Beat Up The Delinquents! ( C-Rank Mission )

Blitz realized lately that some of the shops and local businesses have started to grow their own art styles on the side of their buildings and even some adopted the ritual in front where all who pass can see. The artwork itself was sloppy but it was clear to tell these weren’t the handwork of any of the owners; each shop was violated with its own art as the frustration was clearly heard, and seen coming from the people who worked in the district. People had enough time to disrupt those who worked hard and did not care that the world was a simple place. Either you learned a lesson or you had enough brains to avoid drama all together. Blitz sported his usual outfit: his blue and white kimono, his dark blue hair and eyes came in a matching set as his footwear was traditional wooden sandals. Upon his hip on this day he brought out his fathers sword, an old sword but one he took time to take care of and polish when he did not seek training or missions. Keeping it strong and durable was the least he could do in order for the sword to maintain its edge in battle. Picking up his feet he gave a light jog making his way backwards passing the market district and heading deeper into the village until he found himself almost at the heart of the village. Gazing around he looked for a certain building that needed what he was searching. The building was large but with a few looks around the area he could tell what he hunted for was basically the office of the Mizukage.

Simply lost, he turned around before seeing a poster board embedded into the earth; this only piqued his curiosity for a mere second before drawing him to see what the numerous papers pinned upon contained. As he grew closer it became obvious to him this was his destination: a building with wide open doors was behind this board. Simply reading each paper from bandits to sailors he came to a stop on one that filled in the pieces he needed. Ripping off the paper and walking inside the building he had a little line in front of him only lasting a couple of minutes but it seemed everyone was there for the same reason to take on missions. Other shinobi with the marking of the village upon their headbands how they talked and laughed with each was only a distraction from the fears they might face on the missions they take. As it took a little bit of time he finally made his way to the front counter and gently placed the paper down onto the desk. It was a male behind the counter who received the paper and began to read it to himself, a little elderly but he was there to get the job done. In his proficiency of marking and stamping out the paperwork before giving the okay on letting Blitz go out on this mission it seemed he had something to say to the shinobi.

“Never seen you around here before. Well if you’re here to help the people keep their shops out of the radar of these brats, more power to you. I know a lot of those owners down there and I know they don’t appreciate their hard work getting destroyed. Not saying you can’t handle yourself out there but it might be smart to bring someone with you no way one or two guys are behind this it’s too many buildings to cover. But that’s it, don't let this old man stop you anymore.”

Blitz smiled for a second to himself before waving off the old timer behind the desk as it seemed that was his way of receiving good luck from the stranger he accepted the challenge of how many people would be coming. Two to four didn’t matter, let alone six to ten he wanted something to do for the people who worked hard. He only lived in the district closest to the market, seeing the stores was a common thing for him before he walked out and enjoyed himself around the village. It didn't matter at this point. He had an itch to scratch and wanted to let loose on people who deserved to feel it as the right thing to do. It had been some time since he saw actual combat from his last mission, granted this was only his second mission ever he had hoped it would be as exciting as the first. Making his way out of the building he was greeted by the sun and all its light once more as it seemed he had time before the mission would start at nightfall. Planning was all he had to do and probably eating some food nothing else was of concern to him at this moment before making his way out towards the poster board of missions again forcing himself to remember this where the administration office was held.

“Mmm..”

Kami stood in her shower, cleaning herself up, washing her hair and making sure she was all clean. It felt nice to take care of herself after a long few days so she enjoyed the water running on her skin. After a while, she stepped outside, dried herself off and got dressed for the day. Grabbing her pouch and putting it in her hip, she made sure she grabbed anything before heading out for the day. Once she stepped out, Kami glared up at the sky, covering the sun with her hand, seeing as how nice it was out. She had bought a few things the other day from the market, now wanting to go in a mission. It had been a weird few days since really coming outside. She was usually to herself, not wanting the attention of others. Though she was bored at home. Making her way down the streets of Kirigakure, she noted the amount of graffiti on the walls, not particularly saying they were good but it wasn’t any of her business. Though it was probably something to be done and so she’d look at it when she got to the office. Compared to her soon to be teammate, she got there fairly quickly, walking at a decent pace.

