Kaida on the way out of the area. Then she would use her top speed to get them both out of there granted that the woman didn't refuse her help to evacuate.

The plan had gone perfectly, she was impressed by the way the girl could manipulate her body, she was different for sure but she was happy to have someone else here. If they tried to give her rank for this she would shove it off on this woman and claim she did it. If it was a treasure she would accept but still say this woman did everything. She had decided she didn't want any sort of higher rank it's best if she was seen as a mere genin by other nations and the nation. It would make what she desired happen a lot easier if she was underestimated.

When the woman told her to grab on she would with ease as she reacher her arm that would spring forth wapping around the girl's waist and pulling her in close as she would smile and the pair would fly off. She did wonder just had seen her power, thankfully she did not even go full force and only used things for the most part that her clan used.
