Chance Encounters (Hanabi)

Hanabi laid there, letting Peragus do his work, occasionally wincing as he applied the ointment on her spine, causing her to squint and grit her teeth. Other than that one spot, it was a breeze to have him apply it. She laid there, thinking about how gentle he was, making her hold onto the shirt more, almost like holding it like a hug. Her eyes lowered and she looked to the side, feeling heavy as a whirl of emotions came across her. This was something she had never experienced.

Ba dump.. Ba dump..

Her heart started to beat harder with every beat, remaining the same consistency and speed at an average heart rate. Once again. ba dump… ba dump… Her mind began to wonder, thinking about earlier, a small blush forming across her face. Her eyes opened up a little bit more as Peragus stopped and knelt next to her. Facing the opposite way, she turned her head, not realizing Peragus was so close. Again. ba dump.. ba dump.. Though this time slightly faster. Hanabi looked into his eyes, warmth and cold meeting once more, hearing him say how she knew how he felt. Her eyes trailed his face, her eyelashes moving  with her eyes, up and down. From his hair to his eyebrows, then eyes.. Nose was next and then lips. Her face grew red a bit more as she trailed back up to his eyes. Ba dump. Ba dump. Ba dump. Then the world fell silent and for once in Hanabi’s life, her mind went quiet as Peragus spoke his words. Having a safe place, being promised to not be hurt while here, no matter the weather or situation, she had a home within the Hyuuga clan.. Despite what may be looked down on, Peragus didn’t care about it and that made Hanabi look at him, mouth slightly open, tears beginning to fall down her face in streams. She sat up, Peragus’ shirt falling down to cover her back again and began sobbing, wiping her eyes to no avail, the tears coming down more. This wasn’t like her night with Taco and Kanara where she had got emotional. She wasn’t her twenty year old self and for the first time in a long time, she let herself go, weeping her woes. She was merely a child that grew up to fast and had to act on her own. Hanabi continued to wipe her tears away before calming down after a good 6 minutes after that.


Hanabi hicc’d and coughed after the crying fit and apologized to Peragus while stuttering her words. Her body felt lighter than a feather and this weird sensation went throughout her body. Almost like it was warm and it was a feeling that originated from her chest, in her heart. It scattered throughout, almost like pulsing. After wiping her tears fully away, she blinked whatever tears dry from within her eyes and looked at Peragus once more, her subtly swollen eyes staring at him, shimmering with a newfound emotion. She looked him up and down once again like before, that same pulsing feeling happening once again. Hanabi leaned in slowly, getting closer and closer.

Her reaction to his words had been what he had expected. When someone who has never had a home, never felt wanted. Never felt as if she had a safe place was for the first time told she did have one, and was wanted. It was hard to not break down into a mess. He would move to pull her close as she sat up, hugging her to him. Her tears fell down her cheeks and he would wipe them away with his sleeve, letting her let it all out. His blue eyes would look down upon her sadly, a matching smile upon his features as he let her let go fully. When she finished she would hiccup and apologize to him. A chuckle escaped his lips as she did and he waved it away. “There’s nothing to be sorry for Hanabi..Absolutely nothing.” He would say, and it was the simple, honest truth.

After a few moments she would look to him, her golden eyes meeting his blue ones. Only a different emotion would cross between them. He could see the pools of amber shimmering at him with affection. With a bone deep desire to be close. Her eyes looked him up and down again, this time giving a different feeling. When she met his eyes again she would begin to lean in. He would too, his eyes mesmerized as he felt himself returning the affection she felt. His head tilted as hers did and then…their lips met, and they kissed.

He tasted the ramen they had eaten on her breath. That was fine, his probably tasted the same. It didn’t matter, what did matter was that he did not want to stop. He pressed into her, and pulled her to him. His hands moving for her waist. He just wanted her closer, wanted to continue to feel the sensation of their lips together. Wanted…wanted..and then want turned to need. Eventually he would break the kiss, his lips swollen and red from the act and his breath coming fast. Faster than it should be. His bright, ice blue eyes looked for hers before he spoke. They were dilated, although he wouldn’t be able to know that. Hanabi... He would say simply, the word the only thing on his mind at that moment.

From the simple hug, she felt cared for and appreciated, listened to as well. His kiss however, held on to her as well as his hands when they went around her waist. As he kissed her back, she closed her eyes immediately, eyes rolling upward, her eyebrows turning as well. When Peragus pulled her close, she placed her hands on his faces, holding it gently while his hands felt upon her. A subtle moan came from her when he touched her, continuing their firm kiss. Kissing. Is this what it’s like? Tasting everything about your partner, even from before this moment? She tasted his breath that had the notes of ramen still there as well, making hanabi confused but not mind it. This was her very first kiss after all. She would ask questions later and simply follow the act of Peragus. However… Her mind took a turn and somewhat put it in Drive. As they pulled away, she opened her eyes, looking at Peragus’ dilated eyes and his labored breathing. Hanabi’s breathing was labored and breathy as well, her eyes felt heavy from this want that was now a need and her face was completely red.


As Peragus said her name, she looked him up and down, before deciding to whether take on this drive or to simply back out. “P-Peragus…” She looked down again and shook her head. Maybe she wasn’t ready for something she couldn’t come back from. Hanabi glanced at him once more before getting closer and grabbing his hand. She placed his hand slowly on her stomach to soon wrap around her waist, making him grip onto it just like before. She leaned into him, placing her lips on his once more, kissing him with more confidence. She wanted this, she knew this. She was too scared but she took the initiative with her newfound confidence. Keeping that kiss, she ran her hands slowly along his back, trailing upward and into his hair. Subtle moans came from her mouth as she kept her lips to him. “Mmf” Hanabi took note of his body, making sure to keep track of it and especially any… changes,, which have formed. Hanabi pulled back the kiss, this time slowly and glanced into his eyes once more. “M-maybe we should t-take this somewhere m-more comfortable…” Hanabi looked away slowly, not sure how to lead the rest of the way.