Kami stopped by the poster board and looked through the missions. Sure enough, graffiti was one of them. She took a slip and headed inside. As she went in, a man came out, her time slowing down for her. She took a glance up at him, her hair flowing behind her as she walked. She blinked slowly, her eyes relaxed with no emotion on her face. It’s almost like she had a resting bitch face the whole time. She closed her eyes as she looked straight ahead again, time resuming back to normal as she made eye contact. She had a bit of attitude in her step. Walking up to the man and sliding the paper to him, she stood there waiting for his response. As he explained the same scenario to her as he did to the previous man, she waved her hand and closed her eyes. “I get the gist, now can you hurry up.” The old man looked at her and slid her the paper, mutter some things under his breath before helping the next person. “Oh and your teammate just walked out. He has blue hair, you shouldn’t miss him.” Kami waved the man off and stepped outside, next to her teammate. She looked up to the man and back straight ahead, finally looking back at him once more. “Huh. The geezer wasn’t lying.” Kami gave him a slow blink before walking off. “Cmon, let’s go before they do something else.”

Turning around he seemed to have caught the attention of another person who seemed to have her own piece of paperwork done. Giving it a quick glance it was only a surprise to him that he had someone already assigned to the same mission. Be it luck or a chance the six foot tall male sighed and took one good look at the one who seemed to be staring. It wasn't the first stare down he had with her as moments ago it was the same one who passed him on the way out of the building. He was only wasting time till the sun went down but this shinobi seemed to be one he had never seen before in or around the village. It seemed like the perfect time to meet someone new. Studying her for a brief moment from her hair to her clothing she was different from the others. Something about her was completely different from that of shinobi in this village gazing for a moment longer. It seemed he had figured it out she didn’t give off any indication of bloodlust but something else rested in her soul. It felt warm but from the outside she shielded herself enough not to warrant anything worth looking into. Blitz on the other hand could only give into the thought of knowing who he was teaming up with especially since it's someone who he also had never experienced battle or even had a conversation with. As she began to make her way Blitz quickly passed her and stood in her way stopping her movements. This was someone new to him but he wondered why this type of person was in such a village. If she was in the village looking for intel or simply trying to fit in the crowd he could only make sure he put his life into the hands of someone trustworthy.

“You don’t seem like one of us. So the question is who really are you.. Are you from these lands, if not where do you come from?”

He didn’t mind if he poked around but he needed to know that this person who was with him wasn’t up to anything that would disrupt this mission or anything on the side to keep him distracted from her real purpose. Placing his hand in his kimono he removed and revealed to her the headband of the village with the embedded symbol upon it the headband had seen its fair share of battles but now it was going to go through even more with no hopes of stopping till the carrier died or retired. After revealing this he simply wrapped it around his neck not too tight or loose with enough space to keep it hanging around his neck as the insignia stood out for all to see. The only pride he had was the one that came with the headband gazing once more at the women he tried to find her own protector but to no avail nothing was seen as it would be easier for him to simply ask to see it. Or better for her to place it on herself so he could get an analysis on this particular shinobi.

“Mind if you show me your headband? I don’t know much about the outside world but I do know when someone sticks out in the village.”

Kami furrowed a brow slightly, looking at the man that was once behind her, now in front. “Names aren’t important. Just know I’m from here.” She pulled her headband out from her pouch and placed it on her thigh. The headband was a red band with the villages symbol on it. She wore a black turtleneck shirt that was sleeveless with some black shorts that were waist high. Under those shorts were fishnets and the usual ninja shoes. “Or would you prefer it on my head?” She gave a cocky attitude before placing a hand on her waist. Kami already didn’t like him because he was asking too many questions. It irritated her and she just wanted to move on with the mission.

Looking him up and down, the man wasn’t that all bad looking. He did have weird hair but she herself had white hair. She looked him up and down, noting every detail on him. “If names are so important, tell me yours first.” Kami offered to share her name if only he said his first. She began waving her hand at her face while using her other hand to get a hair tie out. Putting her hair in a pony tail, her hairs length raised from her waist to the middle of her back. Her curtain bangs remained in shape, maybe a bit messy. It was too hot to really keep her hair down. “I’m waiting..”

It had seemed his judgment about the one in front of him was off, maybe it was mind growing weak from the lack of battle he engaged but it didn’t matter now having a better look at the women it seemed he was stuck with her. From her pulling out the headband with the village symbol upon it to her asking if she should put it on her forehead none of that mattered anymore his thoughts of the outside world vanished. Turning his back on the woman as the sunlight peered down upon the village he could only wonder what he was he thinking assuming someone from the outside would be in this village. Especially someone like that taking missions from within the border such thinking would leave him lost in this world. It seemed best to just focus on the task at hand. Walking towards his objective it seemed she decided to reply wondering about his name now it seemed if it was his turn to answer some questions well it was up to him. He continued to walk slowly minding his business about a couple minutes passed by before he decided to give his response to the kunoichi giving her once more a quick glance making sure it was the correct reply to give.

“Blitz. That’s my name.”

His mind wandered the possibilities of seeing the outside world but as it was he needed to complete his own training and even more before preparing to see the outside. Remaining quiet for a little longer he didn’t need to ask any more questions there was nothing else to know it was best for him to remain on the mission at hand. With the only hopes of them running into more than a handful of villagers it would be worth the training and probably worth his time. Taking a deep breath as he cleared his mind for a mere second he could only recall this was for the people he wanted to help that deserved their property to be untouched especially if the acts are coming from within the village. As a village the people should always be one with each other. That's how he thought of it. Instead of simple minded killing and scare tactics he saw the village as his second chance of gaining something he lost long ago. With this in mind he continued forward without a doubt waiting to give out justice to the people who deserved it the most on this night.

“Mmm.”

Kami looked up to the man, now introduced himself as Blitz. "Blitz... Odd." She looked around the village, noticing a bunch of pauses in between their conversations. Maybe this would've been a good thing. "Kami... Kami Yurei." She spoke finally on her name. Kami didn't like introducing herself but if it had to be done, it would be done. "Stop yapping and let's go." She finally started walking in a general directions, looking for any mischievous kids who needed a good scaring. If things went well, they'd be scarred for life.

Blitz was an odd one that's for sure. Kami didn't necessarily dislike or like him though. She continued walking along the streets, following the graffiti to see where it might lead. It could give them a clue as to which was recent or where it possibly leads to. Maybe the kids itself or something else.

Her red eyes only reminded him of another person he met the other day. It did remind him of the other who caused fear onto the streets but he had no way of knowing it was that he was talking too. Time passed between the two but in time she also gave into the conversation revealing her first and last name to him earlier she thought his name was odd itself but her name was simply connected to a family tree he never had a chance of learning about while in the village. With the fierce red look into her eyes it was simple for him to tell she was somehow connected to the masked fiend. His eyes were just as red compared to both of them. This one seemed interested in a little bit more of the conversation but the bloodlust did seem to rise up a little the more the sun began to set. In a way they were connected be it family members or just simple clansmen in a way it seemed fate had brought these two to his attention. Could it have been the coincidence that now more and more shinobi were appearing or was it time just slipping passed him after his coma. As the two followed each of the marked buildings with the weird designs painted upon them the street lights began to turn on as the sun itself slowly began to mix with the horizon then soon gone. Leaving the moon to light the night sky with the millions of stars that now shined brighter since the sun now vanished it all made sense as the inns and dinner lights began to emit brighter on the street and the night time life started to grow busier and busier.