She said his name once he had said hers and she would look down again before shaking her head. After a moment she would grab his hand and place it on her stomach then wrap it around her waist as he had before and he held her to him gladly. She leaned into him when he did and kissed him once more. He returned it, fervently, he could feel her being more confident with the decision and he could feel his own personal desire mounting. Her hands moved up his back until it reached his hair and the moans she was releasing into the kiss were sending him quickly over an edge.

He felt the change in his body. Hell so would she with how pressed together they were. Eventually the kiss would breah, his breath quickened again and their eyes would meet. He would hear her words and his body reacted to them like a thrumming powerline. The hairs on his neck and arms stood up. His heart rate skyrocketed and every single instinctive inclination screamed ‘Hell yes!’. He had to fight that, had to wrestle it under control before he spoke. He took in a deep breath before moving to turn her back toward him. Amber eyes meeting icy blue once more. “I’m only going to ask this once. But I want you to look at me when you answer..” He would say. His voice was husky with emotion and something more primal and basic. “Are you sure?” He would ask simply, his hand lightly on her chin before letting go and letting her meet his eyes herself to answer.

That question was important. With the absurd amount of emotions between them at the moment it was easy to get lost in the moment and make mistakes. He did not want this to be a mistake for her, wanted her to want it and not regret it. It would hurt him a great deal if she did and he wanted to avoid that dearly.

Hanabi pulled back and looked him into his eyes and smiled softly, raspy breaths, escaping her mouth. The consistent breaks made Hanabi feel something more, wanting to… not rush it. But to make it eager to start. Her eyes shimmered as she looked into his, almost glowing with excitement and euphoria. Before she would answer, she went next to his face, mouth near his ear and simply whispered before coming back into view of him. She placed her hand on the side of his face and kissed him deeply once more.

The shimmer in her eyes at his question. The glow of excitement and euphoria about her. The whispering of her answer in his ear. It all worked to solidify the fact that she wanted this to happen. That she was not making a mistake because of her emotions. She kissed him deeply and he returned it, holding her close to him for a few moments before breaking it. He would lean his forehead against hers before whispering. “Follow me then..” He would say before moving to take her by the hand and lead her down the hall. He would reach his bedroom door, the master of course and open it.

The room within was large, with a king sized bed, dresser, and standing mirror. A nightstand sat on either side of the bed and a door to the bathroom stood ajar on the far side. That was not important right now though. Instead Peragus turned toward her a small, welcoming smile on his lips as he led her inside. Once in he would lead to the edge of the bed before moving to pull her once more into a deep kiss. He would relish the feel of the thrumming tension between them. The rapid heart rate, his quickening breath. He would get lost in those feelings for a moment before turning so her back was to the bed and lightly pushing her upon it. “Let’s enjoy ourselves fully then..” He would say, a small grin on his features.

The pale morning light of dawn would peak through his bedroom window as he lay sleeping beneath the covers of his bed. A solid, physical warmth against him. Blearily that last would cause him to blink awake before seeing a head of white hair next to him, his arm wrapped around the waist of the woman next to him. He smiled softly as full recollection returned to him. He placed a small kiss on her head before moving to stand. The night had been exhausting, but wonderful. He moved quietly toward the bathroom, his state of dress not worth mentioning. Once within he would take a robe from the hook, his own. And don it, covering himself. Then he would move toward the large set of cabinets and pull out a spare for her. It was a few years old, from when he was a bit shorter. But it was clean and soft and warm. It would still be a little big on her but it would be a more tolerable fit than his own.

He would return to the room, and set the robe on the edge of the bed before placing a gentle hand upon the shoulder of the woman to wake her. “Good morning, Hanabi-chan.” He would say, his blue eyes searching for her golden ones. Should she awaken and look at him, he would smile down at her before speaking. “It’s time to greet the day.” He would say with a jovial tone.

Potential thread end and exit

Hanabi smiled back, following Peragus to his room, following his every step and command, giving sly chuckles. Her eyes very much said what would come next, leaving her memory blank after that…

Just as Peragus, the morning warmth embraced her arms and face as she faced the window, her hair a mess and her face… well we can say relaxed.. If you want to call sleeping with your mouth open and drooling relaxed, sure. Hanabi was no joke when it came to sleeping. Even then, she was a deep sleep at that, making her nights even more enjoyable. She remained asleep, subtle snores coming from her open mouth until the bed moved and feeling lips upon her forehead. She slowly started to wake up until Peragus placed his hand on her shoulder, her eyes slowly waking up. Tired groans came from her as she slowly sat up, rubbing her eyes to clear any dirt out. She gave a soft smile, her amber eyes looking into his again before realizing she had been fully undressed, only covered by the sheets that were on the bed. Hanabi looked down at her bare body, blushing bright and red. “Eheh…” she chuckled nervously. At this time, she noticed the robe and went to stand up to walk over. With one step, Hanabi fell forward, onto the ground, still wrapped up in the sheets. Hanabi looked up to Peragus, blushing harder, the realization of what all happened last night set in. Her body shook nervously, her whole body hot and face redder than anytime she had been red.


Hanabi’s first time, her innocence taken by a man she didn’t expect to do so. In the end, despite her embarrassment, she didn’t feel any regrets. A relationship born out of a chance encounter.