From the corner of his eyes it seemed there were some shops untouched by anyone at the back of the market district. It would be a perfect trap to set since these buildings were untouched most likely that would be the next attack. Blitz made his way through the streets passing people before leaping on top of one of the buildings himself hiding himself in darkness. Hopefully his comrade followed him or had her own ways of executing this mission out stealth wasn’t needed but he did make use of it. Noting it was only civilians they were going after there was a total of four buildings unmarked by the attackers each building or one of them could be used for such shameless designs. Remaining hidden from the view of anyone down below him he stood silent and calm waiting for anyone or everyone to show up to do their way with these buildings as time passed roughly twenty to thirty minutes a group of ten men showed themselves. Each with buckets of paint and brushes to these civilians didn’t pose any real threat only to the people who were afraid to fight back. Making his way to the edge of the rooftop building barely putting himself in the light he got a better look at these guys who were preparing to deface the walls of these last four buildings. Crossing his arms Blitz looks down upon them in disgust before speaking out loud enough for them to hear that he wasn’t there to play any games let alone let any of them walk out of here without learning a proper lesson.

“Wind Release! Gale Palm!”

Blitz clapped together both of hands as he opened up his palms behind him ejecting him off the rooftop at B-tier speed aiming him downwards towards the group of men as he came down with projectile-like speed. He knew none of them were trained enough to counter such a move at speeds they never encountered from other civilians. Using his head as the weapon smashing into one of the perpetrators aiming straight for his face smashing his head against his in a violent attack. Knocking out the man in one hit was also leaving his face a bloody mess from such a quick attack this attack shook the remaining nine standing but Blitz could only chuckle to himself hoping none of them would run as he began to stand back upon his two feet looking down upon the first one to be defeated. His chuckle only grew louder and it slowly turned into a laugh his blood was moving he was ready for more the look upon him was nothing short but violence.

“Let’s continue!?”

Kami continued following the buildings, the sky getting darker as they walked. The moonlight shined bright, beams hitting her eyes, making almost a glowing effect. She stood out like a sore thumb with her white hair and pale complexion. Her eyes flashed a quick red before her chakra calming down, becoming almost invisible. She had suppressed her chakra for the time being. As Blitz went up and hid on a roof, Kami took the time to use 5 Fuuin seals, writing forbidden on each one. She placed them in discreet places, only one that was perceptive would find. Each tag had a copy if one was taken off and they would be part of the fight if they were to be dumb enough to try and take one off. Kami placed her hands together and touched the ground, connecting each jutsu with her chakra, creating a barrier that was big enough around the area they were in and enough to protect other citizens. As the barrier formed, once connected on all sides, the sphere flickered before it became invisible. She followed Blitz up to the roof and waited by him.


As group of 10 came up, each with their own buckets and paint brushes, Kami glared at them, allowing them to step into the barrier. The air felt dense inside, filled with both Blitz’ and Kami’s auras. As the last one came in, Kami closed the barrier off to them, preventing any sort of escape. If they were to try and break out they would only hurt themselves. As the men came in, blitz made his way down, attacking one of the last few men that came in. Kami rolled her eyes and stood up on the roof, her hair slightly blowing in the wind, looking down on the fight that had only just begun. Her eyes glowed red with her white hair in contrast, having one of her arms reach behind her and grab her Shuriken. “Blitz, you ruined play time.” She said with a mocking attitude. Kami looked down at the others, licking her lips with a small grin on her face. Kami raised an arm, holding her hand out, palm exposed, charging up electricity in her palm and letting loose. The lightning arrow shot out and caused multiple to form, landing around, hoping blitz would dodge. If he didn’t, it was his fault and Kami didn’t really care. The barrier helped protect the outside areas and only affect the inside. “Die.” Kami slid down the sides on the roof and jumped off, throwing her shuriken towards the gang, pushing a few into others, getting impaled slightly. With Blitz’ laugh and Kami’s smile, this duo was meant to be deadly. If you had seen them in the dark, one would probably only see blue and red eyes before they disappeared. Kami laughed with one, licking her lips one more. “Shall we?” Her voice was low yet seductive. Maybe blitz wasn’t bad after all.

Looking around it seemed he got himself in a nice situation knocking off one of the men but his partner seemed to have her own plans when it came to punishing the crooks. As he looked down upon the floor the blood stains upon multiple other people began to show at least two others were hit with projectiles down for the count. But it all seemed too good to be true gazing upon the ground the light above him grew brighter and brighter with a quick glance above him he watched as lighting made its way down. Raining on top of the group of crooks in a quick dart away from the group of men he watched as the lighting made its way taking out at least three more and crashing against the ground violently. Leaving embedded marks into the earth but also knocking out the civilians that came into contact with the jutsu. Gazing upon the battlefield of lighting he understood what it meant to have true power no one would understand the lust he had to gain in himself much more but watching these people suffer but fight back while they had the strength. He could see after he took out the first and she followed with her own attack the forces of the men who came tonight started to dwindle. The jutsu she casted out hit its mark hitting and knocking out three more people, a jutsu that seemed powerful but due to the fact this mission didn’t say these men needed to die he doubted she put enough power to kill anyone of them. With him only taking out one and her five it was only four left standing at this point to them these civilians were trapped in a box like mice to snakes their punishment was soon coming to a end but it had seem letting any of them go now would be to easy all of them were accomplices to this crime. They all knew that they were getting themselves into no need to show anyone mercy with this thought bouncing off his brain against the inside of his skull he only decided to make it quick for them.

He had no need to use his blade, only his hands would suffice in this outcome. The other picked the perfect moment to use her jutsu he even decided it was to take out the remaining in a way that would make this more enjoyable. Lifting up both his palms only to form one quick hand seal Blitz began his final move as mere seconds afterwards the male looked down towards the remaining enemies jaw open in response he began to produce a large sea of bubbly foam that began to lubricate the streets in front of him and slowly reaching out towards the civilians. In time wrapping around those who were already unconscious from the pain on the ground as it made their way to their feet covering the distance easily between them and the remaining four. Blitz quickly leapt onwards towards the rooftop once more for all to see the ground itself was now slippery for one that was not shinobi; they couldn’t even keep their balance on it due to the loss of traction. He doubted any shinobi that wasn’t his skill level could master it either but he had not a doubt for anyone above him this was his final move the four couldn’t run or move if they wanted the foam of sea was able to cover up to fifty meters. This was simply an enclosed space which made it easier for the foam to spread out and around slowly consuming where he stood making the whole floor hazardous to anyone not careful. Gazing once more at the group down below he only had one thing to say to the remaining four who stood as for the partner he had come along with on this mission.

“Water Release! Wild Bubble Wave… Send them home.”

Kami moved to the side, simply by turning her body, the shuriken making its way back and hitting the building they were in front of. Luckily, the building was sturdy enough so there wasn’t much damage. The shuriken stayed in place, until Kami grabbed it and tore it out of the wall and placing it on her back. Seeing Blitz use a jutsu to make them foam from the mouth, the electricity enhanced it, causing the lightning to disperse in a larger area. “Hmph..” Her eyes showed no enjoyment as they didn’t put much of a fight. While some of them foamed to the mouth, slipping and falling down as well, only a few remained from the group. “We’re not supposed to kill but I could make an exception if you don’t promise to stop tampering the walls.” While one foamed, the grabbed the arm of a man, letting him twirl on the suds, Kami reigning him in close and holding him by his face. Her fingers squished his cheeks while she used her other hand to pull a Kunai out, placing it next to his throat, pushing in just a little for some blood to trickle down. “You can also beg for mercy and we’ll let you go. On the conditions that you..” She pulled the kunai away and trailed the knife alongside the cheek of the man. “Apologize to every shop keep and civilian here… and you wash all your work away.” Kami placed the tip of the kunai on the nose of the man, booping him with it. “Is that understood? If not, you’ll just end up like your comrades here.” Her eyes glowed bright and he flipped him around showing him his comrades on the floor. “Now as for everyone else, I wouldn’t suggested trying anything against me. My comrade is on the roof and there is..” Her tone became caring, almost mocking the emotion. “A lot of water… we wouldn’t want you to get shocked now would we?” She made a fake pout before her face returning to normal as electricity formed in the palm of her hand. Kami glance up at Blitz, hoping he’d understand if anyone moved towards her, she’d shock them, dead or not. Just as she glanced up, a man came up behind here and she quickly performed a jutsu, shooting electricity towards him, knocking him back and unconscious. Kami glared at the rest, now pissed off. “That was just a warning shot.”

Gazing down it seemed the woman could handle herself knocking out one more person and now demanding that they take responsibility for their actions. One even assumed she was defenseless with her back being turned but yet he ended up realizing that this was not the case and received his very own ticket to pain. Blitz didn’t need to do anything but with only the remaining three standing it didn’t matter much at this point even if an apology was given they had to learn their lesson. Not like it mattered but they didn’t really require the three of them, only one the idea of dragging them through the streets and making them regret their mistake did sound pleasing. Regardless this matter was now handled she was doing her job and he was doing his but the paper didn’t fully require these people to apologize but their cries of regret would indeed fill the air. Dropping off from the top of the building Blitz quickly rushed down the last two hitting them each with the hilt of his sword aiming for the weak points along their body knocking each one down and injuring them. Giving them one look it seemed this mission was completed making them do anything else besides apologize would be a waste of time and effort but she did prove a valid point. They needed to apologize but at least the last one standing was in her clutches making him apologize bloodied and mangled would set a good example for anyone else trying to cause problems from within the village. Blitz glanced at the last one standing untouched and scared it was by luck that he didn’t end up receiving some type of punishment. Everyone else was finished laying on their back unconscious or waiting for the pain to subside with the one left standing he was still in good shape.

“Use him to carry out the message.”

Glancing for a quick moment then focusing on everyone else on the ground it had seemed no one else was getting up to defend themselves against these two yet the fight took a little bit of time. Dragging over each person pulling them to the side and awaiting anything else the fact they weren't expecting to see two shinobi push out and meet them halfway today was a day for them to remember. Gazing around he could hear the faint cries and moans from the injured group of men. It made sense they weren’t training like he was so there was no need for him to even lift another finger. Time passed eventually as Blitz detained the ten of the suspects awaiting for his partner to be done with the other idea that pounced in her mind of making the males apologies. Hopefully she took her words and brought them to life.

“Mmm..”

Kami glanced at Blitz then towards the last remaining guy, sighing and walking towards the guy. Scared and unarmed, Kami grabbed the man by his shirt and dragged him along with her towards the homes and shops of the village that they vandalized. Her gaze never shifting and her emotions never swaying, she remained stoic through this process. One by one, Kami threw the man to the stairs or the doors of the homes and shops, forcing him to knock on their doors. Each one opening their doors, angered, confused, or drunk, simply asking what they wanted. Kami raised a hand to the man each time he hesitated, always resulting in the man begging to be spared and apologizing to each one. Each person reacted different, some accepting, some still confused, and others gave the man a beating as well. A simple slap or a punch to the face. Kami looked towards Blitz as he followed behind, quite bored of this routine.

The sun began rising after going through the whole village, the man now beaten to a pull, eyes swollen and teeth missing. He sat on the step of a staircase whilst Kami crouched near him, tending to his wounds. “Have you learned your lesson?” She asked, each time being firm with bandages, making the man say ouch every now and then. She didn’t like this and quite frankly wanted to go home. Despite being a C rank mission, it seemed way too easy to just take down these delinquents. Maybe something was hiding amidst the shadows? Kami shrugged the feeling off and continued to wrap him up before sending him on his way with a slap in the back of his head. She was tired and definitely was ready for a good nights sleep. She rubbed her eyes for a good bit and yawned, while rubbing her face. Kami shook her head and looked to Blitz, smacking her lips after her yawn. “What now.”

Time passed as he followed her and the beaten man to the very end of their mission as he watched the male receive the justice that the people deserved, nothing else crossed his mind till the end of the mission. Watching each owner get what they wanted out of this man made more sense instead of dragging out a crowd full of destroyed civilians; this last one would be the one to communicate with the rest. Hopefully the beating from earlier and now would be enough to keep him down or at least thinking before doing this act once more next time it wouldn’t be as easy of a let off. Pacing through the streets he remained to himself only watching and waiting till this task was complete gazing around making sure anyone else didn’t come around in an attempt to free this man. But none came not this time or probably any other time after getting thrashed about by shinobi he doubted anyone who didn’t train in such work would try to lift a finger. If anyone did come at this point they could only say fighting was a waste of time for both sides as the results would end up the same, another beating, maybe a tiny fight would erupt but nothing would change the results. Nightlife was only filled with humiliating this man and everything that he and his group did with cheering and more drinking as the people seemed to have finally made peace in knowing that someone in the village came about to stop these people. Hopefully it was the last time but he doubted this was the case because he knew eventually someone would come around again to stir up trouble for the people when the shinobi weren’t looking. It was just when and where for the next meeting.

With the rising of the sun upon the horizon he ended up watching over the two while one took care of the damages done to the other it made him chuckle a little bit knowing this mission was handled. Nothing impressive happened upon this task but it was amusing to know that this new person he met handled the situation and promoted fear without spilling any unnecessary blood on her part. Gazing a little bit longer while she allowed him to get up with a quick smack behind his head hopefully to keep his brain thinking and moving on to a better lifestyle one could only hope this was the last time of these shenanigans. His eyes studying her as she yawned it was he figured she would sleep most of the day away after such a night even giving off a slight yawn himself. Everything was accomplished now it was time for the paperwork but he didn’t need to drag her around if she wasn’t in the mood to get it done placing her name on the paper was easy enough to ensure she got her proper payments when he returned back to the building. A whole day had passed, hopefully getting to the building before everyone else in line was good enough for a quick payment and paperwork.

“Now I go back to the building with your help. We kept the village streets peaceful for another night at least. Go rest, I'll be sure to put your name down so you can get what you are owed.”

Blitz lifted his left hand up to signal a goodbye and began to walk back into the district from where they came heading deeper into the village once more. Attempting to beat the line and anyone else there at the building before it became too busy he quickly leapt from the ground onto the top of the rooftops. Avoiding the morning foot traffic of workers and others who are now coming home pacing himself as the morning was still young and the warmth of the sun continued to harass him. It was best to finish this fast and get some rest of his own before he participated in any more missions around the village but it was nice to know that the other shinobi who resided in the village did their part to ensure protection. He even had a hope that he would meet again with her or even someone else out here in the village but only time would tell who would cross his path again.

Kami looked to Blitz before walking to him. She gave him a quick nod, confirming that the mission was over and she was allowed to go home. She turned around, ready to leave but as she took her first step, her stomach began to grumble. She was pretty hungry and going to bed right after a mission wasn’t an ideal course of action. She turned back around, seeing Blitz raise a hand and walked away towards the office. Kami pondered for a moment, stuck in her tracks. With a few quick blinks, she ran up and next to Blitz, looking away. “Let me treat you to a meal for your hard work.” She said shyly before continuing at the same pace as him. This was weird but.. maybe Kami enjoyed his company. She walked down with him, stretching her arms and back real big, walking down the street as the sun beamed on their faces. A mission was complete and bellies needed to be filled.
